The newest Ikea store located in JGC. Relatively smaller to IKEA Alam Sutera. I came here on weekdays and the good news is that the place is relatively quiet. The famous ice cream machine, the meatball, the restaurants are all there. Don't forget to register on their website to came into this place. You need to scan your Peduli Lindungi upon entering this place. Oh here you need to pay for the parking, following Jakarta's standard regulation.

Newest IKEA to date in Indonesia. The facilities, starting from parking lot, toilets, etc still very well maintained, which is a nice perks to have with these brand new stores. Store layout seems alike with the Alam Sutera store, which made me feel familiar even though was my first visit. Visited on a weekend noon but wasn't too crowded, which is nice for us, can explore freely. Oh yeah, food is also great, as always with IKEA.

Nice dining area with reasonable price and lots of tables. Service was great and their employees were very polite and responsive. A must visit place for you who are looking for furniture and accessories to enhance your home into a beautiful living space. I would recommend this place for families with children and couples or even elderly people since this place is easily accessible for people from all age. Parking space is huge, and across the street there’s also a huge AEON mall. A comfortable space no doubt.

I reserved before went there, but as far I remembered there’s no checking that reservation in the entry area. We only should check in on Peduli Lindungi and got info for the time we should exit the area, with the color of label which affixed in the guest clothes. The place is just like the other Ikea, that’s good for searching anykind of your house needed.

So delighted to have Ikea now closer to home. For F&B, do try the Swedish meatballs, the flavors are savory with juicy tender meat. The building is spacious, neat and great to find home inspirations. If you decide to visit, do register at Ikea JGC's website first for which time slots.

A very nice and organized shop. The team also very helpful and kind. The parking lot is quite limited, especially on weekends or holiday season

Nice place to stroll around looking for furniture and household items (discounted items are usually at the far end near the cashiers). Large parking spaces. Not too far from the city, compared to the one in Alam Sutra. It has a place to eat (swedish meatballs come highly recommended; hotdogs and ice cream are cheap). Some spots actually has a nice view to a large pond / small man-made lake (the area that sells beds). Many local families also seem to like taking pictures in the furniture garage area.

I'm not going to discuss much about the store but rather on the restaurant. Parking was very convenient. Strict health protocol is applied. The restaurant area is very spacious. But I have to say, in comparison to other IKEA, this branch has the most delicious and aesthetically appetizing dishes. The QC of the foods here is very well maintained. My favorite dishes are: fish and chips, midsommar dish, and striploin steak. Their mushroom soup is also delicious! Don't forget that their drinks are refillable (except for the juice and bottled ones). For the cold drinks they have several sodas and teas available. For the hot drinks they have tea and coffee. For the striploin, I prefer them medium rare. But if you want it to be cooked more you can request it beforehand, I guess. The fish and chips is above average. Even better than some fish and chips restaurants out there. I also really like the princess cake. Very basic but delicious enough to satisfy my sweet tooth! Overall, I think the dishes offered from their restaurant is more suitable for younger people. Elderlies might not find their dishes appetizing. This place is also recommended if you come here in a huge group of people. Final note, don't forget that this is a self service restaurant! So you have to bring your used plates, glasses, and eating utensils to the designated cleaning counter.

IKEA Jakarta Garden City located at Jl.Jakarta Garden City Boulevard ( inside JGC Housing Area ) Parking area is spacious and easy access. Here you can find furniture and house hold appliances . Showroom area is very big , show detail house area and as in general. The area is clean , neat and well managed. Also available IKEA Cafe ( Second floor ) and IKEA Bistro & Swedish Market ( infront of cashier ). Provided loading dock in basement.

It is a Swedish furniture chain. There wasn't that much variety. The restaurant has a ikea standard menu, and the fish and chips are the best but i ate a meatball.

Coffee is the best! Full of cream and aroma... Design wise failed! Nothing matches or inspiring... Everything looks cluttered.. Colors doesn't match, furnishing clashes with each other... This need to learn from Malaysia Ikea.

Such a great place! Huge parking lot. Friendly and great staffs. Delicious food. Very very very organized. Clean, neat, warm, welcoming ambience. Upper floor where the designs for rooms are displayed, is also beautiful. It's the place where you can imagine and dream of such a humble, cozy, and beautiful home. My favourite menu in the restaurant is Fish and Chips. It's crispy, the tartar sauce is also top notch. Worth the money. ^^ thank you for the experience, IKEA! ❤️ Went here with my best friend. Probably will come back soon. InshaAllah.

Heaven for interior design lovers. Not only sell furniture but also sell the idea and the experience. You can sit in their mock up living room, try their sofas and most importantly enjoy their renowned swedish meatballs

Easy access from Cakung Timur exit toll.. Cozy place like other Ikea store.. Many good things for your household appliances for sure, although seems still found the same items that we bought a few years ago..it is good for people who came to get the same items that they bought before, but we also hope there will be new items in our upcoming visits so we will have other option to add our collection..Last but not least, our fav is to grab an ice cream and hot dog before we leave..

For some people, nowadays IKEA has become a favorite place to visit with friends, relatives or family. IKEA is not only sells furniture, but giving us a fun atmosphere shopping. Don't forget to taste the most loveable Swedish Meatball!

Nice play to shop furniture. It's pretty spacious even though the price is little bit pricey. I tried their famous swedish meatball. It was okay.

Very crowded in the weekend. You have to log in two times to enter (pedulilindungi and their website) making a long queue in entrance. There is a queue in the food section too. Their meatballs are good, full of meat, but their strawberry sauce is a no for me.

  • 4/5 X Y. 2 years ago on Google
Not long queue as alam sutra branch, feel that here is smaller than alam sutra. Some people left empty plate on the table. They don’t know how to clean those by themselves ??

Simply love this store better since it's not too oversized and close to home. The perfect spot when you dine in the restaurant is definitely on the window side where you could see the ferris wheels on top of the Aeon Mall across the street. 90% I come here just to have coffee or take online orders which you could get at the basement near the exit door.

First time to Ikea. I enjoy the visit for sightseeing and eat :). In weekday, it is quite less crowded. Meatball and ice cream are worth to try!

I really liked this place. Its on the outer side of Jakarta so you'll need minimum 40 minutes to reach there. The layout if the store is really good as you start from the second floor and it's made in such a way that you'll go through every section which I really liked. You'll get everything for your home decor that too with a lots and lots of choices. The other thing I liked way too much was their food court which has take the food first from the buffet style setup and they pay and then you can eat. There is unlimited soft drink/coffee/tea you just have to take a glass. Fish and chips and the chocolava were really tasty. Enjoyed my time here

Newest one opened in 2021 in Jakarta area. Easy access and very close to toll way exit/entry JORR Cakung Timur. Covered parking available inside premise. Can be very crowded on the weekends. Dining area's very reasonable in the center.
