Changed service offerings while under a 12-month contract term. Wanted 3-months fee to cancel membership for them wanting me to upgrade to a better membership. Loyalty is a 2-way street, if you want my loyalty then grandfather in the services I signed up for for the term of my contract or allow us to quit without fees if you do. What a scam, get you coming with joining fees, change services while you are within your probation period, then charge you to cancel. Welcome to the club right

A medium sized club fitness that is usually overpacked during the busy hours. It gets to a point where you should probably limit the visitors when there’s not a single piece of equipment available. The men’s bathroom here smells absolutely offensive. I went here for a few weeks and it only got worse over time. It’s baffling the staff had done nothing to try and get rid of it but, you can see others struggling to breathe and covering their face with their shirts when you walk in.

I've been emailing since April 25th trying to receive information on the Gold's/PF merge, and what was included in my membership. I wasn't interested in cancelling, but potentially adjusting. Instead of responding, they've charged me twice. June and July, to a membership I never consented to, and even had written confirmation that I didn't consent to charges on my card until I had signed a member agreement. The business has completely mishandled and been unprofessional, only responding to me via fb, and lying about being only "two weeks" behind email responses. I want a refund, and a cancellation to the membership I never signed up for.

They require a 30-day notice for cancellation, which is how they squeeze another month of dues out of you. It’s a terrible business practice.

They have a 3 day free trial which was great but the staff wasn't super helpful when I had a question. She looked like she didn't want to be there & I didn't understand her smirky demeanor. The equipment is older but I believe that they are getting new equipment soon. Bathrooms were clean. Good in and out gym.

Great facility, always clean only bad thing is the parking lot pot has holes everywhere. As a car enthusiast that needs to fixed. I’ve been coming here for the past 3 years and not one pot hole was fixed.

HOLY COW! Buy the old golds gym building! This gym is insanely crowded. I have never see. Anything like it! Equipment great, employees great! But There is too many people for the size of gym! Please open a 2nd saint peters location

Good location and decent equipment, but for the last few months after 7pm the music cuts out every second and distracts you from your workout. It's terrible and kills your motivation. Mentioned it to the staff multiple times and claim it's an internet problem they can't do anything about. Just turn it off no music would be better than on-off-on-off every second. If you want your evening workout ruined, perfect gym for it.

The ceiling is leaking over the rowing machines. There are only 4 rowing machines. Due to Covid 2 are closed, leaving only 2 in the entire gym to use. Also, it doesn't look like the rowers are maintained well. The parking lot is a mine field of pot holes

The parking lot of this Club Fitness looks like it was used as a practice field for bomber planes. The bathrooms are always really clean. There are plenty of cardio machines at this Club Fitness location. They also have a small turf area where you can stretch. I like that the weight area is in its own small section on the side of the gym. When it rains really hard, the ceiling will leak sometimes. I wish there were more benches and water fountains. The Club Fitness in Maplewood is definitely the best in the St. Louis/Charles area, but I give this location a solid 3rd Place. If you ever need to feel better about the quality of your gym, visit the hell hole that is the Club Fitness off of Olive. It's basically the gym you would find in the basement of a prison.

If you are looking for a personal trainer here, I suggest Ryan Bingaman. I’ve been working out with him for over two years now and still enjoy the workouts, knowledge, and professionalism he provides. He is busy as he has a good amount of clients, but still easy to schedule with. The gym itself is great…even better since the remodel. Would give 5 stars except the locker room usually smells strongly of mold. Overall great gym. I drive 30 min to workout here!

I have been coming here for the past 10 years. This place has all the gym amenities that you will ever need. The staff here is awesome especially in the kids club. I bring my 8 yrs old here and she has great times. Wanted to give a shout out to Cassie for making a great peanut butter shake for us that one day. My daughter absolutely thinks it’s the best shake ever. Cheers!!

Giving 3 stars strictly because of the parking lot. I am actually quite a fan of the gym itself (inside) honestly. So the parking lot... the asphalt has so many POTHOLES. This is going to sound dramatic, but my advice is to be prepared have your spare tire handy. 😉 Also, there are NO LIGHTS outside in the parking lot. Repeat: no illumination. Which makes going to the gym at night some what eerie and creepy. Just want to share my experience and "shed some light" on a few issues I thought could be improved on. thanks for reading

Be prepared to have the terms of your agreement changed when join club fitness. They will increase the price and decrease the benefits mid-way through your year agreement. They won’t honor the original terms you signed up for - and if you have a problem with that, oh well. What is good about the club fitness - the class instructors.

The new setup took away a row machine. Please add another or 2. These are way more popular than 14 bikes in 1 row, or the 9 ellipticals in the back row. 😪

I love coming here. Every employee is amazing! I feel comfortable working out there. Not intimidated like other gyms I've been to. Also the massage bed after working out makes me feel amazing when I leave.

I recently left Club Fitness only to be completely disappointed with another gym. Upon returning I had the privilege of meeting one of the companies HR employees. He was very helpful and directed me to a staff member to immediately assist me. The professionalism and quality of customer service is beyond compare. I’m glad to be back!

Saint Peter's location is the dirtiest location. Huge dust bunnies everywhere. Wipe containers always empty. Mens locker room is filthy. Staff just stands behind counter on their phones.

Cancelled my membership. Members don't wear masks while inside. Staff isn't very friendly.

How about you offer tanning beds where the bulbs work.

I have not been using my account due to the pandemic. I froze my account within the required time frame. I received a confirmation email saying that my freeze is activated and I would not be charged for the next 3 months. I was still charged and club fitness corporate office is not responding to my emails regarding a refund. I have had to file a dispute claim with my bank, which could take up to 3 months. Don't tell customers one thing, and then turn around and do something completely against your word. Update: According to my signed agreement, the fee is NOT annual fee.

The facilities are clean and the team is very friendly. My only suggestion would be for them to check their workout equipment and make sure they runs smoothly. Several of the ellipticals and treadmills make noises when I use them.

Great selection of equipment, staff is friendly, and the location is easy to access. I really enjoyed my personal trainer experience. They put a lot of effort into making my individual plan to help me reach my goals.

Absolutely love the atmosphere here! The staff is very attentive with all your needs. They have newer equipment and tanning and the red light beds! All my needs in one stop!! The classes are fun and I always feel my best after I finish one. If you haven’t checked out this location you definitely should! Jessie is the best!!

Love this gym and everyone that works there!! My home away from home. I have been a member with Club Fitness since 2008 and this gym has come a very long way and so have I. I have met so many friends and amazing people from working out here. If you haven't joined yet you should.

Joined a bit back but had surgery and wasn’t cleared until August 1st. Went in and was welcomed warmly and quickly by Jessie. It’s been a while since I’ve been to the gym but they made me feel very welcomed. Looking forward to many more good workouts!

The members of this Club Fitness are very respectful and warming as soon as you enter the facility. Members are very good about wiping down the machines after use for sanitize purposes. I love coming here everyday!

The equipment is up to date. Club Fitness has a little of every type of equipment for whatever type of workout you want to achieve. There isn't a time that I visit that I don't see someone cleaning the equipment. The bathroom is also so cute and always smells soooooo good. I know that's probably weird to put in a review, but it's true. Oh! The smoothie station is amazing as well!

I love this location! The staff is always upbeat and friendly. Always clean and equipment updated. I love that they have five squat racks. Even during busiest times, it’s not hard to get a good workout in.

If you are looking for a new gym I recommend club fitness. The staff is friendly. The gym has a variety of equipment suited to fit the needs of those who are just starting too those who are more experienced. In addition the smoothie bar, tanning beds, and hydro-electric massage beds are a great way of ending any workout.

So I was 50/50 on coming in here and getting a membership, as a matter of fact I convinced myself on my ride over here that I was not going to sign up for a membership… but here I am a new member of Club Fitness… why? Because Carol Ann made it easy and the features are honestly wonderful. I have a toddler as well and this gym more than seems to fit my schedule and goals. Thank you!

New to the area and this is a nice gym with all the right equipment. Very clean on the floor but the sauna needs a deep clean. Someone might end up getting ring worm in that thing but on the other hand the heat is perfect! The cleanliness of the sauna is the only reason why this place isn’t a 5 in my opinion. This is an update a couple days after I posted this. Within this short time they have cleaned the sauna. Which means they care and actually look at these reviews. For this I’m changing my score to a 5 star review!

Most of the staff is very friendly and helpful. Willing to answer questions and help you along your journey. The club is clean and they have wipes all over so you can wipe down equipment before and after use. I love the Fusion Room.

Great facility, super clean, and organized. Allie and Cassie were super friendly when I came in and definitely gave me a good experience. Even gave me a free smoothie!!! They made me excited to get back to working out

This CF is clean and well maintained. A friendly staff greets me during normal business hours when I arrive. Recently I had the need for an out of country visit from a dear friend and I sent email inquiring how I could get a visitors pass. CF GM responded under 24 hours and invited me to meet him while providing me with his working schedule. I meet GM and he helped me get the pass for my friend.

I’ve been coming here for years. Great service, nice and friendly staff, great knowledgeable trainers. Super clean weight rooms. I moved 30 minutes away and still come back to this location. There were recently more racks added, and I never have to wait for the weights I want to use. The new renovations and updates look great. The new parking lot is a big improvement too. If you want to get to the next level with personal training, ask for Ryan Bingaman, he’s a super pro and great guy.

UPDATE: I sent an email to the address given on their website. The area manager, Joseph Phipps, took care of the issues IMMEDIATELY and responded back to me with an apology. This is why I lift local!! I LOVE this location. Unfortunately, it has gone downhill the last few months since the change of management (congrats on your promotion Jessie Cook!). One of my favorite amenities is Red Light Therapy. RLT is currently a waste of my time at this location due to at least 6 bulbs out and the rest weak. I have mentioned this to the staff for months...first 2 bulbs, then 3, then 5 out... "We'll let management know" or "They're currently working on the beds." Restrooms apparently are not maintained on the weekends, too :(

CF is a nice gym. I enjoy working out there. The equipment is adequate and the employees are very nice and helpful for the most part. I only recommend that the club requires/enforce all of the customers to wear proper gym attire when working out and to prohibit people from hanging jackets and other clothe items on the rails inside the gym for safety reasons and for proper gym etiquette.

I was a member of Golds Gym. When they closed down during the pandemic and my membership moved to Club Fitness, I wasn’t charged a monthly payment for over a month and a half of using Club Fitness. When I was charged, I was able to seamlessly transfer my monthly plan to one that fit my needs. The gym is excellent. The only issue is the crowd. It’s practically impossible to work out on Mondays after work. Club Fitness, please purchase a much larger building for your Saint Peters location.

As a farmer Gold's Member now going to Club Fitness I'm very pleased with the cleanliness the friendliness of this gym hope soon that they will be able to have some really early morning classes like 5 a.m. 6 a.m. because I am still working and very pleased with the changeover from Gold's to Club Fitness

Their cancellation process isn't good. It feels like they try to make the process difficult to retain their customers. I tried to cancel my membership in person in May due to pandemic and they said they can't schedule a cancellation for me. I'll need to go again to cancel around the end of my contract (September). Because I'm moving out of MO, they ask me to MAIL a letter around early September for cancellation without being charged. Why they can't offer cancellation via phone or email? Suddenly they start charging members when they re-open around the end of June. The only choice for members who do not feel comfortable to the gym is freeze their account and preventing them from being charged. However, the freezing period DOES NOT count into the 12 months in your contract, which means your contract got extended. So you'll either pay monthly or pay for the early termination fee.

The staff here are amazing. My four year old begs to go to the kids club to hang out with them. Have not had one bad experience at this gym and I go a few times a week.. hands down the best club fitness in St Charles. Love the people and the feeling of community🥰

I really enjoy going to this club fitness. Staff is always friendly. It does get really crowded in the afternoon so the only thing that would make it better is if they had multiple workout machines for certain body parts.

Great place to workout. The machines at this location are a little close for COVID, but they do have staff constantly sanitizing equipment. The have a tanning booth and classes at this location too. If I lived a little closer I may go to this one.

Club Fitness does a great job in most locations I've been to. For a busy gym they really maintain a pretty clean environment. The equipment is well maintained and rarely do you see equipment down and if it is they repair it quickly. You really can't beat the cost for what you get. They've come along way from where they were even 5 years ago. Many of their gyms remodeled and updated.

A top class gym with friendly and knowledgeable staff. Recommended.

Great gym. Very impressed with cleanliness, equipment and staff. The location I visited was pretty busy today however I'm guessing there is overflow from St. Louis as those area gyms are still closed.

Beware of the hidden fees and obligations. The sales staff will attempt to get you more expensive options for higher commissions. You will have fees included that are not listed in the initial sales presentation (hidden fees) but concealed within the contract. I do not recommend this gym.

Other than the weird guys dancing and or soliciting sales from you in the sauna, i love the amount equipment and size of this gym. They upgrade the gym a lot and its great.

Helpful, store was clean and organized. Very helpful and didn't act like I was bothering them. A little higher in price but, I think it's worth it.

Best gyms on the planet hands down! The staff is friendly and always ready to help with anything you that you need. I can do any type of workout on any given day with the amenities they provide. I hit the pulse studio today for a quick 20 minute workout on my lunch break at the St Peter’s location. They have a full training staff and Zae the head trainer gave me some tips on improving my 40 yard dash time. They have a recovery area with hydro massage chairs I hit up on the way out too! I recommend checking them out!

Definitely a great establishment and for the most part the employees are friendly, but I am extremely disappointed in the fact that I had been with this gym since 2103 and wanted to downgrade my membership to the basic membership and was informed I would need to sign another 1 year commitment. Not something I feel should be done if you are downgrading and have been with them for 8 years! Ended up cancelling membership because of this!

Great gym overall. Good equipment and quick repairs. Nice staff and the people who go here are really cool too. Wish they would open another location in St. Charles to make this one less overcrowded though. Because of the crowding, I only go on weekends and at night. The parking lot is a mess, but it's the landlord's fault and out of CFs control.

Huge selection of different cardio equipment as well as weights for lifting. They have everything a person could want for a great workout. It is a very Clean, Friendly, and well equipped facility.

The staff is really friendly and gym itself is good. Unfortunately the men’s bathroom and sauna always smells rancid. The sauna looks and smells like it’s never been wiped or sanitized and the bathroom always smells pungent. Otherwise it would be 5 stars. I usually don’t make reviews like this but I’ve been coming here for over 6 months and it still has not been addressed.

I’ve been to many gyms and Club Fitness has been the best. Very friendly employees, knowledgeable trainers, CLEAN!!! I have been so happy being member. Lately what I have loved seeing about my gym in particular is how they are updating things. A fixed parking lot, modern look, new machines. They listen to what the members want! Very happy client. I love coming to the gym! Cheers!
