Beautiful garden with large trees, flowers and interesting sculptures and monuments. The is a nearby market where you can get food and refreshments or Winners is very close in Garden Tower. Different side to Port Louis and a great place to unwind from the city. Note that the toilet has a Rs10 entry fee.

Lovely park with some imposing, beautiful trees. Nice to walk throughout the day and you can hear the birds chirping, which is relaxing. Not safe to walk in and around after dark, however and could do with a bit of maintenance.

Beautiful small park in the heart of the capital. Multiple big trees and benches lets you rest in shadow and nature.

Historical garden in the centre of the capital. It's a nice place to relax after a hot day. Restroom is available. Nearby foodcourts with various restaurants. On the other side, another historical building, the museum.

Auf jeden Fall ein guter Ort um vom Trubel der Stadt mal runter zu kommen. Viele Bänke und viel Schatten, sehr gut! Die Bäume sind super, sonst gibt es dort wenig zu unternehmen.

Serene and mystic atmosphere. Good place to breathe some fresh air. Sometimes over crowded. Benches are clean. Shortcut to many. Keep clean please. Paying toilet. Variety of trees are seen.

A peaceful oasis in the center of the city. The bats in the trees were cool

Beim Durchschlendern hier durch gekommen. In der Nähe gab es ein Supermarkt, wo wir uns Eis gekauft und dort verzehrt haben. Schön angelegter Park. Haben dort die Flughunde im Baum beobachtet

Nice park in the city center. On the plus side, it is located close to many interesting locations. Great for a temporary break. A cool wind blows in the park and because of the shade of the trees you can hide from the sun and sit on a bench. Lots of noise from bats even during the day. Opposite the museum there are many places with street food, quite cheap and tasty, prices vary, but mostly 17-19 rupees per flatbread. Despite all of the above, there are quite a few homeless-looking people in the park, and some dogs that don’t seem aggressive. In general, the location is excellent for a temporary respite, due to the fact that it is hidden from the sun.

Closed until further notice.... toilets are....... open clothes and food market is non- regulated, shanty town style and ruins the spot. This is a space created 3 centuries ago and lives off simply its Banyan trees kept in check and the brushing of leaves every moening. Signboards are old, paint is off broken gazebos......

Really nice and well kept garden for a break from the city rush. Garded by the monuments of those who have served and build the Island we live in. The Museum is next door. Bats have made their habitation in the large Banians. There is a paying public toilet and the whole areal is regularly patroled by the police.

Good site to learn about the different personalities of Mauritius 🇲🇺, but some people roaming around the garden are quite suspicious. Constant police presence can guarantee safety....

Nice shaded oasis in the middle of Port Louis. Food centre and a small clothes market. Not glamorous - but it is a genuine slice if Mauritian life.
