This is the old lighthouse of beirut. It’s still pretty and well taken care of, your usual navy and white lighthouse, but it is part of a residential building now. I’ll try going up a nearby building’s roof and take pictures from there and i’ll update y’all.

It is sad to see that politics and corruption have led to building blocking the old lighthouse. They decided to build a new ugly lighthouse by the sea. While other countries preserve their history to remember traditions. We constantly tear our history down for short term profits and please the ego of corrupt contractors and politicians. :-(
