This place deserves 5stars rating but I gave it 4 because of the experience I had here. I'm a tour guide, my clients requested I search a classic resort/event center for their hangout. I drove all the way from Accra to this place for more enquiry just to be told I needed to buy the visitors package first which costs about USD$ 150. The truth is I wasn't really in a good stand to pay so I had no other option than to come back to Accra.😰

While I was only there for the Safari, I was able to tour the rooms where you can rent. The animals throughout the property was very nice. The riding tour I took was nice but having the walking tour of the property appeared to be even nicer. I was limited on time so I settled for riding tour. The walking tour you are able to view animals closely. I was very impressed with the grounds. Everything on property is natural and eco friendly. The chalets that you rent were very nice. Each room was nicely decorated. The outdoor shower within the bathroom was very nice. The pool area that each chalet had was a nice addition. The food in restaurant was all farm to table. No spices with MSG and other additives aren’t used in the food. Staying in chalets, the meals are delivered all day. Just a spectacular place

The place was creepy and terrible, I saw a tiny snake in my bathroom. Customer service was rude and mean. I never want to experience such again in my life.

The resort was really nice , food was nice , the butler who was assigned to us was really good at his job.. but I’m giving this resort a 3 star because I don’t think they vet some of their workers well.. it was my birthday and cleaners came to clean and decorate the room with flowers .. that was the only time someone who wasn’t my husband or I entered the room while I was there .. and they stole my money .. 20 dollars and 20 pounds.. imagine them stealing ur money at a resort u paid a huge amount to stay .. I reported to the butler and let him handle it so as not to put him in trouble but that one on the other hand didn’t even do anything about it .. that’s why I’m writing my review here .. stay in safari valley but make sure u don’t have ur money out in the open cuz they will steal it!!

Best resort in Ghana to stay for a weekend with the family. They have activities for all and the ambiance is truly rich with that customized Africa touch. Everything you need can be arranged for you ….just enjoy the hospitality.

A serene atmosphere to relax after a heavy week long activity. The tour guide was excellent in knowledge and expression of care, joy, and attention. The food was great, and customer service was classy. I had a great experience with my touring group.

It’s such a serene location to wake up. I love the location. And it’s not just about hotel experience but also wildlife. However, I’d be happy if management could invest in elephants as there can’t be a wildlife experience without an elephant.

A lot of work has to be done. It is over priced and better to have more options in term of entry fees. For example I am not a huge fan of local food so I paid for something I didn't use and no way to buy different food. The pool is too small and not clean. The good thing about it is the landscaping but it is not used very well. Service is good.

I’m not a fan of safaris ans outdoorsy areas, but my workplace booked this for a retreat. The staff were excellent, especially my butler Emelia. She was truly a star and made me feel so comfortable in spite of my fears and worries.

Spent 2 weeks doing some company training and the whole process went very well. The rooms need some maintenance but in general very comfortable and relaxed feeling to them. Food was very good, good range and quality was great. Service overall was good, staff were very helpful and happy to see you. Unfortunately they ran out of local beer frequently.

Modernity enhances nature at Safari Valley. Impeccable cabins with woody, natural accents. The butlers are also well-trained and at your service 24/7.

Impeccable resort. It's nothing short of impeccable. I went for the day visit package to scope the place. This includes all activities except accommodation and the canoe ride. You get to choose one meal as part of the package: breakfast, lunch or dinner (buffets). The day package included a tour of the place, the tour guides give you information about the history of the resort, details on the animals at the resort and also vegetation. The package also allows you to partake in any of the available activities which include: golfing, Jenga, archery, basketball, football, volleyball, badminton, table tennis, a gym and many more. The entire resort is navigated by electric carts. Staff drive residents and day visit clients using these carts to their destinations. In summary, my experience at the resort was absolutely wonderful. I have never had the kind of attention from staff anywhere else. The food was also really good. The view was beautiful and peaceful. The only thing that wasn't pleasant for me was the 5km stretch from the main road to the resort. Without an SUV, you will have to drive really slowly and carefully. It isn't bad, but it's rocky and you will have to drive quite carefully. I would recommend this resort to anyone at anytime. Day visit or to be resident.

A really great place to experience nature and play games. Multiple games available, all accessible once you pay the entrance fee. Great for kids. I recommend you arrive early (by 9am) to have a full experience if you are doing just a day.

A good place to reconnect with nature. There's a wide array of wildlife for one's viewing pleasure. Only electronic vehicles are used for optimum service. Wonder customer service by all staff

Great experience w my family of 5. I was impressed by the layout, food was amazing, staff are world class trained. Our stay was packed with activities and we were never bored. I would recommend this over many world know hotels. Left feeling proud of Ghana and Africa.

One of the best if not the best with safari-like park and resorts in Ghana. Recreational activities with animals(foreign species) leaving in natural habitat. Be warned 😃: venue is luxurious and expensive 😃

The open roof shower in the master bedroom is truly an experience ! You see the stars at night and enjoy the sunshine in the day time while taking a shower .Perfectly concealed from any prying eyes.lol

Top class. Wonderful experience. 3 nights and really relaxed. Staff are super but the food was the highlight. Breakfast, lunch and Dinner. Wish they had better coffee. No Gold Coast Roasters but hey. Kids had a ball and loads for them to see and do. Will be back.

We (my wife and I) were there as honeymooners, and we were looking forward to enjoying our stay. Mind you, this was our second time there. Our experience begins on a not-so-great note. At the reception area, the place was sweltering to the point that I was drenched in sweat and my wife’s makeup got messed up. No worries, we proceeded to their restaurant and the food too wasn’t great either. Also, we were supposed to have had a personalized butler service during the length of our stay but that didn’t seem to be the case. “Our butler” will reveal to us that she’s providing services to another guests On top of that, she will send us lunch and dinner menus 30minutes after we’ve asked for it, and when we opt to have lunch and dinner at our cabin at 1 and 7:30pm, we’ll end up eating at 3 and 8:40pm respectively. I hope no one will have to deal with this, as management needs to do better.

Scenic views, healthy meals, eco-friendly environment, experience of nature and animals in close proximity, comfy cabins with individual pools and your own butler. The Safari valley resort offers you an escape from the hustle and bustle of city life and helps you appreciate nature.

Beautiful setting highly over priced. The registration and welcome was disjointed. It looks like they were overwhelmed by visitors do lunch service was poor. There I'd nothing safari about this place

We just went for a day trip and it was not worth it! It is very far from Accra. The food was ok, the pool is small, and the tour was very quick. We cannot believe how expense staying there is. Maybe staying there is worth it but very unaffordable for most people.

I recommended this resort for my sister and her family who came from Canada to visit. Even though it was pricey I convinced them to stay there and the social media advertisements was top notch. However they disappointed us big time, the place looked deserted, dusty and empty rooms. They found a bat in their room in the middle of the night ( like seriously a bat !) A resort that is just 3 years old looks like it’s 30 yrs old, very very poor maintenance of the property. Management needs to sit up big time else the place will collapse!!!
