Chandika Sthan is a Hindu temple situated in Munger, Bihar. It is one of the fifty-one Shakti Peethas, places of worship consecrated to the goddess Shakti. On the Northeast corner of Munger, Chandika Sthan is just two kilometers away from the Munger town. Being a Siddhi-Peetha, Chandika Sthan is considered to be one of the most sacred and sanctified temples, as important as the Kamakshya temple near Guwahati. It is believed that Sati eyes was fallen here when Mahadev was doing the Tandev.

I've been there recently, and it's very peaceful. The Goddess Chandika's right eye is worshipped here. Legend has it that the eye had fallen here during Lord Shiva's Tandava, and the temple was subsequently built to honor the goddess. The temple is famous for its Navratri celebrations and is an important pilgrimage site for devotees seeking blessings from the goddess. "The eye is considered a symbol of divine power and is believed to fulfill the wishes of those who offer prayers to it."

Beware of the pandits, they will charge you to enter the main temple of Maa Chandika. They will charge 500 to enter the temple and 500 if they chant some mantras. So, to avoid the charges , keep your distance with Pandits.
