Lots of monkeys and birds to see. A perfect day out for children under 12. Lots of nice things to see and do and a couple of fun little rides at the end. Went during half term. Used vouchers so worth the visit. Recommend to take a picnic to save ££

We visited on a Sunday and hadn't been there for a good few years but it hadn't appeared to have changed too much. The animals are still the best thing about the park with a wide variety and great knowledge/fact boards around each enclosure. The staff are always more than happy to answer any questions and talk about the animals. The sloths were a high point and looked amazing. Once you get through the animal section you're in the children's play area, while the majority is free, a lot of the activities aren't which, considering it was £33 each (for both adult and child tickets), seemed a but unfair. The new attraction called Spark was heavily promoted but once you get there it too has a charge, and also was entirely booked up for the day according to the guy on the Spark entrance desk, so that didn't help with the kids moods, or mine. The train hasn't changed a bit and is still highly entertaining (for me anyway). The rides that were free were great and on the day we visited they weren't busy at all. Overall it's worth a visit for the animals, but be prepared for difficult child conversations when it comes to the playground.

It was a great day out kids loved every second of it spent most the day there from opening and spent out time going round to take I all the animals. Then we did did the paving for gold and the inflatable slide with the kids loved and follow that with the water park. Then a train ride and onto the fairground rides All in all it was great and we got annual passes so will be going back again

Went just before Christmas so it was a cold day but it was great to have lots of covered areas to veiw the animals which I didn't expect. Nearly all of the animals could be veiwed, inside there dens (some didn't want to venture out), there is plenty to see and do to keep kids and adults entertained for hours and hours. The cafe's are spacious too with plenty of seating inside and out.

Lovely zoo and play park for the primary and junior school aged kids. Plenty of animals which are well looked after. The play area is big with lots of slides swings and walkways. We purchased the tickets on the day and our kids had a wonderful day. tickets can be purchased online, but the date cannot be changed or refunded, we did this last month but our daughter caught chicken pox and couldn't go, shame that online tickets cannot be refunded or changed even in exceptional circumstances.

Had a fantastic day here with my family wife daughter and granddaughter. We booked a couple of weeks in advance and saved a good amount well worth doing. But compared to other similar zoo parks it's already a lot cheaper. We had easy free parking and after a very small wait getting into the park used the toilets which are very clean and well maintained. There are so many animals to see. Good quality food outlets at very reasonable prices. Lots for little ones to enjoy lots of rides to go on just like the old funfairs. We paid £5 to pan for gold lots of fun sand water and at the end you weigh it in and got a medal. Sat at one of the many table and benches and had an ice-cream others a hot drink then finished up with a train ride. It's a fun safe enjoyable day out the time raced away and time to head home. Could have easily stayed hours more. Well worth a visit for young and old. I will be going again in the summer holidays in sure.

I thought paying £66 to come here would be a mistake and I wasn’t wrong! I can’t see what’s so spectacular that they even think it’s okay to charge this amount. Not all that many animals here really in reality and some of the tanks/cages were empty. The adventure park is good for the kids but it does get so busy here at the weekends and I imagine in half terms. Train that goes round but didn’t go on so can’t comment and a couple of rides included in price. Queued for about 20 minutes in the cafe for two things, and the food here is stupidly prices and looks tasteless although cannot comment because didn’t buy hot food. Not much of a choice and no option to have cold food. I wasted too long queuing up whilst staff who look just old enough to work stand about doing nothing. The glass on the animal cages is dirty and there’s no excuse for that. Whilst at a different and better zoo a short while ago, they would clean the glass daily! The toilets here smell so bad too. Would I recommend this zoo, no I wouldn’t. Not a lot for your money. Save it and go somewhere else unless you like queuing and paying over the odds.

A fantastic day out for the family, especially if the children are aged under 8-10. Our main purpose was to see the zoo and the animals on show did not disappoint. There were an incredible mix of creatures which allowed us to bring the education and context into reality. The venue was pretty much immaculate and this was reflected within the “homes” of the animals. There are various times at which the animals get fed, we managed to see the penguins devour fish 😃 If you like monkeys then you’ll be pleasantly surprised with the amount of different breeds they have and all so incredible to watch and simply study whilst standing there, watching their every move! We managed to see them eating locusts as well; the monkeys are absolute technicians! The only disappointment were the rides; we thought there’d be plenty of rides to go on but in actual fact there is only a limited handful, so probably best no to talk this part up and leave it to be a surprise and added bonus to your day if/when visiting, hence the reason for scoring 4 out of 5 stars otherwise it would be full 5 stars. There is also a small arcades hut (House of Fun) where ALL the machines are FREE to play - usually you’d be expected to pay between £0.50p to £1 for the privilege of playing these machines at an arcade but here they are 100% free which is a beautiful touch to the park and a great offering - well done. They also have a coffee shops that serve Starbucks throughout the venue - I was a bit sceptical thinking it wouldn’t taste the same but I so wrong and pleased with the drinks 👌 All in all, a great day out and highly recommended. Free parking available and hot and cold food available to purchase, although like many people we decided to take packed lunch and make use of their outdoor dining spaces.

Lovely zoo for young children. My grandson loved the huskies and seeing Father Christmas. The zoo was full of small animals and he enjoyed seeing the otters and birds he could feed. He also enjoyed the train ride. The Sparks attraction is a very good addition. We only had one problem and that was the lack of signs to get from one area to another. Apart from that l do recommend a visit

Such an amazing Monday morning feeding the two incredibly cute red pandas! It was great to be able to ask as many questions as we wanted (our zookeeper was fantastic!), all whilst within the enclosure and up close to the usually sleepy animals who we never get the chance to see. Would definitely recommend booking a close encounter to anyone!

Our children absolutely loved it. Very interactive and lots of the exhibits have stamps to collect and quiz questions in the style of lifting flaps that the children loved. Food was reasonably priced and the coffee helped. The rides had a short wait time and are great for under 8s. The play area is huge and features an indoor soft play and a splash park. Only let down was the cost.

What a great day out! Upon arriving the parking was good and didn't have to walk a mile to the entrance. Going into the park you didn't have to wait long with the staff processing families quickly and if you have booked online which I would advise it moves even quicker! In the park there is a lot for kids to do, the rides were good and catered for all ages and having the play areas near by was also a good distraction. The Zoo was bigger than I thought it was going to be with an array of animals and different walk through to keep everyone moving and entertained! The weather was very good and allowed for sitting and eating outside and there was plenty of room for this. It never seemed to crowded and was managed very well by the park staff. Will definitely go again!!

Drusillas is ideal for primary school age children, and the zoo-lympics challenges and stamps keep them engaged all the way round. The zoo follows a one way system and when you reach the end, you come to a big outdoor play area, indoor soft play, wet play area and places to buy food. You can continue following the trail to a picnic area with paid activities and gifts shops. Finally you reach the train, the maze and a handful of small rides. Every year they have new features and things that have been repainted and/ or improved - its good to see that they are continually investing in the park. Not sure if it is new, but we went in the 'Spark' sensory area this time... its a good feature but cost £2 per person (when other Zoos like Colchester include it in the price). Overall its a fab day out, and will keep you occupied for between 2-4 hours. The prices have gone up, so I'd recommend buying tickets in advance to save a bit of money.

It was my first ever visit, and the first time I took my 20 month old granddaughter! I booked it so we could see Paddington Bear. Parking was easy - despite how busy it was; we did arrive at 10 am. It was already a queue but it was dealt with efficiently and quickly by the very friendly staff. The zoo is obviously very used to dealing with lots of families & their buggies. It is easy for those in ♿️ and buggies to trundle round and see the animals. We lunched in the play area especially made for the Under 5s. We had taken our own packed lunch to avoid food queues and prices. My granddaughter really loved being able to play here. We did queue for about 45 minutes to see Paddington - it was good-natured and not a strain. I am really impressed that the cost of the ticket included not just all the lovely animals but also any rides and the water area. As my granddaughter gets older, I might just have to take out annual membership! I am going to adopt an animal. A really lovely little zoo surrounded by the glorious countryside.

Fantastic first visit to Drusilla with my 15m old son. The size of the space is incredible. So much to do with the hound ones of all ages. Zoo, play parks, water park area, arcades, activities and so much more. really friendly staff and great gift shops. Multiple cafes. Starbucks if you want a coffee. It was a really great experience and will definitely be back with the whole family. What a great place where the animals are looked after properly with fantastic themed enclosures. You receive a free animal guide where you can stamp which animals you have seen for a keepsake. Brilliant.

Absolutely love this zoo, we come here a couple of times a year and really enjoy the experience we have. It's lovely seeing this zoo improve over the years adding new exhibits with plenty of space for each set of animals. Even got to see the new additions of animals and new babies which is lovely. If you get here around lunchtime you will be able to see most the animals getting feed. Which is a brilliant experience and the keepers are wonderful and full of enthusiasm and love showing the animals off like placing food in view of the windows to view. The amount of personal experiences you can book as well for feeding and petting is brilliant. We will be back again soon 👍

We had an excellent day at Drusillas Park (despite the rain). The zoo featured lots of small animals that you can get up close to. The highlight of the day was the great parks and play areas. Food quality was good and reasonably priced. We visited with children aged between 1 and 8. They had a blast and I think these are the perfect age to really take advantage of all the things this place has to offer. With younger children this is easily a full day experience but I can see with teenagers or just adults it would only take a few hours. One star knocked off purely because it is more on the expensive side compared to similar attractions.

Great day out with my husband and 9 year old son. Was very well planned out due to coronavirus. Animals were very well cared for. The park was amazing and the little rides are a bonus for younger children. Even though my son enjoyed the cheetah ride and carousel.

Aa Wonderful place is this. The zoo area is really cool, educational and the animals are (certainly on our visits) very active. A really fun day out with ample to do keeping children very entertained and, worn out! Good job. In addition, despite a few below comments, I thought there were ample sanitising stations to keep clean and safe.

Absolutely amazing family day out. Free parking. Bins and toilets almost on every corner, several cafes (not too pricy), benches for picnic, softplay, excellent playground for bigger and smaller kids. Zoo itself is incredible! Spent the whole day, kids and adults had excellent time. Definitely will be back again.

A fantastic family day out - went there on a Tuesday and it was quite busy - recommend going in the afternoon if you can, it quieted down a lot. Loads of things for the kids to do, the water play area was fantastic and the coffee shop food was very good albeit quite expensive. Parking is free. Gift shop was very good also. Can’t recommend it enough, baby was happy at the end of the day. More activities for a 1 year old than we thought and a lot of animals to see. Only thing we didn’t like is that there were certain things only open on weekends - then surely charge people less on weekdays to make up for it? Tickets were more expensive at the door (£30)

We went on a quiet day and it was a lovely experience as two adults - hadn't been in about 20 years and it's got much more to offer now than it did in my childhood. We walked from the train station and that was a simple and safe route, the park itself while pricy was very enjoyable and I'd definitely pay to go again. I'd get the ticket the night before as theres a percentage off if you pre-book which I missed out on :( The animals were gorgeous, can't speak for the large play area and rides but they looked like they would have been great with kids - especially now there's a paddling pool area for summer as it was very hot the day we went. There are interesting factoids about all the animals all over and it was lovely seeing them fed as they went absolutely loopy! Unfortunately the sloth/bat zone was closed when we visited, this was my favourite as a kid so it would have been interesting to see what has changed. A few animal inclosures looked a bit small, understimulating/synthetic for the animals and overcrowded, but I saw that they are currently building bigger more outdoor enclosures so Im giving 4* on the hope that they are operating ethically and will be enlarging their habitats. Aside from this the bathrooms were gendered and quite dank/cramped, and there was a lack of water fountains, otherwise the whole place was in good condition and seems like a solid day out for anyone really!

This is a really great park!! Plenty for younger kids (or adult kids!) to do. We were visiting family down south and decided to take a trip, bit surprised with the price that kids and adult tickets are the same but they offered a carer ticket for free and under 2 are free - no oap option, they're full price. Either way despite the price we had a brilliant time, lots of animals and rides for the kids, some things you have to pay extra to go on but there's still alot included in the ticket. A cute little water area so take a swim suit or something and a massive park. Then 2 restaurants, cafe, a sweet shop (careful of the ones you pour into the cup, they literally fall out at you) and of course the gift shop haha. Overall we spent about 5 hours there and really enjoyed the whole thing!

We had an awesome time at Drusillas today, our son had a zookeeper for the day experience for his 6th birthday and it was amazing. Zara was an amazing zoo keeper and really knowledgeable about every creature we met. She tailored the experience to ensure we all has an amazing day and our son had the ‘best birthday ever!’ We’ve been coming to Drusillas for around 30 years now and have had annual passes since our son was two, we always have a great day out and would recommend to everyone, especially the experiences. Keep up the good work.

Visited Drusillas and was thoroughly impressed! The diversity of animals on display is captivating, and the close-up views make for an intimate experience. What stands out is the energy and liveliness of the animals, making it a truly engaging visit. The facilities are top-notch, well-maintained, and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. An added bonus is the array of activities for children – from funfair rides to parks and soft play areas. Highly recommended for a delightful day out!

Really good for children. Booklet for Children to stamp when they see each animal. And also challenge book. Animals. Train ride(free) splash water pad. Massive play park. Cafe, and restaurant. Rides and added extras like panning for gold, bouncy castle, rock climbing.

A great place to visit for a full day out - a really good range of animals and some fun rides included that are ideal for young children, plus a splash pad and great playground. They've added a few rides since we went a year or so ago. There's also a soft play which looked good, but we ran out of time to explore that too! All nicely thought out with a good route and lots of activities for different ages along the way. We went just after the schools had started back and it was nice and quiet - the rides were working on a rotation system which worked really well. One thing we wished was a bit better was that some of the enclosures felt small for the animals, some were fine but some we wished they had more space or at least to see some reassurance for those that don't have signs to that effect that they don't live in them full time. We took a picnic this time as our previous experience has been that the food is expensive and not great. Overall we had a great day and will definitely come back!

We took my daughter to drusillas for a zookeeper for the day experience and everything about the experience was amazing. She spent the day with Amber as her zookeeper and amber was fantastic, so knowledgeable and good with our daughter. She experienced so much during the day, and got to spend so much time with a variety of animals and hasn't stopped talking about it ever since. We highly recommend this really well priced, one on one zookeeper experience and are so grateful to Amber.

I have visited Drusillas Park twice within a month. First time my granddaughter and I went with our Toddler group in a little coach. The children all very excited, started by looking at the animals. The water play area was very popular as a very hot day. I think she like the trampoline next followed by the fair ground rides. We left the park by 1.45 the toddlers all had a fabulous time and many fell asleep on the way home. Second time was with my daughter and same granddaughter, although only 3 today she knew where she was and was happy to show her mummy the animals. Not so hot today so some of the animals where having a walk about in their enclosures, lovely to see. Again our little one knew the way to the trampoline and fair ground rides. We took a picnic, there are plenty of places to sit, but little one was to busy to eat. We ended the day by going in the shop and getting a new toy and an ice cream. A very happy and worn out little birthday girl in the car home. Great place to take children to start learning about animals and to have lots of fun too.

Lovely place, advise you to take a packed lunch as the wait for food is pants. Not a lot of people sticking to social distancing but keeping everyone moving must be a tricky job. All animals appear to be kept well and its a nice touch when we're shown the dates of new births. Staff also knowledgeable about the animals and with a genuine interest in them too!

It's been quite a few years since I visited but after today I can see that the park has expanded, as has its variety of animals. There are some rides, a small section of animatronic dinosaurs, the farm section is still there and virtually unchanged since I went there as a little girl. A great day out for families, even with the rubbish weather. The animals seem well-kept and contented and Drusillas boasts its conservation efforts which, judging by the babies in a few of the enclosures seems to be going rather well!

  • 5/5 Chloe S. 3 years ago on Google
A great day out for the whole family. I was slightly disappointed that we didn't have to book a time slot to enter, so there was a massive queue to get in. Top tip, head straight to the splash area to pick up a time band for the day. The entry queue was socially distanced, but apart from that it was as if there had been no virus. There did seem to be a lot of people in the park for the space. Really friendly and enthusiastic staff, which made the day even better. There were lots of hand sanitizer stations around and frequent cleaning of rides, which was reassuring.

We had a great family day out here, they are handling COVID-19 very well. The zoo tour had the kids captured throughout. There are good rides and a great park for younger kids. We will certainly visit this place again.

Remember to book online! Great fun day as a family. The Zoo is great, the animals are to be seen up close and they are very lively, not afraid and sometimes even interact with visitors. The social distancing could be challenging at times but at least you are outdoors. You can wash your hand in multiple stations and you have sanitizers every corner. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The playgrounds are fun too. Plenty of stuff to eat and buy as souvenir. Recommend it definetely.

  • 5/5 Ashley D. 3 years ago on Google
Fantastic selection of animals, my 2 year old and 10 year old loved it. There is a 1 way system around the animals just a shame a few of the people there thought they were too important to follow this or any social distancing rules. Only a few of the rides were closed due to covid-19 which is understandable. The rides that were open were more suitable for younger children but my 10 year old did still enjoy the day. The outdoor play area is huge for both the older kids and so is the one for smaller children and both are great quality. The splash pad was fantastic but the water was cold as weather was warm but not hot. Overall was a great day out. Would definitely recommend, only complaints are that too many people were let in, making social distancing almost impossible at times.

  • 4/5 Jeff B. 3 years ago on Google
A great day out with young children. The zoo part is a really nice walk through with quite a lot of interaction. . A well thought out ride area and play area kept children entertained all day. The only disappointment was the lack of social distancing management. Some rides were brilliantly managed, other operators just didn't bother and the zoo area was a bit of a free for all.

  • 5/5 Carly J. 3 years ago on Google
We loved it here! So brilliant for kids. Lots to do. The enclosures are great, glass everywhere so that little ones can see. A good tip is to do the rides and playground in the morning and zoo in the afternoon when its quieter! Would definitely recommend.

Delightful family orientated mini zoo tucked into the folds of the Sussex Downs. A tad on the expensive side entry-wise, once you're inside mostly everything is free. This zoo was built and designed for kids and families and everything is very well thought out. Lots of hands-on activities- including milking a 'mock' cow- this little darling is a must even on a damp day. So muchto do. Being a keeper for the day is a smashing birthday present forany child. Picnic area and lots of parking make it a sensible choice. Only downside: a Starbucks that seems to want everybody's coffee to come as half a pint of tasteless slush rather than coffee...tiny grumble.

Drusillas is in a league of its own! My children have been members for 4 years and they are still not tired of it. Excellent standards of customer service and plenty of fun, young and older children love it here. I have always been impressed by the staff who are so kind to children and happy to help, whatever the problem. I will be very sad when my kids are too old for this place, it holds many happy memories for me.

This is one of the best zoos I have been to. It has a large selection of animals (lots of monkeys, birds and other small creatures. It has less of the big sights such as giraffes and elephants but what you can see is great. The animals seem happy and the enclosures allow you to see them quite close up. They have great rides here for very young children which you can ride on for free included in your ticket price. Heres also a great play park. There were a few things closed due to covid but I can see they are doing a great job of managing with restrictions. The staff were also very lovely. I can't wait to go back in the summer and see everything again and hopefully more. Would recommend.

Drusillas Park is a wonderful Zoo. The animals were roaming about their enclosures and all seemed happy. The staff are all positive and friendly and following covid guidelines. I have been to 3 zoos so far and this has been my favorite. They have a typical zoo... a farm "zoo" where you can touch the animals if you wish... a play park and a small wet play park area... a number of rides for children including a hello kitty track car ride, a carrousel, tea cups, a hippo ride a cheta ride and a ride on train... The explorer café food was very nice and a Starbucks.. Very fun day out with the little man.

I don't normally like zoos but it was brilliant. Well kept enclosures, lots of marmoset monkeys with their young, and some animals I'd never seen before such as beavers and binturong and hyrax.

Best park in the South-East! Absolutely amazing place, visited in the school holidays with our 4 & 8 year old children. We spent 7 hours here but could easily have stayed longer. Really well organised, felt really safe with Covid restrictions in place. The zoo was a highlight for us, all the animals were extremely well looked after. Mark the Zoo Manager was extremely knowledgeable and spent time telling us about each animal, the children were fascinated. All the staff were more than happy to help and were really enthusiastic. Great play areas and rides with a good mix for both school aged and pre-school children ( and adults!) Nice restaurant and places to get snacks and coffee at really reasonable prices! One of the best days out we have ever had...Our children are still talking about it weeks later, can’t wait to go again! 😊

Amazing Zoo and outdoor fun place for kids. A lot of attraction for fair price, great animals. Its a day trip - a lot to see there. You will have a great day when you take your kids there.

  • 1/5 Steve R. 3 years ago on Google
Too much like a fairground and not enough animals. Also worried about the safety aspects in case of a fire - there is only one exit and that was badly signed. Maybe I'm being a bit harsh because I'm sure local council Health and Safety would have addressed the probability. It would be a super day out for 7 to 11 year olds.

Amazing day out! Best place I've been to in a long time. The staff were lovely especially the lady who was at the hippo ride she was amazing with all the kids. Great variety of animals. Was lovely going in with the birds, bat's and lemurs! The play park and water park were also brilliant. Cannot fault this place at all.

It has been years since I had even and again Drusillas did not disappoint. New rides plenty of places to sit disabled friendly. The shops are amazing. And to top off we was lucky to see some of the new born animals. Although you can pay at gate try and book online before the day you go is a bit cheaper.

Absolutely love this place. Play parks, a splash pad, a soft play and a zoo, what more could you want for a great family day out!? We visited last August with our 2 year old and this September, with our 3 and 1 year olds and Nan too! A number of food outlets and little stores mean they have everything on site you could need. A must go if you're in the area

One of the best zoos I’ve been to. Entry fee is £30 for adults and children under 2 go free. There are a lot of animals to see and a great park to keep the children entertained. A few reason for giving this zoo 4 stars. The souvenir shop was really poor and only sold teddy’s really. Also the main cafe wasn’t open but they did have a second which was open. We didn’t get any of the food there due to the price it was very expensive for any zoo I’ve been before, felt like I was getting charged Disneyland Florida prices. On the plus side there are lots of local places you can grab a bite to eat.

  • 5/5 Kerri M. 2 years ago on Google
Great experience! I took my 2 year old daughter and she absolutely loved it! Loved that she could 'stamp' the animals that she saw as she walked round, it really got her involved. The park itself has a great range of animals. We enjoyed feeding the parakeets (small additional cost). The splash zone (not open all year) was a big hit too! Strategically placed at the end of all the animals so you can spend the rest of your day in the splash park and the play ground. Some restaurants /eating areas weren't open I think was due to Covid but we took a pack lunch anyway. The little train ride was really quick but it was a cute novelty. There are also rides to go on which are manned alternatively. There's a dinosaur area with animatronics, a walk through with lemars and a farm yard area. Lots to see and do! A great little park and we will certainly be returning!

Always great to come back here. Plenty for kids to do, food is of a good quality in the cafeteria. Kids play area seems to grow and grow every time we come back. Animals look well kept and healthy. Staff attentive and friendly. Well worth a visit.. dont drive past. !!

Fun for all the family and the close encounter we took part in is really interesting and the kid loved it. The parks food places don't tend to really be open during school time which is a bit dissapointing but we had a great time nonetheless. The play park there is pretty awesome (I even had a go!) and there is definitely something for everyone here. The animals look cared for which is the most important thing and seem to thrive in their surroundings. The baby monkeys stole my heart.

Amazing zoo and experience. We went to do the sloth keeper experience which was absolutely brilliant and our guide, Helena, also helped make it a special and informative encounter. The zoo itself is very clean and spacious. The animals are clearly very well looked after and the staff all knowledgeable and friendly. We visited on a weekday in winter so ate in the Outpost Cafe. Prices were very reasonable for food and the portion of the jacket potato was generous! There is so much to see at the zoo and lots of activites for kids. Although we don't have kids it was still a very good day out!

The zoo is interactive and big with an incredible variety of animals, from sheep to parrotlets to sloths to anteaters! At 4pm the penguins are fed and it was enjoyable to watch. Throughout, a Drusilla's staff member gave us a talk on the penguins. We learnt that one is named Monster Munch. The play area is also large and great for kids of all ages, although as a 20 year old kid I was slightly heartbroken that the trampoline was strictly for young children only. Their picnic area nearby was good too - lots of space and seating. The cafe opposite the gift shop at the front is also a pleasant addition, they make a good hot chocolate. ☕️ I hadn't been to Drusillas since I was in secondary school (gotta love school trips!)... and I have to say I am so impressed with Drusilla's Park. It is accessible for all, largely sized, and despite whether you're a 5 year old child or an adult like myself, there's always something fun to do. ps. I recommend taking a look at the owls. They look so wise.

We took our sons 5 and 18 months and had an amazing time. It was such a full day and actually really good value for money. The zoo was fun and the boys loved the rides. They could both go onto all the rides as long as they were with an adult. The animals all seemed really happy and I was impressed at how clean the penguin enclosure was. We had a brilliant day and we are already talking about when we can go again.

This is a really great family day out, just very expensive! We won free tickets, otherwise for a family of 4 for one day out, out is out of our price range, as I imagine it is for many. That said, we had a wonderful time. It was August and probably the busiest it gets, and still there was plenty of space to see the animals. Some areas were very crowded, but we didn't queue that long for anything. All the staff we interacted with were really friendly and helpful, even though they must have been so hot! Our 4 year old seemed to enjoy it more than our 6 year old. Almost everything is included in the ticket price, including all the rides, so it was great that we could say lots of yeses!

  • 5/5 Diane A. 1 year ago on Google
What an amazing place to visit. Took our 6 year old grandson and he had a great time. Lots of animals to see and great interaction things to do. He loved all the climbing equipment sadly we ran out of time to do the water themed area. Allow yourselves 4/5 hours to see everything. We sadly ran out of time. Good places to eat and a large area with tables if you take a picnic. Will return ...

Good place to visit with children. Very busy in the school holidays, so if you have pre school children best to go in term time! The annual pass is good value for money. Only negative is the cafe/restaurant. Not a very good selection of food. Also quite pricey. Shame really as they could have a lovely restaurant there serving fresh food. Probably best to bring a picnic. Apart from that a good day out.

Really great place. It is unbelievable that so many attractions can be packed in a relatively small area ( the car park is roughly the same size as the zoo plus play grounds). Despite being dense, it does not feel cramped - you will find quieter places and attractions for the whole family. Hippopotamus pendulum was my favourite! Tickets are a bit pricey, but the park is well maintained-well glass could be cleaned more often at some animal spaces, but it's not the big deal. Very friendly staff. We will come back. Thanks guys!

Drusillas Park runs through my veins having visited since a child. Several members of my family have and still do work as part of the Drusillas family but my work bestie had never been - the only answer to that was to build it into our project plan and make it an end of project reward/day out. We were big kids for the day, had a fantastic time and will definitely be back again! 🦩🦜🐒🎠🚂

We wanted to make the most of our last day of holiday so decided to make a slight detour to Drussilas Park on the way home. Easily one of the best parks I've been to with my daughter. Child friendly rides (we loved the Hello Kitty theme), educational/interactive sections, animals, splash park, ample amount of parking and refreshments available. We noticed they also have animal encounters but unfortunately didn't have the time to meet some sloths. I'd definitely recommend visiting on a warm day so to make the most of the splash park!

Lovely day out. Everything is well placed and well sign posted. Couldn't get lost if you tried. Food a little pricey but it is everywhere at amusement parks. Couldn't have asked for more. Even though it's small , it has plenty to offer. Take some swimming gear for the kids and plenty of water.

Brilliant places to visit, we had a great time saw lots of animals and so much to do there for kids of all ages. Book tickets in advance as it makes the visit a lot cheaper I think you can save 20% compared to turning up on the day. Free car park with plenty of spaces staff are so friendly and knowledgeable and the you can tell the animals are well looked after. Worth the visit if you are in the area. Easy to get too straight off the A27.

Unbelievably good day out! Fabulous for children, even 1 year-olds! Most rides, etc are free, which is most refreshing. The staff are really nice, the food is good and there is Starbucks coffee! The animals are well looked after and very visible. Everywhere is really clean, which is a magnificent feat! One of the best days out this granddad has had, and I could even go on the rides!! 🤣 Highly recommended. Buy tickets online and save a few quid!

Great for those with younger children. Lots to see and do. Not too expensive, and lovely that all the sit on rides, that you normally have to chuck a quid in are completely free. As is the small arcade. Friendly staff, who really made our visit special.

We did the red panda experience and it was absolutely wonderful. It was about 45 minutes but we spent a good 30 minutes with Drusillas' two red pandas. I'd absolutely recommend a) visiting the zoo and b) booking this or another experience. Absolutely magical, even in the rain.

Great place for a day out with the little ones, educationally and for leisure, my children are now a little on the older kid range, so they have outgrown the play areas, though they still had fun in the splash zone and they still enjoyed the zoo, this was our last trip here.

We had an incredible day at Drusillas, there was plenty to do, attached a few photos to show our day! We visited during a character day and our son met Bluey and Bingo! Lots of rides, activities, so many animals, cafes are nice, staff are very kind! A huge thank you to Rio who let our son on the big slide when they were supposed to start closing (due to rain), the lovely lady working in the doughnut shop who gave us more doughnuts than we paid for and Lauren W and Kim who were working at the Panning For Gold desk, all the staff were very smiley, very chatty and polite

As always, it was a brilliant time. It's been a couple of years since we were last here, and you can see the investment made over that time. The animals all seemed well cared for, and all the keepers we spoke to were kind, friendly, and spoken passionately about the animals in their care. The volunteers were engaging and knowledgeable. Play areas, soft play (wonderfully cool on a hot day), rides, and especially the spash pad were a big hit with the kids (3, 6, 8)

  • 5/5 Vicky C. 6 months ago on Google
Fab day out. Park went to great efforts for Halloween. Zoo has a great selection of animals and very interactive for children. Rides were all free and other attractions and great for kids. Soft play is brilliant. Had a jacket potato in the restaurant which was lovely and decent price. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

I was quite disappointed to be honest. The large play structure was completely out of service as was one of the rides. There was a number of activities you had to pay extra for like the bouncy castle slide and looking for gold activities. After paying £37 per person ( shocked, I haven't been in a few years but honestly couldn't believe the price!) I was really underwhelmed and will not be rushing back.
