History is here. One of the oldest Falafel shops in town. He and his brother got separate shops next to each other as they had a fight and made the split. They always compete with quality and prices. This shop is always cheaper with a great taste. Both prices are more expensive than usual shops but hopefully they are using better quality ingredients and oil. It is a must try if you are passing by DT Beirut and craving for a delicious healthy fast sandwich. Highly recommended :)

Probably the best original falafel I’ve ever had in my life. Simple yet tasty and reasonably priced.

Best falafel I’ve ever had in my life. I went to the one on the right, blue, because it seemed busier. I felt bad for the red guy.

It is the best falafel in Beirut. The original is the Blue shop (M. Sahyoun). The taste is superb and delicious. You need to try the place before leave to Beirut.

Went to the red one on the left, generally I like my falafel crispier. Otherwise the vegtables were freshly sliced and I was given the option of how spicey. More expensive than I have paid elsewhere, but I am a tourist and do not know the local economy.

I think this is like a Mecca stop whenever someone visits Lebanon Beirut because this is a must visit shop to try the Falafel. For me this is probably the shop that I have ever tried the best falafel the first bite you get a hot one it is hot, crispy and so flavourful and soft on the inside. Don't scrimp if you can just order the big one which is the sandwich extra it will leave you very satisfied. Hang around for a while to catch the falafel frying process and the making of the sandwich. Was honoured to have the famous owner doing hands on wrapping the sandwich and see how fast his hands are. Even singer Bryan Adams visited this place and enjoyed the falafel. Its a great combination on the fresh vegetables and the sauces used that till now makes my impression of the sandwich so memorable. Don't be mistaken cause there are 2 shops side by side selling the same thing. You know you are eating from the right shop when you feel so satisfied and happy.

Incredibly good falafel for a great price —probably the best I’ve ever had. They’re a bit on the smaller side so I’d recommend getting 3 for 2 people if you’re having lunch!

Cold and oily falafel which means they're old. On top of that owner started convincing me that they are supposed to be cold. Disappointing. I actually havr a stomach ache!

For 200,000 watch them build your wrap right front of your eyes. The bread was the weakest part of the sandwich, but the freshness outweighs the bread faults.

One of the worst tasting falafels in Lebanon, if not the world. The falafels are dry, soggy, and tasteless. I’m not sure how this place has been around for 90 years!! The service is ridiculous, and the place is not very clean though an old man was “attempting” to clean while we were ordering take out.

I went twice to the blue store haha! Falafel was decent and tasty. The price is 150 000 liras.

It seems like they're selling a branded sandwich, banking on the trust that people will still buy it. Given the high price, it would be appreciated if they could reintroduce the flavorful tomatoes they used before 2019, rather than opting for cheaper, less tasty ones to cut costs. Using subpar ingredients might harm the brand's reputation. This is just some advice I'd offer.

Falafel from God. Awesome!!! Hot, tasty, fragrant. Fresh falafel, cooked right in front of you. I recommend this place! This is the brother's place on the left side.

Best falafel I've had in my life! Crisp, light, delicious and so cheap! Honestly you have to try this place if you're in Beirut, it looks so unassuming but food is great.

Actually I don’t know which one I’m reviewing now. But the one with blue signboard serves great falafel sandwich. Simple ingredients but balanced taste and not too heavy. Didn’t know about the other shop next door but I would rather try both to compare.

Best falafel hands down! You can eat and eat then eat again! While standing up lol! It is just a very tiny little store in downtown Beirut!

I tired 3 pieces of falafel from both the stores and they were just awful. All I tasted was the oil with some crunch. A couple of days prior, I had the falafel from Barbar which were excellent.
