I have been coming to the Prairie Athletic Club since 1998 and I must say it's always been a big part of my childhood. I have seen a lot of change over the years all of them amazing! :) I highly recommend at least trying this place as a guest, chances are you know somebody with a membership here. The staff has always treated me kindly and if I have an issue I know I can trust them to resolve it. Lots of activities and leagues to join too. It's more then just a gym it's a central part of the community spanning 40 years and constantly improving :)

Super clean, well maintained, food is extremely good and staff is all hands on deck all year round. Covid or no covid it’s always top notch.

I love everything about PAC! Clean, updated and the staff is wonderful. It is an awesome place for family fun, get in shape 🏋️‍♀️ take some classes and relieve stress. The outdoor pool is awesome for kiddos and adults. ⭐️Highly recommend⭐️

The gym is great the equipment is rather well maintained and the staff is nice! Very expensive as a downside but where else is there to go aside from Madison?🤷🏾‍♀️

I've been going here with my family for about 5 years now. They are always growing and improving their programs and facilities. The staff has always been friendly and well trained, they treat you as if you are family. Prairie Athletic Club, is one of the biggest reasons we fell in love with Sun Prairie! I'm thankful to be a part of such a great club.

Not a member, but wish I was! My family comes to the Madison area multiple times a year for medical appointments and sometimes just a road trip. We see this place from the highway all the time and today we decided to stop. So glad we did! The water park is amazing and so great for little and big kids. They are well staffed with lifeguards and all areas are enclosed with fencing and safety seems to be top priority. My 10-year-old said it was one of the highlights of her summer. Can’t wait to visit again!

I have been going to this facility since 1986, and everyone there does outstanding work in helping to build a healthy, strong community!

It's a great gym with a lot going on. Classes of every type, nice pools, and very involved in the community. My only complaint is that for the very, very high prices they charge the facility is very dated. There are sections that are nice and updated but other places like the lap pool looks straight out of an old high school. For their prices I expect a better quality facility, but I will hand it to them that their classes and variety are second to none.

I love this place. Good variety of things to do. Nice indoor and outdoor pools, basketball courts, nice workout equipment too. Staff are friendly also!

My wife and I had a very poor experience with the party planning for our 8 year old's birthday party. Overall lack of communication, lack of organization and they even forgot the gift bags for our guests. We tried following up several times with emails and never received a response. I would not book or recommend the party planning again.

Huge facility with everything you could want. Free weights, pools, loads of cardio equipment, racquetball, basketball and big outdoor pools. Staff is always friendly and there are dozens of group classes available. Best gym in the Madison area!

PAC has been a staple in Sun Prairie since the mid 70s. I joined on a month to month basis since I live in Houston and this state of the art athletic club will NOT disappoint!

We love the Prairie Athletic Club! Because of covid we hadn't been there in 14 months, and we were pleasantly surprised to see the renovations that have been done. It's a great place to work out, take classes, or meet friends for a meal or a drink.

Really nice and large athletic club with fun fitness for all ages. Trying out a week for free but pretty convinced to join. So far I've used the treadmill and did a body pump class. Looking forward to exploring more.

It’s a well organized family gym, pool. Outdoor pool is awesome. Indoor pools, walking track, basketball court, soccer fields are very good. Safe and clean environment. Drinks & food are tasty & fresh. Friendly staff. Very good for summer jobs as well for teenagers. Quick enrollment & many membership options are available. Many changing rooms & showering facilities. Gym instructors are available. Many classes are conducted like yoga, hot yoga etc.

Great gym, excellent staff and customer service. Our family enjoys the summers outside at Dolphins Cove. They have a wide variety of drinks for the adults and great food options for the kids. Highly recommend joining this gym!

I had a bad experience at the pac because one of the workers called me and said one of my kids got banned for just playing fighting in the basketball court

Owners, amazing! Great place for kids, especially in the summer at the pool (adults too... 👋 bloody Sundays!) Kid activities are great! CrossFit, amazing! Coaches, amazing! We have been to a few different gyms (CrossFit) and they are decent but this one is amazing! Best hours, best prices, best amenities!

I've never had a gym membership before so I was so anxious about going after joining online. I've been to a few different classes now and all of the instructors and staff have been helpful and have made me feel comfortable even though I have no clue what I'm doing. Took my family to dolphins cove this past weekend as a non- member. The gentleman working at the desk was AWESOME, this man deserves a raise! I think his name tag said Row? Anyway, it was really busy that day but he had such a cheerful and welcoming attitude, and took the time to show us around. I had an issue paying on the website and he was right on top of it and was familiar with the situation as soon as we came in. He even let us request a song since apparently he mans the jukebox. And the outdoor pool/waterpark area was great!

I have the opportunity to train in athletic clubs all over, Prairie Athletic Club is one of the best I have ever been in. Spacious, comfortable and accommodating. State of the art equipment- Matrix and Hammer Strength!

PAC is amazing!! It's truly the best gym I have been to. Very family friendly and also brand new, top of the line equipment. The outdoor water park is unreal. What a special gem.

There is barely any places to play badminton in the Madison area. So I was thrilled to see "open badminton 7:30-9:30" listed on there website. And just so you know this place is a 40 min drive. So it's the day before I went (December 28th) and I called just to get verification that there is badminton tomorrow at 7:30-9:30. And that's what the person agreed with. So today comes(December 29th) and I really wanted to make sure this is happening so I called around 10:00am to double check thats it's all good for tonight. And they did again tell me it's all good tonight. And that we" can come in and the court will be open and ready to play badminton". So after that my friend and I were all ready to go play badninton.but when we arrived we got a diffrent story. That the " court is all full of people playing basketball and that you will not be playing tonight". I kept calm, said okay and left. So this pretty much ruined my night and I wasted tons of money in gas. This shows how un organised they are and unconsiderate they are to others. This is terrible that they post this stuff on there website but they don't actually do it. And if there is a problem maybe you could post a notice on your website that it won't be happening? And maybe update your employees on what's happening. So they don't tell people false information. So please Sun Prairie Athletic Club, get your stuff together so you don't ruin people's plans. And please reply to this!

A nice place to go for a couple of hours with the family. All the slides are pretty tame, and there aren't a lot of them, so the target demographic is definitely younger kids, but for what it is, it's good.

Great gym, great staff. Lost a star because way too many members are not held accountable for improper footwear and not putting equipment back. The lack of accountability drives me insane! Classes are fun, really like the spin classes. Equipment is updated routinely but they have basic equipment- nothing really for serious lifters or powerlifters. Early morning crew and teenagers like to monopolize equipment, but that is any gym. Best family friendly gym in WI!

The sheer size and all the different sports elements are simply amazing! From weight lighting to squash to soccer to basketball to swimming pools to saunas and so much more. If you live near or around this club, you need to get yourself a membership. It's an fantastic place for the whole family to enjoy.... especially in Wisconsin winters.

Great place that has it all. From the coaches to the restaurant staff, we’ve always had a fun time here and my kids love it!

Best workout environment I've ever experienced. Great community to be around and I love the coffee shop Bob and Vels within the gym. Always a friendly crew working and great people.

Getting back to the PAC been along time with Covid and working 9n being safe. PAC has done more updates nice place to go and work out.

Amazing facility that offers something for everyone. The reinvest back into the club continually and it shows.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Great layout (everything seems spread enough apart that it makes it easier to workout bcuz there aren't many people gawking at how weak I am). Love all the options for working out as well. Especially the bball courts.

We are non-members, but decided to do our daughter's 8th B-Day party there. We were able to change the "typical" party schedule and remove the gym time since these little girls truly wanted to spend most of their time swimming. The person we worked with to coordinate the party time/details was responsive. The only unfortunate thing is that they don't have an online party reservation system so you can't see what's available real-time. The party went well and the kids had fun, so I’d say it was a success. We would definitely do it again.

Great facility! We had our daughter’s 7 year’s birthday pool party at PAC. Such a great service they provided! Staff is very responsive, respectful and friendly. We ordered vegetarian food and everything was delicious :) Thanks PAC and all the employees! We are proud member of PAC!!!!!!

Excellent selection of group classes, private coaching for personal fitness and an excellent group of massage therapists. I have used the pool in the winter and the outdoor summer pool. There are so many things to choose from. I have been a member for 5 years.

A very friendly club, where the owners are present and visible and the staff is friendly and many of the staff and all you by name.

Absolutely amazing place just need it to be built in Oklahoma.

It may own the square feet they claim, but 80% is unkept lawns, sticker bushes all over, but there is 2 pots before the main entrance. There is a parking lot the size for Lollapalooza 2021.I am pretty sure I have a disease bc I looked at the pool. The pics on this site are, well I'm guessing, 38 years ago. I know the "Water Park" for sure out dates me and I am older than they have been in business. Keep in mind crowd sourced is other ppls opinions and no one other than vain ppl post reviews, or they are getting something, forced, or never been to a decent Health Club. I am not saying the 24 hr chains in strip malls are inferior in any way. If you read this far... This area has money. SOMEONE BUILD A HEALTH CLUB CLOSE, AT LEAST IN WI, BECAUSE THIS HAS SO MUCH POTENTIAL, IF UPDATED 40 YRS AGO AND NOT ADDED THE PARKING LOT WHICH MAKES UP 90% OF THE CLAIMED SQ FOOTAGE. I'D EVEN GIVE THAT TO THIS REVIEW IF THE MASSIVE WASTED SPACE CLEANED AS A PARKING LOT THAT COULD BE AN ENTIRE CONCERT VENUE WAS EVEN A TENTH FULL... EVER.. THAT WAS MY MAIN CONCERN.. NO ONE IS HERE.. EVER. OKAY, ILL GIVE THEM AN ESTIMATED 15 SQ FT bc they have it had 1/4 the parking lot.blocked off for that sad area due to COVID-19. I wish we had something decent here.

I go here a lot, and it has a large variety of options of things to do including, soccer, basketball, volleyball, badminton, racquetball, track, swimming, a variety of workout equipment, and more. There is also a restaurant within the Prairie Athletic Club that serves great food and is a great place to hang out and maybe watch some sports on the TV. The Prairie Athletic Club is also a great place to hangout with friends and the staff is very nice.

I go there for summer camp and it’s amazing 😉

Fantastic staff and variety of group fitness classes. Something for everyone in the family. Highly recommend.

Staff is friendly and I can see having a family plan and using the pool area, basketball, soccer, etc if you have small children. Otherwise I hope you enjoy battling over equipment and dealing with kids running around unsupervised. Just getting in the parking lot can be a chore. I have flat out stopped going during busy hours because it just isnt worth the hassel. I live to close to go anywhere else or I would without hesitating.
