I
am
reviewing
the
RAC
from
the
perspective
of
someone
focused
mainly
on
strength
training.
Locker
rooms:
Very
nice
and
high
quality
overall.
Good
shampoo,
conditioner,
and
body
wash.
Towels
are
always
warm
and
clean.
Generally
the
area
is
very
clean,
only
complaint
is
the
dirty
water
on
the
floor
near
the
hot
tub.
Maybe
an
occasional
squegee?
I
love
the
steam
room
and
sauna,
both
are
very
relaxing
after
a
long
workout.
I
wouldn't
use
the
hot
tub
in
the
locker
room
personally.
Lots
of
people
just
jump
in
naked
after
working
out
without
showering
off
first.
Gross.
One
last
suggestion,
maybe
add
TVs?
Planet
fitness
has
them,
priced
at
$20
monthly.
Equipment:
I
can
generally
always
get
a
bench
press
or
squat
rack
instantly,
or
within
3
mins
max.
I
workout
generally
around
4-5
pm
too
so
it's
busy.
Some
of
the
machines
I
do
like,
for
example
the
hoist
lateral
raise,
and
hoist
mid
row
machines
are
great.
But
other
machines
that
are
basically
essentials
in
any
gym
priced
over
$60
a
month
are
missing.
There's
no
preacher
curl
machine,
no
standing
side
lateral
raise
machine,
no
hack
squat,
no
platforms
for
Olympic
lifts,
etc.
For
$100
a
month
I
expected
more.
Iron
Physique
has
much
more
specialized
equipment
for
less
than
half
the
cost
monthly.
Other
amenities:
Basketball
courts
are
usually
always
crowded
and
taken
up
by
games
unless
you
go
at
an
off
time.
Difficult
to
find
an
open
hoop
to
shoot
around
in
the
afternoon
or
evening.
Swimming
pool
is
nice,
but
not
very
deep.
Tennis
costs
extra
too
fyi.
It
should
be
free
for
members
after
6
pm
or
something,
considering
the
$100
a
month.
The
one
thing
that
would
make
the
membership
fee
worth
it
was
if
you
really
utilized
the
group
classes
available
for
sign
up.
Personally
I
prefer
to
weight
train
solo.
Conclusion:
If
you
don't
plan
on
doing
lots
of
group
classes,
you
can
get
much
more
value
for
you
money
at
other
gyms
in
my
opinion.
