A very enjoyable green land in Beirut. The area is filled with trees, plants and everything beautiful. You feel like you’re not in beirut when you go there. Horse racing every Sunday. Special events are held there such as The Garden Show and Spring Festival.

We visited Vinifest yesterday to celebrate lebanese wines... it was marvelous and a true expression of our Lebanon... we should all support lebanese wines anywhere anytime

I’ve been yesterday there for the vinifest 2018. It was reAlly crowded and traffic blocked the road. I think that this hippodrome needs a lot of improvement and I didn’t like it when I saw horses enclosed in a small space while lights blew them away. It’s how you should treat them.

A beautiful place for watching horse racing on Sunday. Free entrance for women. Also, this place is very known for organizing event during spring an d summer seasons.

Lovely outdoor space to hold events! In reality though it should be open to all as a public space since Beirut greatly lacks that. For large events such as the annual Garden Show, I would suggest taking a cab as the parking is disorganized, sandy (not asphalt or paved) and super chaotic. Plus parking isn’t free so may as well avoid the whole hassle.

it's a good and a big place to do an event like that and it's a nice marketing idea to show people all the different products and different quality of all the company of wine around a hole country..

It really depends on the event taking place there... it's spacious therefore you'll never find any event unbearably crowded. However, ur shoes will undoubtedly turn brown from the sand.
