Nice rooms all looking at the sea. Good food by buffet standards and there's another restaurant you can use as much as you want as well, which is pretty good. The Coco bar is another nice option, what views for lunch! The pool is also decent and sheltered from the often windy coast. Generally great staff and good nightly activities as well. The beach is somewhat unusable for more than a splash. It's mostly very shallow but worse are the sharp rocks and mountains of sharp, dead coral. Bring beach shoes! There is a nice sandy bit for swimming but you're lucky to be in up to your knees some days. Also don't expect to be able to go to any other restaurant or any kind of shop without a car or taxi.

Good , relaxing stay, with beautiful views, entertaining staff, and entertainment . Their Hotel rooms are nice, however, their beds, showers and overall cleanliness needs to be looked at. Their food is okay, however their drinks ( water) are way too expensive. This needs to be looked at urgently. The location of the hotel tends to be quit windy and therefore swimming is not always easy at this location. The Spa is amazing , but again prices are quite astronomical.

Great getaway resort. Staff are very helpful in assisting around the resort. Rooms- particularly bathroom area's - need attention especially when it comes to cleanliness. Location is a bit far from anything touristy and costs a bit to get around by taxi. Would recommend going for the all inclusive option if you planning to spend majority of your time relaxing at the resort. It does however require some effort to get a cocktail at the pool or beach as no one comes around to take orders. Some great water activities included too (but don't forget your water shoes). Evening entertainment was awesome.

I stayed at Solana Beach for 10 nights and it was clear that nothing was too much trouble. The reception staff was welcoming and helpful. The rooms were clean with lovely touches like flowers on the bed most days. The grounds were well-maintained and clean. In some places the rooms and site were tired, but this does not detract from the holiday in any way. What impressed me over and above everything else was the food, the Cinnamon buffet was exceptional, the quality of the food and the staff. As someone with a gluten intolerance, they could not have done more for me. The head chef came out most days and showed me what food I could have, which was most dishes, and also made dishes specifically for me. It was clear that they have a fantastic process for anyone who has food allergies or intolerances. I would highly recommend the hotel to anyone. I also booked two trips through Tony on the beach, who is not affiliated with the hotel and the trips were fantastic.

Went there for my honeymoon and I had an absolute blast. The food options and the buffet was great, the service was top notch. Cannot complain one bit. Great options were also provided by the hotel if you wanted to travel & explore Mauritius. I'd highly recommend this hotel.

It's an excellent place to chill out and have fun. The entire place, including the staff, was great. Everything went well, and we enjoyed our stay. Will be coming again for sure. If you are looking for fun, this is the place. Very satisfied!

Sharing the best experiences from Solana Beach Mauritius with my finance team, Woolworths mauritius. The hotel is clean and provides u great hospitality. Mr. Chris is very helpful and will guide u throughout your day.The staffs (Mr. Cedric) were very helpful. The hotel provides u almost every facilities from welcoming cocktails & canape to lunch buffet, unlimited drinks, boat activities. When i say the food was great(i mean it :))Overall experience was awesome.I'll recommend this hotel to every couple and families:). You wont regret,just be there:)

Spacious rooms, great beachfront access. Swim and good snorkeling in-front of your room. Long beach walks. Good fresh food and friendly staff. A value for money package. We had a good rest. Minor room upkeep issue - mattress old. Dining servers need supervision .

Wonderful service, lovely staff, great variety of food, special room service. The surface of the sand was rough because of coral deposits. Good entertainment. Superb grounds great security and a good amount of space for privacy.

What can we say. Superb. We stayed half board, which we'd recommend. ALL the staff are happy to see you and cannot do enough for you. They are a credit to the hotel. Drink prices as a half-board customer are a little pricey as expected. The hotel food is excellent, whichever option you choose. The beach is stunning. There are a couple beach sellers who are trying to make a living, but actually are very insightful, hold good conversion, they are honest and genuine people. Speak to the guy at the green bench selling shells if you want to see a bit more of the island. He freely admits he takes a commission, and the booking experience was a little odd, but it turned out all good. We went swimming with dolphins and saw most of the sights in the south/southwest of the island for little over £200, all in one day. Also venture out of the hotel about 100m North, you'll find a quaint Chinese restaurant; we had the best lunch there (the vegetable spring rolls were amazing) and it is very reasonably priced; just a shame it was really quiet, because they deserve lots of custom! Closest ATM is about a 15 minute walk north (a bit beyond the taxi stand), near the golf resort. Go snorkeling to see all of the fish. Belle mare seems like a sleepy village, you can just walk to it along the beach (maybe a mile or so). Summary - superb staff, awesome food, good location, even better beach, good access to the rest of Mauritious.

Lovely view over the blue ocean. Nice garden and landscape. The hotel is little aged with a bit of a smell and many small bugs inside. We were on halfboard and only food is included for dinner, not even water so you have to set a bill for at least a bottle of water every night. Water in the room not included as well. Just make the room rate a little higher and let some drinking water to be included.

We had the most attentive waiter called Julian. He made sure we had everything we needed, made sure our table was cleared quickly, and was so polite and courteous I wanted to take him home with me. He is a true asset to Solana Hotel and had excellent people skills.

I had a wonderful stay with excellent service from staff. The hotel facilities are of a high standard with immediate access to the beach. The entertainment team was lovely and welcoming. Urvi was vibrant and kind. She gave us great insight. Jayanti (cleaning staff) was exceptional as well.

Nice place with friendly people. Didn’t quite rate the room as a 4* though. I would say 3* at best. (Shower leaked and I slipped over on it, bugs in room, no extra blankets). View is lovely from room. Food delicious but overpriced. Ask for a room away from the restaurant and entertainment area if you’re looking to get early nights in. I was kept awake most nights. Overall enjoyed my stay there.

Solana Beach has my whole heart! I enjoyed my 6 night stay with them and felt really sad when I had to leave. The staff are so friendly, the food was so good, the environment, the tours organized by the hotels, the entertainment, the rum bar 🥰. The only thing I didn’t enjoy was the cocktail but I don’t know if that was because it was bitter as I have a sweet tooth. It’s also very far from everywhere so you’ll feell drained if you need to go out. If you love being indoors like me, you’re going to love the place. Overall, I highly recommend. Ill definitely be staying here again when I’m back in Mauritius.

I went to Solana Beach for a team building journey and it was awesome. Chris has organized entertaining and funny activities that reinforced the team spirit. The staff is very friendly and hospitality is great. The food was delicious as well as the drinks. Recommend at 100%

Hi,, Lovely Vacations at Solana, Amazing weather and excellent Property. Me and my wife visited there on 6 Nov 23. From the day of check in to check out,everything was inch perfect like a magic. Few things I suggest to Management to add on in full on board packages like 01. Complimentary 02 water bottles in room everyday needs to be provided. 02. Our room 1121 shower area needs some new revisions as water sometimes passes through glasses to other side. Overall it was a amazing experience, will definitely choose next time again with same room. Very nice resort, the staff was so polite and lively. The room was nice and big, the balcony was huge. I loved my stay at this resort. I have seen the sunrise every morning straight from my bed, absolutely amazing ❤️ The breakfast didn't have a lot of different things but was nice . Every night had an entertainment at the resort which was very nice to watch enjoying a cocktail in the same time. I didn't like the beach... the water was full of rocks so difficult to swim.. so we had to use different beach. The area - is nothig to do there.. only 2 restaurants outside the resort and nothing else. We were lucky as we had a car and we have managed to explore the country a bit better but if you don't have a car and want to explore thw Rea is quite expensive using their transfers or transport. You don't have a steam iron in your room and you are not allowed to have one in your room. So if your clothes need ironing, you will have to use their laundry service that was a bit expensive. Overall, was a nice stay at Solana beach hotel. Thank you.

Absolutely loved the resort. We were well looked after, staff are so welcoming and warm. Hotel is in a lovely spot where you basically have the beach to yourself. Food is great too & the fact that its adults only is the cherry on the cake, so peaceful!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Stayed for four days over the festive period and we were very happy throughout our stays. The rooms were always clean, the hotel surroundings well maintained, the meals very well presented with good variations, service always cheerful and helpful, entertainments good and varied, management and teams were always available and very helpful. Lovely 3 night stay 30/12 till 3rd Jan 2022 friendly helpful staff fabulous gala dinner and show with fireworks on 31st good food nice location with the east coast breeze. All inclusive food and drinks excellent was varied and buffet style . Would definitely do new year again there.

One of the best resorts I've stayed in. All inclusive package is amazing! Includes almost everything including water activities. Food is incredible!! For breakfast, lunch and dinner! Staff is the friendliest I've ever met. Love it! Makes you never wanting to leave the resort.

We loved everything about this hotel. The room was clean & comfortable, the food was gr8 but most importantly the staff was amazing, specially Chris! Staff are very very friendly, and efficient. Good service. 3 restaurants, showers leak on to floor, very big variety of buffet but most foods including desserts are pretty bland/tasteless (lacks so much flavor). Great beach and pool plus views. The boathouse offers great activities and loved the staff as well.

Food is the same all day every day, with one or two changes . It is getting very monotones. Shower is very much in need of attention, has a mind of its own when and at what speed to deliver water. Not all drinks are available and if, are expensive. Only credit to the resort so far is the staff. Definitely would not return for another stay

All service fantastic. The staff at the bar very nice. I love the garden n the swimming pool. Very clean environment. The entertainment is at the top. Only the cinnamon restaurant is hot inside. Not enough fan. Food is good.

I had an amazing time 🥰🤩 The room was so beautiful, sea view, air conditioning etc. I had the ground floor so my view was just super gorgeous… and the amenities… easily accessible and available to all guests…. An Excellent stay at Solana Beach Resort. All rooms are sea facing with a balcony which was great - all essential facilities offered. Not the newest resort, so rooms could do with some TLC (nothing major - hence the lower rating here). The entertainment in the evenings in the open air viewing deck was a welcomed surprise - and a crowd favourite, to enjoy with a cocktail in hand. A special shout out to Daniella, Sheik and Priyanka to name but a few of the amazing staff and management for the attentive service. Hopeful to be back again soon...

Fabulous hotel, quiet and adult only. Not the beach to swim at in Mauritius as there is a lot of coral but are some short taxi drives away or if you walk about 30mins along the shore. Lovely place to snorkel. We went half board and was plenty as we like to explore and relax by the sea. The service and staff were incredible. I would recommend the hotel to any wanting a break away.

I had a nice stay here. Staff are very friendly and service was generally good. The hotel has entertainment activities most evenings so there's always something to do in the evening. There are also facilities to play pool, darts, volley ball and tennis. My highlight was watching a Sega dance performance. The hotel is close to Belle Mare public beach which is very clean and not crowded at all. Perfect for sun bathing. It gets very windy in the winter, so you may not be able to stay out on the beach for long.

We had the first part of our honeymoon at this resort. It was nothing short of absolutely perfect! Great value for money (especially the all inclusive package),awesome food,friendly staff, amazing entertainment and breath taking sea views everywhere. Thanks so much Solana Resort! Would highly recommend to anyone. Also Mauritius is an absolute paradise. It really needs a lot more credit.😊

Really enjoyed our stay here. Friendly staff. Price was good for the all-inclusive option. Rooms spacious and meals tasty. Despite the resort being fully booked, it never felt busy. Food was tasty. Service from the bar was speedy. Gardens are beautiful and all rooms at the resort have a sea view. The beach is just off the balcony.

Would definitely recommend this hotel !!! Went their only for lunch and we were surprised by the table decoration. We felt so special. The bar staffs were super friendly and very nice. A big thank you to Mr Rakesh and Mr Dominic from the F&B team and not to forget the lady who made made us wonderful pasta at the buffet. Overall a great service. Will definitely come back!

Arrived at the Hotel with no welcome drink but instead the receptionist demanding to know what our confirmation number is when our names are already on the system. The shower head kept on falling down while taking a shower which was very unpleasant especially after a long drive. While at dinner at Cinnamone Restaurant, which was a buffet style, we stumbled over a massive cockroach furthering our irritating experience. Furthermore, while trying to go down to the pool for an evening swim, there was a huge rat running up and down the stairs outside our room. We proceeded to call for help at reception and we're gracefully promised assistance, which never materialised. The gift shop basically sold everything from the Port Louis Market for 10 times the price and nothing exciting. The sales assistant at the gift shop was most uninterested. Upon departure, we were abruptly ordered to leave the reception area as we waited for our drive who was merely 10minutes away. We were told that it was only for guests checking in and that we were taking up too much space even though there was more than enough space for the three of us and other guests checking in. The reception staff are absolutely impolite and unprofessional. Do not recommend 2* on a good day.

Really bad experience for solo female traveller. The check in was good, but the hotel beach is very narrow. Good for white or Indian couples looking for a relax holiday to stay in resort. You will be treated with respect. But for Single indian girl staying there they have a bias towards that. Taxi cost from £20 to £55 for a 20 minutes journey from hotel to nearest supermarket or food court. No visitors allowed in your room. (for reference l was there to attend a family wedding and my sister in law and her father was not allowed in to visit me. They even called my room to shout at me at night. Terrible experience. I checked out the next day and Agoda the online trave agency was wonderful and amazing to get me out of my fully paid non refundable package (l was meant to stay there 2 weeks). Felt like prison. Never again.

Great room, superb ambience and great location. All in all one of my best stays and its an adult only resort. The food was good, we had opted for half board, some repetitive dishes but they tasted good. The service is impeccable with great staff. Definitely visiting again. They have great free sea activities and also rum tasting (which was amazing and there is an option for happy hour as well).
