This place should be called "Le Gomme Bar"! All the rolls (maki and signatures) are extremely chewy! The type of nuri wrap is so chewy that it stays in your mouth as a gum :D. Additionally, the prices are ridiculously high and in dollars! - Value for money 0/5 - Taste and quality 1/5 - Service 4/5 - Interiors and outdoor area 5/5 Can't recommend any item because all below average.

One of the best sushi places in Beirut. All the appetizers are very good. The sushis are very tasty and the bite size is perfect, not too big and not too small. You should really taste the sushi with the pink fish powder, they’re my all time favorite! The design of the whole place is amazing, super chic and modern. The food presentation is great! However, keep in mind that it’s really expensive you will need at least 45$ per person.

Loved dinner at Le Sushi Bar. Everything was fresh and delicious. Not the cheapest but extremely recommended. Note that the hotpot is not the traditional known hotpot. 9.5/10.

Le Sushi Bar in Downtown Beirut is the perfect place to indulge in some of the most delicious sushi and sashimi dishes in the city. From the moment you step inside, you're greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and the friendly and professional staff make you feel right at home. The menu is full of exquisite dishes that are expertly crafted and beautifully presented. Whether you're a sushi aficionado or new to the cuisine, you're sure to find something that suits your taste buds. The freshness of the ingredients is undeniable, and every dish is bursting with flavor. One of the standout features of Le Sushi Bar is their talented bartender who creates some of the best drinks and cocktails in the city. They have an impressive selection of spirits, and the drinks are expertly mixed to perfection. Whether you prefer a classic cocktail or something more innovative, you won't be disappointed. Overall, Le Sushi Bar is a must-visit for anyone who loves sushi and sashimi. The quality of the food, drinks, and service is second to none, and you're sure to have a memorable dining experience.

Located in the middle of downtown Beirut, posh area. The restaurant itself is beautiful, and has an excellent loungey ambiance for night drinks. Regarding the food, expect to be blown away by the flavors, everything here is delicious. The blue crab tacos are mouth watering, and the grilled salmon sashimi is out of this world !! My wife even ordered a veggie sushi roll (which I disapproved of) and I ended up eating the whole thing myself. Would go again and again, just note that it is a bit pricey.

The restaurant is very nice and the staff are very professional and attentive. Fried squid and seared salmon appetizer were on point. I found the sushi selection is lacking and the absence of creativity, artistic presentation and flavor do not justify the prices charged at this restaurant and I'm giving 3 stars because we came here for sushi. We tried 2 of the desert's. 1st japanese cakes stuffed with cream and covered in caramel sauce was a big hit. The other, a chocolate ganache lava cake with vanilla ice cream, was a miss neither of us cared for the cake or the ice cream.

I’m not sure from where to begin: the relaxed and breezy atmosphere, friendly staff or tasty food. I went there twice consecutively and both experiences were as good. The staff is incredibly friendly and keene to details. The food is delicious, tasteful and fresh; especially the sushi. The atmosphere is cozy, pleasant and breezy. The addition of ventilators in their outside area beats the heat and humidity of the hot beirut nights making your evening more pleasant. I had a great experience with both the service and the food. If you’re up for a tasty japanese dinner, I highly encourage you to try out this restaurant.

The worst hospitality in downtown and Beirut. I booked a week in advance and specifically said I’d like a table outside. First, they called to confirm the reservation on the wrong day, but that was corrected. When I arrived, they sat me inside on the worst table. It was a low uncomfortable couch. When I told them I had booked outside, she said it’s fully booked. When I asked her to change our table inside, she said everything is fully booked. She didn’t find any solutions and wasn’t even nice about it. So my family and I left. Never coming back here again. There is great competition in the area and with a hospitality like this, definitely a failure.

Beautiful decor but food could be better. Had the cod gyoza, mushroom rice pot and a few rolls, expected them all to be better, especially given how upscale the restaurant was. Coming from Dubai, the quality just didn’t compare but the service and ambience were great.

Excellent experience for adults as well for the kids who appreciate experiencing different ingredients. Glad to see that quality is maintained in terms of service, menu and ingredients varieties.

One of the best fusion Japanese restaurant in Lebanon - I wou.d even add the Middle East (been to many) - Japanese is usually is a safe and predictable choice but at Le Sushi Bar you can get impressed. Do not restrict yourself to the rolls, as the menu offers diverse dishes and many NOT to miss: Spicy edamame, Kale Salad, Cod Fish, Sweet potato, Tuna Tataki, Mushroom and Rice in a Clay pot.. The waiter was very professional and knowledgeable! She took care of every single detail of our experience. She knew the menu is and out. Asked her to bring us one of their signature drinks (her choice) - she got us a really creative and awesome drink with Zaatar. The drink was very smooth, easy to drink but still had the desired effect! I have removed 1 star for the following reason: I completely understand the 2 hours rule - living abroad it is a standard practice! Nevertheless, this time was borderline harassment. We were informed when we made our reservation - which we agreed to -, then, we were informed at our arrival, during our meal and 3 mins before the 2h ended we were asked to leave. That's 4 times in total which left a sour feeling onto a a really amazing evening. We have already agreed to the rule, we didn't need to be reminded every 30 mins. At the time we were still having our drinks - so an advise to the company: train your manager to move us to the bar to finish our drinks, or continue our evening rather than kick us out 1) It could generate more money for the bar 2) avoid table overlaps 3) keep a happy customer. OVERALL - Very recommended

Service has been consistently excellent this summer. Highly recommend the duck salad, the shrimp tempura, octopus hotpot, baked alaskan crab roll as well as the salmon skin futo maki. Try the beef ribs as well! The atmosphere is nice too. Its on the pricier side but definitely worth it!

As always, my favorite nb one sushi place in town if not in the Middle East especially now with it's new location. Still amazing food, always fresh although i used to like the old menu more but the new one is not bad at all. The bar area is fabulous in addition to the drinks are really wow. Good luck

I walked in today and tried to make lunch reservations. August 27, 11:30 AM. I said to the hostess my dad is 90 and he needs a chair with armrests not too far from the entrance. She said that was not possible. I pointed to a chair with armrests and I said there’s one. She said she couldn’t move the chair. I said really? You can’t move a chair to help a 90 year old man? She said no nonchalantly. I said we were here a month ago and somehow a chair with armrests was moved from one table to ours. She said she needed to ask management and get back to me. I said you need to ask management if you can move a chair from one table to another to help a 90 year old man? She said yes. I walked out. Don’t bother ask management. We had lunch at this place last month and service was good. The waiters were very nice and helpful. They arranged for a chair with armrests and cushions. What was different this time? We were 7 then and the bill came out to $830. I paid $1,000. The hostess today was very rude. She couldn’t care less…
