This
is
a
cozy,
bustling
restaurant.
I
was
seated
right
away
even
though
they
were
busy.
While
food
was
hot
and
came
quickly,
service
was
generally
inattentive
and
I
had
to
flag
people
down
to
get
what
I
needed.
Then,
they
brought
the
receipt
before
I
asked
for
it,
while
I
was
still
eating.
The
ambiance
and
theme
of
the
restaurant
was
very
inconsistent
-
the
apps
and
desserts
are
largely
American
standards
while
the
entrees
are
exclusively
Asian.
While
they
are
a
restaurant,
they
also
are
kind
of
a
bakery
for
vegan
cake
orders.
The
music
choices
were
very
strange
and
included
the
Brahms
lullaby
used
to
put
children
to
sleep.
And,
they
are
very
pushy
about
trying
to
guilt
people
into
being
vegan,
which
is
not
something
I
appreciate.
The
food
was
solidly
just
ok
-
the
appetizer
pops
were
a
reasonable
approximation
of
crab
rangoons,
but
not
as
sweet
or
deliciously
crispy
and
oily
as
they
are
in
a
Chinese
restaurant.
The
Thai
fried
rice
was
boring
but
comforting
(I
wish
they
had
brown
rice
listed
as
an
option
to
make
it
healthier).
Their
dessert
menu
is
large,
and
I
tried
the
oreo
cheesecake.
I
miss
real
cheesecake
so
that
was
exciting!
Their
version
could
pass
as
real
dairy
cheesecake
-
not
a
high
end
one
like
Cheesecake
Factory,
more
like
the
type
you’d
get
at
an
average
chain
restaurant
like
Red
Lobster.
It
didn’t
have
a
ton
of
flavor.
It
feels
a
little
bit
like
this
restaurant
is
living
twenty
years
in
the
past
-
they
don’t
integrate
any
of
the
high
quality
meat
substitutes
available
today
into
the
menu
(at
least
that
I
saw).
They’re
using
seitan
and
wheat
gluten
and
unidentifiable
protein
lumps
instead
of
JUST
Egg,
Beyond
Meat,
or
Impossible
products.
I
would
really
like
to
see
them
update
their
menu
and
make
it
more
cohesive,
and
improve
their
service.
I
might
occasionally
go
back
if
I
happen
to
be
in
the
area
and
craving
vegan
dessert,
but
I
wouldn’t
go
out
of
my
way
to
stop
by.
