It's indeed a lovely place to take a walk around either for sight seeing or actual shopping. Beyond that, there are other activities one can do at this mall. For those interested in history, there's a musuem, there's a cinema to watch movies with friends and family, a casino and there's a variety of shops ranging from pharmacies, to coffee, restaurant, to clothing, to groceries and many more. My favourite spots here are the floating umbrellas and the waterfront. It gives the mall a beautiful and breathtaking view. Great for the gram. The mall is clean, well maintained and welcoming to all and sundry.

Beautiful area. Lots of shops and souvenirs, great lunch spots and places to take pictures. Always a nice island vibe that is welcoming. A must stop for a beer

A lovely place to walk around. Footpaths were clean. Plenty of stalls in the market place to buy souvenirs. Public toilets were clean but busy. Plenty of places to eat or drink in. Definitely worth a visit when in Port Louis.

A lovely place to walk around & hangout with friends & family. Surrounding premises were neat & tidy. Plenty of stalls in the market place to buy souvenirs. Public washrooms were clean which is a major plus point. Mall was also beautifully decorated. Plenty of places to eat or drink and chill. Worth a visit when in Port Louis. Private yachts are also available for renting a ride as the mall is situated at the waterfront as the name tells.

The area has gone through a necessary refurb since first opening. There’s a mishmash of buildings in the vicinity that has a variety of shops available, with options for tourists and locals alike. There is a food court with various options, however. With the area hosting hotels, museums, shops, restaurants, local produce, arts centre, cinema and on-the-spot transit connections for bus and metro. Ample car parking available too.

Lovely lifestyle Waterfront which offers shopping and tour experiences. Its very historic with many amenities to visit with family. The waterfront area is known for its beautiful views of the water and the surrounding landscape. Visitors can enjoy a leisurely stroll along the promenade and take in the sights and sounds of the bustling waterfront. There are also many shops and boutiques where visitors can find unique souvenirs and gifts. Additionally, the waterfront offers a variety of dining options, from casual cafes to upscale restaurants, where visitors can enjoy a delicious meal while taking in the picturesque views. For those interested in history, there are several museums and historical sites that provide insight into the area's rich past. Whether you're looking for a day of shopping, a relaxing walk by the water, or a chance to learn about the area's history, the waterfront has something for everyone.

This is the largest mall or shopping area of Mauritius. There are lots of shops and food places and this place looks beautiful because it is waterfront. It's a good hangout place.

Stopped here just for the vibe. Nice views and variety of food at the food court. There are a lot of stands selling tourist souvenirs. The bathroom was a wreck though.

With the arrival of metro in Mauritius, I can see there are lots of good change, improved and modern structures. Many new food outlets and more food courts. More spaces to roam about. But the parking lots still the same... What really striked me, yes there is a filtered water tap 🥛. Very good 👋. Caudan waterfront is the best place to have a break right now. Have a great day.

Great place in Port Louis to hang around as rest of the city has very little to offer. Great dining options with great views of the port. Coffee shops, fine dining, fast food and pub is the highlight . The place also has shopping options and cinema hall. Very modern, uber chic' place.

I have known Caudan waterfront all my life, and it is one of the best place in Mauritius. Situated on the waterfront of the capital city of Port-Louis, it has several hotels, restaurants, food courts, shopping malls, a cinema, a casino, an arts centre, a bookcourt on site with ample space to sit and enjoy some Mauritian culture, especially if you make a visit at the Blue Penny Musuem. Relaxing by the waterfront is my favorite activity, and that too after enjoying the Mauritian Phoenix beer by one of the restaurants on the patio next to the water. Caudan waterfront is a must if you are visiting the city of Port-Louis. Different vibes at different hours of the day, ranging from opening to lunch time rush, to end of a working day rush, sunset hour and a mostly peaceful place at night - the time when Port Louis actually breathes, except during festivals, the nightlife can be quite enthusiastic. I would recommend!

has been the first major shopping development on the island of mauritius and still is able to keep up with the trends and retain its charm as modern waterfront mall. The complex provides wide range of shops, cafes, restaurant, movie theaters, the art market.

What a lovely shopping centre. The craft section was my favourite part. It's also very close to the central market and you can walk there easily. Probably more economical to do your shopping at the central market and then eat at one of the restaurants at the waterfront.

Great place to visit, bring kids along. Stunning views and architecture. Multiple shops available on site including cinema, shopping, restaurants, dessert palors etc. Amazing place to catch sunsets on the island or to come chill with friends. Best of luck finding parking that can be tricky, the ones available are to be paid for. The ever changing umbrella is one of the many places on site to get those perfect insta worthy images. As of early 2022, parts of the area is under construction or renovation thus the route from via the post office is temporarily closed. How ever the one next to the bus stop on the main road is accessible if you're planning to take the bus to the main portlouis bus stop and walk from there. Once again definetly visit and great place to take the family and kids.

Not much variety in terms of shopping choices or restaurants . You can gaze at the Marina and the boats and yachts for few minutes . You can try the Casino . There are 2 fine dine restaurants - Indian and Italian and a high priced food court which serves mediocre food . Hated the Boulettes which I had great expectations of . The Bol Renverse was too sweet for my taste .

Probably a place worth visiting if you are a tourist. Not many shopping options but you will find some souvenirs ( though they may be costly). On the other hand, there are plenty of food options and also the view during the day is quite refreshing.

A lovely waterfront district with cafes, shops and things to see and do. The umbrellas are vibrant and fun. There is a great indoor Craft market where you can buy original hand made souvenirs direct from the artist. WiFi is available in some cafes and restaurants. It's an easy level stroll with ramps available for easy access to most areas.

Got everything you need and clearly a lot of money was put into building it, but it was quite simply built to get tourism money. Simple as that. Nice to walk around for a bit, grab a bite or a coffee. But the intention is plainly obvious.

Great place to be at night in the summer. Almost all food places are open and you can enjoy a delicious ice cream to end the day.

  • 3/5 AKING P. 3 years ago on Google
Easy accessiblility to metro and food courts but the food is too expensive for a local man like me. The food court services is a little poor some places as they serve you little portions and also being served on paper plate is not ideal for the cleaners and sometimes it fell on the group due to the wind wasting money.

One of the most lively and colourful places in Mauritius. Located at the heart of the city, very close to busy district of port Louis. The colourful umbrellas add a lot of vibrancy to the atmosphere. Plethora of eating and shopping options around in here. It's a must visit when in Mauritius. You would also find good souvenirs here in the art village.

The waterfront has a very good view of the port, ships, Market and the city area in general. The waterfront is simply amazing. Some shops are obviously well organized, well displayed, staff are helpful and welcoming. But the whole staff could gain from a customer service training as well as unconscious bias training as they'll at times serve the customers differently depending on their race. You can find everything there (from hair clips to paintings) maps and directions would be facilitate the customers experience though. Love the variety of food available for all purses, if you want to have a quick lunch or a culinary experience you should visit the place.

I am in love with the new development, outdoor decors and the lighting arrangements all around caudan. Very spacious and colorful. Great place for a walk at night with family and friends. A large variety of foods are obtained from the food courts. The price is affordable. Highly recommended to visit if you are around port louis and very closed to capital terminal bus. People from rosehill can use metro to come caudan.

No public transport after 8pm. So tourists should plan accordingly if visiting this place in the evning. Caudan has a Movie theater as well which plahs english, french and Hindi movies. You can find Indian, Chinese, Italian, Mauritian and French cuisine restaurants here.

Large amount of choice from food, clothing, and others. My complain is that, like other recreational places in MU such as baga, la city, there is nothing really entertaining to do. But it compensate itself with other facilities like direct access to the new capital's markets (Victoria station), have lot of secure parking spaces, a train station, taxi service and more.

The Caudan Waterfront is perhaps one of the most beautiful non-beach parts of the island. It is located in Port Louis the capital. The Waterfront has a shipping yard and a european styled shopping mall. The entire area is very so beautiful. There were several food courts and places to grab quick bites. Although we bought some fresh juice at the entrance which seemed more like a rip off, but the rest of the things we had were great. This is definitely a place to visit, especially when you have spent a lot of time at the ocean and lagoon fronts.
