Not sure where to begin. They never answer their phone calls. Thank God I don’t have an emergency. Finally when a lady answered the phone I asked her if I needed to change my passport because of the Brexit and her reply to me was “what is Brexit”. I thought for a minute I called the wrong embassy. Then she told me to call back and dial an extension that would be able to answer that yet she gave me the wrong number 01/860900. I had to correct her that the number she gave me is incorrect. I called back and dialed the extension but no one answers as well. I’m not sure why they have people working there that have no clue what they are doing nor what’s going on. Not even sure why they have it open to begin with if they don’t want to help you or answer their phones. My wife and daughter are US citizens and when we call the US embassy we get someone on the phone and they know what’s going on. They even answer you after midnight and are there to help their citizens at no cost and at anytime. It’s a shame to see a country that once ruled the earth from east to west and north to south and still consider itself to be a great country be represented like this.

I just need a simple APPOINTMENT with the British Embassy in Beirut to renew my British Passport. Automated system is terrible. It takes you so far but never finishes answering my questions. Using the telephone is just as bad. Cannot speak with a live person. If I have an emergency what will I do. This is so stressful for citizens. I am a UK Citizen living in Lebanon & right now very disturbed at the lack of your response to citizens. It used to be so easy. Whatever happened, the citizens are suffering the consequences. If you cannot handle I will just go there in person to complete my passport since I dont get any help. After 40 mins they cut me off

Visa application has been more than 90 days, it’s been 124 days in fact. These useless overpaid tools don’t offer any help what’s so ever. Better off talking to a dog or a brink wall. Oh you can call and pay £1.37 per minutes to actually talk to another useless, time wasting tool only there to suck money out of you like a vile vampire. British embassy are a joke, won’t even help it’s own citizen. Might as well be an alien.

The embassy staff, Anna and Joseph, were outstanding in their approach when I lost my British passport. They were both a credit to the embassy.

Dismissive and unhelpful. Had two simple questions about the new British passport renewal service. Am a British citizen and finally spoke to a British lady after tackling the embassy's labyrinthine automated phone answering system. She couldn't answer any questions, was unwilling to try and I was was promptly fobbed off to a recorded message on another extension. Could tell she didn't want to respond as a human. Pathetic representation of Great Britain overseas. I'm ashamed of this lamentable performance.

I ask the British Embassy to read my mission letter, but to me, we are a Syrian family living in Lebanon registered with the Commission. We have been traveling to Britain since 2017.10 We conducted the tests and the crisis and our time, we did not travel and we were worse than worse. We suffered from gallstones in the pubic gland under the sun. I went to a doctor who said that she needs surgery and that she is suffocating during sleep and death. I do not have the cost to carry out the operation and now there is another problem with the work permits. My teacher wants to expel me during the next month. 2019/7/1 I do not want you to rush to my beloved country. I love her more than my Know that you will not believe it but the truth and I swear to you and thank you very much
