I
had
a
truly
unforgettable
experience
in
Lebanon
due
to
Show
Me
Lebanon.
Without
our
wonderful
tour
guide
and
driver
Emil
(and
his
very
comfortable
SUV),
this
trip
would
have
been
incomplete.
Emil
was
extremely
fun
to
be
around
and
knowledgably
about
all
the
wonderful
and
intriguing
aspects
of
Lebanon.
He
is
very
patient
and
understands
how
to
communicate
with
people
from
different
cultures
and
backgrounds.
We
did
many
things
with
Emil
from
a
tour
of
the
unbelievably
breath-taking
city
of
Byblos
and
the
ancient
ruins,
the
cultural
experience
enjoying
the
Lebanese
Meze
(an
assortment
of
dishes)
–probably,
and
according
to
Emil,
the
best
food
in
the
world
(this
experience
included
learning
how
to
make
flatbread
on
a
stone
and
drinking
local
Arak….
Just
thinking
about
this
makes
me
hungry
😊
),
discovering
that
Lebanon
was
underwater
millions
of
years
ago
and
touching
fish
fossils
found
in
the
local
mountains,
tasting
some
of
the
most
delicious
Lebanese
sweets
on
the
way
to
“Our
Lady
of
Lebanon”
and
finally,
after
climbing
all
the
stairs
of
the
“lady”
we
had
an
amazing
view
of
Beirut
–
a
modern
city.
After
which
went
to
the
Jeita
Grotto
(but
not
before
stopping
for
some
sweets
and
pomegranate
sweet
sauce!!!!)
and
walked
through
the
upper
cave
of
the
Jeita
Grotto,
which
should
be
seen
by
everyone
in
the
world
and
become
a
wonder
of
the
world-
a
magnificent
design
of
nature
creating
amazing
crystallized
formations
such
as
stalactites,
stalagmites,
columns
and
mushrooms.
In
the
evening
we
went
back
to
Beirut’s
city
centre
for
a
tour
of
all
the
museums
in
Lebanon
where
we
also
met
with
Hala,
another
team
member
in
Show
Me
Lebanon,
who
provided
us
a
great
overview
of
most
of
the
antiques
and
ancient
pieces
in
the
museum
(she
is
very
knowledgeable,
friendly
and
fun).
Overall
Lebanon
has
so
much
to
offer
and
so
much
to
do.
It
is
a
country
full
of
culture,
differences,
flavours
and
fun.
Every
corner
stands
another
artifact
of
history
which
is
not
only
important
to
Lebanon
but
to
the
whole
world.
I
feel
I
have
grown
from
this
experience
and
my
view
about
Lebanon
has
dramatically
changed.
This
is
a
truly
inspiring
place
with
amazing
architecture,
art
and
kind
people.
Emil
and
Hala
are
wonderful
people
to
be
around,
I
feel
that
because
of
them
I
learned
so
much
about
Lebanon
in
just
one
day
(but
a
full
day
–
8am
until
11pm).
We
had
such
a
good
time
that
we
are
already
planning
our
next
trip
to
Lebanon
where
we
plan
to
go
with
them
on
a
Wine
Tour.
Thank
you
Emil
&
Hala
!!!
