Absolutely delicious! I'm completely hooked on their food. Having sampled various items like bentos, musubis, and salads, their breakfast is undeniably outstanding. Tried the steak and eggs – incredibly reasonable in price, and the steak was among the best I've ever had. Even my mom enjoyed her omelette. A definite go-to spot for a delightful and satisfying meal.

Great food excellent choices. Real value for money half size plates for the smaller appetite As a tourist on Oahu it’s really “that small place in a strip mall in Kailua” you will remember and tell your friends about back home!

So happy we found this spot! The food was so good! Especially the korean chicken loco moco 😍 seems like all their locomocos would be good! Also tried their friday special and it was delicious as well! Will definitely come back the next time we come to Hawaii!

Great food First time to this place. Small little shop. With some amazing tasting food. If you in the area finishing up a hike or something. This a great place to fill that empty belly.

Amazing food. My biggest problem stopping in is that they have so many options, it takes forever to pick. I would give this location 5 stars but it's in a bit of a dive bar, which might be your thing but honestly would be better in a stand alone setting.

If you’re looking for a tasty plate lunch that won’t break the bank, this is the spot. Quality grinds and all the local favorites...and more...to boot. Check em out.

  • 5/5 S M. 3 years ago on Google
One of my favorite places to eat for nearly 17 years. Despite becoming way busier they never raised their prices and have always had the best tasting food.

  • 4/5 C. Wallace D. 5 years ago on Google
Very creditable Hawaiian fare, loco moco or teriyaki fried rice for breakfast quite hits the spot. Pleasant service.

  • 5/5 Fabricio Breeze O. 4 years ago on Google
This place is the absolute best! Great friendly atmosphere but the food is what I keep coming back for. We started with the goat cheese, beet salad and the abalone severed escargot style. Lick the plate amazing! For our dinner plates it was the seared scallops with their signature broke da mouth braised short ribs and the fresh fish special prepared so wonderfully with the yummiest veggies! Mahalo chef and crew!!!

Great food and fast service. If you don’t know what to try, get the gigantor plate to share. You’ll get a little taste of everything.

So far I've tried their fried saimin, chicken & ahi katsu, shoyu chicken and a few of their desserts - all really good! My favorite is the shoyu chicken. It's usually very packed every time I go, but that's expected. This place is bomb.

I actually really enjoyed the food. The prices were very reasonable and the restaurant and building are very nice, because of it being the gold club. The restaurant is open to the public and the location is very beautiful. If you get the chance definitely eat outside. If you get pancakes ask for the coconut syrup.... Super super good 👌

Located on the ground floor of the Ko'olau golf course and banquet halls. Spacious dining space able to accommodate large parties easily. Beautiful backdrop for picture taking. Open air seating available. Immaculate bathrooms

  • 3/5 Helen A. 4 years ago on Google
Quaint place. Had live music playing motown music and other early 70's. Of course some Bruno Mars tossed in. Menu was limited but good choices. Lots of parking. The bummer was, the elevator was out of order so my oxygen self had to walk down a flight of about 25 steps and slowly come back up them if I could. I loved the pictures on the wall of old time Local entertainers.

  • 4/5 Margaret G. 4 years ago on Google
We enjoyed our old school pau hana on aloha Friday with live Hawaiian music. The frozen drinks tasted like they use cheap mixers and the garlic bread was blah, but the pupu platter was very tasty. The mostly older crowd was happy and appreciative of the friendly space to listen to great music. We also got a little lost finding Honey's within in the conference center/golf resort. I think Honey's may have separate parking from the main parking lot, but we couldn't find it.

Serenaders group plays music here, think once or twice a month. Two in the group have wives iny hālau, Hālau nā Mamo o Pu'uanahulu. On 1/4/2019, a few hula sisters met to party and hula. Pupus 'ono too.

  • 2/5 Mary H. 4 years ago on Google
This is not a place I'd go out of my way to visit again. The music was too loud at dinner, so we had to move outside. Thank goodness the doors were kept shut. The steak and onions had an awful cut, so most of it was too chewy to swallow. They covered it with gravy (weird). We didn't order hamburger steak. The sweet potato fries were regular run of the mill frozen section at Costco fries. 3 of our 4 lumpia were burned. The only think we really enjoyed were the zucchini fries. We ordered the poke bowl and 20 min later was told they were sold out. They are open until 9, but close the kitchen at 15 after 7. Their website doesn't list their dinner menu, so we assumed the lunch menu carried over. Oh well. Lesson learned. The service was pretty good once we got someone to serve us.

My family and I was invited to Honey's by the Kaapana family, and I had a opportunity to play music with the Legend, Led Kaapana. I was very honored to play music with Ledward, brought so many memories to me of my dad playing music with Ledward and his brother, Nedward

  • 2/5 robert Q. 4 years ago on Google
3/15/20 Had the worst BBQ ribs ever. Rib eye steak was also tough as boot leather. However Led Kaapana awesome!!!!

Koolau Serenaders is a must see for any and all. They play beautiful sweet music from old to new and they never disappoint. You can never get tired of listening to them. And its sweet how they let our regular kupunas always do their hula, never gets tired. And Krissy is the sweetest bartender and the rest of the workers are always nice. They have a variety of onolicious food. Feels like backyard kanekapila

Try the "Kim Chee Steak, it's terrific! The meat is so tender & juicy. Also, try the Salmon w/ aioli sauce - another " Weenah"! Service is very personal & pleasant. Highly recommend for lunch. Not sure if they are open for dinner though.

We like going to Honey's. The food is good but on this particular night they seemed to be understaffed and our food took a long time to get to us. We waited a long time to even get a glass of water or a bottle of beer. The entertainment was exceptionally great. All in all we had a good experience. The waitresses were working hard ....they just needed more help.

This was one of my favorite plate lunch experiences in Hawaii! The lau lau + kalua pork combo (available on Fridays) was perfectly seasoned and cooked, tasting just like a home-cooked meal. Large portions and reasonable prices as well. The staff are very friendly too! Entrance is shared with a bar if you are coming from the front and it might look closed at first, but they are open!

Love their food, wanted to use them to cater for an event. Unfortunately the whole restaurant is going on vacation in July?! and they cannot accommodate us even coming to pick up the food we requested to purchase. Another person I know emailed them about a date being available and they never recieved a response. Good food... customer service is lacking. I hope they enjoy their vacation. We probably won't be coming back or directing people to go there anymore.

We’ve tried the food company a handful of times. They have a very large selection on their menu - something for everyone. The only downside is they close too early 😣 the photo below is the only one I can find in my phone.

  • 5/5 Sadie R. 1 year ago on Google
This place has it all: wonderful food, great prices, and convenience. I think this is still kind of a hidden gem because they've always been quick when I've gone in, but they deserve a line out the door. But just don't order the guava BBQ chicken because I get so disappointed when they run out. (It happened to me one time and I will never forget the sadness.)

We've been here twice in less than a week. The food is the bomb! We've ordered the Gigantor which comes with a little bit of everything and the grilled Ahi. The food tastes fresh and the portions are good. This is a takeout only, but you can find a nearby beach or park to sit down, just get creative. The staff is friendly and the food is ready relatively quickly. We only waited 10mins for ours. Totally recommend it!

  • 5/5 Mandy2.0 S. 1 year ago on Google
My husband got the ribs and I got a salmon bento. The food was absolutely amazing, we will definitely go back. The only downside was no inside seating but we went to the mini park right up the road. Thanks for the amazing food!

  • 5/5 Raymond M. J. 1 year ago on Google
Top quality and extensive menu selections. Prices are competitive with other serious Kailua competition. We order take out 2 times. Best in Windward Oahu

  • 5/5 Justin K. 1 year ago on Google
One of my go-to take-out places for lunch in Kailua. Plenty parking and online ordering makes it super easy. Food is terrific and the staff is always friendly. My kids also liking the food is a plus.

  • 5/5 Omar T. 1 year ago on Google
The best food I had in Hawaii hands down. Really enjoyed the meal and kind service. Highly recommend everyone to try it, looks like quite a lot of locals go here too and prices are reasonable. Had the korean fried chicken loco mocco and it was to die for. Amazing sauce, fresh chicken and great noodles. Well done guys.

  • 5/5 Ema S. 1 year ago on Google
Wow wow wow, best food I’ve had in awhile if not ever. It was like an home cooked meal made with so much love. Everything was so tender, fresh and packed with flavor and for a great price as well!

Amazing food. We stopped in to grab a quick bite before the beach and ended up coming back the next day because the food was so good. The people are also extremely nice and courteous. Definitely stop in for food here.

  • 5/5 Tim G. 4 months ago on Google
Warning! You will become addicted and gain a lot of weight!! The food is that good here!!!! I’ve been coming to the food company for 25 years. If you want REAL local food, come and get it!! My all time favorite is the Mochico chicken plate. On Fridays you can get the Hawaiian plate with very generous portions. There’s a bakery too! They also cater!! I’m so happy I found them again after they relocated!

  • 5/5 Johnny S. 6 months ago on Google
I happened to stop at "The Food Company" to get breakfast after a morning hike. Most of the other customers were local regulars, and I was not, but the staff was still exceptionally helpful and friendly. Ended up getting the "ultimate fried rice breakfast"--each of the four types of meat was delectable, and the fried rice + eggs + sauteed onions combination was marvelous. It lasted two full meals for me--a generous quantity with impeccable quality! For new customers, I would just add that the menu is best suited for takeout. Next time I'm back in town, "The Food Company" will be one of my priority stops. Thanks for making my day!

  • 5/5 Yoyo T. 7 months ago on Google
I love their laulau plate on Fridays! My only REQUEST is instead of using plastic containers, I'd love them to use paper ones. I'm more than happy to pay $1-2 for it. That's the only thing holding me back to go there more often. I'd go every week otherwise!

  • 5/5 Matt K. 5 months ago on Google
My favorite blends of Japanese & local style flavors/dishes, their food doesn't miss. Breakfast, lunch, or dinner, it's all good. 😋🤙
