Terrible use of space.. way to little free weights, tiny little are compared to the extreme high overuse it gets. Also several weight machines out of order, take them months to fix or they just remove them completely. Closes too early now. Can't even get a free bench press till 8pm and place closes at 9pm or earlier. Total overcrowded with high school and college kids from 4:30 - 8:00. Inconsiderate behavior small groups using same machine long periods. Place doesn't repair floors, walls, mirrors. Screws sticking out of walls snag and rip gym clothes and shoes. If you go during the day be prepared to compete with personal trainers for equipment. Laid out like a resort fitness camp and certainly not a serious gym.

I had a membership for myself and my toddler. I was getting a decent rate with a single family corporate membership. I recently received a letter stating they were doing away with the single family corporate membership. When I called and inquired, I was told that they didn't feel it was fair to give two discounts. I fail to see how being a single parent is a discount, and feel it's a circumstance. I was asked how it's any different with just a couple without kids. Simple they have two incomes. I then went in to visit with the membership rep in person. I discussed how I felt about them taking away the corporate single family membership. How unfair it really was that I couldn't get the corporate discount just because I was a single mom. At the end of our conversation the membership rep said maybe I'd win the lottery and be able to come back. I've never been more offended in my life. I work my tail off to provide for my "single family", in a corporate job, yet it doesn't meet their standards. On a side note my fellow co-workers do get the corporate discount, because they are married. There are plenty of gyms I can join that won't make me feel like garbage.

*2023 update* Not much has changed! Still an awesome gym. Still doing classes, still awesome instructors. Only complaint, let's get the water bottle filling stations updated! The ones they have are not cold, they require you to hold the valve, and in particular the one by the group exercise room is unbearably slow. I've traveled a bit more lately (Seattle, California, Arizona) and I tried several other gyms. Choice Health & Fitness is still the best I've been to. -------------------- Been attending since it opened. - Staff are all great. - Friendly and knowledgable. Rates are fair - In line with most clubs, though my employer subsidizes our rates to quite affordable! They offer many classes. - I've been doing the "Body Pump" one for several months at 5:30AM. - Never thought I'd do morning classes, but the location and parking (even in the winter) makes it a pleasure to wake up early. - Instructors are great at getting you going with little/no prior experience. - Give one of these classes a try! Facility is brand new as of last fall. - They have done a great job keeping it maintained. Anytime any equipment has issues (as they might on occasion) they quickly document the problem and get it fixed by the time I'm back. Pool area is well kept, 3+ lifeguards on staff during times when kids are swimming. Waterslides are a hit with my kids, and get them off the couch which is what a fitness center should do! Gym is well thought out and large. - Plenty of hoops if you want to shoot, 3 Volleyball nets can be placed as needed/leagues/etc. 3 Racquetball courts, and 6 Tennis courts, all climate controlled. Walking/running track is 6 laps/mile - Nice views while walking. It's big enough that even when it's busy, it doesn't feel busy. - I've never had any issues getting on equipment I'd like to use. Moderate sized weight area, but it doesn't appear crowded (I'm not that guy though, nor are most of the people there.) Locker rooms are 1st class. Nice lounge area in entryway for visiting, waiting for family, etc. Give it a try if you haven't already!

Amazing place. The staffing are very pleasant. Prices are appropriate for what you get in return. The ladies doing my wife's and myself pedicures are truly unbelievably sweet and polite. We really do enjoy their services. A Big Thank you all for making our visits like a mini vacation. Keep up the Great Work.

The track is very nice and there are a lot of things to do. The pool and sauna areas are really nice, although the hot tub is not really hot. They also don't give out towels anymore, so remember to bring your own. My main complaint is that their barbells are not well taken care of. If you are going there to do Olympic Weightlifting, just know the barbells don't freely spin very well. Their rowers are also a bit beat up. You can feel the chain grind when you're pulling.

I have been working out here since it opened, love the facility! The staff however, is another story. Many of the staff - personal trainers in particular are extremely rude to me while I am working out. Not sure why this is but can sometimes make working out rather uncomfortable.

The facility itself is clean and beautiful. Staff appear friendly. The pool is why I go it is accessible to people with mobility issues. Sauana is nice. Elevator up to the nu steps. Everything I need in one place. The deli has much to be desired and I don't understand why patrons can not bring in their own healthy food. Great job!! Keep it up

Super nice. Had a membership here for a year, but was spendy for how often we went. The water park is really fun with little ones. Have also been to watch tennis and the courts are very nice. I have never been here when it wasn't busy. Not really a poor reflection on the gym and obviously it's popular, but just not really my cup of tea.

Place is not all that great. Machines are older and some are broken. Told staff never was replaced. Some of the benches have wheels and move while lifting weights. Told staff, didn’t really care. If you have your bank account hacked and don’t tell them you changed your debit card, they will turn your account to a local lawyer. I’d stay away from this place.

RAVE RAVE RAVE Choice Health and Fitness. This facility and all of the staff that work here are hands down such a gift in our area. This is my outlet for working out and having a place for beautiful stress relief. Whether I am training for a marathon and running on the track or the treadmills or swimming laps or I am attending a cycle class or strength training class, this place is top notch! They have such a nice child care center for my kiddos that allows me 2 hours to myself where I can attend yoga or run in the morning. The child care center staff are so nice to my kiddos and they have awesome activities every week for the kids to stay busy. They put in a brand new outside playground for when the snow and winter goes away and they also do swim days and gym days with the kiddos. I am just so grateful of this place and the staff feel like true friends who greet you and welcome you. By being a member you also get admittance to the YMCA which also is top notch. I think the general managers really care and put a huge amount of work in making this facility the great place that it is. Shout out to MJ and Julie and Scott and Boop too! 5 stars!!! Amazing outlet all around for myself and my family!!!

  • 4/5 Roxie H. 2 years ago on Google
I would give this all 5 stars if they would replace their benches! The benches are all terrible, full of hinges and poorly placed wheels and parts that stick out. That is my only complaint though! Otherwise it’s super clean, good amount of space and equipment. Staff is always pleasant and helpful.

I joined about 3 weeks ago and I am truly enjoying my membership at Choice Health and Fitness. The membership fees are reasonable, it's very well equipped, the building and equipment are clean and well maintained, and the staff members are friendly. I appreciate that members tend to be rigorous about disinfecting equipment using the provided towels and spray bottles.

Fitness center is great and personnel are friendly, always their to help you any way they can! They are all great team of young professionals who really care about their clients! I can't stress enough they are in that field because they care ! That goes from the front desk all the way back! I am really impressed with the care I have received during my recovery and prior to my surgery- I would recommend them any day!

Pool was fun, had to close for 30min after a child had an "accident." Not a big deal, Choice can't control that. I was disappointed that I called ahead to ask about if guests can use the pool and costs etc as I hadn't used it in a very long time, over 2 years, and stated this on the phone. They gave me the details no big deal. I came, paid, $12 for myself, $8 for my daughter. Went swimming for about 15min, then the "accident." While we had to wait 30min, I figured I should grab a towel. I couldn't find one, and a lifeguard told me unfortunately they no longer supply towels, I had no idea. So soaking wet I walked through to front desk and I was informed I had to buy one for $4. Very disappointed in not being told to bring towels. $4 isn't the issue, but the person that was brought over by the front desk employee basically said it was my fault since they didn't know how long it had been since my last visit, and they try to tell everyone to bring towels. Fair I guess, but it was still frustrating. Not even an apology or offer of assistance, outside of the $4 request. I'll be sure to bring towels in the future but, hopefully this helps someone coming that never has or has not been in the last 1-2 years. Facility was great otherwise, just bring a towel! Feb 2023.

They need to bring back the towels. The raised the rates, and didn't add this service back.. (covid can no longer be an excuse to provide this service that we pay for. Hotel towels are washed and used daily, there is no difference.)

This place is the best. Great pool, slides and lazy river. Only wish they were opened 24 hours.

  • 1/5 Enoch 6 months ago on Google
Needs a minimum age, place is mobbed by teenagers in the evening that don't even use the machines or weights. Just stand around in groups taking up space.

  • 1/5 Preston S. 4 months ago on Google
If you go here specifically for lifting you have to do it at 6 am or 30 minutes before closing, mostly because of people who take too long on equipment and don't know proper gym etiquette

  • 3/5 Jessica S. 5 years ago on Google
The weight area is small and haphazardly set up. This is largely due to the walls built in and the over use of angles in the architecture. Plenty of bikes, treadmills, and assisted weight lifting machines. The classes offered in the membership are a great added benefit.

Choice fitness is a good facility. Modern a d up to date. Tbe floor in the men's locker room was a bit dirty but later in the day. We went swimming and had a good time. We will definitely be going back again soon. Also go to the y.

Nice facility but over saturated with members currently. There really isn’t any good time of day to come here as it’s always busy and crowded. But they keep selling more memberships, adding to the problem. Also, half the parking lot is snow and there is no parking. Lately, I haven’t bothered with going to gym because there is either a long wait for equipment or it’s just too crowded. Also, wish they’d be open until 10 on Sunday night. Some people work during the weekend and can’t make it in and have a complete workout by 9, maybe open an hour later on Sundays instead of 7:30? Probably won’t renew my membership once it is up.
