Really nice zoo for the Green Bay Area! It is not too big and easy to walk around and see all the animals; especially with young children in strollers. I would say it is very family friendly and the cost is pretty reasonable as well. I think my favorite animal was the giraffe! I can’t believe this small zoo has them, so that was pretty neat to see! There is plenty of parking amongst two different lots. One is right across the street from the entrance and the other one take you on a little nature path stroll to get to the entrance. Highly recommend checking it out if you are in the area!

This was a pretty small zoo but it was pretty awesome. All the animals here looked very well taken care of. The grounds were clean and the staff was very friendly. It was very inexpensive to visit as well, which is a bonus! Probably the biggest lion I have ever seen. Glad we visited!

It was just ok. They don't have alot of animals. I feel like we paid $11 per adult & $8 a child just to stroll around and walk. This zoo has been here to many years not to be full of animals. Well I guess I got my workout in on this Sunday.

Fun zoo! First time ever going. We usually go to Milwaukee but we just didn’t feel like fighting the crowds on Fathers Day. The NEW Zoo offers free admission to fathers on Father’s Day so that was nice. Feeding the Giraffe was a blast! A couple areas of the zoo were unfortunately closed due to short staffing but it’s tough to be upset because that seems to be the case just about everywhere these days. We all got in for $20 and it took about an hour to see it all. Perfect for our little family, especially with the baby.

GREAT place for kids! Of ALL ages. Lots of strollers and on Mother's Day today, all mother's get in free! And all mothers got a plant. I picked up a tomato plant. And a big bag of candy. All for free. Fun, not too big, and free food to feed the goats and alpacas.

Very nice & nationally accredited small zoo. Better to bring a picnic on weekdays tho', bcz the cafe wasn't open when we were there at lunchtime. Reasonable prices. The 2 giraffes weren't too cooperative with getting their photo taken. They are constructing an overhead walk, which should be fun to do next year.

Awesome little zoo. The cooler temperatures brought out all the animals. Even the racoon was out on top his tree stump. The giraffes and red pandas were a favorite today. Lots of special things going on for world giraffe day.

We did the behind-the-scenes Giraffe Encounter. It was spectacular! It's hard to impress two teenagers, but mine were absolutely thrilled with this, as were my husband and me. Andrea was an excellent and informative guide who made this so much fun. Highly recommend!!!

Around 85% of the visitors today were NOT wearing masks and one guest was coughing frequently, which kind of ruined the fun atmosphere. We maintained our distance, but COVID-19 can linger in the air when an infected person coughs and there is no breeze. Go at your own risk, knowing that most visitors will not be wearing masks. The only reason we went is because we thought everyone was required to wear a mask due to the mask mandate. The zoo was pretty nice, some areas where closed, but overall a lot of animals to see. A concern was that the alligator only had a very small area to swim in relative to its size.

The bear look so sad and was pacing terribly. You can see his path walking in circles around his hut feverishly in the picture. He needs help please!! Staff at the gift shop were not very nice and you could not feed the giraffe. The sign says we do not have staff so feeding giraffes are limited. Neal Anderson I am sorry you are retiring...i do understand though. It was clean but the only happy animals there were the penguins. I will never go back really depressing....sorry.

Decent for the price. I wish they would allow each thing to take payment so we didn't have to walk back to the gift shop each time we decide to do something while the workers still blame covid for the policies... adapt please. You guys are so close to an amazing thing.

We liked going to this zoo. The only reason it's a 4 and not a 5 is because a lot of the animals were not there. There were some pretty unique animals there as well though. One was a bald eagle, a moose, and some bison. It was a nice little family getaway.

This is a really cute little zoo that makes for a great stop to take the kids on long trips. It's rather small - plan on about an hour to see everything here, but they have some cool species that you don't often see. For example, they have two moose, an albino alligator, and a bear. All of the animals seem well cared for and in great shape. Some of the exhibits are hard to small children to see, as they are hidden behind bushes and such. Also, quite a few things were closed down when we were there, as they are short staffed.

Our family had a wonderful day at this Zoo! We called ahead to see if the restaurant was open (yes!). We enjoyed meandering thru about half of it before getting lunch. Lots of options our 3&6 yo approved of. There were many animals out, and some not which is to be expected on a hot day & thankful they had spaces to hide. Kiddos had a wonderful time& little guy was able to walk the entire way (many folks had wagons and strollers along tho). Staff were very friendly, the signs were informative, and a very clean zoo. Great day!!

It was our first visit to the zoo and we loved it! Our kids loved seeing the peacocks running around living their best life free range! The aviary was neat, especially when the eagle started talking to us! My son's only complaint was that there wasn't a reptile area. He wanted to see snakes. Also, we didn't get to experience the children zoo petting area as it was closed. The heat had a lot of animals hiding but it was still enjoyable! Highly recommend it!

Quaint zoo with a simple layout. Many of the animals seemed lethargic when we went. Many others were not available for viewing. Nice place to take the kids. Gift shop was expensive and had few items.

This is a nice playground.🥳 Definitely an adventure playground. 🤸 It's not just the typical swing set.🛝 There is a short path 🚶around it. Which is why I passed by lol The pond could use some attention. It needs to be cleaned and possibly a fountain installed. The covered bridge is a nice touch but it doesn't have any cutouts inside of it 🤔 There are plenty of picnic tables.🧺

Relatively small zoo but very nice. Has lions, giraffe, bear, wolf, alligator and farm animals as well. Feeding giraffe for $1 was fun. Also, has kids play area inside and outside of the zoo. Kids loved it.

Started with a phone call and a question! I asked if they had Vet discounts and the web said that they do but when I called a lady answered the phone got snippy with me and it seemed that I was bothering her and she was too busy!!! She said no! That to me is ok not every thing has discounts again it is the way people talk to one another is my issue!! If you don't want my business just say so don't be rude!! When we arrived I paid full $$ and we went in! Sorry I have been to Zoo's all over the world and this was just a cover~!! Like tiger king! 3/4's of the zoo was empty and all of their ponds were full of green algae! Very disappointing! In some places there was trash all over the place!!! After we left there we went to Dee Pere nature center and guest what no fees and they have a zoo there too and every cage had some kind of wild life in there!! Much nicer!!! I don't recommend this Zoo! It is in the middle of no where and you can save your gas and invest you money in better places!! And the people at Dee Pere nature center were super helpful and nice!!!

Call before you go. Due to lack of help, the petting zoo, feeding giraffe area and carasel are closed. Some days they have help and most days they do not, unfortunately. Also, bring food and eat before going into park. The restaurant is closed also. Picnic near parking lot park!

Great hidden gem located north of Green Bay. They feature a large variety of animals, displays, food options and you can even buy food to feed some of the animals.

  • 5/5 Connie B. 4 years ago on Google
Great event for children of all ages, even fun for adults. Quite a few stops that have candy. Love the halloween decorations that are set up throughout the zoo. Second time going there, probably will go again next year. I would recommend buying tickets ahead of time.

This zoo was by far the best I've been to the animals are very well cared for the exhibits are really cool and well suited for them really nice place to visit especially in the morning when all the animals are active

  • 5/5 Erica M. 2 years ago on Google
Adult admission price is $11/person. I'm certain children under a certain age get in free. ALL proceeds (admissions, concessions, ext.) stay within the zoo itself! You can purchase different size bags to "mine" for different gemstones, you can feed the giraffe for $1, decent little gift shop. Was just a great place to visit and relax. Bring your walking shoes! This place has a lot to offer it's visitors! Free parking, walking trail, and picnic area outside of the main zoo entrance. Definitely planning on going back again and soon!

  • 5/5 Pink H. 2 years ago on Google

As others mentioned the glass could use some cleaning. Seems like a popular spot to take kids. Also has extras like an adventure park on site with a zip line which I did not do. Quite a few displays here and staff was nice and knowledgeable.

  • 4/5 Bic P. 2 years ago on Google
Nice variety of well cared for animals. Some of the enclosures are so large and natural that the critters might be hard to locate. There is a beautiful display area for river otters, but alas the otters were in hiding. A baby macaque was a hit, as well as the penguins. The aviary allows close contact with birds, but a rather belligerent one-eyed pelican reached through the grates and grabed our four year old by the leg. He was not injured, just somewhat terrified. The bubbles allow children to go into the colony with prairie dogs and the badger. Well done! Admission is half price after 4 pm on Wednesday.

  • 4/5 Tyler B. 2 years ago on Google
Great time, of course not all animals were in the mood to entertain. Definitely will be back. Also the Adventure Park was a lot a fun also, zipline and rock wall. Friendly/knowledgeable staff. I would advise checking the website for hours/rates as well as what time of year certain portions of the adventure park are a available.

Always a fun experience. We don't even live in WI, but our family comes to the New Zoo many times every year. Feeding the giraffes and farm animals is a must. Make sure you find out what time those things are happening on the day you plan to go and plan accordingly, you won't want to miss out. The mining sluice is always a big hit with our children.

  • 4/5 Briana D. 11 months ago on Google
Very cool zoo with some amazing animals. To get up and close to many of the animals though, there is extra fees and you have to pay for a better experience. Even the petting zoo was not open due to short staff but you would think they'd be open knowing multiple field trips where happening? I'm not sure. But we had a great day and the staff in attendance were super friendly.

  • 5/5 Dark M. 10 months ago on Google
A nice zoo it's small so it won't take too long but there's a variety of animals to see. I suggest coming early or later because that's when they feed the animals so they'll be most active. I heard you can also sign up to ride along with the feedings.

  • 4/5 Jacin V. 1 year ago on Google
Great zoo, my partner and I really appreciate what they do. It was a good time. We didn't get hatecrimed which was cool. 😎 Needs more garbage cans, I even picked up trash off the ground to throw away but couldn't find a trash can to use. Frustrating. Lots of animals inside because temperatures but we understand and would rather see zoos respecting their animals' natural habitat more often like this, rather than forcing the animal out of their element. We wish there was an inner section/building that would allow you to see these animals, but perhaps budgets don't allow for that. This was my 2nd time visiting. We would go again for a 3rd. :)

still a nice little zoo always has been since i was little im glad i can take my kids to enjoy it im sad there short staffed though some exhibits are closed due to this still worth it

  • 5/5 Shaina L. 10 months ago on Google
The staff was knowledgeable, friendly and the zoo seemed to be kept up well. Some animals did have smaller enclosures than I'd like to see, but the zoo does have some upcoming expansions planned so it didn't bother me. My toddler had fun feeding some animals and the zoo seemed to be a good size for visiting regularly. The NEW zoo was one of the nicer zoos I've been too without feeling overly large. The park was easily walkable with a stroller as well

  • 4/5 shanighnigh 9 months ago on Google
This zoo is fairly big and has lots of neat animals. But I didn't like that they didn't have a petting zoo. Most zoo's let you pet the goats and pigs and stuff. But this one the animals are all fairly far back. They did have quite a few you don't normally see at zoo's like moose. The moose was my favorite to see. Murphy was adorable. I liked the bison too and the lion. They had a train and a merry go round but I couldn't figure out where you got tickets for them. The zoo keepers where really nice and answered a lot of questions we had. It's not the best zoo but it was not too expensive so I can't complain too much.

  • 4/5 Jacob T. 8 months ago on Google
The new zoo is a smaller experience, currently under construction, available for all ages. With many species of animals and a playground for younger kids. This could easily be a fun morning or afternoon of learning and fun! Just avoid the free range peacocks.

  • 4/5 Amanda J. 9 months ago on Google
Absolutely one of the best zoos I have ever been too! Animals look well kept. Variety of animals. The only downfall is the amount of bird poop on the ground/ pathway that my family tried dodging ( might’ve been from the peacock lol).

Always a great place to bring children or have fun checking out all the animals and the landscape, all with a pretty good price tag for a fun afternoon

  • 4/5 Sarah H. 9 months ago on Google
NEW Zoo & Adventure Park in Green Bay is a small zoo with many animals native to WI, but that's what makes it cool. You can get closer to the animal exhibits than you can at a lot of other zoos. It's well-maintained, clean, and a nice place to walk around and see the animals. The price for admission is also affordable, and they have a cute gift shop. The only downside to the NEW Zoo was the woman working the front entry. She was extremely rude. She yelled at kids coming in for talking, was snippy to someone who called in, and was short with people entering the park. The other friendly staff looked embarrassed. Overall, it was a nice and quick visit that was worth it. The adventure park aspect didn't appear to be open while we visited, and they did have posts about being short staffed but this didn't personally affect our visit.

We visit this zoo at least once every summer and always on that one randomly beautiful 30° day in late January/ early February Wisconsin likes to surprise us with after months of relentless wind chill. If you can find time to go in the winter, DO IT! The animals are out and sometimes pretty active. Today was our first time going to Zoo Boo for Halloween and it was a definite treat. It was set up quite nicely and really allowed for us to comfortably social distance. Kids really enjoyed themselves. I know it's different from previous years, but we don't feel we missed out on anything. Some of the nocturnal animals were active and trying to find some in the dark made for a really fun new experience.

Such a cute little zoo! 2 hours is the perfect amount of time to wander around and visit each animal. The moose was for sure the coolest part. Overall it's a bit clutter-y looking, but come on--admission for January is $5, how can I complain?

Great variety of animals. Very clean. Super kid friendly. Excellent info on the signs. Open year round. Nice bathrooms. My only criticism is that it would have been nice to have a room for moms to nurse or pump. Feeding the giraffes was amazing!

Yesterday, we visited, and I have to say it was a great time to visit. It wasn't busy, not too hot, not too cold, and we were able to view all the animals without crowding. A plus was the lion roaring in his pen. You can hear it from far away, very cool!!!!

  • 5/5 Laurie M. 3 years ago on Google
Wonderful outdoor place to visit especially during the pandemic. The animals are so nice for lityle ones to watch and learn from.. They do not have large crowds during the week. Sanitizer is readily available. We wore masks but some didn't. Still people overall seemed consciously to maintain space. So nice to have a relatively safe place to go.

Came with my infant daughter and for 10$ you could not beat it at all, she was able to see all the animals up close and the layout of the zoo is easy to follow, doesn't have as many animals as milwaukee but the cleanliness here is peace of mind and its a very nice place

  • 5/5 Allanon A. 4 years ago on Google
To start the admission fee is only 9$ per adult, with a great membership program to boot. There are a pair of adorable giraffes to feed for only 1$ per feeding. Certain times of the day allow a V.I.P feeding session valued at 10$ per person. 5 tickets are available per day for each assorted animal feeding. Make sure to reserve the date in ADVANCE! Animals all seem well cared for, if you wish to see more activity out of them, try a cooler day to go. Which will hopefully help optimize your experience.
