We got there around noon and the line seemed long but, it was moving pretty quick. It was great. Honestly we went at the end of March the weather was beautiful, the people were nice, restrooms are clean, didn't buy any food. All the aquariums were clean, there were plenty of fish to see. The line at the little Starbucks was kinda long but the drinks were good just like pretty much any Starbucks. We had a blast. My family loved it. If you haven't been, I highly recommend it.

Admission is pricey but it's an awesome aquarium and worth it, especially when the splash pad is open -So make sure to pack a towel and swimsuit. My kids love to end their visit here. They've also got plenty of outdoor tables to sit and eat. My 6 year old always loves catching the quick 4D movie. It's educational & always changing. The newer addition has a great shark tank and a big dome where birds can fly around. It can get pretty steamy in there, so worth checking out before the day gets to hot.

This is an awesome aquarium! It's arranged and set up very well. They have so many up close viewing areas and good information as you go. The otter and dolphin exhibits are really cool. Plan on spending most the day here. It's family friendly and the parking was super easy and convenient. Food is kind of pricey as you would expect. They also have a starbucks in the lobby. This was definitely worth the price of admission and we loves every second!

One of the best aquariums I ever been to. And probably the best for kids. What made it special for the kids were the variety of touchable animals and many of the exhibits have glass domes the kids can crawl into for a 360° experience. We also really loved the dolphin show. I’ll let a few pictures say the rest. We changed our tickets into a membership so we’ll be back for sure! Can’t wait for the new splash pad!

I do recommend that you get there early. We were the first people in the door that day and we were able to enjoy everything with out the extra people. The kids really enjoyed being able to experience the see life and all the hands on station. We were also able to see them feeding the shakes in there big shark tank. The dolphin show was really good as well. Make sure you find good seats at least 20 minutes before show though. After looking at everything thought we would go through one more time by then it was pretty packed. But we had a wonderful experience.

My wife and I came here for our anniversary, and let me tell you...it stole the show!!! The staff was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and extremely helpful!! The animals were beautiful, the whole facility was extremely clean, and the interactive sites were amazing!! If you get the chance to do any of the up close shows, DO THEM!! We did the Sloth Meet and Greet (as it is my favorite animal) and we had a blast!! The staff answered all of our questions, and were very patient and helpful. They also offer Fish Feeding, but we were not able to do that. Over all this quickly became our favorite part of the trip!! It was an amazing experience and one that will be hard to top for our next anniversary. I have included some pictures just to show you how great the sloth meet and greet was. P.S. Covid has limited them a bit, but they are doing everything to sanitize, and keep the place fun and clean at the same time!!

We enjoyed the dolphins show at 3 pm (two performances a day, another at 11 am). The salads at Shoreline Grill was great. The facility could accommodate special events and was designed for multiple purposes (including the splash park, which was not used when we visited). The 4D movie was nice (surprised to be the only viewers during the show). The whole experience was well worth the entrance fee. Highly recommend!

Loved the Aquarium! Great place for kids and adults! Very educational and interactive. My 5 year old loved being able to pet the shark and sting rays. The splash pad is open but we did not go on this visit. The gift shop has a range of things to purchase at a reasonable price.

Great place to visit and very well kept up. I enjoyed the displays and the employees there really get excited about their work. All the animals were very well kept and the 4D theater was amazing. Learned a few things I didn’t know. Will visit again for sure and recommend anyone in the area to go as well.

I try and take my daughter to the splash pad hair every single week. They have wonderful food you can eat she really enjoys the pizza the drinks are always cold and there's lots of kids to play with. The splash pad is just a wonderful place that's actually located inside the Texas state aquarium. And after that I normally like to get a Starbucks Coffee and we walk around we see the different attractions she always likes to watch the dolphin shows where they jump out of the water and they splash everyone. Overall it's a very wonderful family oriented place and it's a wonderful place to take any member of your family from as well I highly recommend you try out the Texas state aquarium.

My husband and I came here with our children for family vacation back in June and we were so blown away and impressed! They had the most amazing display of sea life that we have ever seen! We are from the Dallas area so we have really nice aquariums there. However The Texas State Aquarium has the best and most unique sea life we have ever seen before! We were really impressed with the sharks! Another thing that stood out were the dolphins! We had never seen dolphins before so that was amazing! I’m sad we didn’t get there early enough in the day for the dolphin shows that they have. But it was still amazing to see the dolphins and to watch them do flips in the water! The other thing that makes this aquarium stand out from the rest is the really nice splash pad they have in the back for the kids! My kids loved playing in the pirate ship on the splash pad! We loved the Texas State Aquarium so much and we plan to come back on our next family vacation!

I think the price point is a little high for the size of it. Also at $40 a person, parking should probably be free. We did not eat at their snack bar so I cannot speak on the, but over all it was a good experience. The dolphin show was pretty good but I think is should lengthened to 30 minutes, to make that price point a little more reasonable. And of course there is an over priced gift shop, where you can spend all the money you want, and get almost nothing in return. Stay away from there and you'll be good. Other than all that it's a great way to spend a few hours.

My sister used her membership and invited my son and I to come out and enjoy the new HEB Splash Pad. The kids had so much fun. Not a whole lot of seating so we got here as soon as they opened at 10am. There was a line to get into the water part, but since we got there early we found a really nice spot. My only complaint is that there isn't much cover so you need to be there before it opens at 11am. Fun for the whole family!!!

What a beautiful place to be. Gorgeous aquarium with emphasis on teaching. This is such a wonderful spot to visit for both young and old. The tanks are impeccable and gorgeous and the dolphin show was an absolute BLAST! The flamingo feeding was super fun and definitely recommend paying a little extra for the fun experience.

A great value for the admission fee which included the 4D show. A wonderful, educational experience. Very clean and spacious including extra safety precautions and sanitizing. All of the water exhibits were amazing and clean. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. Will definitely be going back! Loved everything. Make sure to pay for your parking at the entrance if buying your tickets online (only $5) to get the token to exit the parking lot.

This is a great aquarium! The individual areas are basic but it is amazing due to the dolphin show and 4D theater that were included in the price of the ticket. We arrived to both 15 minutes early and had no problem getting a seat (NYE holiday and Covid restrictions dis not impact us). We also bought online in advance so we could get a $5 discount per ticket which adds up for a family! You do have to pay for parking and the Starbucks was horrible (long wait, understaffed, no tea for the guest in front of me and luke warm coffee for me). But the aquarium was fun for all of us and easy to do with a family.

This aquarium was amazing!! We brought our 7 and 9 year old daughters and they had a great time! My 9 year old loved the interactive exhibits, especially the sting rays. We all enjoyed the dolphin show. The staff was knowledgeable and available to answer questions about any of the animals. It took us about three hours to do everything we wanted and my girls were sad to leave. We will definitely visit again when we’re in the area.

Always a fun and educational time. We've been coming here for years. The exhibits are just getting better and better everytime we visit. We decided to book the Feed The Fish tour for our honeymoon, and of course it was a wonderful time. We got to feed sharks, lion fish, and sea turtles, and pet a baby alligator. It was awesome! Our tour guide, Eli, was so knowledgeable. You could clearly see the passion he has for marine biology. And, he went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and happy. I hope he and his supervisor see this review. We really enjoyed our visit. Can't wait to go back the next time we're in Corpus

It was fun! 1st time visiting with my family. We went on a Monday to prevent large crowds. It was so awesome experiencing the live sea animals. Got to feed manta rays, turtles. We got to touch some southern sharks, starfish, manta rays. It was awesome. Dolphin watch was neat. Sanitizer stations all around the aquarium. Restrooms super clean. 10/10☺

I am so happy that Texas State Aquarium had $2 week. Thank you for giving so many people the opportunity to visit your establishment without paying full price. (Especially now during a pandemic.) 🙂 I was pleasantly surprised at the growth of your exhibits and how beautifully kept it is. My grandkids loved everything about the aquarium. I cannot wait until the shows are up and running again. I will definitely visit again, $2 or not. I think it is completely worth it if people take their time to really enjoy each exhibit. The bald eagle was my favorite!!!

Wonderful aquarium and VERY accommodating. All the seats for the dolphin 🐬 show were taken and I had my service dog 🐕‍🦺 with me. I asked her to please sit where handicap wheelchair space is up front because service dogs are equipment like a wheel chair by law and she said yes. As I went into the area with all the birds 🦢 and flamingos 🦩 which is wide open and NOT caged they said nothing about my service dog and allowed her inside the gigantic forest room. This was very nice of them because usually zoos have a zoo keeper stay with my service dog while I walk through the bird zone. I thanked them at the end of my day and they said they always allow service dogs in the bird area unless they exhibit a bad behavior. They were super impressed with my girls off leash skills. Wonderful array of sea life and super friendly staff.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this aquarium. My family always makes it a point to come here every year. The dolphin show is awesome. The staff is very friendly and informative. Admission is a little pricey but it  supports the wildlife rescue and conservation efforts in the Gulf of Mexico and the Caribbean. Highly recommended 👌

Great aquarium! We went through everything in about 4 hours. My kids enjoyed the splash pad as we got a chance to rest and eat. We loved the dolphin show! And the 4D experience was a nice final touch for us. Some sea creatures you get to touch. It was overall a great experience and I'm sure we will be back again.

A bit crowded but it was amazing. The exhibits are wonderful, lots of interactive things for kids. Great ticket price, but the giftshop is expensive. The dolphin show was my favorite part. They do great work to teach people about cleaning up the ocean and why plastic is bad for the environment, and also helping to conserve and rescue animals.

Great place to visit while in Corpus. Lots to do. Prepare to spend for 3-4hrs. There is a gift shop inside. Food is not the greatest and expensive. Similar to what you expect from a major amusement park. Since there is a lot of construction in the area, expect to get lost to find the parking lot and to get out. Entrance cost is expensive but worth it.

We loved seeing the dolphins and touching the sting ray. We learned a lot from one of the guides about the amazing sea turtles. The Caribbean area is beautiful with tropical fish, sharks and even birds. Overall this is a very nice aquarium and we can't wait to come back to visit.

The aquarium is just the right size; enough to fill most of a day but not so much you’re overwhelmed trying to get everything done. Lots of interactive spots and the 4-D movie is an experience. Our only regret is we didn’t put on sunscreen since it was mostly inside and we got sunburned during the dolphin show. Kids really enjoyed it, though!

What an amazing place to visit! There’s a lot of animals to see. It seems like they’re well taken care of. They have enough room and get fed all the time. A really nice aquarium with indoor and outdoor exhibits as well as a really great splash pad. There are good food options inside as well as a nice dining area where you can look out over the Gulf and see dolphins as well as pelicans diving for fish. There are also 4D films included in the entrance fee which is great. We watched a :15 BBC film about sharks and they were also offering Happy Feet during our visit. $40/person seemed a little steep but they do rescue so that does help to supplement that worthy activity. Exhibits are new & well kept, gift shop is really nice, workers are helpful & kind. Worth a visit + students can get a slight discount with id.

I will start off by saying this was the coolest aquarium. I've ever been to! Everything was super clean, the service was good, they had plenty of wildlife to look at, the shows were Amazing. The only downfall is that everything is pretty expensive, but overall, it is still 5 stars because of the quality of the visit. we'll definitely go back if I'm in the area.

Great aquarium! The dolphin show was shorter than expected and not worth waiting for in my opinion. If you really want to get a seat for the dolphin show then you'll want to grab them 30-45 minutes early. If you have kids, be warned, there's nothing to keep your kids entertained while you wait. Otherwise it was a great experience and a ton of fun, would highly recommend!

We love going to Aquariums when we travel and this one was a treat. It started from out front at the blowhole and continued through all the exhibits. Be sure to view all those outside too! The Dolphin habitat and show are wonderful. If you have the time, once you have seen the performance from above ground with the humans, I can suggest watching the dolphin show from the lower viewing room. It will give you a better perspective of these incredible creatures! Easily the best Aquarium in Texas and probably in the top 5 we have been to.

I took my siblings and parents here on a Friday afternoon, I saw other reviews mentioning wait times so I did purchase tickets and parking ahead of time and definitely if you want to avoid a crowd come during the week! Everyone had a great time and it was much appreciated that many exhibits were indoor accessible or had shade coverings. There was so many species here I would recommend to have at least 2 hours to see everything. My favorite was the dolphin Merlin I thought he was so adorable because of his swimming upside down. Another bonus was the beautiful view of the Gulf Of Mexico from outside the aquarium where the otters are🩵

My family and I had a blast. I do recommend buying tickets in advance to avoid the long lines to buy tickets. My group was over 10+ people. When I went up to pay, I was advised that for future reference for a large group of 10 or more, you can book in advance to get a group discount. Anyone having family vacations, I recommend calling to book your group to take advantage of the group discounts. After looking at what they have to offer as well as the dolphin show, you can cool down at the small water park they have in the lower level. Make sure to come early to take advantage of everything they have to offer. Bring extra clothes and towels!

There were a few cool things here but overall I do not think this aquarium was worth a $40 ticket. We had two adults and one youth. I was disappointed in what this aquarium had to offer. There was limited tanks and sea life. I was very disappointed that there wasn’t a way to see the dolphins outside of the show times - there was no exhibit to just see them swim around. You could go up to the tank where they had the show, but you couldn’t see what they were doing as it was not meant to be a viewing exhibit. The otters were never out every time we stopped by. The sting Ray exhibit outside was always so crowded and water was very dirty. You couldn’t see the sting rays unless they were very close. The Caribbean animals was cool but nothing spectacular. The things we did like were the Caribbean tank with the sharks and sting rays and we liked the overlook on the third floor as you could see out over the ocean. It was a very nice view in the Caribbean outlook and in the outlook from the main floor. We had a good time, but I was just expecting a whole lot more for $40 a ticket. I would say this is worth half that price.

We hadn't been here since the new expansion. Wow it was definitely worth it! As always very clean and well organized and everyone is super helpful and friendly. The animals are always well looked after and cared for. We love the work they do here and how they inspire people one of whom was our oldest who is now a marine biologist! My kids love this place. They have a great splash pad that is open in the summer. If you live in corpus and will go more than twice, just buy the season pass. Not a lot for adults after the first time. But again, the kids love seeing the animals. Also, try to stay for one of the dolphin shows. It’s nothing like a sea world but it is still amazing to see those beautiful creatures.

Still a very good aquarium to visit!!! Large in size! Both indoor and outdoor exhibits! Staff is friendly! Plenty parking and it is a 5.00 parking fee. On certain days, HEB sponsors a 2.00 admission fee! That was great!! This is a DEFINITE recommendation to try for family, friends or date!!

Great place to sight see and visit. They have many exhibits featuring many aquatic and land animals. The sloth is definitely a site to stop by and see. A family outing for everyone located in corpus christi tx. Sharks jellyfish and bald eagles plus sea turtles. I would say u could spend about 3 hours just reading and doing the activities while seeing all the exhibits. Bring a camera and take tons of pics.

Highly recommend the "Feed the Fish" tour! While the tour says for ages 6 and over, I won't bring any children under the age of 12...this was a 2 hours behind the scenes tour, you are on your feet the entire time. I would highly recommend this tour for couples or families with teenagers...it really give you a different perspective of the Aquarium and everything they do behinds the scenes to keep the animals healthy and happy.

I had higher hopes for this place, should have fixed their fish tanks before they bust and kill somebody. unfortunately several of their exhibits are leaking which makes me kind of wonder how they're doing so if you visit make sure you spend lots of money so they can fix their fish tanks

The dolphin show deserves a star alone! So I give the experience 3 stars. It looked like a lot of the animals were sick, swimming into walls, it was really sad. I mean overall it was a great time, we spent 3hrs there. At $27 a ticket I should've stayed for 5hrs. I hope the animals being rehabilitated get better! The view of the bay and the Lexington are phenomenal. Bring a stroller for the kids(or $7 for a double stroller), a sweater & a baseball hat for outside and sanitizer! They don't allow drink or food inside you have to purchase but they do have water fountains if you can't purchase drinks! We'll def go again later in the season to enjoy the splash pad!

A great variety of different marine, avian, and other related species. The aquarium is split into four sections like Boardwalk Gardens with otters, Dolphin Bay, Gulf of Mexico with jellyfish, and Caribbean Journey with flamingos and sharks. Not as much variety as the aquariums in Chicago, for instance, but an interesting and beautiful aquarium that helps rehabilitate injured animals. They have a Starbucks and a cafe if you ever get hungry. Animal Encounters and Feed the Rays are each held 4 times a day with dolphins shows mixed in. A great amount of interctive exhibits with sharks, rays, hermit crabs, and urchins.

We did the feed the fish tour with Kassie. Kassie was an AMAZING tour guide, the whole tour was absolutely worth the money. We learned a lot and got to feed some amazing fish. The animals are very well cared for, the facility is clean and easy to navigate. Definitely worth a trip if you are in Corpus Christi. 10/10 recommend the tour. 10/10 recommend even just going to walk around.

As an aquarium enthusiast, I was very impressed. It is comparable to a major city aquarium (Shedd Aquarium....Atlanta Georgia’s aquarium, etc). Corpus has a good variety of exhibits that can easily last you 2-3 hours. Their main shark exhibit is massive and they offer an interesting dolphin show.

  • 5/5 Tiara H. 3 years ago on Google
Don't skip out on the dolphin show! It was so cute and fun, we got to see it twice during our visit!

Beautiful aquarium with friendly, knowledgeable staff. There are so many interactive encounters with the animals included with general admission. Great way to spend the afternoon! Highly recommend a trip. Fair warning, you may get startled, wet or cold in the 4D theater depending on the movie.

This place is awesome. Due to the pandemic, they had the 3D theater close. And we went on the 2$ days. You can touch the stingrays and starfish. Learn so much about our coastal environment. Trip all around will take you about 3 hours if you take your time and look around. But overall fun experience.

Disappointed with my visit. Was hoping with the new renovations it’d be a nicer aquarium. Feel like the fish look sick and lifeless. Dirty tanks. Something to do in corpus but by far my least favorite aquarium I’ve ever been to. Definitely not worth the price in my opinion.

I love aquariums and this one was nice, but limited in displays. They only had sea animals from the Caribbean and the Gulf, which was done very nicely. We went on Community days, so only paid $2. It would not have been worth it if we would have paid full price. Because of the special they didn't have any shows or a few other things, but still we saw it all in about 2 1/2 hours.

Wow this is a very cool place. I got to hang out here with the 1st time and it was very nice with all the fish and all the attractions the staff was extremely friendly. I spent over 8 hours here and could not have even imagined that there was so much to do here. It's over lunch time I spent an hour just in the sun up on the top floor on the ceiling of the building it was very nice and it was quite enjoyable. I recommend anyone who wants come out and hang out at this place. It's well worth the $35 I spent to get through the door and between all their wonderful food and all the good drinks it was just quite the day that was here.

  • 5/5 Mory Z. 2 years ago on Google
It was very fun to visit, there were plenty of animals to look at. I really liked how you could read about the animals as a species as well as the animal in particular. All the staff were nice, and it was just an overall fun trip for the family, a date, an outing, or just a fun place to go.

  • 5/5 Ángeles M. 2 years ago on Google
It is awesome! We spend all day there, my kiddos enjoyed a lot, they love the dolphins show, the 4D movie theatre, the splash park. The food was good and wasn't expensive at all. We spend around 200 dollars for 4 people on total, including the entrance to the aquarium, parking lot and food.

It's definitely changed in the last 10 years since I've been there. Super nice with a super friendly staff. They've added new attractions since and looks like the are going to continue to add on. One thing... I recommend you buy your tickets online if your not a patient person. I didn't think about it, but I would have.

We lucked into some amazingly temperate fall weather when we came. Some of the exhibitions are outside so it made exploring very comfortable. Its got a really great vibe since it's a state owned institution. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable and really seemed to care.

Fantastic aquarium to visit! As a M.S. degreed marine biologist, I truly enjoy hitting aquariums everywhere I go. The Texas State Aquarium is spectacular. My two daughters really got into the dolphin show. We liked it so much that we saw it twice during our visit. The stingray touch tank was a favorite and we got to feed the silky smooth rays as they swam around in their enclosure. Other highlights included the Caribbean Sea overlook tank with 6 sandbar sharks and a sizable Goliath grouper, extremely vocal and friendly Caribbean flamingos, the river otter exhibit, a notable jellyfish display and several reef tanks built to resemble the various aquatic habitats off the coast of Texas. Located just north of Corpus Christi the TX State Aquarium is well worth a visit on your vacation.

  • 5/5 Denise W. 2 years ago on Google
This was the highlight of our trip! Loved the Texas State Aquarium which was so much more than an aquarium. A definite must do if in Corpus Christi.

  • 5/5 Jon T. 2 years ago on Google
Awesome aquarium for the whole family. They have a large amount of different tanks to view and they have a lot of different spicies of sea life. They have a really good dolphin show that really displays how smart those dolphins are. We spent well over 4 hours there, and we could've been there longer hadn't it been time for them to close.

  • 4/5 Ashley B. 2 years ago on Google
First time ever in Corpus and my husband surprised us with a trip the the Texas State Aquarium! We had a great time and our daughter loved it!! Absolutely loved the dolphins 🐬 ❤

  • 5/5 Dead W. 2 years ago on Google
For my family and me, there are really only 2 reasons to come to Corpus Christi. This aquarium is one of them. They pack so much entertainment in to their space. And they are set right along the ocean so the view is outstanding. I also appreciate the fact that the staff are willing to stop and have a discussion about the exhibits or guide you when you are trying to find your way around the facility.

  • 5/5 Diana B. 2 years ago on Google
I like to visit this aquarium at least once a year. Hopefully there are plans to expand it. Perhaps they will add a history section that focuses on the early groups who lived along the coast line, shipwrecks, major storms, ghost towns ... Perhaps they can offer cooking sessions on how to prepare fish caught out in the gulf. I absolutely loved the flamingos! Must have spent thirty minutes watching them.💕

  • 4/5 Octavia W. 1 year ago on Google
This was a decent aquarium however I expected a little more for it to be the "state" aquarium. I loved the dolphin show and enjoyed the otters. It's nice but the Dallas world Aquarium was much better to me. The so called snow cones were overly priced and they used extremely hard ice. The cans of soda were $3 which is very high when you can go to a convenient store and it a bottle for less than that. We did not eat there b/c we refused to pay those high prices for basic food. I'm glad my son got the experience though.

  • 5/5 Dawn B. 1 year ago on Google
This was our second time visiting the aquarium and it was just as much fun, if not more, then the last time we came. The Dolphin Show is really fun to watch, there's so many different exhibits to look at. The touch tanks are located throughout the aquarium and have everything from stingrays to hermit crabs. Watching the Otters play in their tank is the best for me because I love otters. We were going to enjoy the splash pad that they have on site but our toddler got cranky towards the end of our aquarium visit so we didn't go to the Splash Pad but it looked like a lot of fun it's pretty large and there's a lot to do on it.

  • 5/5 Marcy N. 1 year ago on Google
Our family loved it! So many gorgeous creatures! The kids really enjoyed getting to see them all and even pet the sting rays and little sharks. Plus it's really nice the aquarium is so focused on education and conservation.

  • 5/5 Chloe V. 9 months ago on Google
Really great time here. Plenty of interactive activities. Fed stingray, touched hermit crabs, touched some kind of small shark . Easy to spend several hours here. Eat in advance because the food costs a lot ! Bring a refillable water bottle. Was crowded on a Tuesday. Lots of children

  • 5/5 Stan B. 11 months ago on Google
We had a organization event at the Texas State Aquarium during an evening where it was reserved for our group. It had been several years since last visiting and was impressed with all of the work that has been done. The exhibits were amazing and informative. The staff working that weekend was so helpful and attentive. The dining venue hall was perfect for our group with amazing views of the water and even some dolphins swimming while we ate. If you haven’t been to the aquarium do yourself a favor and go. If you are going during the day there are plenty of shops and restaurants to hit before or after the aquarium visit. Have fun!

  • 4/5 Taylor K. 9 months ago on Google
It was super expensive! It was definitely an experience. The kids loved it. With the price to get in and the gift shop, it'll probably be our only visit. But I'm so glad we got to.

  • 4/5 Hannah B. 11 months ago on Google
A well organized educational aquarium for all ages. Parking is $5 and this is paid with admissions unless you're not parking your vehicle then you don't have to worry about this. Admissions for 2 people with tax was about $80. There are snack shops in the aquarium that also serve beverages. We didn't experience any of the live shows but there are a few throughout the day in the outdoor tanks. On the smaller size but was a really nice rainy day activity.

  • 5/5 Briana 10 months ago on Google
We travel around the US in our camper and always visit any local aquariums when we can. This one did not disappoint. Just be sure to eat and drink BEFORE you get there, at any of the restaurants nearby. This place is way too expensive for food and drinks. I wanted an ice cream after being out in the heat, but not enough to pay $6+ for a small soft serve. Awesome place otherwise. All of the staff there were very friendly and knowledgeable.

  • 5/5 Jo-Ann R. 9 months ago on Google
Amazing time! A little crowded, but thats to be expected on a weekend! Love going there! There's plenty to see and I love how we are able to interact with the sharks and stingrays! My fave was the dolphin show. They are the cutest! Definitely recommend for family time!

  • 5/5 Ronnie F. 9 months ago on Google
Beautiful aquarium! Very interactive with so much to see and learn. Shows and events happen all day and are interactive too. Like feed the rays or the dolphin show. Get there early to get food before it's sold out and a seat for a show or you'll be SOL. Loved it and will come again!

  • 4/5 Shay T. 8 months ago on Google
This was worth the price to get in. It's a great place to go as a family or a date. They also have decent food and beautiful look out views. They also do wildlife and sea rehabilitation and rescue for animals. My daughter and I went and we spent a good 4 hours there. Most families just bought the membership. We decided to pay full price so with parking and 2 people we paid about 85.00. but again it was worth it. If you have small kids bring towels, sunscreen, and extra clothes cause they have a small water play area.

  • 5/5 Rory O. 8 months ago on Google
We visited with 4 kids. 8,5,3,3. There was something for everyone. The dolphin show was really fun. All of the areas had great displays with awesome features for the kids to see. The big aquarium was amazing. The kids loved seeing the sharks swimming around. The new splashpad was amazing. The kids really enjoyed the slides and the giant tree. Everything was super clean and the staff was great. Will be back next year.

  • 5/5 Elizabeth P. 6 months ago on Google
I definitely recommend getting a family membership. We've come several times and have yet to see everything and it never gets old! The staff are friendly and go out of their way to be helpful. The parking is ample. I also love the idea our entrance fee is contributing to the welfare of the animals here and rescue efforts!

  • 5/5 Jacob B. 6 months ago on Google
Fantastic aquarium! And I’ve been to my fair share of aquariums. I highly recommend a stop if you come. I was lucky to go for a work event so it’s a great option for hosting events. The large shark tank is a real show stopper. See if you can find the giant grouper. They have a coupon tanks that you can see from the ground floor and view from the top on the second floor. The flamingos and other birds and a very pleasant surprise!

  • 5/5 chanele d. 6 months ago on Google
We did the shark encounter this weekend for my son's birthday. It was SO AWESOME. Absolutely worth the money. There were 6 sharks, 2 eels, and 2 rays. We got to see all of them up close. Our helpers, Abbey and Amberleigh were FANTASTIC - they were so helpful, knowledgeable, and so enthusiastic about the program. They made sure we had the best time and indulged our curiosities. We will absolutely come back and do this again. Every other employee that we encountered was helpful and courteous. The HEB splash pad was fun and Shoreline Grill had some delicious food.

This is one of the best aquariums I've ever been to. They have huge displays and many interactive stations for real life participation. I've taken large groups of high schoolers there and they are extremely accommodating and helpful! The staff there are very knowledgeable and friendly.

INCREDIBLE!! If you haven’t been in a few years, you will be absolutely shocked (in a good way) by all the upgrades to the facility and new exhibits. I have not been since 2016 (I’ve been coming since my first birthday before that and I’m 31, the age of Shadow the Dolphin) andspi came with my mom and toddler today. We were able to enjoy four full hours here with no crowd. The facility is spotless and all the animals look so healthy and well cared for. There’s a new rooftop exhibit that has amazing botanical features. Just go check it out!!!

  • 5/5 Jen Hamilton H. 5 months ago on Google
It was our first visit and we added the Feed the Fish Exclusive Encounter and did that at the beginning of our visit. That ended up being a great way to get a bit of context and background on each of the exhibits while providing a hands-on, interactive experience for my 9 year-old son. I appreciate their dedication to sustainability and wildlife rescue and rehabilitation.
