My son, brother, and I did the trail early one Saturday morning in order to avoid the hot sun. It was a moderately easy climb up. The path is very easy to follow, which is next to the main road of traffic going towards Aburi. There are several vendors on the way selling refreshing drinks. People with all fitness levels were doing the walk, including very young children. There are lots of encouraging signs on the way to keep you going, which was great, and some were showing how many steps had been done so far. The views as you get higher are awesome, and that alone is worth the effort. The actual path is very narrow and is used by people going in both directions so it can be tight with people trying to squeeze past one another at certain points. As the path is only separated from the road by a metal barrier, parts of it are protruding into the path, where obviously accidents have occurred. So it is worth being mindful so as not to be injured or trip. At the end of the trail, there were people doing exercise classes in which we joined for fun. It was a great experience, and I would recommend it to people of all ages and fitness levels. Just go at your own pace.

The Ayi Mensah trail is the road leading to aburi and I must say, this road is a mix of feeling for myself. A little bit of fear because of how curvy it is and a bit of enjoyment and calmness because of how cool it is to be driving there. Very beautiful road and the moe you climb the more you can see how beautiful and high it is around.

These hidden trails really give you the opportunity to see a different side to Accra, away from the bustling city, you’re surrounded by the beauty of nature and can actually looks over the entire city from East to West. On clear days, you can even see all the way to the ports and sea. If you’re still yet to visit the hills, this hike will be the perfect first introduction. And if you’re already a seasoned visitor, there are numerous trails you may not have walked before to choose from. One of the most phenomenal walks in Ghana

Keeping fit has never been as popular as it is now and Ayi Mensah Park offers just the right place to keep in shape. From its winding paths to the lush green vegetation that borders it, the hiking trail keeps your mind relaxed on simple things: nature, soothing calm and what not. The ambience is generally quiet for the most part and generally full of birds and insects chirps. So, if interested in keeping fit and spotting the right location for mindfulness, simply visit the hiking trail.

One of the best hiking trails if you're in Accra or close by. Take about 40-55 mins to complete depending on the number of people you encounter and has some of the best palm wine as well as snacks you can get in the trail. Best to start the hike by morning, I suggest a few minutes before the first light

A fantastic scenery, a long healthy walk ascending and descending hill, with small walk space. Mountainous view, with fresh uncontaminated air and abundance of geological rock features. I love that place

One of my go to places for hiking on Saturday morning. Other hikers motivates you to press on, it good to take a rest when you exhausted, but the experience of reaching the peak is top notch as there is no describing it 😁 Its a great experience and a close to nature experience, you get to meet like minded people, various groups and organisations that are interested in taking their health seriously through exercising. Don't forget to get yourself fresh coconut juice to replenish the energy on your way back, do this regularly to stay in shape. And all always remember to not over do it by going at your own pace, either by walking 🚶, jogging 🏃, running or biking, whichever mode suits you, go for it and it with a bang 😊😊💥💥

Nice place for hiking trail. One has to be extra careful because some of the rail guards are destroyed by moving vehicles.

Many know this place to be called the Aburi Mountain. It is used by many from all over the country for hiking and jogging especially those in the capital(Accra). On weekends especially on Saturdays people from all over gather in groups and also individuals. The starting point is usually from the then toll booth or the Ayi Mensah Police Station and the end point is the Peduase Lodge which was build by the then first president of Ghana(Dr Kwame Nkrumah). I live near by so almost every Saturday am on it jogging. There are also vendors at every point who sells especially water, drinks along the way in case you want to stop and refresh yourself and when you get to the end point too, you'll find all sort of food to buy in case you'll like to eat after that. There are quiet some neat restaurants at the top where you can eat from especially our local dishes. If you are outside the Country and you visit Ghana and need a place for hiking or jogging in terms of exercise I'll recommend this place for you cos it really stretches you looking at the distance you have to cover from the start point to the end point. I forget to mention - the view from the top is beautiful as you keep climbing you'll see how the landscape at the bottom has been designed. You'll love it

Trying to spice up your exercises or work-out life? Just join the hiking path every weekday, weekend or holidays. It's on this path that I realized I'm not alone. I met different people, JAMA groups and it's so thrilling. Facts Facts Facts!!! The Ayimensah Hiking Trail Tortoise 🐢 path is 2822 steps excruciating journey. For me, midway to peduase tends to a spiritual journey, I feel out of body and more energetic all the time.

Excellent accommodation, I really liked the rooms, they are super comfortable, spacious and modern. The friendliness of the staff was also great and the breakfast was vast and tasty. I liked the view from the room. Another point in favor of having parking, which is something very difficult to find nearby. Congratulations and good luck
