This is a hidden gem, located in a tight little road and offered what 5 star hotels fail to offer. A friendly stay. The rooms looks awesome and super nice, the staff are amazing and they even have a rooftop pool

A very well designed small and contemporary hotel with polite and helpful staffs. The buffet b’fast was well laid and hot breakfast could be ordered. Unfortunately the location is not that great although close proximity to the Martyrs’ Square. It’s located amongst the part derelict high rise buildings and these stare at you when you look out the hotel windows. It’s difficult, dangerous and unsafe to walk from the hotel towards the Martyrs’ Square criss-crossing through heavy traffic on the highways with no traffic signals and chaotic traffic. However, view of the Port from the roof lounge is good. The small gym located on the 1st floor did not have AC switched on for three days running and there was no ventilation. After repeated complaints finally AC was switched on. For two days running the carpet just outside the room door in the corridor was not cleaned although the room was cleaned. There was small litter visible. The toilet roll holder fell off the wall and the toilet seat was loose on arrival at the room. Surely these should have been noticed by the cleaning staff before our arrival? All the above were rectified fast after reporting to the receptionist.

Beautiful hotel near the downtown of Beirut. This review is for the rooftop restauranr and not the hotel. The rooftop overlooks the downtown and mediterranean sea and has a small pool. Service was okay, food was delicious and personnel friendly. Highly recommended around sunset time!

The hotel is beautiful and you have more amenities than you'd ask for - which is great! We stayed for a couple of nights here and it was very comfortable, enjoyable and clean. The room was spacious with a great view of Downtown Beirut. The beds were comfy and everything was spotless and clean. The breakfast was okay but nothing to tell home about. The last floor where it's served has a great view and nice interior. What I really didn't like is the staff attitude and service; now I can't say I interacted a lot but I did ask for a very early breakfast as I was checking out for my early flight around 4 am. They were not very accommodating at all and all I asked for was a croissant or something. They could've been more attentive and friendly with this. The waiter at breakfast also wasn't very attentive or pleasant but it wasn't a big deal really.

Convientely located, very clean rooms, comfortable beds and excellent customer service. Centrally located, definitely recommend for young adults or business professionals as you have easy access to the highways to explore the country. Part of the Small Luxury Hotels of the World Will definitely book again.

Overall I had a good 4-nights stay at the hotel. Location is great with easy access to downtown area, bars and restaurants. The front desk staffs were friendly and efficient. Room is spacious, quiet and the shower is good. Breakfast is adequate but the staff could be a little more cheerful. Roof top bar and "dipping" pool is nice to chill out while taking in the view of the city if you are into it. What could be improve? 1. Plastic flowers everywhere. As part of the SLH, I am surprise to see that no fresh flowers but plastic flowers everywhere! 2. The closet door is poorly design that makes it jam all the time. 3. Room has a strong scent (fragrant) but it is simply too strong. I requested them not to use any air freshener which they manage to fulfill but still the scent lingers.

Tasteful, classy and luxurious! The rooftop pool is cozy and cool.. The food is extra special, must try the steak and the pain perdu.. the concierge isn’t amazing though.. couldn’t arrange the airport pick up and couldn’t make any reservations in night clubs.

Great hotel in convenient location. It is very minimalist hotel with small rooftop bar next to mini pool, a restaurant one floor down and a ground floor bar. The rooms are simple but quite modern. If you want a down town location this hotel is a good option. However I can’t give it a perfect score as I have been to many 4 star hotels that are at the same level (coffee, tea and ironing all for extra cost as not available in the room).

A very luxurious and beautiful hotel. The experience is amazing. In this review I will only focus and talk about the dining experience since this the main reason why I visited the hotel. To start of and before saying anything about the food I just want to point out that the bathrooms are extremely clean, and hygienic. The staff is extremely friendly and very diligent. They were paying attention to all the little details. Whenever my glass of water was empty someone would fill it back before I could ask the waiter to do it. The food quality is amazing. The taste, the texture, the presentation. I had several dishes and they were all authentic, made with extremely good and fresh ingredients, and they all complemented each other. Let me explain : we started with some salads, a breaded shrimp salad and a goat cheese salad. The shrimp was cooked to perfection and had no taste of the sea as some other places, the goat cheese was authentic made with high quality goat cheese. You can really taste the difference. For both salads the vegetables were fresh and the choice of vegetables complimented the shrimp and cheese. The main fish was very creamy mushroom rozoto. The mushrooms were very tasty and you could tell that fresh mushrooms had been used and no canned ingredients. To top it all off some graded parmesom cheese that also tasted good. The stake was delectable. The meat was tender, juicy and cooked to perfection. The side of gratin was also good. For desert we had a chocolate mouse and a lemon sorbet. Chocolate is not my favorite desert but this mouse was very good. It was not too sweet nor was it too bitter it was a perfect balance between the sweet inner chocolate and the dark outer glaze. The lemon sorbet was very refreshing. The roof top has a nice view over the city and the ambiant music was carefully selected and fit the occasion. Overall a great experience 10/10

Great service and staff were very welcoming/helpful. Location is good but outside the Down Town area by a 10 minute walk. Pool is small but not an issue if you want to explore the gorgeous and well maintained city of Beirut

Comfortable rooms with all the extras, amazing location. On a quiet street, just steps away from all the action of the historic center plus many trendy, cool design restaurants and bars. A must in Beirut!

Over priced... overrated and Location is not wow at all.. specially with this club infront of it where the music is too loud till 7 am.. The street is so dirty around the building you smell pee.. and beggers under the bridge and garbage surrounding.. definitely not to recommend... unless they took serious measures to fix these issues that reflect badly

Hotel is NOT CLEAN - Our room was not clean , we found a dead coakroach in the room on our first night. Then we complained and asked them to clean the room and on our 3rd night we found another coakroach! Price - hotel is overpriced

Nice hotel but it’s a bit of a walk from Gemmayzeh, especially at night with Beirut streets being totally dark, and pool is super small, way smaller that what it looks like on pics, with only four decking chairs. A bit overpriced.

I would highly recommend the place, the food was absolutely wonderful, from preparation to presentation, and the service is quick. We were served by a waitress who was very welcoming and helpful. Extremely polite, knowledgeable and very friendly. She had other tables but never failed to make sure we didn't need anything. Made our visit much nicer

We paid 165,000 LBP for using 1 coffee capsule. The receptionist said that we can take the box with us. What the benefit of taking the rest of the Nespresso box and I don’t have the nespresso machine! We used 1 nespresso capsule from the box that was on the coffee tray like we do in all the hotels around the world. At the check out, they charged us for using one Nespresso capsule the whole box and the price for the box is 3.5 times the supermarket price. Avoid using anything inside as coffee or the fridge, you will end up paying more than 1 night charge (2 million lebanese pound). On reception they don’t inform you about the F&B rules and prices!
