Absolutely amazing food. Went here three times during my stay. Great vibe of different people and a good drinks selection too ....the beef shawarma was my favourite YUM

Dish of the day was very tasty and good value for money considering the local Lebanese financial collapse the country is facing. 15,000 LL for the entire meal when the black market exchange rate is 6000 LL for $1.

Raseef is a wonderful place with wonderful people. It’s a laid back restaurant/coffee shop/bar where you can have a bite, a drink, a cup of coffee, meet with friends or come and work. The staff is lovely and the place has its regular dwellers. People know each other and that makes Raseef feel like it’s really more than just another consumerist - fast paced - eat - drink - and leave kind of place. If you’re looking for “original concepts” or “authentic experience” don’t come here. It’s really a no frills place. Oh and the food is great (especially the kebbeh sajjiyeh). The menu is a reflection of the culinary talents of the staff that works there: there are dishes that come to us from the south of lebanon (delicious kammouneh!) all the way to Iraq. Much recommended.

Great place to have coffee or a drink. Only problem is that it takes time for the waiter to take your order. Other than that the place is great right in the heart of hamra it offers a unique experience that can’t be described with words. It’s a must experience sit

Simply the best - definitely in Hamra, and perhaps in the whole of Beirut. Beautiful but laid-back surrounds, fresh dishes, plus delicious (and reasonably priced) cocktails to suit all palates. Raseef strikes exactly the right balance between lively and chill - no loud music, full of interesting conversations, warm and inviting at all hours. The kind of place where a bookclub might be meeting out front, while a group of friends play cards at the back. Special appreciation goes to the highly professional but understated service.

Really enjoyed the new location, the conviviality, sun, sky, warm interiors the faces of Beirut. Super yum Toshka if you want something filling and a rare Occassion to have meat in any eatery these days. Love the set up. Covid friendly. Work friendly. Pet friendly outside. If you are visiting from abroad tip well and support Lebanese businesses holding through.

It’s a cozy and chill place for a casual outing with friends, to work on projects and assignments, to write a diary entry, or read a book. The hot drinks taste good, the vibes are relaxed, and the cat-in-residence gives you the care you need. The only downside is the slow service, even though the staff is warm and helpful.

They had a beautiful chef in their old location, but it seems when they moved the food changed and it is no longer tasty as before ! Please bring the chef back! Nevertheless the staff are warm and helpful!

We loved Raseef Beirut so much that we ate here twice during our 5 night trip. Then food was delicious, the portions are generous and the setting is warm and friendly. A must in Hamra!!

Just around the corner of our hotel. Hidden away in a quiet street. How a cheese pita and mint lemonade can taste so nice in the morning. And after a long walk through the city, back for a snack and a few drinks. Great place!

Previously "Aunty Salwa". She sadly passed away a couple of years ago but the new owner is deserving of her legacy. Down a dark side street and easy to miss, this small bar/cafe is a great find! The entrance was "guarded" by a friendly alsation dog, inside we found a young, trendy crowd with a gentle vibe. Daily house specials and a decent menu offering Lebanese classics with lots of vegetarian/meat options reasonably priced, there is a good selection of alcoholic drinks. A warm welcome with helpful suggestions, We spent 21000LL (£11) per person on meze including a drink each. Highly recommended!
