We went to the hotel for a birthday of my husband.First impression was bad impression, there is no one to welcome you. The Manager Remy has been the worst hotel manager I have ever come across.He doesnt have ethics at all, he is very rude. Several time at our dinner table, he was shouting and swearing in the restaurant for someone who had parked in the hotel. He had such negative vibes for such a beautiful serene place. I literally had to beg of him for late check out since we had our room very late. I really do not recommend this place especially having such manager around!!!

My family and I love this place, we go there whenever we get to. I believe this place is a gem, it brings you back to basic and food is amazing. Breakfast is repetitive but is what you need and I don't expect more for the price. Maybe a fridge in the rooms would be nice but really for the price it's fine, you can have a cooler box or ask the staff to keep things for you if needed. I amused to fancy places and hotels and you cannot compare to case du pêcheur but La case du pêcheur is sooo relaxing!!! It feels like time is freezed. AC in rooms, rooms are cleaned everyday on request, they go out of their way to please you. I am simply a big fan!

We, a group of 11 people, have come for lunch on a good sunny day. The place is wonderful. However, the service since we have arrived has not been good at all. We had ordered drinks that has taken 30mins to arrive. Some drinks ordered were without alcohol but when received it was alcoholic and vice versa. The food had no taste and took ages to come. The manager came to see us and was very rude and with no ethics at all. Not even a good day or an apology. It’s such a shame for such a wonderful place that has great potential. I do not recommend this place at all…

Really cozy place with a very beautiful environment. The deco is quite authentic and gives the place a certain charm. However, the quality of the food should be improved as it doesn't pay tribute to the place!

We only stopped here for lunch to enjoy the view, atmosphere and food. We ordered seafood soup. The portion is very small. I didn’t even feel anything getting into my stomach. We also took fish. It was delicious. But closer to the bone there was raw fish.

Has been to La Case du Pecheur(LCDP) this weekend and it's been the fourth time there. From a very well experience for the first, I saw it how it continued to degrade in all aspect of hospitality. We could saw many complaints coming from many other reseidents of outsiders, for may have come there for a nice experience. Dont't know to start and where to end to summarise my experience this time.. 1) Bad planning upon arrival, our rooms were changed to the benefits of some closed friends of management. Had to pay more to have another room because of unavailability of familly toom. 2) Foods at restaurant have lost their taste amd uniqueness. We can say blend food. 3) Staffs involved in fraud while we settled our dues on spot. (Filmed on camera) Clearly does not recommend this place 👎

Just left La case du pecheur and we are deeply saddened. Very nice view from the room , we were able to see lots of fishes, crabs and even rare birds from our terrace. Food was good , the grilled fish was perfect. Breakfast was limited but good enough. Have to thanks Milanda the waitress very well mannered and helpful. Overall nice stay. Highly recommended.

This is the place to be. Enjoyed my stay and planning to come back again. Why 4 stars simply because menus are little costly else place, room, quality service, personnels all are just wonderful. (Year 2022) Year 2023 - 2nd visit As expected it was very good and superb stay. Experiencing a different room with different view. Staff very cordial and pleasant with us especially Mrs Jessica for her support and Ms Jessica being a good waitress. This time only issue is that our breakfast there was pancakes missing compared to other clients and had no other options of fruits to be served except apples which I can't eat. Suggestions would be more meals options and would be nice to have more activities like kayaking or pedalo.

The place is nice. I didn't get the opportunity to visit any room. Food served at the resto was good. The pool is big enough for a dip on a hot day. Little huts are around to protect yourself from a scorching sun. You can read a book while enjoying the view over the ocean.

Hospitality and training of staffs can be improved. Welcoming staffs were not aware of our visit even though we prebooked a package. They did not know about the corkage fees and the room displays could be improved (low lighting and waxed floor). It lacks a minibar in the rooms. Otherwise, stayover and food is decent.

Food was abysmal. It's such a shame that such a lovely place has one of the worst food that i've ever tasted. On top of that, it's expensive. We ordered an Ice Tea and got Sunny peach juice and tea mixed together. The food was blend, the crispy was oily. Service was deplorable. 0 Star!

Great place to escape daily rush life. The place is made for people who love minimalist getaways, and the place is not comparable to a hotel but a place where you really have to enjoy your stay with what's available. We really enjoyed the swimming pool and the other facilities. The only issue we had was that the breakfast was very limited. Overall, it was a great experience.

Really nice athmosphere on the private terasse attached to the room. The room has no fridge otherwise everything you need. At night it gets a bit loud due to animals and Cars driving by, the roof has no Isolation. The Manager is a bit Strange, everyone was helpful and friendly but the Service was a bit clumsy. The vegetarian dish was fine, all fish dishes we tried were okay, nothing Special.

Had lunch there and very nice, cosy, quiet place far from "civilization", with a great view. The staff are nice and thanks to Remy for the advice on the menu. It took me one hour to get there, but worth it.

Slow, disorganised, unprofessional service and mediocre food. Waited 30 min for one starter and 15min for the other, ask for condiments and they arrived after we already finished our food. Same for drinks and main course. Also, we only received cutlery after our main courses arrived. Shame, as the location is beautiful. Maybe they need someone with hospitality experience to take over the business ne make it a success as the place have definitely lots of potential.

Absolutely love that place. Scenery, atmosphere, food amazing. Service is a bit slow and lethargic, but that's everywhere in Mauritius. Didn't use the rooms, went for lunch.

Beautiful location. But 'private beach' doesn't mean you have sandy beach over there. In fact it's a mangrove area and you can not swim there. However, there is a small swimming pool. The rooms are quite basic but nice. Each room has a terrace with an amazing view. The bed is big and good. It's a pity that the rooms don't have a fridge. The staff is mostly friendly but the waitresses could use some professional training. If you want your room to get cleaned, you have to tell the staff. Otherwise, the room will not be done. The breakfast is every day the same and very limited. After a few days (we stayed there one week) you want badly something else. The dinner however is really good. I can recommend this place, just don't expect too much.

Great seafood and very friendly and helpful staff. Yes, they might not be heavily trained - as some highlight in their reviews - but they really do their best to create a pleasant experience. We stayed 3 nights in one of the cabins and had dinner on three nights. Would always do again. :)

More professional training is needed for the staff. They play the kind of music they like loud. Customers are asked to bring back the bottle of water after check out, as if no staff is ready to clean the room afterwards. Poor customer service. Booked for 2 nights. Food was good the first night but kept being worse afterwards for a full board package. They should advertise before hand that no food is allowed in the room which has a balcony. No chill water. You need to buy. Among the two guys as manager, one is very kind. The other one is like taking things for granted. A beautiful place but poor service. Dont run after the money, money will run after you if you provide good service.

We were a group of 7 peoples at la case du pecheur great atmosphere the rooms were awesome with the balcony view but the only problem we had was the food it was very oily but the dessert was excellent also there was so much flies and mosquitoes when we were eating and bugs on the room balcony.

The area is beautiful but regarding the dinning We had to wait for more than 1hour to get served. We prebook a full board package and the person was not aware to which food we were entitled to. The starters were served after the main course and we did not receive the desert. Definately not an area that is recommended.

I was amazed by the view around ncad from the room but I'm very disappointed by the service, by the food, only 4 samoussas for 2 persons as appetizers, I order a shrimp tagliatelle I got only 5 in it. Moreover the water from the toilet and taps are muddy water so we could not bath. Thankfully I had a bottle of water with which I could brush my teeth. The workers are unfortunately giving their best but seems tired and so busy that they are not attending us. Breakfast was not as I expected. We had bread butter jam first and we got our coffee and tea later. Not recommended for the price paid.

Dusty room,need a mini bar in room,more food varieties need to be proposed,i would suggest the management to bring on some day activities,i also didn't like breakfast choice! Apart from these critics,lets get to the positive point,the views around are amazing,staffs doing their jobs correctly well i do recommend this place unless they do these changes!

It's a calm location but don't expect anything around this area. Their service was good. But wifi was terrible. A very small portion of food and fewer options. Otherwise, we had a good time.

The room needs a complete renovation. The staffs were very friendly. The food great 9/10. Very appeasing environment. We loved it.

The place to be if you want to get out of the routine and relax. The view is wonderful, with the rooms facing the mountains. On clear nights the stars fill up the sky and makes the view even more magical.

Nice scenery beautiful environment however too rustic according to my taste. Not very kid friendly though, no security bars for kids near the water.

The hotel manager -Remy- made sure that our stay was very relaxing and enjoyable. We were provided with a world- class service and the best Ti' Punch one can have. Remy is a sweetheart!

Very good location for a quite vacation. The room was very good, and the lake view was very relaxing. Downside is the wifi, that doesn’t work in the room and it’s not very powerful in the restaurant either. Overall, recommended.

I hate to say this, but it's one place that I will not go again. Apart from the good diner food, nothing else is worth it. At night we had plenty of insects making it difficult to sit outside and enjoy the view. Overall I would give it a 2 out of 10. You can get much much better for the same price.
