Overpriced for what you eat. He is as expensive as Dubai but not the same quality. I mean I can pay for Massimo Bottura the same amount and have a 50 Best restaurant quality. Basic cooking should be revised, don't change a recipe because u want to be cheap and make more profit. The Pizza is not a Pizza even though they have a wooden oven. What a waste of money. Service was overwhelmed as it was busy. They have pork on the menu which is a bonus. Very mixed feelings, as they suppose to have good product but it is not well executed.

Do not come here it is a trap. We ordered 3 dishes: 1. Arugula salad (1/5) Barely any dressing, it was a dry salad and no salt or pepper. I had to ask for olive oil and make my own dressing on the table. 2. Cacio e Pepe Pasta (2/5) The flavors where there but the pasta was closer to raw than al dente and it was served cold. I did not understand how a restaurant that is at 20% capacity served cold food. 3. Bianca Pizza (1/5) The crust was burnt and the rest of the pizza was under cook. Each slice was flopping and would not hold together. I am not sure what the deal is but someone needs to re-evaluate how to cook the pizza. In addition to the terrible food experience: - The bread basket we were served was extremely stale and not fresh. If it is not good quality, why serve it in the first place. It only created a negative experience. - The service was average, even though the restaurant was way below capacity, it was difficult to get anyone to help us. I hope the restaurant reads this and actually takes action to improve. This is genuine feedback.

The best Italian food in Lebanon. I have tried plenty of Italian places but this place wins all of them, especially the one in Gemmayzeh. Carol was our waitress and she is so sweet plus she gives the best recommendations!

The Italian decor and warm feel take one on an Italian journey. The music is nice. As for the food it not only looks good it tastes just the same. The Gnocchi Alla Siciliana is truly impressive you have to try it if you find yourself in this cozy restaurant.

Headed into this cute Italian spot as it was underneath our gorgeous Airbnb and boy am I glad we did! Incredible service that included helpful and friendly staff. There was endless free homemade focaccia with gorgeous chilli oil and balsamic vinegar. The pizzas were fresh, large and warm. The bruschetta was also a hit to start with and the waiter was great at giving recommendations. Overall great atmosphere and GREAT Italian

If you need to get the Italian taste in Lebanon, this place is your go to one! It’s a good place for a date/ small gathering! The hospitality/ service/ food quality were amazing! I just didn’t like few small things about the service: the table missed some forks and napkins... the bill took a bit long to arrive (even-though the place wasn’t full)

Love the new location! Delicious pizza dough! Melanzane was good, Tiramisu was okay. Great service! the place was fully booked, so guys literaly had to run between tables. They definetely need more staff.

We recently dined at Appetito and while the ambiance was pleasant and the food very tasty, our overall experience was affected by significantly delayed service. The food arrived at our table much later than expected, and unfortunately, it seems that two orders were overlooked. While the staff was polite, the delay impacted our dining experience. We hope this feedback serves as an opportunity for improvement

We ordered the following: -Veggie pizza: I was in love with the pizza.thin crust, crunchy, sauce is super tasty, rich in fresh veggies. -Chicken alfredo: Fresh pasta, tasty sauce, tender and juicy chicken. White Sauce tasted so good and light. Plate was very delicious. -Crispelle Ricotta and Spinaci: Crepe stuffed with spinach topped with white sauce and cheese. Perfect mix. Was very tasty as well. Prosciutto is actually normal ham (and not the best) cheese on pizza is okay at best, shame to have a beautiful pizza oven and not know how to use it. Buffala bruschetta tastes like industrial mozzarella . Ravioli is nice. Good service overall.

New location soundproofing is really bad, noisy place, almost had to scream to have a conversation. Food was good (bruschetta, salmon pasta) but portions are too small for such prices.

The appetito team is friendly and hard working. Jack was smiling and trying his best to serve all the tables.( he was alone) I appreciated that. The food was good ( Okay but does not match what appetito used to serve before the crisis) We were a group of 10 . Booked a week earlier and we even chose the Salads and Appetisers 2-3 days earlier. It seemed that there wasn't enough preparations made To accommodate us. For example I informed them ahead of time that we will have wine but there were no wine glasses . Appetisers and Salads were served before our wine and we couldn't make a toast before our dinner began. Theywere understaffed. We had to get up many times so we can ask for something. For example call for someone to tell them that the wine is not served, then again to take our main meal orders. There is a definitely a room for improvement. But overall a okay experience .

worst so called italian i’ve ever eaten from. i ordered their mushroom risotto and really the rice was way under cooked and swimming in butter. it didn’t taste like anything. never eating from there ever again.

Love coming back to the place as the food is super delicious but this one last time (Oct 1 2022 around 3 pm) the place was empty but food was coming really slow! I really wish you guys could speed up the service so that we don’t hesitate coming next time and people would enjoy the meal to the full.

I lived a year in Milan and I can honestly say that the pasta I had at your resturant was so much better than most restaurants in Milan. The food was just amazing! However, as much as the food was amazing I would most definitely come back because of the amazing hospitality and energy that the staff greeted me and my cousin with. It was such a delight to be served by Hassan and Mano! The manager and the staff made sure that our time at Appetito was extremely delightful and memorable!

We used to go to the old Appetito before the blast and it quickly became our favorite Italian place in the neighborhood. After a small decline in quality at the beginning of the crisis, Appetito is back to what it used to be. The food is great, the chef is a superstar, it feels good to visit, Mo the manager AKA Francesco is amazing. Try screaming Francesco across the door when passing by, he can make you laugh even if you’re not in for more. Just one request for next time #PBBTF (please bring back the fries) they were the best in town and cannot be traded for baked potatoes. ☀️💚🙌🏻

We had an amazing experience at Appetito Trattoria in Gemmayzeh !! The food was delicious .. great pizza and great pasta !!! The waiter Mo was awesome :) he was very friendly and gave us perfect recommendations !! We would come back happily (but will make sure to reserve first)

Didn’t know what to expect. As someone who lives between Lebanon and Italy, I’m very specific about the Italian restaurants I go to in Beirut. Appetito Trattoria was a pleasant surprise, the salad was great and definitely a mouthful (Barbabietola), the pizza didn’t look like much at arrival (I’m too used to the Napolitan) but then I remembered the Romana thin and crispy touch, and it is now definitely my preferred, it’s not chewy, it’s perfect! Our waiter Mo was an absolute gem, his sincerity and attitude showed me that management has done a great job in uplifting its staff, which he later confirmed. They have my favourite Italian wines and the Tiramisu did a great job at lifting me up! Great job guys!

What can i say, the authentic Italian food that everyone is looking for in beirut. I’ve never had such tasteful and fresh food in beirut before. The service was amazing and the atmosphere is on point, would definitely recommend it

If you're looking for the PERFECT date, this place is for you😍!! I came here with my close friend to have a nice birthday lunch and I didn't regret it and you wont as well if you're a pasta/ italian lover as us:) We ordered POMODORO E BASILICO and MARGHERITA and for dessert we had AFFOGATO AL CAFFE. The margeritta was a bit salty but tasty and the pomodoro was perfectly done (ask for spice). The affogato caffe shocked us and it is highly recommended if you like coffee. I'm gladly coming back here soon!! And you should too☺️ ps. The lady serving us was so sweet and made sure we had a great experience, so thanks for the great service🥰🥰
