After
the
club
I
was
part
of
for
years,
suddenly
closed
I
had
to
find
a
club
with
a
pool.
Unfortantely,
my
friends
from
my
old
club
(some
swimmers
and
some
from
my
Silver
Sneakers
class)
found
a
different
place
as
many
of
them
didn't
need
a
pool.
So,
I
now
I
needed
a
club
with
a
pool,
classes,
and
was
hoping
that
I
could
find
some
new
friends.
So,
I
scheduled
a
tour
with
LPSF
5
days
after
getting
the
news
of
the
closure
of
the
old
gym.
I
was
totally
amazed
how
many
people
both
staff
members
and
Mya
(my
tour
guide)
knew
by
name
as
they
walked
in
the
club.
So,
got
a
3
day
pass
and
during
this
time,
met
and
made
a
number
of
new
friends,
so
that
on
the
3rd
day
after
my
workout,
I
ran
into
Mya
and
told
her
I'm
ready
to
join
!
In
2023
this
has
been
by
far
my
EASIEST
decision!
So,
you
may
ask
what's
so
good
about
it?
1)Very
VERY
clean.
The
former
club
was
not
even
close
to
how
clean
this
club
is.
Locker
room
is
great
-
spacious
and
super
clean
and
the
showers
are
very
nice.
BTW....the
pool
area
is
well
taken
care
and
clean
as
well
as
the
gym
and
classrooms.
2)
Wonderful
staff
-
After
my
first
or
second
visit,
staff
called
me
by
my
first
name
-
yes,
even
before
scanning
my
card
!
Beside
this,
they
are
so
friendly
and
helpful.
3)
Great
Instructors
-
I'm
in
3
water
classes
and
an
RPM
class
and
the
instructors
are
a
complete
joy.
They
are
happy
to
be
there
and
they,
as
one
of
the
instructors
shirt
says,
"Lead
With
Joy"
4)
Reservation
system
for
classes
and
the
pool.
This
way,
you
know
that
the
class
you
want
is
available
and
you
have
a
space
in
it.
Usually
it's
not
an
issue.
The
pool
has
4
lanes
and
at
times,
it
is
difficult
to
get
a
lane.
That
being
said,
people
are
really
nice
at
the
club
and
if
people
are
walking
in
the
pool,
you
usually
can
walk
with
them.
If
you
want
to
swim,
you
usually
can
get
some
laps
in
too.
There
are
also
some
open
times
with
no
reservations
for
the
pool,
so
you
are
support
to
share
lanes.
5)
People
-
In
the
10
weeks
I've
been
there,
I've
met
some
really
great
people.
After
one
week,
I
was
already
invited
to
a
summer
picnic
with
the
swim
group.
There
are
special
get
togethers
throughout
the
year.
This
was
really
important
to
me
as
I
lost
many
friends
with
the
closing
of
my
former
club.
Many
people
at
LPSF
have
been
there
for
years
-
kind
of
speaks
to
how
nice
it
is.
At
LPSF,
there
is
an
amazing
feeling
of
community.
I've
never
seen
that
at
any
'gym',
but
then
again,
LPSF
is
a
special
place.
6)
Can't
end
this
without
mentioning
the
coffee
!
I
really
like
it
that
after
class,
then
a
swim/walk,
hot
tub
and/or
a
steam
and
shower,
going
into
the
lobby
and
sitting
down
to
coffee
with
my
new
friends.
I
usually
sit,
drink
and
flap
the
jaws
for
about
an
hour.
A
great
way
to
unwind
&
relax
before
heading
home.
And...the
coffee
is
really
good
!
7)
Communication
-
the
club
keeps
you
updated
on
special
classes
or
news
about
the
club
via
email
on
a
very
regular
basis.
8)
Costs
-
In
looking
at
the
club
and
what
they
offer,
you
get
the
impression
that
it
is
very
expensive.
I
was
pleasantly
suprised
that
the
rates
are
very
reasonable
and
a
discount
available
if
you
pay
the
whole
year
in
one
payment.
I'm
sure
I'm
missing
more
about
what
makes
this
club
special.
I'm
very
happy
that
the
'lemon'
I
was
handed
in
late
June
has
turned
into
lemonade
!
In
conclusion
-
a
great
place
that
I
highly
recommend
to
anyone
looking
for
a
great
fitness
experience
with
great
people
from
the
staff
to
the
new
friends
you'll
meet.
