Horrible customer service. Will lie about “promotions” and over charge you for your membership. Then tell you you have to pay MORE money to convert membership to monthly to cancel. I told them I do not authorize them to change my account, and they tell me I can’t do that. Um excuse me but it is MY BANK ACCOUNT, if l can revoke approval at any time. Not worth the extras for mediocre amenities/terms I was told! I wish I never would have signed up!

Great gym but after Ida we had to move away and they still charged us for the rest of the year even though I never went again. 800$. Which was a contract so it is what it is the sketchy part is they auto renewed for a second year and billed us over 1200$. So we are paying 2000$ for a gym membership that hasn't been used in 14 months. Be aware of there dishonest practices before signing anything.

Won't allow our nanny to bring our kids to the swing area without paying $15 a day since she doesn't live with us. Why would anyone pay 3x for a fitness center that doesn't allow a member to bring a guest? I got an $1800 check waiting for this establishment to accommodate our little ones and provide the positive environment to grow in that they proudly promote on their recording while you wait to be spoken with. $1800, plus 2 birthdays a year is around $2400 total (give or take) this establishment is missing over a nanny coming to the establishment once a week to bring my kiddos to the play ground area. The money will be spent somewhere. Considering I own 3 properties in Hammond and run a business, I understand the power of word of mouth. Google doesn't beat having a good name in a small community. I work hard to provide housing for the people of Hammond, how about y'all work hard to provide that positive environment for the kids that you all are so proud of!

Things started great in 2020 when my family and Me joined for approximately $100 a month. That covered wife, 2 toddlers, and myself. Upon joining I was asked to pay about $330, which covered first and last month plus some cryptic fees. Things went well for a few years as the.facilities are clean and maintained adequately. Things started going south after about 18 months when the monthly fees kept increasing and they began adding a $60 upgrade fee periodically. My $100 a month had increased to about $140. Recently I received a military deployment which will take me from the area. I went to cancel on Nov 9th and they refused to close my account without making me use the last month that I paid years prior to cover December, which I obviously will not be able to use. When I get back from deployment I will not return to this gym.

Not bad equipment or machines but I have gotten multiple things stolen out of my bag and left by a machine. I wish there was a better and honest community when it comes to this place. I have even got a single airpod stolen when I came back for it the same day. Same for a water bottle. My friend has gotten his skullcandy headphones stolen while in the locker room. I can’t trust bringing anything. Preworkout stolen, water bottle stolen, headphones stolen, cologne stolen, etc.

Best gym I've ever been a member of. Very clean and sanitary on all their equipment. A massage chair room. A lot of different classes that's included in your membership. Yoga, zumba, crossfit, crossfire, boot camp, spin class, senior classes, youth classes, water aerobics, etc. The pool area is big, clean, has a baby pool, and a kid water play area that's perfect for summer time.

Absolutely love this gym and atmosphere! Been a member for many many years.

This place is like the Disneyland of fitness gym. The gym is big with every type of exercise machines you need. It's a two stories gym with exercise classes. Hip hop and zumba classes. Water aerobic classes and they serve all kinds of healthy foods and vitamins etc. Pickle ball, tennis, walking path. Truly clean and the facility is amazing. The price is expensive but you get alot for your buck or two. If you can afford it you should join.

Nice family gym and 99 % of the membership is cordial and respectful.... I would consider it the premiere fitness gym facility in Hammond 😎 It has almost everything you need for fitness... My only complaint would be that it seems like there is always something out of service from the steam room, to the A/C. However, I know the crews do a great job of cleaning equipment and facilities. Additionally, it always smells good in the gym! Everyone of the trainers are professional and the rest of staff I've dealt with have been courteous and attentive.

One of the best gyms I've ever been to. The description on the web side or the reviews found here do not do justice how great this gym is. I will definitely come back here when I return to this area.

Nice facility but do not take them there if you have kids. Especially kids of color. Discrimination is unreal. Lying incompetent caretakers of children employed here. Save your money and yourself a headache.

For $90 something a month, the maintenance of this facility is unacceptable. The weights are old, raggedy, and cheap, the kind you would find in a snap fitness. Even worse, the maintenance is terrible. Machines are broke, you can’t even adjust certain machines properly because they are so neglected. I’m going to try and do a massive favor for the owners of this company - respond to this message with your contact number and I will call and give you free consulting. You need it.

I travel a lot and always look for places to work out. This place was right across the hotel. I called the first time and was told that a one day pass would cost me $21. Which is really high. The next day, I walked in and asked the same question. I was told 31 dollars. So go figure?

I have been wanting to WARN newcomers about this for a while. I have now left this gym. Get ready to pay close to $100 or more (couple) to feel packed in like ants. It's definitely not worth it. This "action-packed" gym has someone in every corner of the gym to a point where you can't get a decent workout for fear of literally stepping on someone. They actually hold classes in the same area people try to use mats on the floor to workout. I literally was almost hit in the face by a lady jumping-roping because we were so enclosed. If you are doing a crunches you have to sit up or simply go somewhere else breaking your flow (even YOU are paying too) because there may be someone literally running back and forth above your head in the same area for some insane reason in a class. You are so packed in, your workout is interrupted to make way for THEM because there so little room. On some days everywhere you go in there you turn around and choose to go home instead because there are so many people. And instead if realizing this and expanding the building or building a larger establishment, this gym greedily continues to encourage others patrons to come. You can barely move. Rooms could be available are designated times for other businesses or classes. In the meantime, you are being waited on to get off a peice of equipment by other people. Then in the middle of your workout someone with a vacuum is zooming past with cord possibly across the floor. Eventually you wisen up and realize you are actually better of working out for free at home or cheaper at another gym with actual gym It is just not worth money, frustration or literally the wait. What's $100 bucks anyway right?

You can work out. And get a massage. And go relax in the pool. And your kids can work with you it's been great experience 🙂🙂🙂 they also have the steam room wet and dry which is really nice. I just wish they will do a steam room like for like husband and wife to relax together

I absolutely love this gym!! I was a member about 2 years ago & I just rejoined this year with my boyfriend! I LOVE IT! I have a 3 year old & he LOVES the child care center! Don’t think that it’s a daycare, it’s just a nice place for your kids to stay entertained while u get a workout in! The classes are great! Such a wide variety. Body pump, cycling, barre, Zumba, hip hop cardio, yoga & more! There’s even a pool & tennis court! They offer the UP center which IS FREE for members!! You usually would have to pay to use it but it’s free and I am so glad because they have other equipment in the UP center! I love the fake grass lol. Very spacious gym with PLENTY of machinery & a wide variety of food options too for if you’re on the go and don’t have time to cook or if you just want to grab a quick protein bar or other protein snack! Highly recommend! The staff is also super friendly & patient with you which is a huge plus!

Honestly great place to workout, play basketball or volleyball, swim, and tennis or pickle ball. There is a machine for every muscle. It comes with a bar and protein bars. The most important thing that you will find there are people that will motivate you to continue or people that will help you with form. This isn’t planet fitness, this is a good quality gym that comes with a room with massage chairs.

I love this gym. I love the fact that they are always willing to help people when times get rough, whether it be free showers to those affected by hurricanes to leniency with contracts because of the pandemic. Their trainers and staff are always genuinely friendly and helpful. My *only* semi complaint is the unavailability of locker room/spa areas late at night (10PM-4AM), although I understand that it is likely due to security and staffing reasons. There is so much available at this gym, track, pool, tennis courts, classes, basketball court, etc. It is well worth the money spent.

This is an AMAZING PLACE to workout and have FAMILY TIME!! Pricing is GREAT for families with kids! Just joined and my kids LOVE it here saying”I had such a great day and we are aloud to keep doing it”! My kids would rather be here and working out/swimming then playing on a game system! Great selection of workout equipment and classes! From cycling to rowing to cardio to yoga to body sculpting, there are classes for everyone. Not only is there a pool with lap lanes, they have steam rooms and saunas in each dressing room area. The club is very family friendly and offers activities for the kids when the parents are working out. You can’t forget the snack bar where there is an assortment of delicious, healthy foods to eat and drink. The club even has a massage chair room! Overall, it is a great value! I love working out here. There isn’t pressure to be superhuman and I don’t feel judged. I feel motivated and encouraged.

Bait and switch. To cancel the contract it costed me a total of $400 for 3 months of membership. Such a scam, they even have an on going law suit with the Better Business Bureau.

North Cypress is okay, but very expensive given the community it serves. They will lock you in a contract. I also get the vibe they do not treat their staff well. It also makes no sense that they close so early on the weekends (and also close the locker rooms at night even when they are open on weeknights).

If I could vote them 0 stars I would. Never reply to emails at all. Discrimination is a huge problem here. If your a guy be prepared to be looked at differently. Staff is very rude and unfriendly. Worst Fitness club ever. Bathrooms are horrible.

Tons of different exercise classes, yoga, spinning, personal trainers and floors of workout equipment. The staff are very professional and polite. Sauna and steam rooms in men’s and women’s bathrooms. Reasonably priced. Accepts Medicare.

We love North Cypress! My 1 year old loves gym care & we absolutely love the director she’s amazing & super sweet. My daughter has never been out in any kind of day care setting until now & I’m so happy shes enjoys being there. Everything is cleaned & sanitized often as well! She even loves the splash pad area, the moment we step foot out that door she’s trying to run away to go play. Everyone I’ve interacted with the north cypress staff has been really kind & I wouldn’t want to go any place else. Not to mention The Panini Bistro ( the chop a toolus is my favorite) is so good as well as the blenders smoothies & shakes ! Thankyou North Cypress for allowing me to be able to work out & have somewhere I’m comfortable brining my baby.

NCF chose to excel as employees and up their skills by learning life saving skills including CPR and First Aid. A wonderful group adding 25 more Lifesavers ready to assist as needed in and out of work. Bravo!

This place is awesome. We have been here for about 2 weeks now. Let me just say the DAYCARE is a GOD SEND!! There's so much to do and choose from. I've tried YOGA for the first time and it was AMAZING. The instructor Michelle was so nice and knowledge with my questions. From workers to other members everyone has been so nice and helpful. My kids are still young but they love it already. We plan on being a part of the North Cypress Family for a VERY long time.

Absolutely horrific experience with this gym. It was closed for several months this spring due to COVID, during which time payments were paused. When my husband tried to cancel his membership at the end of his contract term in July, they said he still owed for the months when the gym was closed, as they interpreted the term of the contract not to be for 12 months (as it stated), but for 12 PAYMENTS. In other words, they believe he owes for a service that was inaccessible during a pandemic. Worse yet, while we were actively trying to work through the issue with them they informed us they would be forwarding the account to a third party collections company. This was despite the fact that the account had been frozen for over a month while we waited to hear back from them regarding a resolution, and thus had only been "delinquent" for a few days. I would not recommend this gym to anyone.

The facilities are really nice here. They are currently renovating the pool. I just wish that my intro or orientation would include setting up a workout plan. Also, you hate having to bring a lock.

We joined this gym about 3 months ago and it’s one of the best decisions I have made here. Andrew was my sales guy. He was very informative, completely explained every aspect of a membership there. He was friendly, personable, professional and always waves/says hi when I see him. He’s a keeper, ask for him if your want to sign up, he was great! The price for what you get is very reasonable. We have 2 small children, the kids love the Child care they provide and beg to go back. I’ve been a member of LA Fitness my entire adult life, my husband travels a lot so we were also members of the YMCA. A year before we moved here, we were in California for about 9 months. I liked both of those other gyms but they were just ok. North Cypress feels more like a country club than a gym. I absolutely LOVE it. The hours are so convenient, the facility is always clean, staff is always incredibly friendly, the pool area feels like a resort, I can’t say enough positive things about this place. Now this opinion could be because I just came from California but I love that they don’t have all the regulations and nit picky rules! (I am NOT referring to Covid rules that they can not control.) There are courtesy rules of course but for the most part you can swim anytime, childcare is 2.5 hours no long big break during the middle of the day like most places, plenty of machines, plenty of classes to choose from, I love the outdoor track, the massage chairs are a great complement to a tough workout or just a mom needing 15 more minutes for herself. They also have a room where you can work out with your kids! I have never seen this in a gym before! What a great idea! I truly can not say enough good things. For Hammond Louisiana being a town of 20,000 people, this is by far the nicest gym we have ever belonged to, it was such a pleasant surprise. Sign up! It will be a decision you will not regret!
