Prior to Covid, I would have given a 5 star. From the minute you walk in, you’ll see posters and signage everywhere saying masks are mandatory. You’ll hear over the intercom to wear a mask and social distance. Now a huge billboard on the highway with a lady wearing a mask? I couldn’t stop laughing when I saw that. There might be 5 people, max, out of every 100 that wear a mask covering the mouth and nose the entire visit. You’re either all in or not. The club handing out bath towels vs taking them off a big counter doesn’t do a single thing to prevent spreading Covid, wearing a mask does. It is nice there is a designated I mask required workout area. It’s not monitored by the staff, so you have to either ask the desk person to tell people to wear a mask or to pull mask up to cover the nose, or you can tell them yourself. Since there is no mask requirement or enforcement, besides a designated area, why not take ALL the signs down, stop playing the recording and don’t advertise on a huge billboard so it appears people wear masks here. To be honest, the signage overload about masks, then no enforcement, does make me question if other cleaning type things get done that were promoted. Social distancing is not a problem, because the club is so big. I wear a mask my entire visit and wipe down equipment, so I feel 100% comfortable that I’ll be safe.

I had been a member here for almost 10 years when I cancelled it during the pandemic. I didn’t know it would be so difficult to get a membership again… they don’t offer online sign up online like lifetime or VASA. You also have sign up in person; Monday-Thursday 8-6…. So very difficult to accomplish for the working person. I got a lifetime membership instead because their facilities are a lot nicer than Princeton, there is no guest fees at lifetime, huge outdoor pool with great food and I personally think the community is more inviting. Lifetime memberships are only 15$ more

Extremely rude staff, two of my friends are members here at the Princeton Club and every time they create guest forms for my friends and I in order to get inside. Upon arrival the staff immediately accuses us of “trying to sneak in” as we were approaching the desk to pay the $20 guest fees. After explaining that we are previous guests and have paid in the past and were just trying to approach the desk they refused to listen to us and stated that my friend “tried to sneak behind” someone in order to get past. We were also threatened with a police call for “trespassing” if we did not leave considering we were just trying to pay our guest fees as normal. One of the staff members even refused to give me his name in order to make a proper complaint to his manager. Unbelievable.

The most disrespectful costumer service I ever had from Kennedy. You expect better costumer service from a private club where people pay good money to relax not to be Racist and disrespectful

If you sign up here, you have to be willing to commit. I moved closer to my work, and my commute here is 45+ minutes depending on traffic, emailed and met with membership services, Never got a response from their general manager. Honestly am really disappointed in this service.

I've been a member of the Princeton Club for about four years. I work out there often (at least 5 days a week). While I want to provide an overwhelmingly positive review, I cannot do so without being honest in my assessment of the club as a whole. The Good: - For the most part the gym has a nice variety of equipment. This applies to cardio equipment (stair climbers, treadmills, ellipticals, bikes, and even rowing machines), free weights, dumbbells, and fitness equipment (i.e. lat pull down station, abdominal cruncher machine, etc.) -Running Track -Although I don't participate in them, there is a nice selection of fitness classes for folks interested in them -Indoor pool -Outdoor pool is a very nice way to spend a few hours on a hot summer day. It can get very crowded, very quickly, but that is to be expected when you offer something so nice. -Towels and a cleaning spray bottle and cleaning towel are provided to all members who come to the club. I think the spray bottle and cleaning towel should be mandatory (I thought this well before COVID) for those using any weightlifting equipment or cardio machines. -Tennis courts -Basketball courts -Massage guns -Numerous parking spaces -Nice sized lockers with no availability concerns. You can always get a locker. -While I have seen reviews to the contrary, I think it is wonderful that the club opened up relatively early shortly after the COVID pandemic hit. Some folks have voiced issues about people not wearing masks. I think the club put its best foot forward in this case, and should not have to resort to policing mask use. If a member is uncomfortable going to club because of this, I believe they could have paused their membership. I think this was more than fair. The Bad: -The basketball courts can at times be a source of disruption. There have been a few incidents in the past where fights have broken out. Not a good look. Further, I have seen Subway wrappers and garbage left behind on the basketball court area on numerous occasions. It is not always clean. -While there is a nice variety of fitness equipment, a significant portion of them could be upgraded. My estimate is about 25 percent of them. They are old and some break down rather frequently. The prevailing perception from myself and a few other members is that there is much more focus and investment in the outdoor pool area than there is toward equipment on the gym floor. -The dumbbells go from 2.5 lbs to 120 lbs. This is a solid range, however, there is only one set of dumbbells for any weight higher than 50 lbs. -While the fitness classes are a very nice perk, in particular the variety, oftentimes the music and/microphone of the instructor is turned up high enough that you can hear it through your ear buds or headphones on the other side of the club. -Staff courtesy - While much of the staff is courteous and listens to their members, too many are not. -Cleanliness - This is where the club has slipped considerably. it is a daily occurrence to see the following strewn about the club floor: water bottles, towels, cans of energy drinks, used rags, used towels spray bottles, etc. I have seen instances in which a can of Monster Energy Drink was on the same spot on the gym floor for five days before it was disposed of. Another big problem are the small percentage of inconsiderate members who don't rerack their weights, don't put their dumbbells back where they found them, don't put attachments back where the found them, leave plates on the gym floor, etc. (a few examples from just today are attached) Members who respect the club and the other members they share the club with should not have to clean up after the members that don't. This has been brought up to the staff by myself and other members on a few occasions and our ideas (putting up signs, being more present on the club floor to observe this behavior and correct it, and reviewing video tape during problem times to see who's doing this) don't seem to be taken at all seriously by staff.

Let's call a spade a spade , it's 2022 we live in a subscription based society, long term contracts at gyms do not increase business or sales. In fact it drives people away, specifically kids of single parents and lower income homes and of course minorities. You have to wonder why a gym which is a business wants to make less money? Businesses can't discriminate but we need a word for the policy's they in act that are passively racist. Change you policy's and get with the times , I want to switch from lifetime to Princeton for the 24 hour access but I can't support a business that operates that way wrong is wrong

I've been a member for a long time and my experience is mostly positive! Pros- I love the classes, the instructors are great! They are both motivating and welcoming and I push myself more because of it. The variety of equipment/areas is great. It's got a good family friendly atmosphere and the pool amenities are great. Cons- locked in contract (sometimes financial situations change). Difficult and pricey guest past policy. Having to pre-register for classes. Tanning is expensive on top of an already pricey membership.

I visited the Princeton Club with friends this past weekend (September 23, 2023). I was swimming in the kids pool with my two kids (7 and 9, good swimmers). I like to wear goggles underwater and I saw two brown clumps floating along the pool floor. I got closer until I confirmed it was definitely poop, and little bits of it were breaking off and floating away. I immediately told the closest lifeguard who didn’t know what to do about it. I left that pool with my kids and we swam in the lap pool for a while. I assumed they removed the poop. The kids wanted to go down the slide again, and although I wasn’t thrilled about them being in the water where the poop had been, I didn’t want to upset them either. Also I figured chlorine was pretty strong, based on how my eyes were burning. So we went down the slide and while I was underwater I saw the poop again. Jesus, take the wheel. I got my kids out immediately and we headed out to shower. On my way out, I stopped by the supervisors office where one guy was just kicking back listening to his headphones, and told them that the poop was still in the pool. One dude tried to say that I must be confused, it’s just rust. I told him that I’m a biologist and I know poop from rust (it’s true; I literally studied poop for my masters). He then acted like I was just a huge Karen for making him do his job. I had been considering joining the club before this interaction; we live nearby and my family loves swimming. Not after how cavalier the staff is about a biological threat to the health of their guests. Disgusting.

This gym fails at inspiring and supporting teens in the beginning stage of a healthy active lifestyle. After years of encouraging, my kids are finally showing interest in exercising and they feel discouraged when coming to this gym. The rules are always changing depending on which staff you speak to and with the exception of a couple at the front desk, I don’t see staff making any attempt in engagement and making them feel welcomed. A simple smile or acknowledge to young adults or anyone for that matter goes a long way. It’s not common sense that these teens in the gym are your future members and my teens have already expressed no desire in continuing their membership. When or if they can utilize the kids area gym changes, when or if they can utilize the outdoor tennis area changes. They were watched by staff when using the basketball court. If the basketball court is to only be utilized for basketball only, then make that clear and that rule should apply to all including those that use it for classes.

Been going to Princeton for a looooong time. Totally love it! Very clean, friendly staff and it's always easy to find equipment to work out on. The indoor pool area is great. (Haven't been to the outside pool) It can get a little tight in the locker room... but it always seems to work out. Showers are always clean.

Amazing gym! They have everything you would ever need in one building. Very clean, something I always look for. Brian, in member services is kind, patient, and very knowledgeable. I also frequent the Subway inside. Emma is always pleasant and makes good suggestions for when I don't know what to try. Every time I go in there she is working hard, making orders, showing her coworkers the correct way to do things, or cleaning. Her dedication is something you don't see very often in this younger generation. I would recommend the Princeton Club to all my friends and family.

I loved the Princeton Club and would like to give it 5 stars for the classes they offer, locations and great amenities but recently I’ve ran into issues with their customer service from behind the scenes that gives them 1 for me. All they seem to care about is money. After moving into a new apartment that has a gym included I contacted Princeton about cancelling my membership and was told I could only do so if I moved more than 40 miles from the nearest club and paying $200. Very disappointed as I now have a gym membership going to waste. It’s just not as convenient as having one in my apartment building. No wonder 63% of gym memberships don’t get used. It’s because they pull this kind of stuff on you. Very disappointed and will not be coming back even after I move to a new location that doesn’t have a gym.

How can it be a health club when they don’t enforce good health? Over half the people there do not wear a mask during a pandemic? I’m confused. I just biked next to a woman coughing repeatedly without a mask! Got off bike and didn’t wipe down. I’ll be taking my business to Lifetime after this contract ends. Filthy!

I like they are opening for 24 hrs. But some machines& equipments are too old and needed to replace it ( blow dryers in women's locker room are also useless). The most thing I don't like in here is using some equipments and rooms are very limited. For example, we need to give our locker key to front desk to borrow resistance band. And we can't use punching bag freely since the studio is always locked except for class. The free classes are limited and barely changed so that there is no chance to challenge new exercises.

I’ve been a member for years, and I especially love the tennis activities. The gym itself is alright. The staff is usually nice, though some of the personal trainers and front desk workers are simply awful. I also think that the tennis courts are overpriced for members, and have had numerous negative experiences with getting kicked off of courts even after paying. Occasionally, staff is extra rude to children. Overall, this is a good facility, but one that definitely needs improvement. I would recommend that staff behave more kindly to regular members.

Visiting from out of town. I walk in and tell them my situation and offer to pay money for a week membership or whatever I need to work out. They said I needed to sign a waiver and sign up four hours in advance before working out…? I get waivers and safety but I should be able to do that when I walk in the gym… it shouldn’t be a four hour process. What a joke.

Do not, purchase a membership if your goal is exclusively to use the gym equipment. I like the Princeton club. I think it's a good value considering all of the amenities. BUT, this place feels more like a chuck'e'cheese than a fitness center. The amount of unsupervised children running around on heavy gym equipment with their parents nowhere to be found, well, I would be embarrassed as the business owner. The fact an accident hasn't happened is a miracle. Of the kids/teens that do use the equipment for workouts, you can't go more than one visit without having to hear someone shouting about it across the whole facility, that's just... Trashy. I'm cool with it, but for the highest price in the area?? Might as well get a membership at xperience or planet.

This is a very nice club with lots of excellent facilities, which i rejoined after some years away. One main thing is different though- a high percentage of the time there is lots of loud yelling from the basketball courts that can be heard throughout the gym- for me this renewal will be for one year only, since there are a lot of other clubs in the area where you can get a good workout in relative peace- while enjoying the music in the club. All the screaming, which is nearly continuous throughout every evening until late, pretty much ruins any music that is playing throughout the club. I wish there was some way they could address this, but it is obvious that no attempt is being made to do anything about this.

Staff and members are friendly. Since I've joined almost two years ago, I have had nothing but positive experiences. Equipment and the facility are very well taken care of. I have met so many great people and instructors. My children LOVE the pool and the kids' club/gym. We will indeed continue our membership once it's up.

As much as I'd love to give a solid 5 stars for general cleanliness and staff friendliness, there is a certain lack of accountability for the members that makes coming here a chore. - I love using the track, especially when it's really cold and icy outside or super humid and hot - it's not enjoyable when there are groups of 3-5 people clogging it up and getting fussy when I (by myself) have the audacity to go for more than a leisurely stroll. I shouldn't have to shoulder-check meemaw and the other golden girls to get a decent a run in that isn't a on a treadmill. - Some members just leave their mess around for others to deal with. Some leave puddles of sweat on the machines and don't wipe them off. - During the summer, unattended kids (younger than 13), are just... wandering around? Nothing is more off-putting than some random kid to be staring at me while I try to exercise.

My family and I love Princeton Club!! We joined about a month ago beacuse I needed somewhere to work out that has child care. I have 2 daughters age 3 and 8 and they really enjoy going to the child care. The staff are all very friendly. There is always a lot of open equipment even when it's busy. Also, the pool area is amazing!!

I love this gym. We have been to a few different gyms over the years, and none have felt this much like home as the Princeton Club does for us! This is the first gym that my wife and I have actually WANTED to go back to weekly, even daily! We love the child care, the overall gym floor, the walking track, the pools! Everything! We even took our first beginner's kickboxing class together, and had the greatest time in it! I also enjoy using the Princeton Club phone app for gym challenges, setting myself goals, and looking up classes. I would highly recommend checking out the Princeton Club if you are searching for your gym home.

There are many gyms, but this gym is MINE! With the help of amazing trainers, classes and friends I lost almost 100lbs, however I did gain some of that back.... but it was in MUSCLE. I cant say enough good things about the staff and members. My 2 young kids have been doing tennis lessons since they were 4, and were able to beat me by age 5!.. My husband power lifts here, and my kids also have their own personal trainer to help with balance and core and strength! Come get a day pass, I promise it will turn into a membership, and not just a membership card to store in your wallet .... one you will actually USE!

The Princeton Club in New Berlin , WI is gorgeous! Please make sure to ask about possible discounts. It is an excellent deal and there is a wide variety of activities for everyone. Retired Green Bay Packer star Donald Driver visited here for a special event. The basketball and tennis courts are awesome along with the swimming pools with a water slide. There is a great track for running and walking and very good weight and exercise machines. In addition, there is a restaurant and gift shop too. The Princeton club has several locations in Madison and has won multiple awards. When I visit Wisconsin, I look forward to a guess pass here. The Princeton Club is my favorite work-out facility!

Our family loves the Princeton Club! Our children both take tennis and swim lessons, I participate in group classes and individual training and absolutely love my trainer Tyler. I think all clubs deal with machines being packed or needing a little work yet with the amount of equipment they have it’s easy enough to find an alternative if needed. The club is always nearly clean (I wish others members were a little more tidy). The only thing I wish was that the family locker room had more space. We are in there obviously because we have a lot of stuff because we have our children with, and the lockers and just not big enough.

I've been a member on and off for more than 4 years, as well as I was a member when this club first opened under a different name. The club has a very welcoming atmosphere, nice amenities, and is overall a very good facility. As someone who used to feel "gymtimidation," I've found that for the most part everyone is very welcoming here. I've previously taken their yoga and TRX classes, and enjoyed them when I used to have time to do so. I hope to be able to get back to those at some point. Thank you for offering a great facility to the community and working with me throughout the years.

Wonderful gym, and the pool area is truly spectacular and worth every penny of my membership dues for that alone. I've been in a lot of gyms over my life, both as a visitor and a member, and this one is my favorite. They even have an indoor track, which I've seldom seen except in college gyms. The place is filled with light from the huge windows, parking is plentiful, and the locker rooms are spacious. It's really a great place to work out and I have a hard time coming up with any negatives. Oh sure, the music is at least a generation too young for me (maybe two at times...) But I once heard someone at another gym complaining to the manager about the music, and the response was "If you're paying attention to the music, you're not working out hard enough!" So, yeah, there's that... :-)

Great facility, friendly staff. Plenty of equipment and the outdoor pool is awesome. Just wish there was a discount for long term customers.

The friendly people at the front desk make you feel welcome the minute you walk in the door. The club is always clean and they have top of the line new equipment. The instructors for group exercise classes are great and work hard at making the classes interesting and challenging.

Love going here. It has everything you would want and need in the way of fitness. Class instructors and variety of classes are top notch. Very clean facility and staff are friendly and helpful

Princeton Club offers a lot of amenities. The location is convenient for us and they offer a good variety of free group exercise classes which I utilize several times a week. However, it would be great if there were more variety of strength training classes early in the morning, specifically Mon, Wed, and Fri. I get it that it’s early, but for us early risers and people who work during the day, it would be nice. I’ve had a lot of issues with the spin bikes that I’ve let the instructors know about multiple times before it gets fixed. It seems they are not maintained very well.

Our family loves the Princeton Club in New Berlin! The kids have so much fun in the Kids Club while we workout. We enjoy taking them to the outdoor pool on nice weather days and the indoor pool when they are getting antsy on not-so-nice weather days. I really enjoy the group classes and the awesome instructors make me actually want to workout! Such a great place for families to have fun and stay healthy together!

We have been members for almost 15 years. I love the classes and am motivated to show up and get a work-out in when I take a class. My kids use the free weights, machines, basketball court and track often. It’s a great place to keep busy especially during the winter months. Prices are a little steep, but they really do have a lot to offer.

Have been going to the Princeton Club for just about two years. It is really the best gym I've been to. Group classes are awesome. Amenities are top notch, and have loads of activities for kids as well. Lots of options for all different levels of fitness.

Princeton Club is the best place for athletes to do their out-of-season training. Spacious areas for lifting weights and doing cardio allows me to get my workouts in rain or shine, at any time of day (open 24/7). With newly renovated areas in the club, PC is a beautiful place with all the new technology. My personal favorite thing to do is to take the Spin classes offered. Great workout and great community.

Cleanest gym I've ever been in! Every staff member is WONDERFUL and so helpful! LOVE the outdoor pool, pool bar and of course the indoor pool! Perfect gym for kids because of the pool and daycare resources. They also go above and beyond with kids activities like Santa Breakfast, Easter Bunny Breakfast, etc.

I’ve always said Princeton Club was my dream club. Six years ago I took the plunge and joined. Everyone that knows me…knows I love to work out. I love the classes and the instructors! The fabulous outdoor pool makes me feel like I’m at a resort on vacation. The whirlpool is amazing after a work out. The staff and the members are the friendliest. I love going there.

Membership at The Princeton Club is an investment in yourself…it can be pricey without the hubris. People from all walks of life are welcome here. They do a solid job by consistently striving to maintain optimal cleanliness as well as making necessary improvements/upgrades. There’s a variety of excellent trainers; tennis staff/facilities are exemplary in addition to superb indoor/outdoor pools and their lifeguards are really courteous. Frequently, creative event opportunities are on the calendar for families to participate in. The Princeton Club also keeps itself visible in New Berlin through robust community engagement.

I've been a member of the PC since 2017, and I love going to this gym. I am partially biased since I live across the street from it so ease of access is a huge plus. I love that they keep making timely renovations. They recently demolished the racquetball courts to install a new turf area with more squat machines and other equipment which was a huge plus. I like to play basketball every once in a while also and PC has amazing courts. Their aquatic center is really nice too both for adults as well as children.

Great gym! The staff is so friendly! So many great classes and programs to take advantage of as well. I like that the instructors take the time to get to know the regular attendees of their classes but still treat the newbies in a welcoming way. Makes trying classes for the first time less intimidating. Makes for a very encouraging atmosphere!

I've been coming to this gym since 2014 and still love it! Very clean, the kids club is the best, the pool is great, large selection of free classes, and the other members make it feel like family. I just love it!

I love Princeton club! I’ve been a member of 5 gyms in my life, and Princeton club is by far the best. It’s very clean, equipment is properly maintained, the class schedule is phenomenal, and there is a ton of variety when it comes to things to do. The pool is very nice too! My kids love the water playground and the outdoor pool.

I have been a member of Princeton Club for many many years. I mainly use the pool area. Most pools feel like dungeons but Princeton Club’s pool area has an abundance of large windows that lets in lots of natural light and makes me want to swim! The outdoor pool is a great treat in the summer and never feels overly crowded.

Great big gym. Unfortunately because of my spine issues I can’t do as much exercising as I’d like to and don’t get there as much as would like to- so kind of expensive for myself considering what I can use. But nice pool and they have great amenities.

I love how clean the princeton club is and how nice the staff are! I wish they were more flexible with guest passes and their policies regarding that. They upgraded machines and are great! I also do not like having to locked into my membership, I wish they had more reasonable prices when it comes to that. Other than that, this is a great place and people are really nice including other members.

Our family loves The Princeton Club! It’s unique because there really is something for every age. I’ve been able to do training and work with a nutritionist while my husband enjoys the weight area and group fitness classes. The outdoor pool in the summer is great as well! Most of all, the staff is friendly, supportive, and responsive.

I've been a member here since 2008 and have really enjoyed being here. They have made a lot of improvements in the aesthetics over the years and have really invested in the equipment they offer members. The equipment is all in good shape and is well maintained. There are so many ways for someone to be active here between the exercise equipment, indoor outdoor pool, tennis courts, basketball courts and classes.

Even on a busy day, there was lots of room. Loved swimming laps in the outdoor pool and rates are better than the other compareavle gyms. It's probably the best subway sandwich I ever had from the in-house shop.

The staff and trainers are great. No obnoxious muscle heads, at least for the most part. I enjoy coming and usually bring one of my kids to work out with me. The outdoor pool is great but can get very crowded.

I’ve been a member of Princeton Club New Berlin since 2018. Of course the facilities are top notch and updates are constantly being made, but I think one of the biggest selling points is the number of classes included in your membership. My wife and I attend a spin class twice per week at no additional charge. It’s great to just show up, have an encouraging leader take you through a workout, and be out of there in under an hour!

Club is clean, modern and has a huge variety of programs and equipment for every age group. Staff is experienced, professional and responsive to members needs. Management goes above and beyond to keep things interesting and inviting. Management is quick to respond to members questions/needs.

This gym is one of the best in the area! Staff are very friendly, the facilities are well-maintained, and there is a great variety of equipment for all types of workouts. Everything is included in the membership so you aren’t paying extra for pool access/classes/sauna type amenities. The only con is that the parking lot is not big enough to keep up with high traffic times and sometimes there is no parking, which can get frustrating.

The staff is always friendly and do a great job keeping the place nice and clean. My kids (ages 4 & 6) love the indoor pool are as well as the outdoor pool. Class instructors are knowledgeable and make classes fun!

I’ve been a member of many gyms - but Princeton Club is hands down the best I have been to. I look forward to the classes every week, the equipment and facility are always being upgraded, and it is always extremely clean. Highly recommend this gym!

We switched to the Princeton Club so our daughter could swim year round and because our other gym had no parking anytime of day. We can always find parking and our daughter loves the indoor (and outdoor) pool. Plus, the gym is great as well.

There are great amenities at the Princeton Club. The staff is very friendly and helpful when needed. There are a variety of classes, although they do fill up quickly! The app helps make it easy to sign up for a class or for childcare. I work with Sarah W. for personal training and she is amazing! I highly recommend her as a personal trainer at P.C!

My family has been a Princeton member for 3 years and we absolutely love it! The facilities are so well maintained and clean! The staff is always so welcoming and professional. There is always so much to do, it's really been a sanctuary for quality family time. Management is also so wonderful and keeps members very informed of club updates. We love being members at the Princeton Club!!

Great place for families. Love that they have daycare options that are at optimal times and love their Thursday night adult pool nights with daycare included. Great spot for families in winter time too.
