0 enforcement of mask wearing outside of signs. would not recommend if you want to feel safe. Was told that I need to continuously tell the manager when violations occur when clearly that is not my job, but the job of the establishment to constantly monitor if safety is the top priority. No responsibility will be taken

These place are thieves. They lure you to join and when you have to cancel your membership they still take your money out of your bank account. No matter how much proof you have submitted to them. Now with the pandemic and opening without no notice they take your money out. But now it’s even a higher amount. With no notice at all. It’s time to find a good lawyer and sue this company for lying and scamming people.

This is a warning to those with existing medical conditions. This gym discriminates those with medical conditions. When I informed the gym of my existing medical condition the manager demanded that I provide documentation from a doctor of my medical condition which is a blatant violation of HIPAA. Also when I informed them that I could not provide such documentation at this time the manager said that I was lying about my condition and made it seem as if my condition was a joke. I highly recommend not using this edge location, which is a shame cause the facilities are great but it is not worth the attacks from the management at this location.

A nice place but expensive. Front staff can be nice at times, but if you are not a member they treat you differently and you can feel it. I was asked "are you a member" at least four times in the 30 minutes on the property - it seems like everyone in the club is trained to ask this question before they answer a question. My kids were enrolled in summer/camp swim classes but the the treatment was not professional. We inquired about the swim level and what we were told at sign up time was totally different than the actual experience. Despite the fact we were told they would be able to move them up after first evaluation (and there would be space) that was not the case - but we already paid so there is nothing they could do. My kids did not want to return - they were a bit more advanced than the group they were in and did not like it. Disappointing as we were considering membership.

This place is everything I want in a fitness center! The facility is clean and well maintained, has the latest equipment and an awesome staff. I've been a guest at East Bank Club for years with my rich uncle and I prefer LFC! Who needs a piano player to exercise! LOL! Charmaine can guide you; Alisha can train you but if you need to go hard, Morgan is a beast.!

They try to make it your job to see and report violations of the mask rule instead of monitoring the situation themselves. Signs everywhere that they will remove violators yet they just tell the same people over and over again to put their mask on, but only when a customer reports it! They never do it on their own. Would say safety is extremely low on their priorities.

It's so ironic how clean this gym is but how ruthlessly dirty the company/staff are. If you want your card to be unknowingly charged on a monthly basis for services you never even signed up for and or canceled, this is the gym for you. If you bring any billing issues to the staff members attention no one seems to know what your talking about nor are they willing to take initiative to resolve the issue. I extremley regret signing up. Do yourself a favor and stay away so you don't cause a whirlwind of headaches for yourself.

Definitely not as good as ZIP fitness though for as little as $10 a month with what do you expect. They simply do not have as much free weights as Zip Fitness once had which has me looking at other options for a gym membership. The parking lot is huge and you can always find parking. Hours have improved from Zip Fitness. A good gym for someone who is a beginner to an intermediate.

This place has that university feel to it. The vey tall ceilings, a pool, an indoor track, and a full court basketball court all add up to a roomy experience. I love the towel service that comes with membership. I also love the hot tub, sauna, and steam room in the locker room. Who doesn't like feeling hot on a cold day? The members are a very diverse crowd, ranging from young college athletes to old retirees. In all: a clean and well maintained facility. While it's a lot more expensive than your average store front gym, it has the amenities that make it worth the cost.

Nice facility, but the cost of it is not proportional when compared with other rec centers.

I was visiting the area for a weekend. I wanted to go to 2 classes....apparently this gym doesn't have day passes. It is the FIRST fitness center in all my years of travel to all different states (and countries) that doesn't have a day pass program. I was completely turned off by this policy that smacks of snobbery.

Extremely steep membership sign up fees and monthly membership also steep, I don't think its worth it personally. $600 to get in plus the membership cost.. thats well over $700 wow. rediculous!

Absolutely awful mask policy with covid, I understand walking around but to have it on all the time is a little much, also the sauna is closed indefinitely yet the monthly rate is the same

This place says you have to wear a mask while working out. That’s a safety hazard. The gym I go to you have to wear a mask walking in the door and they take your temperature but not working out. Your not suppose to wear a mask while working out

I absolutely love this fitness center! It is clean and spaced out so everyone has their own safe space for a workout. I am a huge fan of the hot tubs that they provide, especially the one that is in the women's locker room. The jets are just what I need after working out. My best friend is in Roller Derby and i am aerialist so this place is just what we need after we are sore from training! I was looking for a place like this for a very long time. Thank you to the warm and friendly staff who make this such a nice experience for us every time.

I've just joined (a week ago). There's free lot and garage parking, numerous aqua classes daily, and clean, easy to use locker rooms with free pin number operated lockers. I hope enrolling for aqua classes will allow for multiple day reservations eventually, but otherwise, I'm enjoying getting to know the variety of classes and instructors. Allow a few extra minutes for parking; at times you need to park on 4th floor, but there is an elevator.

I feel that for what the gym offers it's great. There is plenty of equipment and it's diverse to get the most out of a personas workout. I also found it to be pretty clean and well kept in comparison to others. I honestly feel like it's a great option. Though the parking can be a little hectic depending on the time of your arrival, but non the less a person will have access to one of the parking buildings regardless.

Our whole family LOVES Liberty. The family pools, indoor and outdoor, are fantastic. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and on the ball. The equipment and facilities are well maintained and up-to-date. The day care staff and space are excellent. It is well worth the membership cost.

THE MOST DISGUSTING PLACE!!! STAY AWAY! THE MANAGER DOES NOT CARE IF YOU COMPLAIN. IF YOU WANT TO GET SICK AND CATCH COVID THEN THIS IS THE EXACT PLACE. TOO CROWDED NO SOCIAL DISTANCING AND NO MASKS AT ALL!!! ALL THE EQUIPMENT IS LEFT WITH SWEAT AND THE FLOOR IS ALWAYS MESSY WITH CHALK. STAY AWAY!!

For the past few months I have become increasingly disappointed by the service, or lack thereof, offered at this gym. Do not allow the low price point to draw you in. Once a machine breaks, it NEVER gets fixed. I have informed staff members at the front desk about broken equipment multiple times, only to return days later to see these machines still broken and without an "out of order" sign attached to them. I will be discontinuing my gym membership there, as well as encouraging all of the friends I have recommended the gym to, to do the same.

What a pleasure to train at a place where people are focused on quantifiable results and health, whether they are med or nursing students, hospital staff or patients pre or post op. Everyone minds their own business- yet they are friendly and offer encouragement. The staff trainers are approachable and knowledgable and very precise in their coaching since there is a full range of circuit equipment to leverage, and a plates room, cycling and a fabulous lap pool. Perhaps most important in this age of COVID-19- the facility is not overpopulated, people are respectful re: wearing masks and the protocol re: wiping down equipment before and after use (although I noted an increasing # of men probably 30-45 years old must view themselves as "invincible" as they don't clean the equipment before or after use. The women are much more attentive/ conscientious about the hygienic requirements.) The women's locker room is clean and comfortable, and again not over crowded. I haven't taken any of the classes yet but I will, and once I complete the two month pre-surgical program, and do a second 8 weeks I will sign up for membership. I allocate several hours to warm up, circuit training and cool down- mind-boggling I can spend close to three hours exercising and not get bored! I live within a quarter mile of a private tennis/ fitness center, and 1.25 miles from Lifetime fitness, but willingly drive out to Maywood for this facility. I only wish the facility was closer, but it becomes like a quest or pilgrimage traveling 12 miles or so to get there, and another 12 to return home. The membership rate is a bargain at about half the cost of a ritzy club AND this facility doesn't have children running around, doing cannonballs into the pool etc. Thank you Loyola for having a medically relevant, well managed facility where we can improve our Selves.

Marissa Rodriguez provided incredible guest services to me. I was about to get in the lap pool and noticed that I had lost my googles. Marissa was walking by the pool and offered to go to their fitness store and get some goggles I could pay for on the way out. She brought two pairs for me to choose from. I was blown away by her incredible hospitality and kindness! By bringing the googles to the pool, she helped me from having to leave the pool, get dressed again, and go out to the fitness store. Incredible service!!!

I really like this gym but for the money, they really need to be open much later on the weekends. I can find 24hour gyms for less money. They were not only closed on Christmas day but also closed on the 26th (the federal holiday). I've been a member of many different gyms over the years and I've always been able to work out on the holidays. It's also extremely hot. They could really use some of those giant fans to get some circulating air. Staff is mostly nice but I did not appreciate one employee telling me to clean up after myself when they were 50 minutes from closing time.

Joined a year ago and we love it. We came for the pool but the entire facility has so much to offer. Lots of machines, jogging track, racket sports, basketball and plenty of classes to choose from. Staff is always available for help with training or health evaluation. Therapeutic massage available. Attached to Loyola University Hospital. Great for physical therapy and handicap accessibility.

Not the best gym to go to. Every time I went last year something's closed or they close for employee parties or something's shut down.on on.like the pool and jacuzzi, or half the entire place! One rude blonde lady at front desk..idk Not worth the cost imo, dirty showers, and they charge for tennis?seriously . I paid $20 to get in and didnt get to use the shutdown areas and they dont seem to care. I've been to nicer clubs

Facilities are very good but some staff are really nasty. For decades, at the end of every year, they sent all members a free guest pass for up to 4 people. They said it was a holiday "gift" to members. I loved these, and saved them for special occasions when I was bringing a family. It was fine if I brought a 2012 ticket in 2013. But today, all of a sudden the front desk staff said I could not use my 2013 "gift" in 2016. Imagine if someone gave you a birthday present and later snatched it back from you. Nice facilities, just be prepared for occasional meanness.

I actually started looking @ The Edge online and was contacted by Omar. I was a little hesitant because initially I always feel intimidated about joining a gym. Instead of reaching out to Omar, I just popped in hoping I would catch him but he was out that day and I was met by Tim (I finally met Omar and he is great too!). I sat down with him we talked about the gym and the membership and he answered all my questions, so I joined that day. He set me up for an assessment and I told him I wasn’t interested in any PT and that I was mostly interested in the classes. My mind was made up and I think I told him they would just be wasting their time with me. He set me up for an appointment and I thought about canceling so I could avoid the sales pitch bc I wasn’t interested. I decided to go and was paired with Nicole Lass. To be honest, I really didn’t want to be there and didn’t realize I was going to go through a workout. I (begrudgingly) worked out with Nicole for about a half hour. While this is an exaggeration, I felt like I was going to die. When we were done Nicole asked if working out with a personal trainer was something I would be interested in. Not sure what I said to her but then she tagged that little Tim back in. While I was was contemplating about walking into the light to end my suffering, Tim talked about the benefits of PT. I asked a lot of questions and told Tim all of my concerns and ultimately signed up for 8 sessions of PT with Nicole. NIcole is AMAZING. She pushed me harder than I would push myself. She would cheer me on and encourage me. Sometimes she would show me an exercise and I would sometimes think I can’t do that and sometimes I would say it out loud but not wanting to let her down I would try. While there were one or two things I actually couldn’t do, I was often surprised of what I was actually capable of. My knees started bothering me after a couple of sessions and Nicole gave me so many workouts that didn’t hurt my knees. She took into consideration that I wasn’t completely comfortable working out in the main area, so we did a few sessions in the woman’s room. As I got more comfortable we took advantage of both areas. While I had all the workouts we did together, she also gave me other workouts I could do independently. I started seeing results almost immediately which was also incredibly motivating. The PT is extra but if you can find the cash somewhere it is HIGHLY recommended. Ask for Nicole and tell her Tracy sent you! I have never been a person who likes working out or going to the gym but I love this gym. I joined mid July and for the most part I go 6 days a week. The majority of the staff addresses me by name. Even though my sessions with Nicole have ended, she always says hello and genuinely takes an interest in how I am doing. She is still encouraging me and cheering me on. The classes are great. I love Zumba with Natalie, Jewely and Yanae. Another favorite is Bodypump with Marcia, Bridget and Caroline and I am also enjoying Body Combat with Alicia, Bridget teaches this too. Any issues that I have had, which there have only been two and my own fault, I have always spoken to Mitch and he always fixes things up for me. I also have to give a shout out to Shauna, who always greets me with a smile. I am dating myself for sure, but I feel like Norm from the show Cheers. If you are looking for a great gym, I highly recommend The Edge in Warrington.

Front desk employee Melissa was extremely rude and unprofessional to me the first day I stepped in to sign up. It took a while to get her attention as she was preoccupied on her phone and would not even give customers her undivided attention away from her cell phone and after not being helped and asking for a manager I was told by her that I can come back another day if I want to talk to a manager. I asked if there was a name for the manager or a card she told me no so I went and found another employee who went and gave me the name and number and card to the manager.

Planet fitness is a nice clean place but to many fat people sitting on machines, texting or playing games. They told me I can't have a gym bag on the floor. I train hard and have water in it, the drinking fountain is closed. A gym will show you results if while your there you train hard, play on your phone somewhere else

I enjoy coming here. They need more BEGINNER YOGA classes with Micki and more MEDITATION classes! Most of the classes are included with membership. The center is big so even when it is busy it is not crowded. The facility is beautiful and clean. The locker rooms are big, provide: hair products, dryers, styling tools, towels, toiletries, whirlpool, steam room, sauna, shower, vanities, swimsuits dryer. This makes it easy to go to the gym before work or an event. The lap pool and warm pool are clean. Everyone ,staff and customers, I have encountered have been helpful and kind. It is more on the expensive side but is 100% worth it for everything you get. If you are in a high stress career I highly recommend coming here multiple times a week for good self care and to relieve stress. The only complaint I would have is there seem to be a lot of things that go out of order like the steam room, coed whirlpool, locker room whirl pool and swim suit dryer are the things that have been out of order in the month I have joined, maybe this is a normal situation of a large fitness center that gets used frequently? They seem to be pretty on top of it though.

LCF has a great variety of equipment and amenities. The staff are all incredibly polite and helpful. The weight machines are kept clean and there are no long waits. As far as cardio goes you can swim, run on the indoor track, treadmill or hop on a spin bike, elliptical or row machine. There is also a basketball and a racquetball court as well. Afterwards you can reward yourself with the steam room, sauna and whirlpool.

like all fitness centers/gyms, you get out what you put in. unlike all others, this place has a great staff that will help you get more out of what you put in. this place has everything you need which makes it worth the higher price. but the real quality here is the people. great trainers, classes, massage, etc. it's really the knowledgeable, caring staff that sets this place apart and above all other places i've tried. you will never regret joining.

Incredible facilities, especially the pools and the tennis courts. The childcare is awesome, and the staff is extremely friendly. It is a bit pricey, but definitely worth it.

  • 5/5 Susan C. 10 years ago on Google
Good club, great tennis courts, huge gym area, b-ball court, several indoor/outdoor pools - one indoor pool adult only. Two small waterparks indoor and out - huge slides. Free childcare and a kids' activity center to rival any with huge brand new climbing structure. The rock climbing wall is one of my children's favorites. Outdoors can get crowded in summer so get in early but there are always loungers available in grassy areas, the poolside ones get taken pretty early. Indoor/outdoor cafés are good and women's lockers huge and modern, good showers. Like the towel service. Dislike: indoor courts too warm in summer, food prices are a bit steep but you can bring your own picnic for outdoors. Other than that it's a good value for families who use it often because you don't need to go anywhere else for a huge variety of activities. We pretty much live here for the summer and then use it fairly often during the other seasons.

They do have sign up fee plus the first 2 months fee upfront. The monthly family membership is more than most but you get more for you money. Life guarded pool times for kids, the child care, the play area kids over 8 do not have to be accompanied in the play area or if the pool is lifeguarded. In the summer time outdoor pool is life guarded. The facility is very clean staff is very courteous, and there have been times I have left my ipod on a machine even left my phone in locker room and it was returned to the desk. parking on site. I have tried the local YMCA which is less for a family membership but we went back to liberty they are more family friendly. I even checked into the local wellness center it is a nice facility but for a membership of 4 the monthly cost is not that much less and they are more restrictive on unaccompanied children.

We've just returned after a 5 year break, we had to join as new members. But the great thing is that 4 personal training sessions were included, a family pass for friends, a spa coupon for a free massage, and many others. I love the energy of the place and that there are people of ALL ages, babies to very seasoned, and everyone in the middle. I've started in the "oldies classes" with Joan and she is beyond inspirational and teaches so well, I always can follow, and she constantly reminds us of form and proper position. Our Personal Trainer, Brian, is also SO knowledgeable and we are learning the basics of proper posture and alignment, and how to use the machines correctly. All of our staff interactions have been kind and professional. The club is totally worth the fee and monthly cost, and you get so many classes from which to choose. So much better than spending the same fee for just one yoga class somewhere else. If I can't make one timeslot , there is another one I can do, or use my personal exercise plan. The physical property is well maintained and clean. The outdoor pools for laps and the other pool for kids are safe with life guards. Our kids loved hanging out and playing basketball. It was just great for them to be in a safe environment with no access to TVs, just physical playing. WELL WORTH THE COST!!!

Very nice facilities! The staff and owner are very friendly and helpful. We love the cafe and the pools too. The child care options are great too and add so much to the membership value. We really enjoy the club and it is perfect for families!

I hate this place. The membership is impossible to get out of. They haven’t handled COVID-19 procedures very cleanly. The place is disgusting. Machines fall apart. People walk around with their shoes off, pop pimples in the mirror, and strange men will run up to you to talk to you and the staff will not do anything about it. Their own employees will make remarks about your body and physical features. I’d rather go to planet fitness.

Everything is great, I've been working out in warrington for months and the gym is absolutely spotless. The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is because there are only 4 squat racks and I'm often waiting for one to open up for 10 minutes or so, and the music can get really loud. Other than that, it's great!

  • 4/5 Charlie S. 3 years ago on Google
Amazing gym, the music choice is not the best. Specially in the ladies lockers/restrooms. They should have, Top hits, Cardio music or something more motivational. I love rock, but not all the time and specially when I am about to workout.

My wife and I did training with Chelsea and are so thankful we did! Chelsea is tough and extremely knowledgeable! She always had a work out that pushed us and got us to the results we were looking for! Something we really enjoyed was Chelsea always seemed to come up with a fun team work out for my wife and I to push each other to do at the end of our training Session! I would highly recommend her!

I have been a member of many fitness clubs in the area and I must say Edge warrington is by far the best of the bunch. Their membership rates are extremely competitive and all of their equipment is brand new, top of the line! This easily puts Edge in the top tier compared to the other gyms in the area. From experience, other gyms I attended just try to sell you their PT program rather than approach you in a manor where they try to get to know you as a person and compliment your strengths rather than point out all your flaws.. My favorite part of my Edge experience is getting trained by one of their best - Sarah Shoemaker. Even though I never thought I would need to have a personal trainer, I went out of my comfort zone to take the free fitness assessment Sarah suggested and I was taken back by her knowledge and professionalism.. I felt so comfortable with her work ethic that I was ready to get started right away and now I train with her weekly! I would highly recommend this gym to anyone looking to improve their fitness and nutrition! Thank you again Sarah for the drive & motivation!

  • 5/5 Timothy D. 3 years ago on Google
I joined the Edge three months ago in order to get into better shape since I have been stuck inside due to COVID-19. I had my free personal training assessment with Chelsea right after I joined and I decided to move forward with it. Chelsea is my personal trainer and she goes above and beyond for me to keep me honest with my dieting along with ensuring I get to the gym to build on what we have worked on during the hour sessions. It is clear she really cares about her clients and wants them to succeed. Everyone has different fitness goals and Chelsea incorporates them into the workouts. I can definitely see positive results and we are only three months in. I am truly happy with my decision to sign up for personal training at The Edge Fitness Club.

I was nervous when I joined this gym and felt very intimidated but when I met Chelsea for personal training, all that was put aside. Her professionalism and caring for others and their goals and accomplishments goes above and beyond. You realize you have a good friend looking out for your best interests. I highly recommend Edge and Chelsea. I cant say enough good stuff!!!!

Love this gym!!!! Very clean, friendly staff and amazing trainers. I’ve been training with Chelsea Andres for almost a year now. She’s done an amazing job at pushing me to do things I never thought I could and helping me overcome my fears. I now realize my goals are achievable and have learned a valuable lesson in nutrition.

gym is constantly overcrowded with teenagers, not enough equipment or locations to handle the amount of members. They are not operating at reduced capacity and do not enforce mask policy. Even the fitness manager on duty wears mask with exposed nose. Staff is rude.

  • 2/5 Fernando A. 3 years ago on Google
The gym is itself is ok the sales people are dishonest. Thay tald me i could canal at any time but when i went to cancel my membership because i moved 14 miles away from the gym i found out the it had to be 15 or in my township it has to be 25 mils away, which is ridiculous someone will never travel that far away to go to a gym, and no-one with a job let alone with 5 kids like me. So the lack of honesty and consideration for their customers. Are not so good. Dose not mater how clean or how much new equipment you have if you lie and scam people into contracts, they don't make sense not only that but have sales people that deceive would not recommend going to the gym.

Another of the great Edge Fitness Centers in the Philadelphia area. The trainer who handled my call about updated protocols was extremely pleasant, professional and helpful!

  • 5/5 Bryan P. 3 years ago on Google
I have to rate this edge a 5/5. Originally i am a member of the Philadelphia location but once the gyms opened up post covid i gave this location a shot. When I first came in i had very little motivation, i was just going through the motions. That all changed after Sarah shoemaker (personal trainer) gave me a fitness assessment. I always thought of myself as being in decent shape, i know how to build my muscles but i definitely was lacking discipline and flexibility. My core was completely off, just everything about core and functional training was off. I’ve since been working with Sarah for 3 weeks, my body fat has drastically dropped, my core has gotten tighter and best of all i have the motivation and drive that seemed lost and forgotten. I highly advise anyone reading this to checkout their personal training staff. They’re all kind and friendly and always accommodating. Thank you Sarah shoemaker

So I was went to see how this new social distancing looks like and let me tell you I would definitely hesitate to work out in such strange conditions Firstly carrying a heavy bottle in the first place is obstacle, than wearing mask while exercising for example running is beyond inconvenient, you can easily exercise outside without strange and inconvenient rules and worrying who might exercise next to you.
