The establishment's unfair currency exchange practices were a major letdown, as they seemed to have no qualms about trying to rip off their customers. During my visit, I noticed an alarming discrepancy in the exchange rates they offered. When I wanted to pay the entrance fee in Lebanese pounds (LBP), they insisted on a rate of 100,000 LBP for a US dollar (USD). However, when it came time to pay for my meal in USD, they conveniently gave me change at a rate of 80,000 LBP, even though the current USD-LBP rate was 89,000. What's even more frustrating is that the exchange rate hadn't fluctuated more than 3% in the past month. It felt like a blatant attempt to take advantage of customers and squeeze out more profit. As a consumer, I believe in fair and transparent business practices. It's disappointing to encounter establishments that prioritize their own gain over providing a fair and consistent experience for their patrons. Situated in the heart of beautiful Hamra neighborhood this swimming pool is one of the best activities during the summer. With a nice atmosphere created by the decoration and the DJ it surprises you every day. Great food and drinks options. The only down side of it is that they do not have towels for rent and mattresses for all sun beds so if you are late you may end up putting your towel directly on the sun bed. Don’t forget your sun screen 😃

Great vibes at pool d'etat, it's a nice rooftop bar and a pool, a lot of people confuse the name with coop d'etat which was in Mar mkhayel Street, but that last one closed after the Beirut blast. This bar is the same concept and i'm guessing the same owner. The service is great, and the staff are super friendly. There are tasty finger foods and lots of good cocktails. This place is perfect for large groups of friends! Maybe will try it again during the day with the pool open.

Lovely place, cozy and located perfectly on a rooftop in the middle of Hamra. The food is epic especially their nachos plate! The pool is small but does the job. Make sure to be there before 10:30 otherwise good luck finding somewhere to sit for tanning What I didn't like at all and the main reason for the 3 stars is their "Guys without girls aren't allowed access" policy. Some other pools and clubs apply this rule as well, but it think it is medieval and ridiculous!

Was there during the week, entrance it’s 10$/person for the pool and sun bed but sometimes they do not have mattress for it and beware that towels are not provided. Chill vibes, dj, music and nice staff, had pizza margarita and Asian salad for lunch, they were good.

One of my favourite places in beirut. In al hamra Street you can have an amazing time and enjoy swimming.

We visited pool D on Saturday night for some drinks and birthday celebration with friends, the place was nice with good ambiance, the music was a bit boring for a Saturday night vibe. It’s a good place for a chill drink.

Finally a valid option to chill by the pool and enjoy a hearty meal with the most reasonable prices ever. The staff is very helpful, the music is amazing, and the ambiance is young. You can either go enjoy your day at the pool, or pass for their tasty meals, or both or enjoy their evenings usually animated by dj or even live music. Totally recommended

Loved the place ! You can at the same time enjoy delicious food , study and swimm . Entry is 15,000 during weekdays and 20 000 during the week end . Wifi is prett good also and they have a Happy Hour .

Used to be a different vibe. Too bad, different management. A professional photographer was out taking photos of everyone in bathing suits without anybody s consent.

Love this place and its people. Warm and friendly, fairly priced and bar / resto is open and covid friendly across seasons. You can get some bites and good drinks, a summer special is a lemon grab. If you are an expat or visiting from abroad would be nice to pay and tip well, over 10%. Support local business in Lebanon.

Avoid sundays since its get crowded with kids and gets pretty annoying. Entrance fee is affordable 10 ,000 lbp if u wanna access pool. Practical if u wanna get tanned for few hours. Minted frozen lemonade was fine . Staff is friendly . Come during week days its much more chilled ...

Place was was packed, they had a band playing which was cool. Nice selection of imported beer, and good place to chill with friends. Service was kinda slow, waiters were not much present around you'd have to go to the bar and order it'll be faster. Located is very central in Hamra, same building where Cafe Em Nazih is.

It used to be our favorite place in Hamra but it became way overpriced ! They added an extra 10$ because we asked for a bit more of gin in our gin basil ! We also need to mention that The showers are dirty (hairs everywhere). The service is not matching the prices !!! I don’t recommend it anymore … so sad !
