This is such a cute spot!!! Very Instagram-able, vegan and vegetarian friendly, with AMAZING brunch! I've driven past this restaurant so many times on the way to the arboretum and I'm so glad I finally got to check it out. Don't get me wrong, I love meat, but they really delivered on flavor and experience with their vegetarian dishes. I tried the tofu scramble instead of eggs and was really impressed. Their garlic greens especially blew me away (and really stank up my breath but it was worth it). Their mimosas are a bit pricey but the juices are delicious and they pour strong. I'll definitely be back! Lots of street parking with a 2 hour limit. I recommend driving into the neighborhood near the arboretum for the best chance at a spot.

Probably could have rated it 3.5 but the food just wasn't so amazing and a bit bland. They count the snacks as a part of a course as well as the palette cleanser which would have been fine if everything was delicious but unfortunately not the case. The main course of pork was probably the best although very small portion. The menu made it sound like there would be intricate dishes but the taste just wasn't there. Dishes looked a lot nicer than what it was. Service was quite good and the restaurant ambience lovely. Shame about the food.

As a non-vegetarian who grew up in a vegan household, I have done my paces and tried more varieties of vegan food than most while having a unique perspective as a regular meat eater. Nowadays, my significant other is vegan and she was a tenacious follower of Totally Awesome before they were even on the road. We have since visited them somewhere near a dozen times and not once have we been even marginally disappointed. Not only is Totally Awesome some of the best vegan food I've had, it is some of the best *Food* I've had; no qualifier necessary. While you can't go wrong with anything on their menu their cheesy bacon fries are a true standout as one of my favourite vegan treats ever. 'Cheese' sauce made from carrots and potatoes and housemade tempeh 'bacon' (the best faux bacon I've ever had at that). It has to be had to be understood and trust me, you want to understand. Rest assured, the lady and I will be back again and again because when it comes to vegan food in Portland, there isn't anything quite as Totally Awesome.

This is an incredible food truck! They have amazing Vegan food that is always worth the visit: deliciously spicy Korean dogs, cheesy bacon fries, wonderfully juicy burgers, filling breakfast items, refreshing drinks, and more! It also seems that they’re always working on potential menu items, so it’s never long before a new offering appears to tantalize out tastebuds. Plus, the family that owns the truck is so very sweet that I never even mind waiting in the rain for my order if need be.

This place is so delicious. Love it. Probably the best vegan brunch in town. Portions are perfect size and feels good -- the prices are a bit high but totally worth it given how much food you get and how tasty it is. Staff is also lovely and super sweet and helpful.

Seattle’s Madison Ave CAFE FLORA is confident in its locally sourced, vegetarian, and creative food. From its use of pickled (flora-rich) red onion and cucumber, to tasteful ingredients like persimmon compote, flavor is abundant. Pancakes are delightfully light, bread is sourdough-homemade-fresh, and beverages sparkle with options such as cranberry-sage fizz. Atmosphere is fall-in-love cozy, clean, and welcoming, servers care about your food-contentment. Portion sizes are generous, left overs were delicious too!

Visiting Cafe Flora made our Seattle trip extra special. The ambience is superb, food and drinks are top notch. We chose a table in the garden where we enjoyed the beautiful weather while eating. I had an Espresso & tonic, and Peaches & Cream Pancakes which are both perfect choice. Service is also amazing! This is a must place when you’re in Seattle!

Ridiculously overpriced for what it was. Small portions throughout, I left the restaurant still hungry and I don't overeat generally. Awful vegetarian menu, my main course was 3 bites of artichoke. And the canapé of a solitary radish was the least inventive and most underwhelming thing to eat. Inflation of wine menu is terrible, 2 glasses of wine are the same price as a bottle anywhere else. Have had much better quality food at cheaper Michelin restaurants. Will not be returning or recommending to anyone.

I visited cafe flora during thanksgiving weekend with my friend. We were early like 10ish so we found a table quickly. They have nice vegetarian options available. We ordered the vegetarian biscuits Ann’s gravy along with sweet potato fries. Their biscuit and gravy is delicious and I will go again for it. Overall had a very good experience. By the team we were leaving i could see the wait time for table go up. They have ample seating so not a big problem.

Friendly staff and great ambience! However we had to wait quite a bit for both the table and the food. The food was okay, but the mushroom gravy was amazing!

We don't often do fine dining as the atmosphere isn't usually our thing but we loved it. We are both vegan and gluten free which wasn't a problem. We had the 8 course and they were all amazing. Would recommend!

This is a lovely restaurant and after having eaten there we easily understood why it has had a Michelin star for over 25 years. We had booked a late lunch for the 5 course menu with a complimentary glass of champagne. The restaurant exterior is quite unobtrusive and is in a parade of other restaurants/cafes and small shops. Inside on the ground floor the restaurant is divided into 2 dining areas, one in the front of the building with about 8 tables and a larger dining area at the back with about 10 tables which is still quite small but a mirror along one wall makes it feel much larger. The entrance is between the 2 dining areas Upstairs are further dining areas including a chef's table. The food was very good and full of flavour. Bread was served with the champagne - a marmite brioche, focaccia and crusted bread. The canapes were smoked eel which I don't normally like but this were excellent. The first "main course" was called the Garden of Eden, a cold dish of small vegetables including potato which were cut so they stood up on a thick mushroom sauce. The effect was the dish looked like a small forest. It wasnt quite what I was expecting but the mushroom sauce was amazing .For the meat dish we were served pork. Thinish strips of pork which were placed in a circle surrounding a lovely ju in the middle with a small piece of belly of pork with crackling to one side. Not only was it a very generous portion but it was beautifully cooked and well presented. For the first of our two desserts we were served a lime sorbet with a greek yoghurt, a perfect palate cleanser, and the second dessert was a chocolate dessert which full of flavour and not too heavy. . The service matched the food and was excellent. The staff were friendly, attentive and personable and not intrusive. All the courses were served in a timely manner without any long pauses and at no time did we feel rushed though it was getting quite late. The wine list is comprehensive and reasonably priced for a Michelin starred restaurant We thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to Pied a Terre and we look forward to going back there again

I can't understand how this place still keeps a Micheling star. My wife invited me to dinner at Pied a Terre for my birthday in September. We had to leave after the third dish of the Chef's tasting menu (yeah, the long, "surprise", overpriced one). Food was totally bland, mainly composed of dull tasting soups with crumbs of food such as liver or other things that didn't actually match the taste. Service was bad, very bad. Demotivated waiters and a sumiller that wouldn't explain anyting about the wine pairing other than provide a very brief, factual explanations of the wine without any context on how the selected wines pair with the dishes. I haven't experienced this in any other restaurant with wine pairing (Michelin starred or not). When my wife got the bill, they had the audacity of overcharging us for the wine and over half of the menu although we didn't actually had more than half of it. We're thinking of filing a formal complain. Recommend to avoid this place at all costs.

VEGANS..having read that this was the No.1 resturant to go to, I'm afraid it didn't live up to it's rating, and we were rather disappointed. I was expecting to be wowed by the flavours and presentation but found it very average, and heavily over seasoned with salt. There was little ambiance and the atmosphere felt flat. You can see that at one time it would have been a lovely place, but it needs updating and to get it's sparkle back.

Great food. My vegan friends loved it too. Not the most affordable good for everyone, but you get what you pay for. The deserts are a must try. Salads are not the best but the other entree are really palatable.

Delicious! The asparagus and eggs with potatoes were so good! Also the cinnamon bun melted in your mouth! However, the chai tea was just ok. We liked it so much, we came back a few days later. Highly recommend!

Here for the weekend. Found this spot searching for vegan restaurants near me. It did not disappoint. Sunday brunch. Had the southern platter - tofu scramble option. Side of hot sauce. Delicious 😋 the service was excellent. Appreciate the ID check against vaccine proof and staff safety precautions. One less than 5 star as the density of the biscuit in the dish was a bit too much for me. I prefer a fluffy light biscuit. This may be a unicorn request in the vegan world. Other than that - 5stars all around.

I really love this place! Here's the deal.. *Expect a wait during typical busy hours - we had a party of 5 on a Sunday morning (prime brunch time!) and had over 30 min wait. There were multiple parties waiting outside and the host/hostess would come outside and yell your name when your table was available. It was a bit chilly on our morning so be prepared as there is limited inside space for waiting parties. *The food is AMAZING. Everyone loved their food, no doubt about it. I got the southern platter (vegan) because I wanted to try a few different items. It came with a biscuit + mushroom gravy, tofu scramble, and garlicky greens. I also got a side of roasted potatoes - worth it, we all loved 'em. Decent sized portions but I certainly didn't have any food left for leftovers. They offer baked goods as well but I didn't sample any on this visit. *Drinks were underwhelming. I ordered my second latte of the day here and I must say, my first one was better. The mimosa was rather small (especially given the cost). Coffee was also small (hopefully that was unlimited refills?). *Decor is great. The wallpaper decor is fun and I love all the plants. Very cozy atmosphere when it was chilly outside! *It's a bit pricey. No surprise for this kind of spot. ...all in all, I look forward to visiting again.

Delicious! I am not a vegetarian and this is my first time here. I find the staffs to be super nice and welcoming. The food and drinks are served with generous portions. The grilled corner bread with pear is absolutely delicious; the pumpkin pancake was super tasty and so are the potatoes and eggs. I really enjoyed their golden milk too. Highly recommended for a delicious and healthy brunch.

We visited on a Tuesday evening for dinner, the place was completely booked. Had a 20 minute wait and after being seated (we knew what we wanted), we still had to wait to put in our order. The ambience was casual and cozy, lots of light and plants. The food was amazing! Shishito peppers were fantastic and so was the burrata plate! I got the pesto risotto, which was the best entree. The other entrees were so so.

I had such a wonderful time at Cafe Flora! The ambiance is so wonderful, and the employees are extremely kind. There is an indoor and outdoor dining room, both of which have lots of natural light and plenty of seating. It was such a pleasant space to be in. On to the food, although I am not a vegetarian I am so glad to see more vegetarian restaurants popping up around Seattle. It seems everything (or at least most things) on the menu can be made Vegan as well which is great. I had a hazelnut latte which was delicious, not overly sweet which I was happy about. I also had the kale and artichoke dip which was very yummy as well. The bread to go with it was perfectly toasted. Cafe Flora is absolutely worth a visit for your next brunch - I will definitely be returning!

10 on 10 for atmosphere. You get a choice of AC, non AC closed or open area. Food is good. Options are unique, taste is good. They also have dishes that contain egg, so don't assume everything is vegan. Very limited parking space but free, so assume you'd have to park on road. Service is good. Food quality is excellent. A bit pricey, but also similar to any other vegetarian cafes in town. Don't forget to try the coconut cake

Cafe Flora is a must try! I tried to kale caesar salad, southern breakfast platter with tofu scramble, and of course the massive cinnamon. Kale salad was ok, but the rest was phenomenal. Everything tasted fresh and incredibly flavorful. The restaurant is beautiful and comfortable. Staff is efficient and friendly. It was very busy but I was eating alone and was seated quickly. Just about everything in the menu can be made vegan. Will be back for more tofu scramble and cinnamon roll!

Very tasteful options and great staff. Selection is limited but everything is prepared with good ingredients. Food is full of freshness and taste. Their parking is super tiny and street parking is mostly full. We parked in the paid parking which was cheap, like $2.79 for 2 hours. They have coffee for free and ample seating area.

Fabulous ambiance. The wait was about 30 minutes for weekend brunch. The orange waffle was amazing but the banana pancakes were dry and had very little flavor (why skimp on bananas?). They have a very interesting drink menu and everything's moderately priced for the Seattle area. Service was poor, we were never asked how our food was or we would have sent the pancakes back. I'd go back again if I had plenty of time, especially for the earthy/floral drinks.

After two visits I have to say I'll never dine here again. Both times, the service was so abysmal it was shocking. I was embarrassed to have suggested this place to my friends after our experience today. This Sunday, it took over 20 min and two requests to the hostess to send a server to us to even get waters. Orders were forgotten. The winter scramble had two tiny Brussels spouts and a few slivers of red pepper.... Not worth the price at all. A dish went uneaten without comment, staff should have checked if there was a problem. We never got coffee or water refills without making multiple requests. I finally had to get up and get them myself. During my first visit to CF, the server also was unable to attend to the table as is expected and reasonable. Cafe Flora desperately needs support staff for the servers. It's unfair to both the employees and guests to leave servers so over extended that they are unable to do their job at a basic level. We all left dissatisfied. Manager made a half hearted effort, but $2-3 off for each person really did nothing to make up for being mostly ignored for the two hours we were there. 1 star. Do not recommend.

I’ve never been pre-charged for dine in before. Is this normal for this particular establishment? I don’t like prepaying before actually dining because you include the tip, which the lowest preset amount is 18% as opposed to 15%. You could select “other”, but you always hope for good service, but I digress. I was not checked up on or asked how my meal was. I would have liked to order dessert, but no one asked or followed up. I also would have liked a to good container. A yellow flag should have been when my server brought me two empty glasses and not water. We all have spacey moments or bad days, but if that’s the case could you tell your partner, so that s/he could cover your lapses? Also, would this even be an issue if you didn’t have to prepay? What incentive is there for someone to do well if you have to prepay for the tip? After waiting for a while I just decided to flag down someone. The food was okay. I like ketchup for my fries and when I requested it, I was given cold ketchup, which I understand. It was in one of those plastic 2 or 4 ounce condiment containers. Things like this and not being checked on is not 18% tip worthy service, in my humble opinion, but they already took the money. I had the French dip - 4 stars. All the above mentioned just overshadowed the food though.

This was literally the worse brunch I’ve had in Seattle. The Tofu was hard, overcooked and over seasoned. The same with the greens, overpowered by some weird garlic flavor. Roasted potatoes were dry and cold. And the pancakes were gummy and chewy. Definitely would not recommend. Super expensive as well wish I could give negative stars

I am a vegetarian and generally am limited by the food options when I go out to eat. I don't enjoy impossible vegan stuff because it feels like I am eating meat. However, this is an amazing place. So many options to choose from and everything in the menu is delicious. I tried french dip sandwich and it's the best sandwich I ever had. Mind you it tastes best with the dip they give. Heavenly! PS - I generally don't write reviews and not a connoisseur of any sorts. But it had to be posted. Also it's vegan friendly. Just in case you were wondering 😛

Some of the best vegetarian food I’ve ever had. I like that they labeled the dishes you could request vegan, gluten free and soy free. We ended up having appetizers, entrees and dessert and everything was truly excellent. Anything you order will be yummy. Can’t wait to come again.

PaT offers everything you would expect from a Michelin starred restaurant: knowledgeable sommelier, politeness, excellent execution, great flavours and ambiance. I highly recommend the deer and pork mains. I wouldn't say I was particularly surprised by anything that was served ... it is also worth noting that one could go to Roux and dine at 2/3rds of the price. However it was very enjoyable and I would go back again.

Disappointed by the restaurant. We've been there end of November. The menu was okay but a bit overpriced, but we expected better for a Michelin star restaurant. The members of the staff are nice and respect the covid restrictions (i.e masks) EXCEPT for the manager... That day there was someone filming the restaurant (the Economist if I remember correctly), so first they filming first and then asked us if we were fine with being filmed (which we were not but they should have asked before filming...) and when the manager asked us if we were fine to be filmed he came literally right next to us without a mask, basically he was the only one not wearing a mask which made us very uncomfortable... Very disappointing to see a Michelin star restaurant with a manager who does not respect the distanciation rules while the rest of the staff does... And thanks to the owner for replying in the comment on the only mistake we did... you are right we were there end of October instead of November. Hope that the photo of my reservation will be enough for you to take into account that the restaurant did not respect the rule to wear mask for all the staff. Again the waiters were wearing it and were really nice.

Very disappointing experience. There are many other Michelin-star restaurants which will give you a much better experience for the same budget or under. Despite the circumstances, I'd still expect pleasant and attentive service, as well as inventive food. This was not the case. Our table was neglected, service took a very long time with no apologies, we had to remind the team to bring the wine on the course which had been served for 15 minutes... Do not recommend, unfortunately.

Just come from a tasting menu dinner at Pied a Terre. Frankly very disappointed. 2 of the 7 courses of the vegetarian tasting menu were quite inedible. One so salty that everyone left it, and a stuffed tomato full of bland and mushy rice which I couldn’t bear to eat. The matched wine with the over salty Jerusalem artichoke was thin and acidic to the point of undrinkable and the Riesling was entirely overpowered by the (admittedly delicious) lime sorbet - though they forgot to serve the promised Greek yogurt part of the dish to the non vegans on the table. Not worth to £200+ per person we paid for a tasting menu with matched wine. To be honest, I am rather surprised that they hold a Michelin star given the mediocre food and experience.

Read about this restaurant and said that they’re trying to regain the lost Michelin star so was having quite high expectation. The first two courses of the tasting menu were good. Flavours all worked and ingredients were fresh. Unfortunately, it went downhill from there. Although snails were cooked to perfect, the sauce was way too salty. The ravioli was only a whole snail with the same sauce inside so not sure the point of wrapping it to make into a ravioli. Perhaps different way of making the filling of the ravioli would make the dish more interesting. The seafood dish was cooked ok but then the acidity of the celeriac was way too overpowering. Rabbit was cooked nicely but then again the sauce was too salty to the point of inedible. Cheese dish was good. Pre-dessert was very limey which may help to cleanse the pilate. Dessert itself was nothing very special. The coriander ice cream was nice but the pineapples made the dish tasted cheap. Overall, the food was not outstanding or even specially good. Given it costs over £100 per person for the tasting menu, we would expect much higher quality. With this price range, there are quite a lot more places offer much better food.

We got the pancakes and the southern platter with tofu. It was awful honestly. The tofu was super dry, the greens were flavored poorly, and the pancake was gooey. The worst food I have had in Seattle. Oh and the potatoes (we paid $5 for a side) looked like they came out of a bag you would buy at the grocery store. They were not the potatoes I saw in other reviews. Never going back here again!

So conflicted... went here tonight to celebrate my birthday and support a local business. Just me and my husband. Online the patio looked pretty enclosed so we asked to see it before we ordered and paid. FYI- They make you order and tip at the front cashier before you are seated on the patio. We figured we would either eat there or take it to go, depending on how safe the patio seemed. The hostess took great offense at this and was extremely rude, refusing to meet our eyes for the remainder of the interaction. I was pretty surprised because I’ve always had great service there and hey, we’re in a pandemic. Is it really strange to want to know about how close people are seated, and if, in fact, the patio is just as enclosed as being indoors? Just don’t know what to think.

I’m getting hungry just posting this picture. And I just had dinner. Was there earlier and today & thankfully beat the rush (around noon), so was seated immediately. I think the pay and seat option is efficient for people getting in and out despite it being a more sit-down place. Definitely unique choices, from their sweet & savory options, to their drinks. I was so pleasantly surprised with their tofu scramble. It was my first time having a tofu scramble... so I didn’t know what to expect, but man, that flavor 😗🤏🏼 (closest thing to chef’s kiss) To all my vegans out there... you’ll have plenty of options despite it being a veg place. I miss brunch already 😢

Ridiculously delicious and filling comfort food. The bacon cheesy fries were the best post-race food I ever had when the truck was at the Maine Half Marathon last fall. I love their reuben, the brekkie sandwich on a pretzel bun, and everything else I've tried. It all hits the spot.

This is my 3rd time visiting Seattle and somehow missed this gem on previous visits. We are vegan and definitely recommend coming here. We ordered the yam fries and cinnamon roll as apps along with the new Midsommar Shandy and the Rosemary Lemon Drop. Both were great drinks but the shandy was very special and delicious. The Cardamom Rose Latte was the most unique and delicious coffee drink I've ever had. The Rhubarb Ginger waffle was delicious and the Colorado scramble was decent. Also the host and wait staff were friendly and attentive. It seems they replaced or trained the rude hostess other reviews mentioned.

Cute little brunch spot in the city. Absolutely love the ambience and the vibe here. The cinnamon rolls here are definitely one of the best I've ever eaten. However the avocado toast is a tad bit hard and not the very best. They have vegan options for almost everything. The rose cardamom oat milk latte deserves a special mention. A must visit spot whenever you're around.

One of our favorite places to go for brunch- even the airport location. Food and drinks always feels worth the price, as everything is so thoughtfully made, plated, and sourced. My VERY sensitive mostly vegan tummy can eat almost anything on their menu and feel so comfortably satisfied. The Valentine’s Day dinner we experienced yesterday was so sweet, and hope to do it again 💗

I get to know Cafe Flora because I love their Flora Bakeshop in Beacon Hill. I came with friends for lunch and we were promptly seated in the make·shift outdoor dining area that was their parking lot. Appreciate that they are giving ample space between tables. Great atmosphere and decor. Food and service were good, not amazing so. I enjoyed my frittata, although its portion was on the smaller side.

Great heathy brunch options! Also loved their signature latte and the ambience (was seated next to the water fountain which was nice). The only cons are the wait times, must come early (9-10am) on the weekend to get a table right away! Was easy to find parking in the neighborhood and it is a nice area to walk around afterwards.

Flora has some of the best atmosphere you’ll find. Feels like eating in a sunny, happy, and care free oasis no matter the weather outside. This is especially true of brunch time. We go regularly and often sit in the sun room or on the new covered back patio. Abundant vegan options that are clearly marked on a vegetarian only menu. The cinnamon roll is a must and also a wonderful sharing start for a group. They are large and can easily give everyone the hint of sweet brunch deserves. Pair with a coffee or chai and you are set. I normally order extra hot as beverages often come out on the cooler side. For entrees I normally get the biscuits & gravy as it satisfies all my comfort food desires. The dish looks simply but the mushroom gravy will bring you happiness. The seasonal tofu scramble is another solid bet and is changed throughout the year to keep things fresh. The staff is quick and helpful with a varying degree of friendly to cordial. Service is normally quick even when the restaurant is slammed on weekend mornings. The wait can be quite long to get in, though, so arrive before 10am when Seattle is still asleep.

Excellent menu, it was tough not to choose many items. We ordered the fries, mochi dish, and squash quiche with grits. I would have liked the quiche to be bigger for the price but the flavors were most excellent. Unbelievable how vegan food can be made so tasty with so much variety and gluten free too! I personally found the drinks to be a bit sour/acidic for my taste, including the latte but my friend fully enjoyed them.

I had an amazing dining experience at Cafe Flora. The vegetarian menu offered an impressive variety of flavorful dishes, and the presentation was really good. The cozy ambiance and friendly staff made the meal even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for exceptional vegetarian cuisine.

I have been going to Cafe Flora for years now and couldn't speak more highly of my experience. I have tried all of their other cafes/locations and this one continues to be the best. While expensive, the beautiful atmosphere, sweet staff, and vegetarian food, it is worth a visit! As someone who is vegetarian and has a nut allergy, their menu is clear on its ingredients and makes me feel safe compared to some other spots.

Good vegetarian food. Lots of vegan options. Nice quality ingredients that are locally sourced. I personally loved their tofu scramble (the substitute for their eggs). Very filling food and the portions are good in size. It's a super busy place.

Must visit if you want to have soul-satisfying, creative vegetarian food. Whole menu is vegetarian with mix of different dishes such as Pizza, Burgers, Soup etc. They also have some vegan options. Place itself is very pretty with Fresh Flowers and Plants of all sizes around you. Service is equally good.

Good food and ok coffee. Staff is friendly and helpful. Lines are long and the wait isn’t pleasant. I liked the bright big windows but it can get cold. Worth trying and experiencing for yourself, just be prepared to wait.

This place is great for any vegetarians or vegans. I come here with my mom almost every weekend. We live vegan and we love coming here. Plenty of vegan options. Very kid friendly. I would reccomend the scrambles they have tofu scrambles too.

A cozy, but spacious place for a good brunch. The vegan options were great! I was taken aback by how impressive the cinnamon bun was, despite never having been a huge fan of cinnamon buns.

Really unique atmosphere, coupled with great vegetarian dishes. It someone easy to tell this cafe is pushing to cater to non-vegetarians by expanding their selection. The breakfast menu is my favorite!

Cafe Flora is so dang good, it's almost hard to handle. They specialize in mostly vegetarian and vegan fare, but were recommended to me by meat eaters! That's how good it is. And the thing is - everyone knows it! If you go during prime brunching hours, you will have to wait an hour, sometimes outside. And others will wait too. It's worth it! My favorite thing is their breakfast quesedilla with the side of greens. Everything they make is equally delicious and healthy. Cocktails are excellent!

By far the best vegetarian restaurant I've been too. I have a few non-veg friends who I've taken here who have since fallen in love. Its just great food. They also have a lot of great, clearly marked, vegan options. And the servers normally even ask if you want to make your meal vegan (if that is an option for the particular dish).

Vegetarian for grown ups. We had portabela Wellington and golden vegetable stack the Wellington came with cauliflower, broccoli and a pretty good chunk of mash potatoes. The sauce had enough spice to it to add a little snap. The vegetables of golden color in the he stack were butternut squash, yams

  • 4/5 Ws K. 6 years ago on Google
Suckling pig starter was very tender, perfectly paired with smoked eel and crisp sweet cabbage. Octopus starter was average, slightly lacking in flavour for me. Main of red mullet was a great combination of flavour and texture - hint of coconut fragrance, with both crisp & tender fish. Service was slightly uncoordinated, but polite none the less. Overall, decent food with friendly service! :)

This restaurant is phenomenal. The food was well presented and tasted just as good as it looked. You have to put all the elements together to get the full flavor out of the dish. The chef is amazing. As good as the food and the a atmosphere was, the servers were just as good as well. We had to add to the tip because the country standard is not enough.

We got the 10 courses tasting menu, was OK, not sure how got the 1 star michellin... Waiters need more training and be able to explain the dishes.

  • 3/5 Jessica O. 3 years ago on Google
I had a very disappointing experience here. Given the price we paid and that it is a Michelin star restaurant, I expected there to be a higher standard than what you would get at another restaurant at the very least. Instead we had a poor experience which included asking for water top ups several times throughout our meal (one of us never had a top up the entire meal because they probably forgot), one of us requested something without sauce and the lady who served us seemed reluctant to accomodate and when we asked another waitress to assist with taking a photo, she was clearly impatient. The sommelier was lovely and helpful however, the general attitude of most of the wait staff was unhelpful and unfriendly. Unfortunately our enjoyment of the food was mostly overshadowed by this experience. The only saving factor was that owner David Moore and executive chef Asimakis had a good chat with us towards the end and gave us a tour of the kitchen which made the last bit fun and personal at least.

I can't thank the staff at Pied a Terre enough for making my wife's 40th birthday so memorable. They were so accommodating when I was forced to change my booking at very short notice, were able to adapt the menu to our gluten-free requirements and the food itself was absolutely amazing.

(Translated by Google) I always go to Mechelin-Star restaurants and have to say that the Pied a Terre was the least convincing. The dishes were prepared with little finesse and not very tasty. I also found it a shame that the associated wines were not explained particularly well. I like it when the sommelier can tell me something about the wine, but that was only the case to a limited extent in Pied a Terre. Unfortunately, the service was also only mediocre. Towards the end we were literally chased through the aisles and the area was cleaned up while we were still at dessert. Admittedly, we arrived quite late - 8.30am - but on the website it is described that you can get to 9am. Really a shame, but I cannot recommend the Pied a Terre.

Lives up to the hype. The setting is red, dark and broody. Service is exceptional, attentive and not intrusive. The disease imaginatively created. Ex, baby radishes served in a pot of soil (ground olives). The carrot soup, Jerusalem artichoke and seared halibut were all delicious. For dessert, try the raspberry "fancy name" tower, and the apple terrine. It is certainly a bit expensive, but imagination in cooking costs money. 😏

We went here and had the private room for a 40th birthday. Visited for brunch on Sunday. We ordered brunch platters and coffee. Our eggs were not seasoned enough and the coffees were a little too sweet. Would recommend that you serve Salt + Pepper with the food, as it gets difficult to get the server's attention with covid protocols around. Excellent Twitter feed that informed us about the outdoor seating available. I also found the garlicky greens "tooo garlicky" - very overpowering and I barely ate it. Rosemary biscuits were a little too dense. But the overall platter would have benefitted from seasoning.

Went back to Cafe Flora for some delicious Brussels Sprouts. They do a great job with social distancing in the restaurant. However, after sitting down for an hour, I was asked to leave because there were other people waiting for a table. After buying a full meal, coffee AND tipping 20% to the servers, I was asked to leave a restaurant because I was lingering. Unacceptable. Most people are not dining out often during Covid. So to be asked to leave a restaurant during your one weekly outing is not a great feeling. I may return for the Brussels Sprouts, but I will get these to go, so I don't have to deal with the terrible customer service.

We’ve been on the hunt for this truck since we learned of its existence! We had the chili dawg and BBQ pulled jackfruit and it was, well, totally awesome. We will be back!! Thanks, Tony!

Just had a black been burger on brioche bun at TAVFT. Indeed, it was awesome. Between the innocence of sinful vegan food, and the passion of the owner(s), this family run food truck is the best. Save the planet, eat less meat - eat responsibly. I love these guys and you will too! Bon Appetit!

Terrific service and awesome food. My only complaint is I wish there were more menu items because all the food is so good. Don’t skip on the fries!

Every chance I get I follow this truck. Amazing comfort food at its best. The burger is ridiculously delicious. Very filling. The "bacon" fries are to die for. And, the Korean street dog, well, it's amazing. If you see the purple truck, please give it a try, even if you're not vegan. You will absolutely love this food!

Ordered to-go online. Walked in 20 minutes later, it took an additional 30+ minutes. No apologies, didn't even offer me a water....nothing. 50 minutes for take out is crazy, it was 2 entres and 1 was a salad. Unacceptable.

Lots of unique dishes on the menu. Best yam fries in all of Seattle! A real treat for breakfast and brunch! Can accommodate large groups.

  • 5/5 Cara H. 2 years ago on Google
I've never had a cinnamon roll this good, let alone a vegan one! The tofu scramble and potatoes were also tasty, but I would definitely go back for the cinnamon rolls. This is a pricy spot but you get what you pay for, which is large portions and quality food. The staff were also friendly and attentive. The whole place is cute and cozy as well, with Seattle mementos for sale near the register. Great location near the Arboretum for a post-meal stroll.

Food was amazing. Sorry to see them moving more towards vegan than simply vegetarian. Some of us like real eggs and cream. But, I suppose everyone is trying to be trendy.

Went with some friends for breakfast this past Saturday morning . There was a line - worth the wait! Pastries, hand pies, scones and bread to go. Also a tasty latte. So good and such a cute spot. The rooftop deck was a nice treat too.

Used to go here pre pandemic with my sister. Went here tonight as a special treat. It's still absolutely delightful, fresh and filling! :) I loved the mushroom risotto with arugula salad, the flavors went together so well (creamy and lemony with the crunchy texture from pine nuts). Your yam fries are my favorite fries on the planet. What a sauce! The atmosphere is also A+, low lighting in the plant area and a calm place to eat. I also recommend the pine grapefruit drink, so refreshing and not too sweet. Thank you for the meal!!!

Went there for brunch and did not have to wait long to get a table of 3 on their outdoor patio at the back of the restaurant. We had their cinnamon bun which was delicious. We tried their forager scramble, rancho Colorado scramble and frittata. All dishes were very good and filling. They brought a nice spicy sauce together with the ketchup. Seems like their cheesy grits are very popular and they were nice and creamy and cheesy. Service was friendly and fast. I tried their mulled maple and brown sugar latte which was good but did not really feel the taste of maple. A nice experience!

Very nice vegetarian restaurant. Has been in Seattle already for a long time. We had super tasty breakfast and awesome coffee there. Friendly and attentive staff!

One of the best Vegan breakfast I've had! Huevos Platanos I think they make it for non vegans as well. For me this was so delicious in every way. Just perfection and pretty too. There was a lot of food I was full the whole day well worth the money.

Excellent Food, Staff, and ambience. I lost my avocado toast virginity to this place and I do not regret it one bit! Seriously delicious food. I’ve come back multiples for more. Plus being right next to the arboretum is the perfect for a stroll after a delicious meal. Definitely a must if you’re craving vegetarian food with a beautiful presentation.

  • 5/5 Erin B. 2 years ago on Google
As a lifelong vegetarian I'm not accustomed to so many delicious options. The mulled maple & brown sugar latte was perfection. The food was fresh and creative. Service was efficient and friendly.

Friendly relaxed breakfast/brunch place. Three of us shared pancakes, scrambled eggs, and tofu scramble n biscuit. The pancakes won! Rich and cinnamony! The tofu n biscuit didn’t quite work. Coffee was decent. Service was fun and there was a buzz about the place by the time we left.

One of my favorite brunch places in town! They’ve a lot of great vegetarian options, I love the avocado toast and the biscuits/gravy. I also always get their americano, perfect accompaniment for brunch. If you get here before 10am, you’ll likely not have to wait, but after that it’s typically a 30 min wait but worth it.

One of the best vegan places around. The burger and SP fries were great. Haven't got a chance to try their brunch menu, something for next time.

Awesome dining experience, would give it a 4.5!! Food was yummy (a 4/5), service was quick and the atrium is lovely. Not too crowded on a Sat. at 9pm. The menu was a bit nicer and more interesting than expected. We tried the pasta primavera, nettle pesto risotto, french dip and artichoke dip. The risotto was definitely the best but a bit too heavy on the garlic. The mushrooms in the dip were very juicy but a crunchy baguette would have made it excellent. Would recommend this place to anyone!

Loved my dining experience here. The restaurant is flora themed and I think it's an impressive idea to theme a vegetarian restaurant this way. Food is top notch at least that is something I can say about the Italian burger. I also tried their Mango Pannacota for dessert. I would say well I have had better before. It was a bit on the tangy side which might appeal to some. I really liked their sweet potato fries that came with burgers. Another cuisine that I recommend would be - Coconut Tofu Lettuce Wrap. It was delicious. On the other hand the Lobster Mushroom Risotto was about average. Speaking of service, it was top notch - loved the waitress who served us. We were a group of 4 and we didn't order much. She was cognizant enough to check with us if food quantity was enough for all of us and if we are satisfied.

Amazing place with the best breakfast in Seattle. Yes it's vegetarian, but you don't miss out on anything. They know how to cook the perfect scrambles, their biscuits and gravy is better than any I've had before, and I love their cheesy grits. The atrium is such a pleasant experience with the natural light and plants they have, but the whole restaurant is just a great atmosphere. We've never had bad service here ever, everyone is always fun, positive, and attentive. We love Cafe Flora.

Wow, worth the hype! Had an impromptu brunch here on a Saturday morning, and only had to wait about 10 minutes for a table (for 2). Our entrees were so flavorful (we got the rancho colorado scramble and southern platter- the biscuits and gravy were AMAZING), and very filling. I wish my chai latte had a bit more kick to it, but not paying extra for oat milk was a plus! My fiancé enjoyed his oat milk latte. The mochi beignets were disappointing- a bit dense, and no real flavor. But they were cute lol. Plus the space is so cozy and the staff is lovely, so all around a great place to go. We would definitely come back!

Nice interiors.. the travelers chai was delicious. Italian black bean burger with yam fries was good too. Friendly service and wait time for Sunday lunch was around 20 minutes
