Sehr sehr coole Höhlen, leider liegt in der Umgebung sehr viel Müll und es streunen dort sehr viele Hunde. Die Umgebung ist nicht sehr Vertrauenserweckend. Mit etwas Pflege könnten die Höhlen zu einer echten Attraktion werden.

A great walk and something worth visiting either as a local or tourist. Easily accessible and the numerous caves are worth a visit. Just make sure to bring a torch(preferably a head torch) and some sturdy shoes. The caves are quite expansive but are clean and quite simple to navigate. Worth a visit.

Als wir da waren war nichts los, nur einige Straßenhunde zogen dort ihre Runden, weswegen wir beinahe direkt wieder gefahren sind. Haben uns aber doch getraut, durch einen Cave sind wir auch gelaufen, bei den anderen waren wir uns aber nicht sicher ob das überhaupt geht. Da wären Hinweisschilder schon ganz cool gewesen.

Ist ein Loch im Boden wo man auf einer Seite reinkann und auf der anderen rauskommt. Man sollte aber eine gute Taschenlampe mitnehmen weil nur mit dem Handylicht wird es da schon recht dünster. Das Parken ist dort auch nicht so der Burner und auf googlemaps sollte man sich auch nicht verlassen, das Teil wollte so nen Fußweg mit dem Auto entlang fahren😳.

These are touristic caves and some of them can be rather easily climbed, if you are fit. There are birds, very few bats and other less sympathic critters inside. Birds (Mascarene(/Mauritius) swiftlets) nest on the roofs in tiny nests. Bats are very rare (Natal free-tailed bat, endemic & endangered).

Good exploration site. However can be dangerous. To go with group ideally. Not recommend in rainy season, check tide level - to avoid in high tide time.

We did not know what to expect so did not have proper gear to explore. Also, access is challenging for me as older person with back problems

There were 6 caves there and all of them were beautiful. The only problem was the mosquitoes. When i looked at my leg there were 13 mosquitoes on it.

Fun for sure for those who love the dark and caves. Roche noire lava tubes are to be visited.

Ein spannender Ort, ruhig, keine bzw nur ganz wenige Touristen und einfach zu finden. Die Höhlen an sich sollten nur mit Taschenlampe betreten werden und man sollte sich vorher mit Mückenschutz ausrüsten, dann wird das ein schöner Ausflug.
