One of my favorite garden in Port Louis. Very quiet, beautiful views on the mountains, ideal for a picnic with family. I love it.

A large and calm garden just next to the city centre of Port-Louis. What is surprising is the Russian touch, a path named after Gagarin, a bust of Lenin, etc. dating from 1972. I would love to know more...

A nice garden in Port-Louis, free entrance, easily accessible by car. There is also possibility of come by bus or taxi. It is a good place to be with family and friends for some hours of relaxation. The garden is well maintained, the turf is nice. However on Sundays and public holidays, it is best to visit after 3pm as there will be lots of foodstuff being sold, example salads, cakes, drinks, etc.

A rare place of relaxation in the capital. Sunday afternoon is fun day there with lots of hawkers coming in selling delicious snacks and food But not really safe at night

A very peaceful place and green space in port-louis. However not very well maintained, lots of stray dogs and unsavoury characters. Not safe to go alone and definitely not at night. Not well lit at night.

Love it, its not that huge but very pretty indeed. At around 3pm, merchants start to come and you can get different things to eat.

😐 Lovely park with some imposing, beautiful trees. Nice to walk throughout the day and you can hear the birds chirping, which is relaxing. Not safe to walk in and around after dark, however and could do with a bit of maintenance.

👍👍 Historical area, which is a beautiful garden either side of the main road. Hugely tall palm trees makes this an impressionable area. It’s pretty busy during the day.

👍👍 The park in Plaine Verte (Green Park) has stood on this location since the founding of Port Louis. This bustling heart of downtown Port Louis is as cosmopolitan as was suggested in 1860 by Nicholas Pike. The modern bustle mixed in with the historic sums up this area perfectly.
