This was my first visit at this location and I enjoyed it! Very clean atmosphere 👌 all the equipment worked and the staff was friendly and helpful! I also had a protein smoothie 😋 delicious

This is one of the worst gyms that I have been two and stopped going to. 1. The contract that no one talks about. They just bait you in to having you money taken away more than being welcoming. 2. Not keeping it clean to the public 24/7 3. The tours are a waste of time 4. The locker rooms are messy and the bathrooms who keeps it clean? 5. It is not worth your time to go down and put time into a gym that is not going to be honest, hard working to keep the gym clean, organized, and at a fair price to enter, also having good customer service. The contracts are the only thing that they have been doing for a long time. It is a waste of money and ain't worth my time. The same shouldn't be with you falling for a trap. I would say that my time was okay but it has gone down hill. It is insuring the basic stuff with having employees work and get the dirty job done so a member won't gag. I don't know how bad it is for all locations. I hope that for other locations are not all bad. I would like to see more improvement, and better work being done to preserve, and having more fair prices.

The gym is too crowded.The ppl invade your personal space.Some are boisterous/belligerent.Ppl stand around gossiping on their phones about you.Some are disrespectful & like to provoke to start fights.The worst location in Stlouis.

So, while I like the Club Fitness in Maplewood, I am displeased with this location. There is a lack of equipment like the Isolatoral Chest Press series - there is the decline and incline but not the standard. Also, it would be nice to have additional options in equipment. If someone, would like to reach out I would give additonal feedback.

Yikes! I just called to ask about memberships as Gold’s is now closed and both the gentleman and young lady I spoke to were incredibly rude. I asked about the fees, what is paid upfront, what is paid annually, etc. She answered, “It all just depends.” “Ok, depends on what exactly?” Silence for about a minute. “Hello?” “On when you sign up.” “Ok, great. So what will I need to pay upfront?” “You just pay the monthly membership.” “Ok. Is there a sign up fee?” Silence again. “Hello?” “Yeah, it’s a sign up fee.” “Ok, thank you. How much is it?” Silence. “Ma’am?” “It’s $21.xx.” “Ok, thanks so much.” “Mmhmm.” *Click* All I could do is laugh. I guess everyone is stressed out these days. However, CF will not be getting any of my money. Lol

Please be careful: My child has a membership with Club Fitness and getting out of it is the absolute worst. Walked in today to inquire about canceling the account. The representative was rude and very short with me. Also just a heads up incase you are not aware, to cancel your membership you must pay 2 months if you have had. it under a year. So canceling in it March you will still pay for April and May (upfront). This is a scam why pay for something you are not using. Plus the rude customer service just makes it worse. Ask question and read the fine print‼️

I was previously a member at Planet Fitness while living in Chicago but joined here recently after moving back because everyone I know goes here (family, boyfriend, etc). There's plenty of parking, the place is always clean and they do require you to wear a mask during this pandemic. They do cost more than Planet Fitness but I personally think it's worth it because they have more classes, more trainers, more machines/weights and for me, more convenient to get to. You can also go to different locations w/out paying a fee unlike Planet Fitness ($10 p/mo plan).

This facility covers your fitness needs whatever they be. Being am older gentleman I focus on a good 30 minutes of stretching then about 30 minutes of pulley machines for my shoulders recovering from injury. Very encouraged with the staff and their helpfulness. I have enjoyed their abundance of cardio equipment too but I'm getting outside for that now.

This place is alright. Planet fitness is cleaner. This place beats planet fitness due to availability of free weights. Other than that, it's just alright. Customer service is nothing to be desired. I can sit at the front desk intending to make a purchase and be ignored for 5 minutes. It wouldnt be so bad if they just ignored you out of sheer ignorance to my presence at the front desk, but somehow seeing them look at you and then return to the conversation they might be having makes it worse. As a business man myself, all I can think is how I would terminate employment of someone I saw doing that in my business. Oh, and since the place gets packed and I doubt they pay attention to covid rules I'd say it's a living pietry dish. So I give the place 2 stars. Response- you guys have all the info here. I dont need to take more time out of my day to send an email. Take the feedback and speak to your employees. Let them know that if a customer is standing at front desk that they take priority over a conversation with coworker or friends. No reason why someone should stand there for 5 minutes waiting to buy water or ask a question when an employee can clearly see they are waiting for something. Also- covid rules is 25% capacity. I passed by Tuesday and the entire parking lot was packed, know for a fact you guys exceeded that.

Clean and very welcoming CF location! Love my personal trainer Kyle and the rest of the staff here. Also, they make delicious and refreshing smoothies for some post workout protein and recovery! Always a good time here!

I come here 2-3 times per year when I visit. I called to ask if they were giving day passes and was told yes only to drive up here and be turned away.

The staff welcomes you and are friendly. The staff also keeps the equipment sanitized and clean.

I have been attend this gym for over 5 years. And I am so grateful that I joined. The staff is very professional, kind and considerate. They work to keep the place clean, and safe. I want to thank Kyle for helping me today. He went out of his way to help me where I struggled, and I appreciate his kindness. The staff works hard, and their teamwork is impressive. Keep up the great work! I look forward to coming to the gym to work on keeping my health in tack. You guys are the best!

You know laying 40 bucks a month to use this gym you would assume that someone would inform you of the change to a barcode based system. Now it's late I'm locked out of the gym and will have to doy workout another day which screws my schedule. Will someone remind me what I am paying g you 40 dollars a month and a yearly fee of 150 for please?

This is not a Bad gym at all, but I do wish staff was more interactive out on the floor because a lot of Unspoken gym rules are not being followed, weights are always all over the place. Never put back and you have so many older guys at this gym they just do anything . Using 2-3 different machines that aren’t even close to one another . It’s impossible to get a solid pace lift in. Because the machine is either missing plates or has a book bag by it with no one in sight. PLEASE PUT STAFF ON THE FLOOR MONITORING AND STAYING ON TOP OF MACHINES

I just love this place... The staff, the extra space they now have, and the quality of equipment.. Due to covid I do miss the steam room and kids play area for my little ones but I would never go to and other place or location...

I would give zero stars if I could, this location is horrible and I do not recommend you go there. The staff are terrible and they lock you in contracts. The staff are heretics and banned me for my faith in God. They sprayed shave gel all over me and the bathroom while I was minding my business and then accused me of doing so. And there's this one fat employee named Canyon (he's weaker than my 10 year old grandson) he's the worst of them all and did I mention he was fat. Sincerely Hulum Von

Another Club Fitness gym that went beyond expectations, so much space and machines to use. Plus the cycle instructors are amazing!

This is one of the worst gyms I've ever been to and I've traveled most of the country. They have children running it. Management is almost nonexistent. Cleanliness isn't really a thing there. The locker rooms smell like someone's gym sock that was left out in the Louisiana sun. Oh and the groups that workout and take over areas of the gym. Groups of 6-9 dudes hogging multiple machines. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place.

I had a membership with Golds Gym when they went out of business. My Golds Gym membership was then transferred to Club Fitness without my consent, they started billing me for a membership I didn’t want without my consent, and when I’ve tried to cancel my account they told me it could only be done through mail or in person. And yet they were able to bill for many months without meeting me in person or having Any written communication with me.

Clean equipment, the sauna is nice, and the staff is very friendly. One of the better CF I've been to.

This gym is bigger on the inside then it appear to be the staff is very friendly an goes over the top for the guess which is great oh an it has a very refreshing scent in the locker room.

Love the friendly, helpful attitude among the entire staff. Customer service is alive and well here at my Club Fitness! They’re polite and smile, even. That has become rare these days, and I love coming here. We’ll definitely be renewing our membership.

When I came in the first person I saw had the biggest smile so that was awesome. I had a smoothie made that tasted amazing and really energized me. All the equipment was clean, easy to use, and their manager Bailey was extremely helpful with answering questions about the different tiers of membership. 10/10 my favorite Club Fitness in the St. Louis area!

I had a good day at the club. I had a personal trainer give me a free 1 hour fitness assessment. That in itself was a good workout. Now I know my weaknesses as well as my strengths. I continue on and also had a great lower body workout and core on the weight machines. I'm off to a great start.

Nice facility. Membership was automatically transferred over from another chain that folded during the pandemic. Plenty of space to work out while being physically distant. Love that there is 24 hr access, but irritated that cycle studio is only accessible by ID fob, which means I have to carry my keys around with me if I want to use it or the burn studio.

This gym has improved greatly in the past 2 years. I enjoy coming here and seeing similar faces. The staff is pretty friendly and it doesn’t seem like the assistant manager minds it much that I check him out pretty much my entire workout nearly everyday👀

I go to the Maplewood location and I must say it's Awesome. Very clean, helpful staff and mask are strongly recommended but not mandatory. They also offer the best indoor cycling class called Cyclinn with Quinn that you must try at least once

The greeter, Devon, was kind and helpful. The facility is clean and well kept. Busy but not so full we had to wait on equipment.

Tracey M's zumba class is the absolute best!

Be careful. I had my friend join at this location and she specifically chose the lower plan and didn't do the $1 enrollment because of the hidden fees. Lo and behold she wakes up this morning and they still took $100 out. When to the location the manager said she didn't know and to call customer service. She was absolutely no help, she told the associate what I had to pay and walked off like she didn't even care. I cancelled it.

I regularly train at this gym and this is by far one of my favorite locations. Large facility and well maintained the employees are friendly and helpful and hardly any of the equipment is ever broke. Five stars.

The club itself is great. Customer service wise, they struggle. They don’t have a phone number that anyone answers. Anything, billing wise, is directed to a call center which is not English proficient and always refers back to the club. Even their corporate office out in St Peters doesn’t seem to be able to manage the business. I suggest you pay in full at the start or you will get fees added on if anything is the slightest bit wrong with your account. When you finally reach a manager - who you have to be lucky to find at the time they are working, they can fix problems but it sure isn’t easy. I might suggest a different gym if it were not so close to home.

Equipment is so up to date and in good condition and the staff is full professionals with excellent demeanor and respect to the members! Lily was a very professional employee and was willing to help in all manners Highly recommend

The gym equipment itself is alright, but you have to avoid the bathroom, they never clean it and it smells so bad. I bet when you use their air dryer for hands, the filter inside is full of dust so you might as well avoid that as well and use the McDonalds bathroom down the street before you go in to workout.

The sauna is down for weeks at a time & car break ins average weekly by broken windows, not unlocked doors! So unfortunate that there isn’t more care & concern at such a beautiful facility because of its location.

The staff is very friendly and answered every question I had regarding the ingredients in their smoothies and made suggestions that would help during and after my work out!

Its a nice place to workout, however after hours once the crew is gone for the day it tends to get really nasty and unclean. Water bottles and other drinking cups etc on the floor unattended machine wipe down rags all over the floor(s) not a well kept place in the form of cleanliness after hours, but over all a great place to workout, the staff is helpful and friendly very knowledgeable about the equipment among other things. No issues such as security are anything of that nature the people that attend also seem to be very friendly orientated I give them a 8 out of 10

I like coming to this gym but they have been slacking on cleanliness. I came in about 3:30am to work out and the cans that hold the sanitizing wipes were empty, there was dried up wipes and empty water bottles on the floor, and the bathroom needed to be cleaned. The toilets were nasty and the floors needed to be swept and mopped. The men's locker room has a foul odor in there. If this isn't fixed I more than likely will be canceling my membership.

Stopped in for a trial workout while in town for a weekend. Pretty nicely equipped gym, didn't notice any broken equipment. They could use some adjustable benches and a few more racks. But at the time I went it wasn't an issue, it was not crowded and i got to use what I needed without a wait. Talked with a few of the members while there. Mostly friendly...except for the guy who couldn't be bothered. I don't live here, but if I were choosing a gym to go to I would probably think twice. As friendly as some of the people were...apparently unloading your weights on machines is not a thing at this place. I was there for just under two hours...and except for the rack, I had to unload every single machine I used. Not the gym culture I'm used to. But otherwise, the place appeared clean and wipes are provided for you to clean up after you used equipment.

This is Mary Hembree. I am a senior citizen and am happy to be able to come in under an insurance program. When time permits I come in I walk, ride a stationary bike and do a few weights. Everything is always clean and I am not aware of any equipment failures. Everyone is always friendly and helpful.

This is one of the worst gyms in the area. Unclean and unkempt. The common areas are nasty and unsanitary. That's not even the worst problem. The gym has you locked into a contract you are expected to follow when they clearly don't. It is unsafe, unclean, and an unfair place overall. There is another rate hike coming and they are taking amenities away voiding current contracts and promises. Beware

Fullsize lockers would be beneficial. Athletes carry quite a bit if gear. The ability to secure these items and bulky bags is a great draw. Been to other locations with upgrades such as wall units with shampoo/body wash in the showers for convenience and more updated layouts.

Nice large facility and not as crowded as some of the other Clubs.

I just wish we could have the sauna or lower the monthly fee to $10

Giving 5 stars because long story short good customer service. my local gym was on delmar and closed and I think the membership moved here, but I hadn’t been going in because of the vid. So I put my acct on froze, but then it unfroze and I got charged. Online it said you had to go in person or mail to cancel an account.. but I emailed and I think because of the virus circumstances they’ll cancel and refund you if you’re in a weird situation. Much appreciated

Great experience and great club overall. Was visiting them on 3 day pass because of was staying in Saint Louis for 2 days before going back to my base. Very friendly staff and clean facility. Wasn’t busy in the morning and they have plenty of equipment. From free weights to machines. Safe environment as well because they promoting wearing the mask.

The club is generally well-run. I normally don't have to wait for equipment. The price is VERY reasonable for what you get. I've been going to this gym daily for several years and I love working out there.

Great place, nice classes and amenities, just wish there was a swimming pool or bball court option like Gold's Gym before it closed down.

Update: So I did leave a negative review for this location because the people I spoke to a week ago were no help. The service I received today changed my views. I called yesterday and I spoke to Steve explaining my situation about my membership. He said he’d investigate and it was almost time for him to end his shift. I just so happen to call too late😅🥴. Initially, I was going to wait for a call back. Today I find out I was charged a fee. It was odd because a week ago, an employee told me that my card was not on file. If my card is not on file, how and why am I being charged?🤔 So, this morning I go to speak with a manager about that and my membership issue. Abby was a dear. She took the time to find a solution to the problem. I felt relief because someone cares! 😂 Seriously, I’m glad she took the time to assist me and Steve as well.

Not bad organization, but for some reason the womens sauna at the Florissant location is not hot enough. I've had my membership for 2 months and have complained several times but it hasnt been better. Some days its luke warm, some days its warmer but never hot like other locations I've been to. Also, another set of lower weight free weights in another area would be nice. It's hard getting to those during peak hours.

Great place to work out. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They are constantly cleaning to keep the patrons safe!

Great gym. Plenty of equipment. Big open spaces. Turf with a sled and an area to do movements. I'd go back if I lived there!

The website states that the tanning hours for the gym on the weekend ends at 6pm. Well, I just finished my workout today at 4pm and was looking for an employee to start the tanning bed for me... yeah, you guessed it, there was ZERO employees there to help. I guess they're on their own schedule.

Good gym, I can always get a full workout in even when it's busy. At worst I'll change up order to wait on the machine I want, but there's plenty of options. General vibe is good, everyone's pretty much there just to work out and mind their own business and 99% of free weights are put back in the right spot 🙂
