Food is well presented and staff are kind. However the service is dead slow!!! waited 50 mins for our order to arrive. The food lacked flavour and spice and was very greasy. Nothing special about this restaurant and is rather expensive for this quality of food. Lastly, avoid all their prawn dishes, garbage quality frozen prawns with no taste. Honestly, will not be recommending this place to anyone unless they really improve on their quality of food.

Went to Indian Summer to celebrate valentines day... the buffet menu was awesome 👌 ... the show stopper was the Prawn dish... The pawbhaji was good... the salads 🥗 were excellent... unfortunately naans were cold and the hyderabadi biryani was a below standard... but very nice to interact with the owner... and the motichur laddoo was awesome overall had a feast... will definitely visit them again..

One of my favourite restaurants in Mauritius. The staff is great and very friendly. The food is amazing. Had the best garlic naan bread and lamb rogan josh. The picture was taken at Hennessy Park hotel and food was ordered as takeaway from Indian Summer Restaurant.

Dined at Indian Summer two nights in a row. Food is good (excellent Chilli paneer), and they take customer service very seriously. Last night, the chef personally came to replace the naan and paratha that had gone cold while we were waiting for the main course. We were pleasantly surprised with the attention. Other staff are courteous and considerate too. Definitely recommend and will visit again soon.

Poor service. Waited for 1hour to get served. And also all person were not served at the same time. Some left after having their food and some pax had to stay and wait for the food to be served. Quality of food is not same as before. Went their after two years.

Our favorite Indian restaurant in the center. Great quality, less oily food than other Indian restaurants, nice atmosphere and very good service (thank you Mahesh). Food is excellent whether on take away or dine in. Since we don’t eat spicy 🌶️, we usually go for the lamb korma and dal makhani. Their Gobi Manchurian is also delicious. And their Kerala paratha are OMG!!! Since we discovered them, we gave up on naans (which are also very good there), as it’s simply delicious. To sum it up, 5+++

Mahi from Rajasthan was very helpful. Very attentive to our requests. Prawn biryani was great! Toilet facilities could be updated.

We had a party with our closed family. That was the best reunion, amazing food, service and hospitality. As a regular customer, I strongly recommend others to have their gathering at Indian Summer.

The taste, experience and service is top notch. Our table attendant, Darshan is a true gem. He was quick, polite and very attentive. The chef, personally came out and guided us on how to mix ghee and gunpowder masala. Definitely going to visit them often. Thank you Darshan and team you all are true rockstars!

We had our dinner after work at Indian Summer and it was such a good experience with the nice staff, atmosphere, nice songs and exquisite food! Special thanks goes to Akshay who made sure we have our perfect end of day!

Bland tasting thali. The butter chicken looked weirdly mustardy yellow and did not at the slightest taste like it contained garam masala or tomato. The thali also had red beans, which were okay; nothing much more than ordinary that could be made at home. Also, I ordered lime juice which was overly sweetened. It was my first time eating there and did not try the other dishes but from the thali alone, it was not worth the money.

The food quality is going down a lil by lil The staff is super friendly , so kudos for that But even after complaining about the food they didn't take any action like they had obviously done in the past if something was not liked by the customers but now they just make okay food , the good stuff has decreased

On the down side : A bit on the expensive side for some dishes but the taste is great. Basic drinks price is was a big shock, for the price of one drink I could have bought a full MacDo or KFC meal. I hope they review it at a more affordable price. Last negative point for me was the overall light ambience. Not dark but lacking "life" or natural light ambience. It felt like lunch at noon but with the sun setting or at dusk. On the plus side : There is a "buffet ouvert" during lunch hour with a reasonable choice and great flavor. The side dishes, aplon and pickles are a definitive plus. Great choice of traditionnal indian cuisine. And the taste and flavors is just awsome.

Food was great, as usual, except for the desserts (we had rasmalai, kulfi and carrot halwa. The rasmalai and kulfi were disappointing this time). Service a bit slow, but may have been a busy night. One of the best indian food places here.

The food is nice, decorations are good but the customer service leaves a lot to be desired, it is way under par. Substandard. Notice the green Fire Exit signs and the direction of the arrow. Does the management expect you to find a 🔥 exit in the ceiling?
