They took $100 for nothing when I went to return the purchased watch within a week. They have one week return policy but Salesman was not accepting return if $100 is not paid. Please update your return policy on receipt instead of making things verbal. I feel cheated for paying $100 for nothing.

Guven’s entire family are top tier class act. Eisa the patriarch of the family makes us feel like his family. Always, recommending whats best for us. Ive learned after 15 years of buying jewelry from this family listen and respect the experts. There is a comment on here that just doesnt sit well with me. My family is Italian immigrants. And our patriarch had a thick accent and at moments could be misunderstood but there was never any negative intent. I dont think its fair to assume a narrative. Knowing this family for as long as we have they take care of all. I want to share an incident. There was a troubled young man that made a very bad decision and tried to aggressively break into the store by busting out the windows with a bat. Most would have reacted in fear and most likely pulled a gun out to stop the attack. And most likely used the gun against the young man. Not this family, Eisa used his hands against this young man and deescalated the situation and Eisa’s sons held the young man until the police arrived. I bought my wife’s wedding set from Guven 20 years ago. A few years ago my wife lost her wedding set so back to Guven we went. We’ve been back several times for jewelry or watch repairs. My Son was involved in a catastrophic motorcycle accident by a person who was on drugs by a car that didn't belong to him. My Son paid a price that has forever changed his life. It changed ours as well. No one is ever financially prepared for an accident of this magnitude. Reaching out for help from a system that is put in to place to help turned us away because of the fact he lives with us. So why am I telling you this? It's because I have lost faith in the human kindness of a Stranger. It took everything in me to walk into GUVEN'S JEWELRY STORE yesterday. I brought the last thing I own to sell, which is my engagement ring. I had the "honor " to speak to Chris, who owns the Store with his Father. He listened quietly too what brought me through the doors. His compassion was something I can't put into words. Chris looked at my ring and agreed it was beautiful. He said I could get so much more selling it privately and was willing to give me more than he normally would. Chris said "Sherry give me a few days to see what I can do. I am going to make some calls. I was hiding behind my sunglasses to hide my eyes from crying. Chris than OPENED UP HIS WALLET and kindly without making me feel "less than " and slid some money in my direction. I gave it back saying he had been kind enough to just listen to my story. He again INSISTED I take it. Since my son's accident I haven't had anyone do anything for us. Nothing. As a Mother we aren't emotionally prepared to see our Children broken. Chris for the third time just simply said "please take it ". Now I didn't have my readers on me so I had no idea what he actually gave me. I very humbly left the store. I couldn't believe a stranger could be so kind. Since my son's accident all I have heard is the word NO. So basically I have just given up on a miracle. I stopped by Publix to grab a few things we needed. While in line a young woman was shopping with two young children. She was in the process of putting a few things back. That's when I saw the gift from Chris. I was able to help her because Chris HELPED ME. I let her know I was paying it forward. If you are reading this and are going to purchase jewelry for the holidays don't wonder if these Gentlemen will stand behind your purchase. I can assure you they will. I may never meet another Chris, however one thing is certain, I will never forget his very kind gesture. Very rude sales lady! Was judging me at first glance. Had some stones I wanted set but all she could say was it was all costume jewelry. To her surprise I already knew the diamond was real and had more I did not show her but she took two seconds to turn me off of the place. They want you to walk in and buy only what they have! Will never go back.

I've used this jeweler in the past and was initially very impressed until I bought a piece of jewelry to them to repair, which cost wasn't much. These people had the audacity to deliberately cause further damage to my jewelry clearly in hopes that I would allow them to do more extensive work or simply replace my piece! Be very careful of their tactics because they are clearly very deceptive and can't be trusted!!! I'll never do business with them again.

This family of jewelers is wonderful! I’ve been a long-time customer and my husband surprised me this week by having a blue topaz stone redesigned from a pendant into a ring (it was outdated and something I was no longer wearing). Mr. Guven recognized my husband after not having been in for 5+ years and many family members helped design this beautiful piece. We moved out of Gwinnett but will always drive back for jewelry or watch purchases.

We walked in and were immediately greeted by a warm welcome from Marilyn (sorry if I spelled this wrong!) we were blown away with their selection of rings. Especially the men’s rings, there are SO many options. most other stores only have a few to choose from and that’s not fair to the guys looking! Marilyn was so sweet, patient with us, very helpful and never made us feel rushed to make a decision. The pricing here is amazing. They are not out to take advantage of you like other places. And warranty is FREE!!! What more could you want? We decided to buy his band here because it was $200-300 LESS than the other places we had looked, for a BIGGER ring! We ended up finding a wedding band for me too, even though I had already purchased mine from Jareds. I was able to get a nicer, bigger ring for LESS money. I was blown away. The value they offer here is unmatched and the customer service was outstanding. We have already told our friends and family how amazing they are. A friend HIGHLY recommended them, so I thought I went in to see if my preconceived beliefs held true. I was pleasantly surprised by this high end and high touch family owned business. Chris helped me with a beautiful watch for my wife and it was a very pleasant experience. I felt no pressure and I he was very willing to educate me with no expectations. We’ve purchased all of our beautiful fine jewelry from them - rings, watches, necklaces, bracelets, earrings, birthstone rings, etc. Chris & Isa Guven and his entire family have treated us like VIPs whether we had $25 to spend or $5,000. 3 years ago we wanted to upgrade my wedding ring so we went to window shop. Mr. Isa came over and asked me which one I wanted. I jokingly said, “THAT ONE!” I pointed out the one I could only dream of getting. It was for sure my “dream ring”. Well, Mr. Isa made it happen. They are always accommodating and their prices are great compared to other places I've shopped. Lots of "Jewelers" sell jewelery, but not many creat custom pieces and allow trade-in for upgrades. Guvens has my business for life.

So grateful we have found our new jeweler. My husband purchased a beautiful ring for me to celebrate our 25th anniversary. The ring fit but was a little snug so I decided not to wear it until we had it resized. On Saturday my ring was resized to perfection. There is no way one would detect my ring was resized. The customer service and craftsmanship they provide is OUTSTANDING.

I’m losing sleep over this transaction. My fiancé and I went in to look at wedding sets and were greeted by a very nice gentleman that helped us get exactly what she wanted. The initial encounter was great. However, when our order was ready, I received two phone calls from two different people within five minutes of each other. Seemed a little desperate. When we went in to pick up our order , we were not greeted by the same gentleman. Instead a young lady approached us and finalized the sale. This in itself was not so bad either except while she was showing us our order, there were at least two children demanding her attention and creating quite the distraction for me. I was so blown away by this lack of professionalism that we simply paid her and left. The reason I’m losing sleep is because I’m not very confident in my transaction with Guvens at this point. Usually when I purchase expensive jewelry, I would get a certificate with it verifying its authenticity, weight, ect. The only thing we have is a hand written receipt that is barely legible. My fiancé is tremendously happy but I’m not pleased with the level of unprofessionalism I experienced at this location. Would not recommend.

My mom recently had her rings resized here, so I went in today to get my husband’s chain fixed. Every single person was super friendly and asked if they could help me find something. The gentleman had my chain fixed within minutes and it looked great. I walked out feeling valued, and plan on being back in a few months to shop for an anniversary gift.

One of the owners Chris was very rude. He started helping me then asked me to go wait while he walked around the store just talking to people I waited 45mins then tried to get my things back from him then he wanted to help me. He's very rude and disrespectful. I was just trying to buy a new chain and he just kept walking around the store ignoring me. He said he was helping other customers but I was already there and was being helped by him until he walked off and he put me to the side to go help a customer who just walked in the door. We dropped by Guven’s to get a ring resized by Chris, went and grabbed lunch and by the time we came back the ring was ready for us to go! It was a super quick and speedy experience, the staff was friendly and I’m happy with how my ring now fits. I’ve been going to Issa and Guven’s since I moved here in 1997! Ever since the first time I walked into his store Issa has always walked over to me with a smile on his face and says, “How are you my friend?”, shakes my hand and then has me remove my jewelry so they can clean it. I read some of these reviews and just can’t believe that they were treated the way they claim to have been treated. I’ve bought several pieces from him over the years and when my daughter was born, he GAVE her a necklace with a cross on it which she wears almost daily and she’s now 13. Guven’s will always get my business when it comes to jewelry. Plain and simple. I cannot and will not believe these stories of rudeness.

Great workmanship but lousy customer service. The man servicing me was looking here and there so much that I asked if I should come back since he was too busy for me. He seemed to focus more on me, but kept fielding questions from salespeople on the floor. When I asked him about the possibility of removing some stones and moving others in my Mom's family ring, he popped out ?clippers? and started removing stones before even answering me. All turned out well, but I will never go there again. I want a jeweler who will listen and do what I want. I want a designer to create, not someone who, almost blindly mutilates what's in front of him. Any jewelry designers out there? I want a bracelet built from the ground up.

I came there my first time years ago to trade in a 2 carat diamond platinum ring and bought a beautiful eternity ring. Of course I paid extra because apparently the diamond I came in with was not the greatest quality. I went back today and the guy who served me remembered me!!!! I was suppose to give him the appraisal of my 2 carat ring years ago and I failed him!!! I had parents who died from cancer around that time and that appraisal was the last thing on my mind but I never told him that today! I hope he won’t keep reminding me of my faux pas as I feel terrible about it because I got a lot better deal then he did! I want to trade in my eternity Ring I bought from them years ago for diamond earrings as a trade in. They were exquisite and I will go back soon to get the earrings. Their jewelry is so exquisite and I will not trust any other jewelers again. I have been burnt too many times! The eternity ring is beautiful and it is very hard to part with it when I do give it up.
