Brilliant University that offers education for everyone nearly free of charge. The campus encompasses several Faculties, sports facilities, green and parking spaces.

Very good University that offers education for everyone nearly free of charge. The campus has several Faculties (Engineeing, business, law, art, science and others), sports facilities, green and parking spaces enough for a lot of students

bad university. i do not recommend to register in 2019-2020 because its is already now on strike and it will be on strike next year too. do not register or else your future is lost. i know mostly poor people join because the university is affordable. but the professors of the science faculty are bad and causing the strikes, thus i wont recommend any person to join it , unless u r planning to lose 1 year of your life. i do not want even to give a star but i want to share this review. shame on all the professors and lectures of this university, all of them should be fired and new panel should be hired.

The Lebanese University received for the first time an idea in the speech of former Lebanese Foreign Minister Hamid Franjieh, on December 11, 1948, during the closing ceremony of the third UNESCO conference that was held in Beirut when he said: “Lebanon hopes to see in this place a Lebanese university whose spirit is the spirit of UNESCO” .

A true nightmare for poor people who are trying to get a better life . Work hard and never give up no matter what . You enter the university and get out as a completely different human being . (if you passed) Get to know it before you enter . Visit it yourself

Public education institution, for cheap affordable prices. The campus has green spaces and is beautiful, despite the renovations and maintenance needed. Regarding education, students need to work hyper hard, because of the very few facilitating factors. Try to make the best of your learning journey there.

This University is not for everyone Because cheap≠anyone has the ability to study in it Unlike any other university it needs much much much more time and effort. I hope that in the future things would get better.

This Is The Main Official University in Lebanon which isn't for everyone even if you are Lebanese. Everyone has the right to learn right? This University doesn't agree with that.

WARNING THIS REVIEW CONTAINS REAL FACTS ABOUT LEBANESE UNIVERSITY THEY WILL NEVER TELL YOU . Worst university ever. Doesn't even deserve one star. The teachers & some of the staff in administration treat you like you're their enemy. Very rude, disrespectful and neglectful of student's needs. They don't reply to phone calls, also the info on their website is very vague. The curriculum is really bad and overloaded for nothing. The courses are outdated and they never try to update anything. The teachers are very conceited, & unqualified to be giving any lesson. Most of them have gotten their jobs through personal connections (yes exactly what you think I mean) . And every now and then, they decide not to work under the false pretenses they're not getting enough salaries . You could never anticipate when they take that decision and for how long. As a result of that, they waste months of your studying time span. The university is not well maintained and overtaken by political parties. I used to be in faculty of science and the roofs leaked water. And the entrance to the university is flooded with drainage water. If you are a foreign student thinking of enrolling in this school I highly don't recommend you. Please, stay away from this rotten institution. This school has been hell to me, as a lebanese student. I couldn't imagine how hard it'd be for an international. The websites are not professional at all , misleading, poorly designed & maintained on purpose to mislead students. Corruption has eaten this dead university to the core. Trust me I'm not exaggerating when I say this is the worst school ever. They gave me my official transcript certificate after 3 years from graduation. And I have never found any job ever since I graduated. And the universities abroad don't accept my applications to master's degree because the courses I took at this university are not enough despite them being way too overloaded with unnecessary information. After failed attempts to find a job with my degree, I enrolled to the faculty of agriculture along with many many students who were with me in faculty of science and faced same situation as myself but, I dropped after finishing first year for many reasons. One of them was one of the teachers there trying to sleep with me. Yes you read right This was my story and probably many people's story. Hope you got some sense of what the university is about. My story could not be bad compared to other people who faced worse problems than me. I hope my experience could be helpful to you. Thank you for reading.
