A classy italian restuarant in downtown Beirut just few blocks behind beirut souks in the heart of Beirut. The location is amazing where you can have a nice short walk to Zaytuna bay or just in DT. As for the taste its great, though the pizza was not the best and cheese was tasteless somehow. The crust was great just to mention. However, the pasta was amazing and they start buy bread selection of mini bites. Its part of Kampai a famous sushi resto which is above it. The atmosphere in general is also cool. I recommend cor a classy italian experience.

Tried out Gavi this past weekend on a Saturday night. The interior of the restaurant is absolutely stunning, with a very original ceiling & lighting design. We ordered a few items off the menu to share: - Gnocchi Pecorino (3/5) - Spaghetti al Pomodoro (4/5) - Pizza Vegetarian (4/5) - Pizza Quattro Formaggi (5/5) Service was a bit slow, and all items arrived at the same time, although we were sharing them so some plates got cold while we ate the others. Our waiter Bashir was more than helpful and friendly - make sure you sit in his section. Prices are above average for some platters (depending on portion sizes).

Excellent service, tried the new lunch menu and it is superb. For 55$ you get a starter or a salad, pizza, pasta, main course and dessert. Salad, ravioli, pasta and starters were awesome, the tartuffo pizza was a little bit below average and the steak was super bad as it was overcooked although we wanted a medium one. Gave our comments to the manager and they offered to change our plates.

Nice Italian restaurant, authentic dishes, very expensive, very delicious food. Great location, terrace in the spring/summer, simple setting. I ordered Filet mignon (forgot its name on the menu), and my friend ordered spinach ravioli tomato sauce, both were delicious. I ordered Cannoli it was stuffed with ricotta and pistachio, I dunno why I didn't pay attention to the fact it mentioned pistachio on the menu (I guess I just wanted to have cannoli) I like the traditional cannoli without the pistachio, I guess some guests would like the pistachio twist, I didn't, but it was tasty. My friend ordered Crème Brûlée, well it was Crème Brûlée. If you like Italian food and you happen to be in Beirut, check out Gavi. The name Gavi comes from an Italian wine named after the city Gavi Piedmont, province of Alessandria, Italy. Near Genoa.

I used to love the tiramisu but not anymore cause they changed the Ingredients, so not tasty anymore. The salmon dish is good. Location is nice, friendly staff but in general food is average.

Gavi Restaurant in downtown Beirut is a true Italian delight! The atmosphere is inviting, and the staff is welcoming . The Arrabbiata sauce packs a spicy punch but is incredibly tasty, adding a flavorful kick. To top off the meal, the pain perdu was excellent—an overall great dining experience.

One of the finest Italian restaurant . We had the risotto and gnocchi truffle it was superb. The spaghetti with shrimps is to die for .

Japanese Italian Fusion spot in a great location in Downtown Beirut. Service is great. Friendly staff. Many good options. Not very knowledgable with their bar/drinks but you go there to eat not drink. I don’t think their Wagyu is Real Japanese Wagyu. Might be Australian but they insisted it was Japanese after they said it was Australian. It tasted good nonetheless. Not sure what to think about the salts and sauces they brought out with it. I usually like to eat it by itself but it was nice to try them out. Desserts were good.
