Great Experience ❤️ as we hike through the thick forest 🌳 to see the BIG THREE and the Bamboo Cathedral deep inside the forest. For best Experience contact Mr Noisty on ☎️+233 558712206. The Guide😍 was very Knowledgeable about herbs and wildlife conservation. We also had a community tour with Mr Noisty as we learnt about Gari Processing and Cocoa Processing. 🇬🇭

Whilst you're there try and see the Bamboo Cathedral - it's an amazing area with massive growths of bamboo. Camped out there once with a group and one of the group was an opera singer and he sang to us in this beautiful green haven. I will never forget it. And one of the things I am very proud of is being part of a large team that built the visitors' centre in Ankasa. It's a long way from anywhere, but worth the visit.

Had a great tour through the forest with our guide. His name was Amankwah Kwasi and he told us a lot of interest stuff about nature and the park. We really recommend it if you want to see some untouched rainforest!

I had a great time with some tourists at the Ankasa Conservation area, it's a deep forest comprising of numerous flora and fauna. In Ankasa You can find the Bamboo Cathedral, Big Tree, Ankasa River and many others. There's also a camping area for tourists that which to camp in the forest.

The reserve was excellent for birding, and the food was good. This place is a remote tent camp. The tents were very dirty and were not even swept out. The tents were oppressively hot at night, with no air flow, making it hard to sleep. Toilets & showers worked, but are a hike through the jungle and down a hill from the tents, which is not good.

We went for a family picnic - the forest is beautiful and the park rangers were helpful. The only issue is that the path to get to the picnic area (after parking your car) is not maintained so you have to walk through pretty tall grass and are likely to get bit by some sort of bugs on the way there

It's a nice place to visit because of it's biodiversed nature and the singing of different bird spices allows one to a enjoy all the true nature devoid of hazard and etc. There is a bamboo cathedral with a stream flowing through making nature very exciting to experience.

nice place to be. I visited in 2016. You need to wear boots and clothes to cover your hands and legs. Some little insects leave the skin itchy. The bamboo cathedral is a great sight to behold coupled with birds and other animals. The road needs urgent attention. I'm told it's still bad. In all it's a great place and you'll love it. Be there early to see the animals. Your tour guides are well trained

(Translated by Google) The rainforest in its purest form. We have seen traces and trails of elephants. A bush buck ran across the path. In Bamboo Cathedral, monkeys disappeared when we arrived. A guide is necessary. (Original) Het regenwoud in zijn puurste vorm. We hebben sporen en paden van olifanten gezien. Een bush buck liep over het pad. Amazing location for nature lovers. Be sure to visit the bamboo cathedral and the Ankasa river, these are my favourite spots on the reserve. Wear clothes that cover up your feet and arms. If you have an insect repellent apply some. There are tiny insects that bite and leave you itchy all over. Also it rains a lot in there and it’s muddy along the trails. I recommend wearing comfortable boots or wellies if possible.
