Although the vibes of the bar were very positive to begin with, my friends and I were very disappointed with the way they handled the bill. One of my friends does not drink and so was aware of how much we were drinking. We had five rounds of three shots, but the bill showed six. At first, we thought it was an honest mistake and so asked the waiter to remove the extra shot because we only had five. The waiter was not cooperative at all and called his manager over to deal with us and said "ma eleh jlede" (I'm not bothered). The manager admitted there was a mistake and the waiter offered to "dayifna" shots to make up for it. We had the shots, but they did not remove the extra round of shots on the bill, and said you had extra shots. They expected us to pay for the shots they offered us to make up for a mistake they made. We found that to be a very disgusting and sleazy way to deal with the situation. This place, like many others in Mar Mikhael likes to take advantage of people who are drunk and I advise everyone to either stay away or be very careful when they are here. My friends and I will definitely be more careful next time.

We had a great evening at eclipse . Thumbs up for amazing cocktails prepared by the bartender like their signature aperol drink , the gin sour and a passion fruit mocktail. We shared some starters which were tasty and surprisingly light likethe cheese nachos served with guacamole and sour cream , the sweet sour dynamite crispy dynamite shrimps , the mini burgers were delicious, and the fresh and light quinoa shrimp salad . Dj played nice music , staff is friendly ,attentive and very helpful . Cheers from eclipse beirut .

Eclipse is a very entertaining pub in Beirut that provides great ambience and music. The owner and the staff are very efficient and friendly. This place is a must visit in Mar Makheil. Will definately visit again and again everytime in Beirut.

Music is not good and they try to fool you when you paying

When we arrived we asked for the menu but they didn't give us one and the drinks were pricey and without alcohol. They don't even know what hospitality means. As soon as our drinks were finished they told us to order again or leave. When we booked a table, they didn't tell us that we needed to pay entrance fee for the match. When we told the waiter that they should have told us about the fees he shouted on us "talk to the manager" NEVER AGAIN

Extremely cool place with nice cocktails and live Arabic music performances of high quality! Brilliant atmosphere. Seems to really be a place for the locals. Am pretty sure we were the only tourists. Awesome!

Worst service ever. When we first booked the table they didnt tell us about a service fee of 200k per person. There is no menu and everything is very pricey. The second we finished our drinks they told us to either order again or leave. Also, the drinks are with no alcohol. When we told the manager anout the issues he shouted at us.

The service was very bad, slow. While paying the bill, they tried to get more money for the drinks for which they wrote the dollar price, citing the exchange rate difference between the dollar and the Lebanese money, and they accepted this by force. I definitely do not recommend

All they care about is money, very unwelcome place, we ordered 4 drinks ( we were 3 people )and they said it wasn’t enough we should order more in order to stay evn though they said they will not be taking a minimum charge. We were gonna order more and spend our night there but we felt really unwelcome so we decided to leave at 10pm on a Saturday night.
