This
was
our
first
visit
to
The
Bay
Tree.
We
were
impressed
by
the
ambience
of
the
place.
The
food
was
amazing
and
worth
the
expense
for
the
quality
of
the
ingredients.
However
a
few
things
spoiled
the
experience:
1.
In
common
with
other
restaurants
you
haven't
got
your
bottom
on
the
seat
before
someone
comes
to
take
drinks.
2.
Four
out
of
Five
of
us
had
finished
our
starter
before
the
5th
person
got
theirs.
3.
Service
was
VERY
slow,
we
don't
like
it
to
be
too
quick
but
this
was
painfully
slow.
4.
We
tried
to
order
a
second
bottle
of
wine
and
the
waiter
who
brought
the
wine
list
never
came
back
to
take
the
order.
5.
I
object
strongly
to
restaurants
automatically
including
10%
service
charge,
I
know
this
is
voluntary
but
it
is
embarrassing
to
have
to
ask
for
it
to
be
removed.
I
don't
object
to
tipping,
in
fact
there
are
times
when
my
tip
would
have
been
greater
than
the
service
charge.
If
service
was
poor
like
tonight
I
don't
want
to
pay
for
it.
Service
charge
(or
tipping)
should
be
for
GOOD
service.
Would
I
go
again
DEFINATELY
but
being
prepared
for
a
slow
not
quite
perfect
experience.
