Great place if you are gluten free. We have gluten-free buns. They have gluten-free fish and chips. I have all sorts of things that are gluten free that you don't expect. I even have a gluten-free dessert of the day. My daughter and I each got a salad. My daughter went for the hamburger with a gluten-free bun and I got the fish and chips. Note that they're southern fried chicken is made with chicken breast tenders. This is a Pepsi shop..

We ordered soup as appetizers and they came out promptly. The cup of soup was pretty small compared to the bowl. I had the meatloaf melt and it was very good. The server was knowledgeable of the menu and she did a wonderful job. Price is on point for fine dining!

Holy smokes!!! We found this place using Google maps and it is much better than the 4.5 stars. The food service and atmosphere was 🔥🔥🔥🔥. You must give them a try and the meatloaf was some of the best I have ever had!!!!

The food was A.MAZ.ING! The atmosphere was diner with class. The rolls at the beginning of the meal melted in your mouth. I had the French toast with lemon curd and fruit along with candied bacon. I don't even eat bacon and it was delicious. The others in my party had the pot roast hash and eggs Benedict. We took peppermint cheesecake home for later in the evening. You'll need reservations because it's a popular place but well worth it.

Cap City is always fantastic! My husband and I go there often. He gets the meatloaf every single time because he loves it so much (see photo - it’s a showstopper). I change it up but I’ve really enjoyed their bagel and smoked salmon spread (pictured), quiche and eggs Benedict. The service is always fast and friendly and the restaurant is just adorable inside. We love the vintage diner vibe in a more modern setting. We’re lucky enough to live right down the street so you’ll be seeing us again soon, Cap City!

We used to love this restaurant. We haven’t been here in five years because we moved. We still had a gift card and back living closer again. So, we couldn’t wait to give them a try. It did not disappoint! The rolls are amazing. They taste more like dessert. They have cinnamon sugar and icing on them. We got Blue Cheese Potato Chips as our appetizer. The are potato chips covered with blue cheese, chives, and Alfredo sauce. Incredibly delicious! We both got Romano Crusted Chicken. We like to order it with extra sauce on the side and they are happy to do it. The chicken is so crispy and comes with garlic buttered noodles and roasted tomato cream sauce. We didn’t have room for dessert this time. The staff is exceptional every time we’ve been here. They offer Blue Plate specials each day so make sure to check those out. They also offer a Gluten-Free menu for adults and well as children. Happy hour at the bar is Monday – Friday from 4 – 6 PM too.

Ordered A Run runner and Cameron's Walleye. A little pricey, especially since we couldn't taste the rum or the walleye, for that matter. But not tasting fishy is a good thing. Just, really, no flavor in the walleye unless you slid it through the cheese sauce on the asparagus. Nice presentation and good service. We'll definitly be back to try something else.

Best food experience. We are in town for the holiday and a friend recommended Cap City. I've had amazing steak at Restaurants in Las Vegas costing $150 for the steak alone and this was better. Everything was seasoned to perfection. Each item was the best I've ever eaten alone but together on 1 plate blew me away. The twice baked potato was amazing, the steak cooked to perfection mid-rare and well salted, the broccoli steamed then brushed with a garlic butter. Try the Peanut Butter chocolate pie for desert. It's hands down the most indulgent and decadent delicious bite. This restaurant is a gem and I'm sad I only get to eat here if I come back to Columbus.

This place was generally great. I feel like we had a very late reservation and didn't get the super high quality of meals due to that, but the food was still well done. Our service was absolutely fantastic and the ambience in the place was very nice. Had a great selection of wines and liquor and a great selection of desserts and malts which could be taken to go. The Covid policies were good and adhered to which is much appreciated. Would definitely come back here again!

I called in for take out today 10/21/23 @6pm. My 8yr old loves the cinnamon rolls they serve at the beginning of the meal. This roll is served only on weekends. I was willing to pay, but the Manager decided to give me the rolls complimentary on the house. I was willing to tip them. They kindly declined stating on the house. It’s not that I got them free for my daughter. It’s the gesture and customer service. It’s been a while since I’ve seen this customer service. I was greeted promptly and served with a smile. My 8yr old was also greeted kindly and couldn’t have been happier for her little treat. We are human at the end of the day- thank you for making my little girl happy!!! I wish I could’ve mentioned you all by name, my bad I didn’t ask… Thank you’ll and I appreciate you’ll❤️❤️❤️

Great food along with a variety of food items on the menu. Fried chicken Caesar is an excellent choice, along with the salmon. I pass on the honey butter given with the rolls and opt for regular butter if that is your thing. Could have been a much worse experience as salads took forever due to a cooks mistake. Jennifer went above and beyond as a great server and made it right

Food is always fresh; had the trio today of salad, cup of chili & 1/2 of chicken salad sandwich. Our server was very attentive.

This is a fun and unique Cameron Mitchell restaurant with a modern spin on a 1950s vibe, right in Stoneridge Plaza (Morse/Hamilton Roads) in Gahanna, Ohio. I'd describe the menu as "upscale comfort food" that's fresh and flavorful. Accommodations for gluten friendly diets are available, with the disclaimer that the kitchen is not 100% gluten free. Great selection of wine and beer, if that's your thing. Service is top notch. They are ALWAYS busy, so expect to wait at least an hour if you don't have a reservation.

As I've mentioned in a few of my reviews, I'm a retired chef so I'm very hard to please and I'm very particular. It has been probably 8 years since I went to a restaurant and had a meal that was so phenomenal. I made it my business to speak to the front of the house manager to convey the pleasure and joy that I had eating my meal. In addition to drinking my cosmos!! I had an my excellent server who made it her business to follow up more times than I can count Alexa! I can cook. That being said, I have never had a chicken breast so perfectly seasoned not over cooked till it was dry like leather. It was succulent and juicy it melted in my mouth. Mashed potatoes that I did not have to add seasoning to and the skillet beans were phenomenal and my date had the meatloaf. To be honest I think the next time I come to Columbus I'm going to have to eat the meatloaf and the fried chicken dinner because it was that good. It was amazing!!! 😋😋😋 The front of the house manager was actually a clevelander such as myself I wanted to compliment the restaurant, the excellent food and the excellent service directly to him. I told him they have to bring at least one location to Cleveland.🙏🏽🙏🏽 Because Cleveland's restaurants in my opinion are horrific! 🧐. Please make Cap City one of your stops. Whenever you come to the capital city, you will not be disappointed!!!!

Love the experience. Out server nathan, I believe, was his name, was super helpful, and very attentive. The only issue I had and wasn't even an issue was I had the BBQ chicken salad. With 2 sauces on the salad for me, it lacked a little in the crunch dept. Maybe a breaded chicken chicken option instead of grilled. The tortilla strips did struggle to stay crispy. Overall, the food was amazing. I am very happy without our purchase and service. We will definitely be back

One of the best places my wife and I have been to in a long time. We had Cole as our server and he was fantastic and very attentive during our time. The gluten-free fish and chips is outstanding and I would highly recommend it along with some of the best chicken wings I have ever had. If you're passing through the Columbus area, definitely check this place out.

Very good food. Our server was great. ... The only odd ball thing that happened was that my toast that came with my omelette ended up with garlic butter on it but also came with a side of jam. I didn't realize it was garlic butter until I put the jam on and took a bite. Ugh. That was kind of gross. The server asked the kitchen and they said "that's how it's supposed to come out"... which is super odd to me, but what do I know. 😆 I'm not going to knock a star off for something so small but something for them to think about. Garlic or jam. Not both.

OMGOODNESS! The last time I was in a Cap City Fine Diner was many years ago and it was on OSU campus. This time I ate at the Ghanna establishment and it was awesome 👍🏾! Our reservation was for 1p and we were allowed to be seated even though we were waiting for the rest of our party. Our server, Morgan, was absolutely great. On point! Had the opportunity to speak with the manager, Jason, and he was just as awesome. Oh, and did I say that I ordered the Balsamic Chicken with mashed potatoes on a lemon balsamic sauce with peppers, caramelized mushrooms and I had them add caramelized onions. So good, so good. Can't wait to go back to try some other dishes.

HIGH priced, Mediocre food, The waiter (Cole) was amazing! He was "on it" for drinks, checking up on us, letting us know about the arrival of our food. However, when the food FINALLY arrived, Presentation and TEMP of food was NOT GOOD!! Cold wilted fries, warm onion rings, peas & carrots HARD, (COOK my veggies please!) Meatloaf (better in a cafeteria) cold center and on a piece of Texas toast??? It's a dinner item, not a sandwich item, serve it with potatoes or rice (NOT onion strings either) This place would be GREAT if it WAS an actual DINER! But, they try to be a higher end diner/elegant dining. NOT WORKING for me, anyway. Sorry. Don't get it and won't be back.

1st experience with Cap City's Gluten Free offerings. Kaitlyn (Gahanna) was the bomb. She clearly needs a raise or promotion to head trainer. She made my experience great. She was friendly, asked about my day and was engaged the entire time. The food? Perfect in every way. Separate fryers and gf rolls topped with a cinnamon sugar? 🤤🤤 I had the gf philly and that sauce that came with it was fire. I highly recommend and we will now be a Sunday regular.

It's like entering a restaurant on the cruise ship! The service was top-notch, our server was very attentive! Great portions and quite hearty! Loved the free rolls, it's like a simple cinnamon roll. 🧀Blue Cheese Chips (⭐️⭐️⭐️): tastes just like cape cod kettle chips + blue cheese crumbles and a small drizzle of sauce. Makes sense since the sauced chips became soggy. 🐙Calamari (⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️): loved this, airy light and the slightly sweet sauce was finger-lickin' good! Not chewy and really well done! 🥦Soup of the Day-Broccoli Cheddar (⭐️⭐️⭐️): Tasty but too heavy and rich for me, would've loved it with some crunchy toast to dip or something 🐷Meatloaf (⭐️⭐️⭐️): great mash potatoes, flavorful and moist meatloaf 🐮Beef Stroganoff (⭐️⭐️⭐️): the noodles need some work, they were overly chewy and quite tough but enjoyed the sauce 🍍PIna Colada Pie (⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️): loved the pineapple chunks, but if the top portion could be a torched meringue then this would be a 10/10.

The staff is always friendly. Great place for girls night out meal and very family friendly when you want to take the kids out to eat.

This place was amazing! Generous portions, service was on point and the food was crazy good. One additional point that made this place perfect was the Gluten Free options, its hard to find a restaurant of their caliber that offers multiple Gluten free options and that taste incredible! I gave five stars because they didn't offer ten...

clam chowder way too peppery on all three soups ordered. Greek salads great. Shimp cocktails made plain because nothing on menu was without a hot spice. Menu needs to be upgraded so that folks can adjust dietary needs..

Good service. Good food. Selective and good choice of menu. Moscow mule could have been served in a copper cup but I'm being picky. Pick if what I ate. My wife ordered the Thursday special - The flat iron pot roast.

This place never disappoints. Service was spot on and the timing is as well. My Reuben was super fresh and wasn’t drenched in sauce so you could actually taste the corned beef. Alway a winner!
