came to the store with a neighbor. she had 8 pcs, I have 9. cash desk up to 10 pcs. the cashier threw a tantrum, thinking that we were alone and we had 17 items. the manager came. we paid and left. no one apologized to us. in a civilized world, such a nervous hysteric would have been fired long ago. the manager did not apologize or try to make amends. village. she also waved her hands in front of her face. outrageous. These people should be kept away from society. She cursed and called bad names. you must know your heroes

First time in Mauritius, and the Super U store is fantastic, has literally everything that you want / need, from food to cologne & including alcohol, with their local & South African beers & wines. Highly recommend for anyone on holiday in Mauritius that is staying close by and want to buy their own goods!

Hi, Super U grand is the best and biggest supermarket in Mauritius. It offers a variety of products under one roof that cannot be found elsewhere. The shopping experience is very pleasant due to the size, arrangement of the products and friendliness of the staffs. Tried all the supermarkets around the island ad I can say with certitude that none is comparable to Super U of Grand Baie.

Big supermarket attached to a new shopping centre. Decent prices and a really comprehensive selection of stuff both Mauritian and European. Food court sells fantastic noodles.

Big, clean supermarket with a great variety. Products are well priced. We like to visit this supermarket when we are in Grand Baie to visit the bazaar.

Excellent place for shopping but some ladies at the cashier really needs some customer service lesson. Specially the one today at O café . No manners at all. PRINCESS ATTITUDE. PUSH CLIENT TO GO TO OTHER COUNTER AND SAY TO CLIENT OPENLY WITH SAVAGE ATTITUDE THAT SHE WILL NOT SERVE YOU. IT'S A SHAME FOR A PRESTIGIOUS COMPANY.. Come on ladies you must learn to be pleasant with Mauritian also not only tourists.

French supermarket with a large selection of French and local products. There are plenty of baby products including nappies, bottles, clothing, cutlery, etc. Good car park and all staff are bilingual English / French.

Shopping at Super U, Grand Baie today. Not too many people. Lots of promos for Divali and Halloween. Promos of up to 40 and 37% on various items like articles for prayer , the usual end of month promos on food and beverages, chocolates, sweets, and all items used in the making of sweets, clothes,etc. Other shops in the mall has promos as well. On the parking there is a kiosk where all clothing items, especially for ladies are sold at Rs350. Parking space available. To be noted, it's my favourite and usual shopping place since it opened.

Its a nice hypermarket with lots of grocery things with different varieties and brands, veg, non veg, frozen foods, canned foods, households, stationary, kitchen items, garments, souvenirs , electrical items, Toiletries, dog foods etc...

A huge Supermarket with pretty much everything

The best 3 cheese pizza of debonairs is right there. and the taste and smell of the hot hazel chocolate tea during the rain is right there. some exquisite shops for woman who loves their dress dress to be exclusive and one piece.

Not much to say other than a huge supermarket providing everything you could possibly want. Situated near a host of different fast food and other restaurants, Chemist, clothes shops, suvenier shops, ATM and easy to find a taxi back to your hotel.

Lots of offers, excellent service, I didn't not the the security guard who was watching me all the time, it really spoilt at the end. The car park could do with some trees, think climate change.

Great place to be with family, friends or coworkers. You have multiple choice for eating. You have a big parking lot There is also place for children to have fun. A great shopping mall for food, clothing, pharmacy, etc...

This is a must go place for any long stay tourist visiting the north of the island. It has everything you could want (3 aisles of cheese no less, plus a large selection of wine!), and we found the prices mostly in line with English equivalents. The whole area here is like a mall with a well organised car park. Definitely a handy place.

Has amongst the largest choices of goods on Mauritius. However, paying is a nightmare. Giant lines, half of the checkout points not staffed, scanning of barcodes not working for every third article, demotivated, slow cashiers. On the weekend, you’re easily in for 30 to 45 minutes just waiting to pay.

The vast supermarket..situated on the ground floor of the Coeur de Villle shopping center, Grand Baie. Generally, Super U offers a membership card for the shoppers and buyers, however it's been 2.5 months long, I had applied for the membership card back in Jan'23, but haven't heard any update from them on the readiness of my card. Super U reception desk staffs are also not sure of this delay, many applications are in queue like mine. Anyway, there're huge collection and variety of almost every household and food items. You will get fresh bread and cake. The list will be endless. You may take a big metal trolley using a Rs 5 coin. And there are two more plastic carriers available inside the Super U, one smaller trolley and another is small hand held basket. Super U has vast free parking arena and there are few recycling containers of different items. Payment happens only in cash and cards. Any items which might need testing, can be availed only after its billing and from the front customer service desk. You can also get refundable water cans. Home delivery is possible till 7 pm and the minimum bill amount should be Rs 4900. A lot of locations in the north is covered for home delivery. There's a readymade food counter and roasted chicken available but limited stock on daily basis. Enjoy your visit and check out the items there. Super U Membership Update: there's an app named Checksa, you need to register there and use the QR code every time you bill in Super U, so you'll earn points and can be redeemed later.

It’s basically a standard supermarket and small-ish mall. If you’re in the area, it has most of what you’d want and need. I’ve found my experiences favourable and would need a good reason to go to another store further away. It also has a number of excellent eating establishments.

I recently visited the Super U mall in Grandbaie and was pleasantly surprised. The mall is spacious and clean, with a wide variety of shops and eateries to choose from. The prices are reasonable and the food court is impressive. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is laid-back and enjoyable. I would definitely recommend the Super U mall to anyone looking for a great day out in Grandbaie.

The atmosphere is awesome, A fun place to visit and a good location for family.

Can be a good choice to have some fun with family and friends with different restaurants, lucky strike, games and playground for small kids. Foods are quite limited in certain fast food outlet in the food court when there's a lot of people during festive moments.

At O café. One lady had ATTITUDE and no employer divided to work between sweet and salty food items. u had get to other counter then go back just for 2,3 items and she gossip as well then she wouldn't serve. Try to be polite with everyone not with tourist only.

Pleasantly surprised , the store is a hyper store with a wide variety of products. The prices are competitive and the quality of the fresh produce is excellent. Great for a one stop grocery shopping trip. Plenty parking as well. Happy shopping folks.

This photo was taken from inside the children's play area at the entrance to the centre. As you can see, the designated smoking area is just a few meters away from the gate to the playground. This unfortunate design flaw puts innocent children at risk of inhaling secondhand smoke and requires customers to walk through a cloud of smoke to enter the shopping centre. Please move or totally remove your smoking area.

Super U Grand Bay is an amazing place to shop.. Huge parking for vehicles, nice weather and Super U, always a welcoming staff . All in one there! 👌💓. Love it.. Huge variety of products,.. really, a nice place. ❤️

Big supermarket meeting almost all our needs.. A BIG QUESTION THOUGH: Who is the baker for the baguette? Absolutely...uneatable..chewy..heavy.. really not up to the standard... May be a new baker for baguettes wd be the answer...or another recipe..or some other flour!!! Should think about it!!

Prices aren't really that good, I understand it's a mall and their running costs aren't that low "on paper" , but anyhow, paid Rs400 for a broom which can't even collect anything. Paid x3 times the price for apples which tasted like cardboard.
