For a sport that permits cruising around in open fields, smashing balls with all your might and encouraged verbal profanity It surprised me that there wasn't a line up at the front gate. What i found more astonishing still, was that an 18 hole golf course exists in the heart of Beirut. During my visit I met an friendly ambassador named Ali, knowledgeable instructors, a passionate marshal and greenkeepers that love the game. Don't listen to the haters who say this club is unclean and rundown because it's not. It's beautiful and is getting all the TLC it deserves. Do your part and pay your green fees, come on down and have a good time.

A nice and fun place for the kids to play but I never tried playing Gold there!!

Golfers from all over the world, grass is not the greatest and need more work but they are trying. Mosquitoes is a killer. The restaurant have great food

Once you enter through the security gates you step into a different (tranquil) zone! Nice , wide and forgiving course that can be fun for the entire family. Gracious people and extremely nice and helpful. Walking the entire 18 holes proved challenging for me as I am not used to it. They offer caddy service or you can push your own cart. They have a charming club where you can enjoy a cold beer after your done or have a nice meal . It’s a private club but open to the Golf course is open to the public . No need to reserve a t time , but it’s always nice to call ahead of time . Rentals can be arranged as well.

I grew up in this club which has a lot to offer all year round. It has the best sports facilities for tennis, squash, pool, football and basketball. The most unique feature though remains the amazing golf course which is very unique in the region with winding slopes and exciting challenges. It's a family place for all ages!

Where would u Find a place in the Vicinity of beirut with greenery and Birds Chirping ;Golf Club; with playground suitable for all ages and divided to two ;They provide Golf courses for the Young and Old .It is a members-only Club .Watch Out for their Activities Non-Members Can join too.

Had the pleasure of playing golf today at GCL. A pleasant and well-conditioned place and impeccably maintained. We had a good testing golf course, definitely worth it !! Staff were all very welcoming and the coaches are professionals and very friendly. There is very strong club feel with a full membership with visitors most welcome. I would definitely go back.

I had a fantastic time at the Golf Club of Lebanon! Nice course, friendly staff, and serene atmosphere made my visit truly enjoyable. Looking forward to returning soon!

My first ever experience was a mind-blowing one: out of the hussle and noise of busy Beirut sub-urbs, I stepped into an oasis of lush greenery and utter relaxation. We were there over a week for the tennis academy. A great experience to both daughterand father. The swimming pool was so tempting, if I had the time. Perhaps I will write more when I visit next year.
