This is honestly the most charming pub in Philly. Major Luxury uplevel British pub vibes. Every room is unique and decorated differently. We loved the room with the dogs pictures and the details are fascinating. French toast and English breakfast didn’t disappoint. Coffee as well. It was served in a very cute cup.

Been a few times and have always had a good meal. Most recently we did small plates and a drink. We did outside seating in their street build out. It was nice and intimate, but you do miss out on the pub vibe inside. The outdoor booths are heated which was nice on a cold rainy night. Had the ricotta sourdough and root veg soup, both very good. Also ordered a hot toddy which is no long on menu but they were able to whip up. Server was great, even going in/out when it was heavy rain. Highly recommend, previously I've done shepherds pie and fish and chips, also delicious. Can't go wrong with anything on the menu.

Went there solo. Was pretty busy so i had a table outside but it was right under the heat thingy, which was nice. At first service was pretty slow (but they were busy), but eventually I received the attention I expected. The Homemade Ricotta is to die for. The drinks were great as well. I ordered the fish and chips as a main. The fries were great, the fish was also great but the breading was salty in my opinion (and i enjoy salty food). Over all, I wish I was sat inside, but people watching is fun too.

We arrived 10 minutes prior to our reservation and were promptly seated upstairs. I should note that we chose indoor dining when we made the reservation, they also have an outdoor dining option. The room where we were seated had a wonderful pub ambiance with photos, art and drawings of dogs covering the walls. We started with the house made herbed Ricotta appetizer which came with enough bread for 3 to 4 people. We enjoyed the Fish and Chips and the Steak and Chips dinners. The food had great flavor, was prepared to perfection, and presented just as you would expect in an English Pub. The portions were more than ample. The meal was well paced, and we never felt rushed. For dessert we had the Chocolate Raspberry Trifle and Sticky Toffee Pudding. Both desserts were delicious and a great way to end our meal. Our server, Cristian, was attentive and helpful. We appreciated the prompt and courteous service. Thank you!

From the service to the great food, this place has a different atmosphere. Food is beyond delicious! You can’t be in Philly without treating yourself with the date pudding and cheese plater, and don’t get me started with the burger! The best. PERIOD. The Risotto is absolutely delish. And the shepherds pie!! Oh my oh my!! Simply, everything on the menu is worth trying.

My fiancée and I were able to get a table for two in about 20 minutes on a Saturday night without reservations. We split the deviled eggs which were really really good. She got the Macaroni & Cheese with the braised ham hock and English cheddar which had the perfect balance of flavor between the ham and cheese and a nice crisp on the top. I had the Rabbit Pie which was fantastic. The pastry on top was delicious along with the filling. The serving sizes aren’t overbearing which is nice if you are in Philly just for the day and don’t want leftovers. Between the deviled eggs, macaroni and cheese, and rabbit pie we were comfortably full. We probably could have split a dessert but didn’t want to overdo it. Service was fast and friendly and the atmosphere was very cool.

The food is excellent. 10/10, go for the food. The service is the only reason for the four star. The host didn’t make mention of happy hour, and when I asked after overhearing it a few times she said I had to move to partake (after just having ordered two dishes of food). The waiters checked on me twice, but to ask to clear my table (when I was still eating), and not if I wanted anything else. Seemed a bit odd. The atmosphere is incredibly charming. But! The food is very good. And the bread.

Long pull beers were delicious, as were every single plate we ordered. We don't often stay for dessert but the sticky toffee was irresistible! Love the dog themed dining room...bar is adorable!

Great service, good food and excellent location. They were able to accommodate us on a busy night w/o reservation by making a few changes to their tables, which I always appreciate. Our server was knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Food and drinks were brought at the right time and in sync. It is hard to point out our favorite dish as all of them were great! the steak with fries, which come with a fantastic salad was cooked perfectly. The salmon was juicy and very well prepared. The chicken was also very tasty and the mussels were swimming on a delicious buttery broth. Excellent location with a great English menu and ambience that makes you feel in London, right here in Philly.

This is such a beautiful and quaint restaurant. It makes you feel like you're walking into a cozy little English restaurant. You forget that you are in Philadelphia for a bit. The menu is so unique. One of our favorite things, that we saw, was that it had two tier and three tier platters that had many desserts and or many desserts and sandwiches. They looked absolutely delicious. The people we saw with those tiered trays were people who were sharing the items. The only negative that I could say about the restaurant is that it is not gluten-friendly. I had the shepherd's pie which was gluten free and I also had the burnt orange chocolate pudding. That did not sound very appetizing but I decided to try it anyways and it was absolutely delicious. It was by far my most favorite dessert I've ever had at a restaurant besides creme brulee. I love that this is a calm and relaxing restaurant in such a busy city.

What a wonderful place for dinner. I had the lamb shepherd's pie and it was truly delish! The atmosphere here is rich. A must go to in downtown Philly for a step back in time and wonderful food. Didn't realize til we left; they had outside "booths" that were heated. Fun experience on a chilly October night.

Fun afternoon place for great tea vibes! All of the rooms are cozy and their cups and plates are cute. The snacks/little bites for high tea were delicious. I loved all of them and the rest of my group did too (the scones especially were 10/10). While I myself am not the biggest fan of tea, the rest of my group enjoyed the tea very much. I would definitely come back here!

Wow! Came here for a team dinner and was blown away by the whole experience. The decor in this establishment is so well done and the food is fantastic. The homemade ricotta is out of this world. The deviled eggs were also delicious. I ordered the tandoori chicken for dinner and the portion was so large. It looked like I barely ate anything but I tried my best because it was SO good. The chef sent out a variety of little pastries for dessert and the little chocolate cake was one of the best things I've ever eaten. It was fudgy inside and just melted in your mouth. Their drinks are also not to be missed. I had an early grey cocktail that was delightful. I also ordered their honey rooibos tea with dessert which was served in a beautiful bone china teacup. I will definitely be back next time I'm in town.

Beautifully curated place with modern touches of British establishment for a cozy lunch or dinner. Had lunch here with my colleague and we both enjoyed our time here. The food was delicious , fresh and stuffs were wonderful! Must visit if you are around and if you love puppies!

The food was exceptional, bar a few hiccups, which were resolved within 7 minutes. The Fish n chips really is the best. The staff are very cordial and know how to skillfully float around those tables. This place comes highly recommended and it doesn't disappoint. We didn't have reservations but if you're looking to eat here the hostess is to the right up the stairs and it's highly encouraged to make reservations.

We stumbled on this restaurant while we were visiting Philly. We looked at the reviews and decided to try it out. My son and I definitely enjoyed our time here. Dixie was our server and she was simply the sweetest. She made us feel welcomed, took time to explain different menu items, and cracked a few jokes. The restaurant itself was bustling, but it was clean, warm and inviting.

Overall, it's a great place to eat. The food was excellent, the atmosphere is really nice and it's fairly priced. My only issue was the service we received. I realize it was probably just my server and not representative of all their servers, so I only took off one star. The server greeted us at the table quickly and gave us water. When I mention that it was our first time and I had a few questions about the menu he acted as if I was bothering him. He said he would be back to take our order, but we didn't see him again for over 25 minutes. He came back, took our order and said we would get some bread. By the time the bread got to the table we were only halfway through our first slice when the food arrived. as the manager walked around asking tables how everything was, we took the opportunity to talk to her about our experience. She was absolutely terrific. She apologized and said that they would address the situation with that particular server immediately. She then came back to the table and gave us dessert menus and told us to order anything we wanted, but she already had put their best dish in the oven for us. Kudos for how she handled the situation!

The food and service were amazing! Burger is to die for. Drinks were spot on and coming with little to no wait . Sticky pudding was amazing. And our waiter was attentive and informative. Thanks for a great day out in the city, esp after its been so long since I've had the chance to be out and about.

Everything here is delicious. You can’t really go wrong with whatever you order. Always been one of my favorite Philly restaurants to bring friends who are visiting and also a great cozy place during the winter. Whether it’s brunch or dinner, always loved coming here and now during Covid the takeout food quality is still just as good. Looking forward to coming back to dine in one day.

The Dandelion was a hit with us! We were able to sit inside for their first night of indoor dining post covid. Our server Christopher K. was really attentive and professional. We felt well cared for and had a great time. Our party had the fish and chips, the dandy burger, the risotto, and the shepherd's pie. All were good but our favorite was the shepherd pie. The building is so unique and interesting on the inside. You will definitely enjoy your experience at the Dandelion.

Pub food elevated at the Dandelion. It was our first time dining here and it was great. First off, the staff was super helpful and friendly. We were able to switch seatings to better accommodate our little girl. The cocktails are amazing and the appetizers , main dishes and deserts are all great. The mac and cheese and fries was our daughter favorite. Overall if you’re in Philly check it out!

Wonderfully cozy spot, especially when it’s cold outside. The dining area has many wonderful nooks and different areas for sitting. The food is great and probably worth taking a group of at least 4+ people in order to sample many items on their menu. Everything I had was really well done and I’ll definitely be back next time I visit Philly.

Thoroughly enjoyed our experience at The Dandelion - the ambiance is wonderful and the food was delicious. The cheese board left a little to be desired (volume-wise) and the Summer Corn and Mushroom Porridge was slightly heavy on the mushrooms, but both dishes were extremely flavorful; and service - albeit a little on the slower side - was helpful and friendly. Definitely worth a visit, and we would absolutely go back again!

Brilliant staff, wonderful atmosphere. The people make you feel good. Smoked salmon and trout päté is worth a side of sourdough toast. Tandoori Chicken is delightful. Fish and Chips from the sea is a staple. I recommend dining here!

Excellent British style gastropub. Delicious food, nice staff and great ambiance. I always try and make a stop here for a meal whenever I can. I really enjoy the fish and chips as well as the beer selection. The homemade Ricotta and deviled eggs are wonderful as well. Stop in if you are in Philly....you won't be disappointed!

My meal at The Dandelion was the first time I’ve really tried any authentic British cuisine! The Welsh Rarebit was tasty, and my mom really enjoyed her chilled yellow tomato soup. I ordered the Mac and cheese (I just can’t not order mac and cheese when I see it) and the ham in it was such a tasty addition! My friend had the bangers and mash, which he loved, and my dad had a burger (forgot to take pictures of these). He was a little disappointed in the burger and thought it could’ve been more flavorful, but it was cooked perfectly. Very good service. I had knocked over my water glass and they were kind enough to come over and wipe up the spill. The atmosphere was so cool and a great prequel to my friend’s upcoming trip to London!

So good we went twice in one weekend! The dog room is my absolute favorite - so many beautiful pieces of artwork and figurines that are so fun to look at while you're enjoying your meal. Honestly, the ambience of this entire place is spot on and really cozy. The service was excellent and the food & drinks were fantastic. Highly recommend the Jungle Lion! We had the ricotta appetizer, fish & chips, and dandy burger.. and are still drooling over the warm bread and salted butter. Can't wait for our next visit!

I really liked this spot. Brunch in Philly is pretty lame but offers a proper omelette / French toast investment. I hate going to brunch why am I paying $15 for eggs and bacon when I can do it better myself ?! I loved the French toast, it’s huge so better to share (unless you’re a bottomless pit, go off, go for it!). The Pimm’s Deluxe is *chef’s kiss* a freaking fresh summer delight. This cucumber refresher meets a perfectly mixed gin cocktail. I’m hyped to try more of their drinks and people watch from their outdoor tables.

The changed name of the restaurant is called 'the Love' ❤️ restaurant. This is my 3rd time attending the restaurant. Each time the experience has given me a warm, relaxed, elegant, and intimate place to eat. The food is deliciously made to perfection, and the deserts are amazing including the waiters and waitresses! Even though it is in the heart of downtown, once you step inside the atmosphere changes everything!

Everyone knows the Dandelion, so it had to be tried. The food was excellent, we got the charcuterie and whipped ricotta as appetizers.. they were delicious. I opted for Fish & Chips, and the fish was cooked perfectly. The service was ok, but the atmosphere was so nice. It was a rainy day and they had the fire place roaring. Felt like London. I hear they have a great happy hour, I’d love to go back and try it!

True to form - awesome place. And oh my gosh, the bread! And ricotta... And cultured butter. Awesome selection of beers and great on/off-menu cocktails. All of the food was top notch and just what you'd expect from a traditional pub. Service was EXCELLENT and there was such a cozy vibe. The kind of place you can get lost in over a few good drinks and some stellar food and service.

This is a great place to come for both food and drinks. First time having chicken+duck liver mousse and it was great. The breads that came with all the cheese platter and the other appetizers were well made (all different flavors and textures). I had the tandoori chicken as the main course which was delicious. Might prefer slightly less yogurt on top of the dish or maybe on the side next time. The chicken itself was super tender and flavorful, not even too spicy. Might even prefer a bit more spice.

Dinner was wonderful, made a reservation online for 3/13 when we arrived at 7pm we were seated immediately. Our waiter was very friendly and was quick to take our order and offer suggestions. Definitely start with the Ricotta and finish with the Petite Sweets. The building has many different rooms, nice and quiet for a dinner for two!

Amazing restaurant that gets packed fast. The food is really good. My significant and I were there to celebrate his birthday and we had a great time. I do wish we had been seated at a bigger table as we ordered about everything on the menu being seated at a kids table. I did ask to be seated at a bigger table as I told the waiter we were about to order everything under the moon for the celebration, however we got denied. I wanted to order a champagne bottle but being all tight with all the plates on the table, where could we possibly fit a bottle ?

I've eaten at the Dandelion multiple times. I had dinner there at least three times I've been there for lunch as well as the afternoon tea. Every single time has been nothing short of exceptional. The English tea was wonderful along with the shortbread and sticky pudding. Their burger is to die for along with several other dishes. Easily one of the best restaurants in the city.

I am often far to critical on all things and should have made this a 5 star review from the get go (used to be 4 stars, what was I thinking?!). The Dandelion is definitely a place that I go without hesitation when asked or when the idea comes up. Please visit there when you are able to as you won't be disappointed. Where else can you get a proper English breakfast with beans and English style scrambled eggs? Yum!

Amazing, fresh food and friendly service! They're taking all the right precautions for COVID, and the experience is still just as awesome. The chilled tomato soup and oysters were the perfect summer option, and the lemon barley risotto and the duck/chicken liver parfait were super flavorful and well seasoned. Even the tomatoes and chips were great! You have to stop by♡

  • 5/5 Matthew S. 3 years ago on Google
Little English style pub. The fish and chips were well prepared, however it's not a lot of fish, but it left me satisfyingly full and was absolutely delightful. The dark and stormy drink was delicious and refreshing while outside on a hot summer evening. Wait staff was courteous and prompt and no complaints with anything. The chicken on greens was dry and the flavor wasn't great, however the presentation was good. Normally I'd probably rate this a 4, but we also had the cheese board and the duck/chicken liver spread and both of those were phenomenal so I'm definitely sticking with 5 stars.

After having read and heard many great reviews and comments about this restaurant, we had high expectations. These were indeed met. The food is excellent, probably the best we have ever had in this town. The chef said he has a nice repertoire of vegetarian dishes, and true enough, we were not disappointed! I will return to this restaurant for business meetings in the future.

We visited here twice and were extraordinarily pleased with the results both times. The service and ambience were impeccable. The food was delicous (fresh oysters, potted rabbit, ribeye steak) and the cocktails inventive and well-crafted. We have made a note to ourselves to visit 'The Dandelion' once again when the madness has subsided and we can travel to Philadelphia.

I always enjoy going to The Dandelion for brunch on the weekends, but this was the first time I went for lunch on a weekday. I continue to be impressed with the food here! My friend and I got a flight of their Cask Beers, which were diverse and delicious! I had the Roast Beef Sandwich, which was perfectly cooked and artfully plated with a deliciously dressed salad that flowed between the two halves of the sandwich. My friend go the Beef Tartare and it was incredible as well! I will always jump at the opportunity to dine here. The eclectic decor and overall atmosphere is always so welcoming and relaxed.

This place is a gem in down town Philly. Fun bar, busy, very well decorated. There are multiple themed dining rooms with various bar areas. Service was outstanding. I had the beer battered fish and chips, very tasty. My wife had the tandoori chicken, it was a huge dish, she was very happy with it. All in all, will stop thru again on the next visit to philly. Very busy place, highly suggest reservations.

I have visited the restaurant twice. Before the first visit, I had never been to a British pub. Right now there is indoor and outdoor seating, and the ambiance on the inside is lovely. The lights are a little low, but there are pictures of different breeds of dogs everywhere. (A perfect place for dog lovers!) The menu is balanced; not too many or too few options. The waitstaff is incredibly kind. Favorite items so far include the cheese board, shepherd's pie, and their steak and chips, which also includes a watercress salad.

Can't go wrong here. One of my favorite restaurants in Philadelphia! Attention to detail on the service are always perfect here. Even during the pandemic we sat outside nicely and received great service.

Reserved one of the heated outdoor cabins! Plenty warm, and the food was WONDERFUL. The rabbit pie is a must, the mussels are also 10/10! Thank you for a wonderful evening!

A must visit. This quaint, British pub is a Starr restaurant in the Rittenhouse area. We were greater immediately upon arriving and seated right away, as well as reminded about the end reservation time. The outdoor seating had a lot of greenery to block street noise and passerbys. The waiter was perfect in that he highlighted menu items but was not pushy. The sourdough bread with housemate ricotta was sumptuous. I could eat that for a meal, we even got more bread. The waiter perfectly recommended two menu items based on our tastes that we shared. The rabbit pie. Pork belly. The pictures should tell you everything, but I’ll say the rabbit pie had the perfect amount of mustard and puff pastry. The pork belly was crispy, crispy and melted like butter inside. Before we got to dessert, the time was up for our reservation (not their fault, we took our time). We were going to order dessert and then decided not to since we were full. The manager came over and made sure we didn’t want to order dessert, long story short, she delivered us a complimentary dessert on the way out. True class! I can’t wait to return.

I lived in Philadelphia for many years and could never get into The Dandelion. Since it just reopened a few days ago, I was able to get a reservation. The reviews are correct - this place is a gem! The food is excellent, many different choices for beers, wines and mixed drinks.

Great food and drink - best of all, they fastidious follow and enforce their COVID policy (for both employees and guests), and their outdoor dining area is pleasant, covered, separated into separate areas by table, and heated with a forced air system. The outdoor area was more than warm enough during a 40 degree afternoon.

Since it just reopened a few days ago, I was able to get a reservation. The reviews are correct - this place is a gem! The food is excellent, many different choices for beers, wines and mixed drinks. We ate outside, due to COVID restrictions but the weather was nice, tables spread apart and they even provide a wellness station with wipes and hand sanitizer. Every course was excellently prepared and explained.

Happy to have had the reservation during Halloween 🎃 Great ambiance and fantastic food! We had the pork belly (crispy skin and the belly was like butter-so good!) and steam muscles to start. And shared the fish and chips for dinner entree. Good size portions to share.

I reserved a table to have brunch for my boyfriend's birthday. I asked for a relatively secluded table with a view and the table they gave us was in the front of the building on the second level. The view and ambience was absolutely gorgeous. They even seated us earlier than our reserved time! The food was fantastic. We got the pint of prawns, the cheese board, fish and chips, lamb shepherd's pie, the brioche french toast and their baked sweet potato. None of which were disappointing. I recommend their Pimm's cup for a drink as well. The staff were all very friendly and knowledgeable about their menu. The check was pricey but it was worth it in my opinion. We will definitely be back for another date. I highly recommend it for brunch with your significant other or even an outing with friends.

We made a reservation here based on the availability of sticky toffee pudding. After watching so much Gordon Ramsey we had to try it. It did not disappoint. It was absolutely fabulous served with banana icecream. The bread appetizer was the best I've had. I think they make the sourdough in house and it's incredibly tasty. The cuisine is modern English and delicious as well. I had rabbit pie which was intriguing and made me want more. My bf had fish and chips and said the fish was the best he's had. The service is fantastic and the ambiance was wonderful. We are going there again.

I wish I could give this place a zero star rating! We sat for 20 minutes and no one came to the table. They saw us leave and just stared at us. So rude and HORRIBLE SERVICE. The prices were also ridiculous. Don’t waste your time!

I loved the atmosphere of the restaurant. The staff was fast and friendly. The plating was beautiful. And to me there's just something about an open kitchen in a restaurant that I love. But the food was okay. It looked way better than it tasted. It wasn't bad, but for the price I expected a bit more. It woild also be nice if there were salt/pepper shakers okn the table as there was none added during cooking. Overall it was an alright place.

I thought Dandelion was going to be a waste of time, because of the menu. I can tell you this, I was DEAD wrong. The food was awesome. I had the fish and chips, my wife had the mussels. Their tartar sauce is to die for. If you guy's get the chance go to this place.

Really cool rustic-ish take on a Brit pub. Had the Dandy Burger and tandoori chicken. The burger was great, dandy indeed, and it even looked exactly like the picture. When was the last time you got a burger that looked like the picture? The tandoori chicken was good too, it was more of a Briton style but still very much excellent. Great ambiance, great service, food came out fast. Certainly would recommend.

I told the female phone receptionist that I personally like to grow and pluck wild dandelions, bread them in flour, salt & pepper, and fry them in refined coconut oil... She seemed a bit annoyed after I said this. Maybe she was having a bad day, or maybe she lacks creativity and was a bit jealous..

Great evening out with friends. Our server was fantastic. Food was all served promptly. Our table of four had no complaints. The appetizers were so delicious! Can't recommend this place enough. Will definitely be back. Only suggestion would be to turn a fan on for outdoor tables. It gets hot in those wood boxes!

Excellent. We had the Tandoori Chicken and the Rabbit Pie. For dessert we shared the Eton Mess, which was made very interesting (in a good way) by the basil. Watch out for the automatic tip suggestion with the online payment QR code on the bill. 20% is highlighted like it's selected, but the amount they've added for tip is far greater. Make sure you tip what you want to tip. Excellent service.

I had a brunch date here for first time and ate outside. It was a bit noise to eat outside since the restaurant was located in the center city and the outdoor dining area was right next to the road. I really liked their British theme interior inside the restaurant, which gave me the vibes when I was in London. I definitely want to come back here to do indoor dine-in next time. The service was pleasant, the server was nice to answer all my questions about the menu. She suggested me to try their authentic British breakfast (served with "blood sausage") since I asked for recommendation that I wanted to try their unique/signature dish! My overall experience was a good and I will recommend this place if you're looking for a British theme restaurant or you miss British breakfast!

Our favorite restaurant in the city! The food is the best British food outside of England, and the drinks are fun and delicious. We go for the Chicken and Duck liver parfait and stay for the drinks. The atmosphere is cozy and feels like you're in an English pub. A MUST for lunch or happy hour.

Loved it! The atmosphere! The service and the food! Beer was good. Got there at the end of the day and sat on the second floor. Real busy in the first floor but we preferred a more quiet dinner. Still busy but enjoyable. Recommend a reservation in advance.

Excellent location – I can’t say that enough. Rittenhouse Park is a block away and gave me a great spot to relax until my friend joined me. I really liked the setting too. I ate outside, but the inside had a swanky look to it that I enjoyed. Great outdoor seating with many patrons passing by the table on a Thursday summer night. I had the fish and chips that were good (7/10). Big piece of deep friend cod and the fries were delicious wedges. My friend had the tandoori chicken and said it was good. I ordered a whisky soar but would pass on the drinks next time – just too expensive for the quantity. Overall I’d come back for the location, setting and service, and would recommend The Dandelion to anyone looking for a sit down meal in the city.

This is a review for the dinner menu. Chilled yellow tomato soup had ok flavor, and the whole tomato inside added a burst of extra flavor. The pot pie was super! Deviled eggs delicious. Bread fresh. Superb servers. Bit chilly inside if wearing shorts and tank top though, but to be expected during summer. They also have an street seating option, but I wanted to see the inside.

Yummy food... Check.... Cool atmosphere... . Check very competent staff taking care of you..... Check.... It has a British pub/country lodge vibe including a velvet circle curtain to keep cold air out, stuffed boars head above an alcove, fireplace, cozy space feel like it's a renovated old house that never quite had enough space but it's very enjoyable as is. Was quite busy for a Weds so it's clearly a local popular spot. We waited about 30 mins for a table so reservations would be suggested - we ate in the bar area since it turned out to be lovely as we had drinks. There are 3-side enclosed tables outside lining the sidewalk that probably are nice in warmer, not-so-rainy weather. Food was special and tasty - a step or two above what you'd expect. Worth more visits to experience more of the menu. I would say not kid/ stroller friendly. There are stairs between sections if you have mobility concerns to think about.

Love love LOVE this place! The ambiance is on point. Sat at the bar, service is excellent. The rabbit pie is insanely good. It’s a rabbit and mushroom gravy with a puff pastry on top and it’s chocked full of rabbit! The flavor is nothing short of delightful. The drinks! I tried a Pim’s Deluxe which is amazing if you like cucumber. I love cucumber so this drink was perfect for me. I also tried the Rose Mimosa. Yum! The cask beer is really cool, they even explain on the menu how it works. We finished our experience with the Banoffee Trifle. Husband was craving banana so this was perfect. The presentation is lovely and the flavors work together so well. I wish we lived here so I could come back often. The tea time looks lovely as does the rest of the menu. I will say, if you need a large quantity of food to feel full, you will spend a lot here to do that. The portions are not large but appropriately sized; no to-go box necessary. 10/10 will come back next time we’re in the area.

walked by and thought-let’s try this place. we were seated immediately by a friendly staffer. the atmosphere was light and the staff were all so nice. we were served quickly and the food was delicious! ricotta was creamy-the beets were perfectly pickled -the pint of pawns was perfectly cooked and fresh and the bangors and mash very tasty. (a little gamey for me but i don’t love meat). a cool take on a cesar salad but hold the achovies if you don’t like them. they are strong. the bread was very good and the salted butter -well i’d marry it if i could. give this place a try for some english tastes. we also had a few cocktails which were also tasty

Atmosphere: 1/1: Fun atmosphere. First floor feels like an English pub. The 2nd and 3rd floor have more of a house made into restaurant vibe. Service: 1/1: very nice, attentive and friendly staff Price: 1/1: Average restaurant prices Food: 2/2: The food was exquisite! The Crab croquettes and Fish & Chips exceeded our expectations. We got the royal experience afternoon tea. Service was great, atmosphere was so nice, food was good. My critique would be that we were disappointed that the tea was bags not loose leaf and our pot ended up over steeped by the end. The sandwiches were very very good, and the pastries were good not great. However the selection, variety and presentation was phenomenal.
