And Mrs Fadia was exceptional she explained everything that we need to know about the wine and she was waiting us on time ... I will go again there

The tour at chateau Musar by Fadia is by far the best wine tour we have ever done in Lebanon. She is passionate and informative and teaches you how to truly appreciate their products. You taste a very good variety of wines. She even teaches you how to taste wine correctly!! This is a must if you love wine.

Just had a bottle of Chateau Musar 2014 Cabernet with ribeye steak grilled over a wood fire. A wonderful wine and delicious paired with this food. Donegal, Ireland

One of the oldest wineries in Lebanon. They have a great tour and a shop where they conduct the tastings. Very knowledgeable teams that answer all questions and give great insight into the wines and the wine making process. Do pass by and ask for Fadia.

Free tasting nice wines but be prepared for a 1 hour presentation first. The hostess, Fadia, was incredibly kind but repetitive.

To say I enjoyed myself would be a complete understatement. First off the drive to Chateau Musar is not difficult as it is easily accessed from Jounieh. It was merely a fifteen minute drive up from our Hotel-Bay Inn Jounieh. As the grapes are grown in the Bekka Valley, you will have a tour of their facilities. Fadia our guide was absolutely spectacular. I could not have imagined someone so wonderful and informative. We were shown their machinery, wine cellar and storage rooms which were an absolute treat! The wine tasting portion was amazing too! My partner and I purchased Chateau Musar 1978 and 1994 as we can only bring two bottles back to Canada between us. I highly recommend a visit to Chateau Musar and again kudos to Fadia for making our visit a highly educational and memorable experience.

Hands down, this is one of the best wines I have ever tasted.. I'm grateful to have had the chance to taste this amazing wine, most probably made with love. Among top 1% of all wines in the world. A great wine from Lebanon, to the world. I wish I can find it abroad, it's not easy to find. But you did, make sure you don't miss getting one or more. Looking forward to go visit the chateau in my next trip to Lebanon.

The staff is very friendly. They offer a great tour with plenty of information on wine production and wine tasting. They have three categories of wine, the most aged one being Chateau Musar (white and red). The Chateau is delicious and costs around 42 dollars (depending on the production year)

Unexpected explosion of flavour ! Excellent wine. Hope to visit one day. Please see my photo posted up of a lovely bottle of 2009 that we enjoyed at home in Singapore ... great accompaniment to steak and thyme (see thyme in photo)

Astonishing to me that the Hochar family continues to operate at such a world class level after 80+ years and amidst all the troubles. Had a wonderful '97 Ch. Musar today in honor of the announced discovery of the oldest Canaanite wine cellar yet discovered (Tel Kabri), and was reminded again why wine is such an intimate element in the human experience.

Excellent wine, however the winery itself is not very well equipped for visiting.

Kind of went to Lebanon just for this, and it was worth it. I first had their wine in London and I was blown away. Probably the most enjoyable wine tasting my wife and I ever experienced, and tasting wine is what we do best. This is a must visit, even if you don’t live in Lebanon. Coolest cellars I’ve ever seen.

We had the best time today. Our guide, Fadia, was so informative, funny, kind and helpful. We saw the wine cellar and she explained to us all about where and how their wine is made. The cellar was an experience for all of us. She took lots of pictures of us and made us feel so welcome. During the wine tasting, she taught us how to taste the wine and took her time. The wine was excellent and smooth. Highly recommend! Make an appointment before you go.
