I'm so not a fan of Andrew Jackson, but this restaurant is 10 stars! The smiles are genuine. The politeness is real. The food is magnificent! Special intention for the Chocolate Mousse! The cocktails are text book as well! Thanks to Matt and the Manager for the great service!

The atmosphere was amazing, loved the history of the place, and the service was top notch. One of the best wine lists I've found in Pensacola. The lost all that respect when the served a steak that was 4out of 10 at best. I've been to steak houses all over the US, Mexico, Europe. So my disappointment comes from them getting every other part of this right except the meat. A good steak house has the responsibility to get that right first. Everything else can suffer and I still would have given them 5 stars if the steak was excellent. Hope everyone else had a better experience than we did.

Food was exceptional! Service was also excellent! Danny (our waiter) made my birthday dinner absolutely wonderful. The Blue Crab Beignets & The Lamb Lolipops were amazing! All of us had something different so we could taste each others food & we were not disappointed with any of it. The Duck, Red Snapper & Petition Filet along with the Brussel Sprouts, Asparagus, Scallop Potatoes & Mac & Cheese were absolutely wonderful! Finished off with the SMOOTHEST Créme Brulee I've ever had in my life. Kudos to the chef. He did an amazing job! ⭐👍🏽👍🏽

Friendly staff, delicious food, and prompt service. I came in from the beach and was worried about being seated, they assured me they'd work it out and they did. I sat at the bar and the servers were so patient and helpful with the menu. I ordered enough for leftover, so don't judge me lol. I ordered lambchop lollipops, French Onion Soup, fried Green Tomatoes, delmonico ribeye, au gratin potatoes, mushrooms & onions. The bread was freshly baked and good. Lambchop were meaty and well seasoned. The fried Green Tomatoes were thick cut, well seasoned, and fried just right. The ribeye was cooked just right and seasoned well. The au gratin potatoes seemed a Tad dry, but I added some sour cream to them and it worked well. The mushrooms and onions were great additions. I ordered the phyllo purse for dessert and it was sweet and different. Kyla was my server and she was super sweet and very helpful. The food was fresh and delicious.

We visited Jackson's Steakhouse for an intimate Bestie birthday celebration, so I wanted to treat my best friend to the best Pensacola had to offer. Jackson's Steakhouse fit the bill exactly. Luxurious atmosphere, classy service by Amanda, sumptuous fare. I had the salmon entree which melted in my mouth. Delicious creamed corn. For dessert, I had the bread pudding. Just heavenly. If you're looking for a stylish venue that meets a high standard, Jackson's Steakhouse is it.

Finally tired Jackson's for the first time and I have to say I was just ok. We got the Monday special which was Lobster for 19.95 but it didn't come with sides so we ordered snap beans and four cheese and bacon mac and cheese. The lobster was not warm at all, the mac was gritty which was disappointing. The best thing was the snap beans, bread, and the drinks. I thought that the restaurant was fine dining but the decor does not scream that at all but the service was excellent. You definitely don't need to be dressed up to go there which is what I thought. We might try it again just to order the steak and see if it's better one day. I wish this restaurant would have been amazing because I was so looking forward to trying something new in Pensacola...

My 2stars is for the good waitress, and great appitizer and dessert. Everything else sucked, sorry. Got 2 of the 16oz delmonico ribeyes . For a $79 steak it was awful. My wife's had au poive Verte as a topping and was suppose to be on the side but they smothered it. And then didn't offer to even fix it. The steak quality was that of something I would expect from huddle house or maybe even Dennys. We should've walked out but I wasn't going to be that guy . Our waitress was awesome and both the appetizer (crab beignets) and the chocolate mousse dessert were fantastic. Maybe the other menu items are fantastic and deserve positive feedback. But for an $80 steak it should be far superior to Texas roadhouse....and I can buy a $15 steak from Winn Dixie and make a far better quality piece of meat . And as for the $20 scallop add on for the steak? You only get two scallops and they aren't anything special. The picture I posted with four scallops ,rice, and steak is from yamato in Milton. $20 for the entire meal . And the steak taste better and doesn't cut like a pork chop. If you go...I'd stay clear of the delmonico if that is what they are passing off as an $80 steak. This was our anniversary dinner and spent the same amount ($287 before tip) as the previous year at Ruth's Chris steakhouse in biloxi....and had nothing but positive things to say about Ruth's.

My husband and I visited this restaurant for our fourth wedding anniversary dinner. When I tell you the food was everything, it was everything. The steaks that my husband and I had, they just melt in your mouth. Our server he was amazing as well and very attentive. He had great food recommendations and made sure we were well taken care of throughout the night. Even though the place seemed super busy and packed, the staff made sure we were seated quickly and well taken care of. We will definitely be back.

This was an amazing experience! Here to celebrate a birthday dinner, Jackson’s was perfect! Thomas our waiter deserves a gold star for how amazing and wonderful he was for the duration of our meal. He gave great recommendations, took pride in his work, and was just an overall great man! My partner and I both opted for steaks. I chose the tenderloin and he went with the delmonico both cooked chefs choice. We had asparagus for a side and the crab beignets for an appetizer. Thomas perfectly described every item and even made a lighter recommendation for a drink that would mimic dessert. Overall, this place was wonderful. I highly recommend, and definitely recommend making a reservation as well!

This place was absolutely amazing. My partner and I have a tradition of always stopping at a steak house when we travel. This location definitely concerned us at first with the dress code being "Florida causal." However, Jackson's completely took us by surprise. The filet I had was the BEST steak I have had in my life- keep in mind my partner I have had steaks from Ruth Chris, Del Frisco, 501 chophouse and Daniel's Broiler to name a few. Do not walk, run to this steakhouse. We had Cathy take care of us and I would recommend this location without hesitation to anyone who is in the mood for a good steak.

AMAZING! AMAZING! AMAZING! Jackson's Steakhouse was excellent in almost every facet! The Service was welcoming and Inviting. The Starter, the Entre & the Desert were all phenomenal. Again, Amazing Job to the Staff. The Atmosphere was great, especially since it was more tended too that my wife & I felt celebrated for our Wedding Anniversary. I Highly, Strongly Recommend Jackson's Steakhouse to any person that is looking for a great dining experience on any occasion.

My wife and I absolutely loved our experience at Jackson’s. We had been wanting to eat here for quite some time and chose to do so for our 10th anniversary in December. The atmosphere was wonderful and the food was amazing. Our waiter was very descriptive with the food choices and made everything sound delicious. Definitely a must eat in Pensacola!

Fabulous dining experience! From start to finish, the food, drinks and ambiance was superb. Our server was very informative and attentive during our meal. We started out with a round of drinks. We had The Sandman for the ladies, and The Smoked Maple Old Fashioned for the gents. Next, for appetizers we had the Blue Crab Beignets and Jumbo Lump Crab Cake. Devine! For entrees, we had the Filet Mignon and Lionfish. Our dining guest also ordered fabulous steaks and loved it! We enjoyed the upscale feel and overall great time. Definitely will be back to try more delicious items from the menu!

Jacob T did an excellent job for my son's birthday last night! He gave us incredible service! We are from out of town & when we return here- we are asking for him! The Blueberry cheesecake was out of this world! The filet was extremely tender & full of flavor! The mashed potatoes are identical to my mom's homemade mashed potatoes so it brought a piece of home to my son on his birthday. It was gorgeous inside. I loved the whole experience! We will be back!

Everything was delicious!!!!!! The most commonly overlooked part of a dining experience is the service. I walked into the restaurant towards the end of lunch service and sat at the bar. I felt like I had a reservation. Excellence. Period.

A Pensacola staple✨ Located in the heart of Downtown Pensacola, Jackson’s provides a fine dining experience with a bit of a whimsical forest touch🍄 Atmosphere: The space is beautiful with the exterior walls covered with windows that give guests a view of downtown. My favorite part of the decorations are the mushroom-looking lights on the chandeliers that look like tree branches. Service: The best part of their service is that they bring all of the dishes for the whole table out all at once so that everyone can start eating together. Menu items: They start you off with fresh, sliced bread and butter with their logo on it. Entrees and sides are ordered separately. I got their salmon dish with Brussel sprouts on the side—taste and food presentation were amazing! I got to try three of their desserts, and their chocolate mousse ended up being my favorite.🍫 Coming here is an experience. If you’re a Pensacola native and have never been, it’s worth going at least once!

My review is a bit late but we went to dinner on Tuesday for a fun week day date night. They had a prime rib special and we have heard from friends it’s hit or miss but it was delicious! Well worth the 20 bucks, especially for the ambiance and fine dining experience. My filet was also cooked perfectly. Our appetizers, drinks and, dessert were also wonderful! And the BREAD! Best bread ever. The gentleman that poured our water was kind and attentive, the bartenders were all great as well. I was wearing a nice black dress and the hostess even gave me a black cloth napkin instead of white so no little strings or fibers got on my dress- above and beyond. The best part though was Danielle M. She was so sweet and fun and really made it the best time! It was a great experience and we will definitely request a table in her section when we visit again. Thank you!

It has been a culinary experience with Danielle being the perfect waitress. She educated us about the menu and recommended the most incredible dessert. She put a smile on our face with her charming self and made this evening unforgettable. Thank you so much.

Absolutely lovely menu and meal. Really enjoy the restaurant. Been more than once, and you will have a delightful time. The food was absolutely incredible and the ambiance was comfortable and welcoming. The only negatives would be in the service area. Our waitress was quite attentive but seemed over-tasked. Both the starter course and dessert was obviously delayed in reaching us, as she had too many tables to handle. Also, there is a waiter who, every time that I have been there, is EXTRAORDINARILY flamboyant and loud. I mean REALLY loud. I understand he is trying to IMPRESS his table but entire sections of the restaurant have to pause their conversation as he goes into a 5 minute violently loud diatribe about the exquisite construction of a certain aspect of the meal, or the delivery of more wine, or the absolute requirement to finish off the meal with a great dessert cocktail. It is only meant as technique and style ....but it is overwhelming and detracts from everyone else's evening. Otherwise, as always, Jackson is a fantastic dining experience that you will absolutely love. The French onion soup was divine and the steak was too shelf! Will be back.

Been there twice now. Both meal where fantastic. Also, try the bread pudding. It is really good too. Prices are a little on the higher side, but not outside any other really good steak house. They also have a decent kids menu for the little ones.

I was there for the first time. I was disappointed with my prime rib. It was tough and had to chew the meat. I have had prime rib other places and it melted in you mouth. The dessert was awesome. If you go there save room for dessert.

My husband and I celebrated our 6th wedding anniversary at Jackson’s Steakhouse. From beginning to end it was, needless to say, amazingly fabulous. We both ordered the Hickory Wood-Fired Petite Filet with Fried Green Tomatoes and Jumbo Lump Crab. The filet was seasoned and cooked to perfection, the fried green tomatoes were undoubtedly some of the best, and the lump crab simply amazing. We also ordered the Blueberry Cheesecake that was baked fresh and let me tell you…it was creamy and delightfully tasty. Jackson’s Steakhouse has definitely became a favorite of ours in Pensacola. Highly recommend!

My boyfriend and I came here to celebrate our anniversary. We were greeted by the hostess wishing us a happy anniversary. Once seated, our waiter Tom provided us with exceptional service. He described each meal with such detail, I could basically see and taste the dish. Tom provided us with fantastic recommendations and substitutions to truly enhance all of the flavors. We had the Blue Crab Beignets with added bacon (Tom’s suggestion), Duck Breast, NY Strip with au poivre verge on top, and a side of Wild Mushroom and Debris Risotto with Parmesan Reggiano. We finished our meal with warmed blueberry cheesecake. It was excellent! Tom is amazing and provided us with the best service I have ever had!

🥩 🐟 🦀 Highly recommended! Outstanding food and service! My wife and I are on our first visit to Pensacola, and picked Jefferson's because of its reviews. We loved all of the food. Steaks were the perfect temperature and their table bread is AMAZING! We had the strip, the filet, crab with fried green tomatoes, and the red snapper, all highly recommended. Thank you all, we will return!

What an amazing experience... The food, the ambiance, the service.... Everything honestly was great! The Filet mignon was delicious and cooked to perfection. Might I say it was the most delicious steak I have ever had, no exaggeration. Will definitely be going back!

We were in town for only a few days and staying down town, called about getting a reservation on Tuesday and they were booked. We didn’t know about their $20 prime rib. The hostess suggested we get there early and get a seat at the bar. Great suggestion! We enjoyed a fantastic meal and drinks. Service was spot on. We just wish we knew about their lobster Mondays.

  • 5/5 Dana C. 10 months ago on Google
Our server Tonya was kind and knowledgeable. I asked for her opinion on a dish selection. She advised we are a steak establishment, and that is where we really shine. I chose the hickory petite filet with fried green tomatoes. This was an amazing choice. A well prepared steak will not require seasoning. The steak cut was tender, cooked perfect, and seasoned to perfection. The fried green tomatoes were robust with flavor and yet crisp. The seafood chowder and bread were outstanding. This establishment brings a feeling of comfort with its reliably wonderful food. I will continue to revisit and enjoy it here . Please do not miss out on flavorful cocktails, and cuisines served to perfection.

I work there. The best in town, though. Last night is Sunday. Back to real estate! Get the N.Y. Strip, Elk from New Zealand, or the Wood-Fired Petite Filet signature entree'.

We were hoping for a great anniversary dinner while in town. Unfortunately this place was a pricey disappointment. Both of our steaks ordered medium, were overcooked and too salty.... The waiter delivered crumpled up bill in the end (not even in a book) like he was too embarrassed to even charge us. Never going back.

Lamb lollipop was good. However one for the price is ridiculous. Oysters on B ill-E's bacon was good. Bacon was dry tonight. Oysters are great. Medium rare steak was over cooked. Bartender Matt was great.

We dined at Jackson’s tonight for our anniversary. Our dinner was okay. Apps, crab beignets/pork burnt ends/scallops, were delicious. For entrees, I ordered the Hickory & my husband had the Delmonico. My Hickory was severely undercooked. I ordered mid rare and was served an extremely rare steak. They understood completely and remade my meal with the managers apologies. No biggie. My husband’s steak was cooked correctly, but it was underwhelming in terms of flavor. The Brussels and Mac and cheese were both INCREDIBLE. Drinks were good, as well. Our server was pretty inattentive, we sat for awhile without a greeting or drinks, and we felt she disappeared a lot. Definitely wasn’t a $200 dinner, and we likely won’t return. I do not feel as though it lived up to the hype I’ve heard about Jackson’s.

This place is magnificent. Wonderful ambiance. Fantastic staff. Service was amazing. Please ask for Thomas if you go. He is a pleasure. Didn't get many pics of the food because we were devouring it. But everything we ordered was incredible!!!

If you are looking for an experience and wanting to impress your date, this is your place!! The ambience was perfect, the staff especially Tom!! He was the best I have ever seen. His description of the menu made your mouth water before the food ever got to your table! This man made a vegetarian like me want to try some of these dishes. The chef did a wonderful job of accommodating my dietary needs and willing to do that. I have been to most restaurants locally who are not so accommodating and/or grateful to do it! The bread is the best ever and the special olive oil garlic thing Tom did for us was so delicious!! Other people at my table were super excited about their meal, but my pasta dish was yummy especially the fried mushrooms or whatever that was crunchy!! The side mushroom dish was probably the best thing for dinner. Definitely not shareable and kinds pricey, but it's heaven and so so so yummy!! And this is from someone who isn't the biggest fan of mushrooms but will eat them. Now let's talk about dessert!! I believe everything they have is great! But...dont leave without having the cheesecake! Definitely very unique and not your typical cheesecake! I will never share that dessert ever again....its only for one person...thats how good it is! Rest of the desserts were great as well...but cheesecake hands down! Manager was great also and made sure we will taken care of! Staff is excellent...restaurant is great experience...and food kinda pricey but worth trying at least once! Our group was very happy! Thank you for a great evening!

Our first time dining here, to celebrate our anniversary. Everything was amazing! Definitely get the crab beignets for an appetizer and get the optional 4th one. My husband got the NY prime strip and I got the petite filet meal. Soo good! We got the creme brûlée for dessert. My only critique was that the sugar wasn’t hard at all. But it tasted good none the less. Oh, and we don’t drink so they made us some yummy berry lemonades. Would definitely come here again, for a special occasion.

Jackson's Steakhouse is a must for those special occasions! Everything was perfect from start to finish. This particular evening, I was treating my girlfriend to dinner for her birthday. She had the 8 oz Filet Mignon, and I had the 14 oz. Delmonico. Everything was cooked to perfection with service to match. If you want to treat that special someone, this is the place to go. Very quiet and romantic with minimal noise. Make sure you make reservations well enough in advance.

Reserved a table for my boyfriend’s birthday on Open Table. I had put in the comments to preorder a dessert with a birthday message, not knowing if they would actually do it/able to do it… and they did! Picture attached. Very happy with the service. My boyfriend was served a birthday menu and received lots of well wishes from the staff and other guests! I had the elk, which was a special at the time, and he had the fillet with crab cake and fried green tomatoes. Both were amazing. This place deserves high praise.
