Perhaps the most well run hotel i have experienced in my 60 years of travelling. Everything is perfect; food, beverages , facilities, rooms, ambience & beach. All this is overseen by the wonderful staff, at every level who are so cheerful and helpful. The holiday was superbly arranged by Susie Freeman Travel

Our time at this hotel was more of an experience than a stay. And I would like to congratulate everyone for giving us such a wonderful experience. A perfect peaceful hotel where everything is thought of to the smallest detail. Faboluous atmosphere, delicious foods and cocktails and the most polite staff who are dedicated to provide the best experience I have ever seen. It was the best memorable moments for me and my wife. I would like to thank you to the all staff again. Do not waste your time to search for hotel, this is the best place to stay in Mauritius.

Fantastic experience for our honeymoon. We were blessed to arrive with the hotel at low capacity which was extra special, however even as the hotel filled up the level of service was still outstanding. The hotel is maintained to a very high standard and the staff cannot do enough for you, we had many special touches which helped to make our honeymoon all the more special. I must mention the bar staff Yogi and Sachin who made some excellent cocktails during our visit. Only negative of our stay would be the admin side of hotel - when arriving we were put in a different accommodation to what we had booked, this was however resolved by the hotel on the day. Secondly on check out the bill we were presented was over £150 out, this was due to being charged for drinks which should have been on the all inclusive, tips (which we had actually given in cash at the time) and being charged more for a cooking class which we were given a price for on the day with no choice on what we were cooking, however when it came to the bill the staff advised we were charged more because of the class we did (again we didn't choose this, we just chose to do a cooking class). Most of this was sorted by the hotel before we left, but obviously at check out we didn't want to be recalling all of the money we had spent over the week and trying to work out what prices were correct etc. Still give the hotel a 5 despite the negatives as it was that good.

The Hotel is fabulous but it is made by the staff who are all incredible. Training is one thing but just being yourself and a genuine joy of the job cant be taught . Vikash at the beach was especially good to us. The attention to detail by everyone made our trip special. We had a villa with a pool which was great. The food is varied and excellent and on an all inclusive package the choice of food and wine is the best I have had. A wonderful place and staff. We will be back.

I only have positive things to say about Constance Prince Maurice. We have just returned from our honeymoon and have so many wonderful memories of the most glorious, spoiling and special time. The hotel is beautiful, the beach is picture perfect, the pool is dreamy, the food was exceptional and above all else the service was next level. We smiled from start to finish and didn’t want to leave! Special thanks to Hurry, Lorenzo, Vikram, Paul the tennis coach and Vanila in the Spa who all went above and beyond to make us feel especially cared for. Overall, huge thank you to the whole team. We really hope we might be able to visit again.

The room is phenomenal. The atmosphere here is just incredible. ALL the staff here are welcoming. It is important to mention ( Mr, Terry ) at the guests relation’s who is extremely respectful, and helpful. The food is delicious in all restaurants. I do not always write reviews, but I had to review this resort because I had stayed in many different resorts in Mauritius without having this kind of experience. The room is super clean and smells really nice as well as the restaurants. CONSTANCE PRINCE MAURICE is the best by all means.

Absolutely amazing hotel. From the time you arrive until you leave they treat you as a real 'Prince'. Personal greetings, welcome drinks, personal room tour,... Also a very extensive breakfast with things like freshly made pancakes, waffles, all kinds of egg dishes, bacon, fresh cheeses, samosa's, other Asian cuisine, fresh fish, 4 types of fruit juices, freshly baked gluten free breads and cakes,... So many options to choose from and all very tasty. A few things you HAVE to do in the hotel: 1. Le Barachois (being the 'floating restaurant') which is one of the most unique dining experiences you can have. The other restaurants being the 'Archipel' (main restaurant) and the Asian restaurant are also great, just a bit more 'ordinary' compared to this. Still very tasty and extremely well prepared dishes though! 2. Go waterskiing/kayaking/paddleboarding/sailing. All free-of-charge to use as a guest of the hotel. 3. Float on the 'water-pillows' in the main swimming pool, very relaxing. 4. Get a 'couples massage' with your significant other at the SPA, you will feel reborn afterwards. 5. Go snorkeling at 1 of the small 'islands' at the far right/east corner of the hotel. We saw some lion fish, water snakes, sea snails (Cypraea tigris), special sea urchins and lots of other fish over there. If you really want to see lots of live corals and turtles in their natural habitat I suggest going to Blue Bay Beach in the South of Mauritius though. 6. What you absolutely HAVE to do is the room service, or as they like to call it: 'In room dining', which is indeed a better way to describe the experience. We wished we did this more evenings, as all the rooms have a large balcony with a beautiful view. We had suite 27, looking over the fish reserve and the pathway to Barachois, with the sun setting directly in front of you. Absolutely insane price/quality ratio. Would definitely recommend this room as a 'Junior Suite'. Summarized: A-MA-ZING experience with this hotel and their lovely staff. I can't recommend them enough. Thank you for making every guest feel so special!

This is an exceptional hotel: marvellous places on the beach, luxurious rooms, very friendly and helpful staff and a service that I have never experienced so far - and I happend to see many places around the world. The service was exceptionally warm and accommodating when I had to leave early due to a sudden family bereavement.

  • 4/5 Daniel F. 11 months ago on Google
Probably one of the highest levels of service I have ever experienced, always there when you might need their assistance but never intrusive. On the negative side, the beach is not the best, as it’s on a swampy/mangrove area, so it’s very shallow and it does not really feel like the ocean. Also, note that there is only pool that is ‘adults only’. The rest of the hotel isn’t. We had to deal with a lot of rowdy parents and unruly children that kind of ruined our experience.

Nothing compares to Le Prince and their outstanding personnel, it’s like coming to Paradise! I can’t rave enough about how much I love everything about this magical place. The design is colonial and the rooms are beautiful, myself architect I particularly like all the gorgeous details. Small hotel makes the feeling very “family” never too crowded. It’s located in a lagoon that creates a wind free environment and the most perfect, beautiful sand beach with low water (great for kids). The beach is my happy place, amazing service by the kindest waiters. My husband and kids spend lots of time by the huge beautiful pool in the middle of the facility. The kids club is so much fun for all ages (mine are 5,6,8) they request to spend time there, lovely personnel ❤️. Beautiful mangrove floating restaurant that we love to walk to at sunset. Overall all three restaurants have top notch dining. The staff is what really makes this place so special. The front desk with everyone being so kind and helpful, Akshada, Dipa, Jennifer, Christina, Sen, Guillaume, the whole beach team, the pool master, the spa, many names are getting lost (bad name memory) but you all are amazing! I’m greeted with a warm hug and I cry each time I leave, wishing to stay longer! Love you all and longing for my much anticipated yearly stay!!! Karolina, Damien with Vadim Max and Jean

Pros Good service (but we had better at other 5 star hotels) Beautiful pools (especially the adult pool) Good breakfast Spacious room Beautiful gym and great sauna Lots of water activities Cons Room (wooden) floor squeaked loudly when walked on. We stayed downstairs and we could hear people in the room above us walking, closing the door, dragging their chair (a lot when they returned from dinner late around midnight) We had bad nights because of this. Room AC is not cold. Even though it's set at the lowest (18.5C) it felt like 25c. We read so many great reviews and were expecting a lot from this hotel but we were disappointed. Overall, it was an ok stay but we won't stay here again.

We came here as lovers for our honeymoon. It was an unforgettable stay. This is a hotel of excellence and humility, the service is exceptional, every detail counts. The room is sublime, the maintenance of the rooms and the hotel is impeccable. The breakfast is incredibly complete and tasty. Very high standard of quality. The staff are so kind and caring. The restaurants are delicious, bravo to the chefs. We would like to thank all the cleaning, gardening, activities, kitchen, service, reception staff… and especially Damree, Hawez, Mahess, Pooven, Sashi, Gloria, Priya and Monsieur Mamet for your kindness, your attentions which made our stay unforgettable. We will come back and recommend this hotel without any doubt. Mrs & Mr Rayez

This was our first time in Mauritius but not our first time with Constance as hospitality group. Prince Maurice has blown our perception of what world class service truly means. We arrived at the hotel at 10am, and although we were not told we’d be getting an early check in they made sure to help us out and our room was ready within 30 mins of arrival. This gave us enough time to go through the paper work and itinerary of things to do. We also were able to get a cheeky breakfast. There were 3 of us my wife, my daughter who is 15 months and myself. We were greeted by Imtiaz and Manjula. Manjula was extremely friendly and advised she was on hand should we need anything. After our complimentary breakfast we headed to our room. Extremely excited to see what Prince Maurice had to offer. Already impressed with the resort we entered our luxury private pool beach villa. It was beautiful. Lovely bathroom suite, outdoor shower, a great view of the beach and a wonderful veranda with pool. The manager of house keeping Jeebum arrived and ensured everything was satisfactory. Thank you for being so attentive. The pool was wonderful for us and our 15 month old and was covered enough to get some shade at different times of the day by greenery around the veranda. We were looking forward to the food. Every evening we were treated to what can only be described as heavenly food. A Michelin experience of flavours and courses and service. The wine selections were great too. I would like to give special thanks to manager Poovan who was incredible and ensured we were very comfortable every night. We also had to fortune of meeting a double act of Hurry and Alex at Laguna restaurant. Hurry is hilarious and has a great sense of humour. Our daughter took a particular liking to him so he kept her entertained a lot of the time when we were trying to eat. Again amazing service. Breakfast was sublime a great selection of fruits pastries and cooked breakfast. I’d like to mention Mahess. This man is a rockstar and was so attentive to our daughters needs. He’d greet us in the morning and knew we’d need some warm milk and would graciously ask for them so he could get them cleaned and refilled. We never had to ask he always suggested. It made us feel very at home. Nahid I hope I’ve pronounced the name right offered us a fresh coco-nit drink out of a coco-nut. Mine had some Rum. I think he climbed a tree to get it for us. But special thanks to him. A few things if you have got this far is: They are very strict on dress code for evening meal. Collars are a must, no shorts, so flip flops. It’s like this for the Men, women are allowed to be more casual. So bare this in mind when packing. The spa team were amazing and extremely attentive. We’d just like to thank everyone who were so hospitable. Level of service exceeded the other Constance we stayed maybe 5 fold. This is the place to stay if you’re going to Mauritius and get the beach pool villa. Thank you all

Amazing experience. It's difficult to put all the names of the staff who attend us. They were all extraordinary. They make us fill like rock stars. Everyone we met had always a big smile, and that was something. Very positive and one of the best resorts we stay in Mauritius even better than the other Constance Resort ( Constance Bele Mare ). Room 11 was amazing, clean, and conformable, Top Restaurants ( Le Barachois is an unic experience, Hollywood type ), food was excellent, and winery 🍷 could be better with top Portuguese wines. There is nothing negative to report. Good price for what you get. Cant wait to visit again.

Great place to stay in Mauritius. The resort offers a great combination of delicious food (wine list is very extensive and reasonably priced), friendly service and amenities. The junior suite villa is very spacious and provides a great, quite and relaxing atmosphere. There are a couple of great pools. The resort provides provides sprawling grounds, which is great for taking a relaxing walk. Being on the boundary with the nature preserve, there is an interesting path through mangroves that offer great opportunity to explore nature. Though, the beach at the sister hotel (Constance Belle Mare Plage) is better.

I have been to many five star hotel and resorts but the discipline, warmth and extra attention to your needs given at this place is amazing! I feel I spoiled myself trying this place because now I am staying at a super expensive place in Mauritius but still can’t match their services Oh my god I am going to recommend all me friends this hotel it’s soooooo soooo soooo good. The cleanliness amazing, the location amazing, THE CHEF AND STAFF HOSPITALITY AND CARE IS OUT THIS WORLD!!! Special thanks to Manager Akshada ji and the chef for taking care of our need and cooking Indian meals and breakfast for us in buffet too❤️🫶 If I ever come back again I would stay at CONSTANCE PRINCE MAURIS… Thank you

Wonderful stay. Although they ruined my surprise, they did manage to recover & made us have a great stay. Staff is helpful in every moment & every aspect. Rooms are kept spotless, cleaned twice a day. Food on the restaurants is superb. Spa is a must-try. And above all, the WINE TASTING. If you stay in the hotel, you HAVE TO HAVE the Wine Tasting a worldwide experience. JUVALLE the sommelier, is a exceptional guy. We enjoyed the company and the experience.

The best resort I've stayed at! I could not fault our experience. From the initial pick up at the hotel to our departure, everything was seamless. The resort and its surrounding are stunning, the staff are welcoming and attentive and go significantly above and beyond to ensure you have a great stay. Special mention must go to Yash. The food was varied and of high quality, the room clean and spacious and with plenty to do at the resort. It was my first time water skiing and loved it, even better that you're not charged extra for this. My massage by therapist Vanila was the best I've ever had and wish I could get that kind of treatment here in London. If you're looking for an all round amazing experience, then this is the place for you. Don't waste your time looking elsewhere!

When i arrive at the hotel, i really felt welcome, all the staff of front desk are really nice compared with the restaurant, the service of the restaurant seems not so good, the average of the service seems not the same in this hotel. The day i left hotel, I lost my passport, i really appreciate Shank DEWNUNDUN who helped me look for my passports which is more important than everything.

The best holiday and honeymoon! We felt like in 7*, not 5* hotel. The best hotel and time from last 20 years of travelling. You have everything there to make you feel like milioner;)

It was a fantastic experience! The quality of the hotel was top-notch, the meals were delicious, and all the amenities were excellent. The service was outstanding, and the staff was incredibly attentive and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel for a wonderful stay! By the way I visited in July, which is actually a great time to visit Mauritius during their winter season! The weather was consistently warm, and it was incredibly beautiful throughout my stay.

The most amazing experience ever! The staff at Prince Maurice was exceptional. The accommodations and food was incredible. By far the best service and quality we have experienced in over 40 years of traveling. Definitely a return to destination. Management was extremely interested in making sure service was over the top and checking in daily with us. Too many wonderful people to mentioned but the entire staff is dedicated to your satisfaction and its not forced but genuine. Wez made sure we had a special dinner and it was over the top. The entire staff make sit a point to know you from the start and are always happy to see you. The spa is amazing as is the hotel and location. We did not want to leave and can not wait to go back! There is no other place I could imagine staying than at this resort...a True Gem in Mauritius!

I have stayed at various hotels around the globe and this is by far one of the best resorts I have ever stayed. The staff was super friendly and polite. They think of every detail on behalf of you to make your holiday comfortable and memorable. The facility, variety and taste of food, and the activities at the hotel were amazing too. Highly recommend this resort if you are looking for luxury, excellent service and a quiet, peaceful holiday. Thank you for everything Constance Prince Maurice!

Exceptional location with a great view of the beach. The high point is the service quality. The staff go out of the way to cater to your needs. I was sick and required some Indian food which was unavailable in the menu so the cook sourced what I wanted to make me the dish. The quality of service alone makes this a must go hotel.

Flawless - from arrival to departure and everything in between. We travelled to C.P.M on our honeymoon at the end of October and had a fantastic holiday. We had high expectations of the hotel but the stay, service and setting exceeded them. The hotel is set in fantastic grounds - it feels very private and lots of space. This combined with less rooms than other hotels results in a really relaxed atmosphere that never feels busy. The service was second to none - special mention to Vikash and Sundeep at the beach who treated us wonderfully every day. Further to this Akhil at reception was so thoughtful and considerate. We enjoyed three rounds of golf and tennis - was quite struck at the quality of equipment (given it was included I was expecting to be let down here but not at all). Food across the board was excellent - we did bed and breakfast and on reflection preferred the flexibility that this offered. Entry level rooms are exceptional - always a sign of a sensational hotel. Great beach, water sports included and total privacy if you wanted it - spot on.

The location is to die for. The Barachois at Sunset is stunning. Service was easily the best at any hotel I have been to in Mauritius. The service is not sycophantic and you are treated with respect. Great corporate culture.

Exceptional hotel. The best service I have ever received. Wonderful, thoughtful staff. Bar and restaurant staff anticipated allergies and so did thoughtful things like being over gluten free canapés without any prompt. Also remembering our bar orders so serving our regular mojitos on arrival. In particular, great service by Hurry in the Asian bar, vitesh at the pool area and jaisen the sommelier. A really tranquil hotel where we made to feel so welcome and not so just like customers. If I could give more than five stars, I would. My only feedback is that I would love to see more mauritian food on the menu in the main restaurant and to ensure that the mauritian food is as close to authentic as possible and not adjusted for European tastes! The gateaux pimient had no chilli in. But overall, fantastic.

I held my beach wedding and reception at this beautiful hotel. It was such a dream , everything was beautifully planned to the attentive ears of Akshada and the exquisite attention to detail from Jean Paul. I had many correspondence between Akshada and I as the typical bride wanting everything to be perfect. Words fall short of how well the day was planned and how amazing the staff were to my relatives and I. This was beyond expectation really should be classed as a 7 start hotel. Thank you both for making my day so special.

Overall: Absolutely fantastic, bespoke holiday experience. Service: From the moment we arrived, to the last minute at which we needed to sadly depart, the hotel staff was courteous, pro-actively keen on meeting all our needs, and very well organized. Special thanks to Genevieve, Divya, and Yash for your kind and competent help; at all times! Food: The food in all the on-site restaurants was simply amazing (half-board is totally worth the extra money; no fine-print). Beach and Pool Snack-Menue was varied (daily menue) and absolutely delicious. Bars had cocktails of a quality that can keep up with the best mixed spirits in NYC or Tokyo. Facilities: Clean, low-key, well-designed to fit into the surroundings. All the amenities one could wish for. Gym, Tennis Courts, Pitching Green all in top condition and well organized. Activities: Golf Pros Vishnoo and Rakesh made it easy to get excited about the sport. Fantastic, competent, and kind persons! Thank you to all who made this a very special memory for us! We will be back soon :-)

Ms and Mr D'Orta Prince Maurice gave us one of our best hotel stays ever! The Hotel is a real dream, the architecture puts you at ease as soon as you arrive and the rooms are large, very clean and beautifully furnished. They are cleaned daily and made ready for bed in the evening. It is hard to believe that the hotel is over 20 years old. It just has class and style. But what made us feel at home was the unbelievable quality of service and, above all, the incredible warmth and cordiality of the staff. The punctual and nice pick-up at the airport, with lots of insider tips to explore the island, the professional and friendly reception in the lobby; kudos to the great breakfast, lunch and dinner staff. And the cuisine! A dream! Everything freshly prepared and really delicious. Very caring and attentive in case of intolerances or allergies. Even small special requests are no problem. The team tries to make everything possible. They are always professional, never too pushy, but have everything in view. Highly recommended: the Scottish Bread! Thank you guys, you were just amazing and we had so many fun conversations. Gloria, Soonil,Sen and all the others, Thank you so much! The hotel has a great clean and quiet beach with the possibility to enjoy water sports - but it is never intrusive neither you feel disturbed by the water sports. The sunbeds are far apart and the fact that the beach is wide means that everyone can find a quiet spot. The great beach day is underlined by Vikash and Jeven. The service here is also top notch and I can only recommend the fresh coconut! Really delicious! The guys do a great job, are always attentive and make you feel completely at ease. Thank you Vikash and Jeven! You guys are great! The spa is a feel-good oasis and the massage is highly professional. And again, it all starts at the reception: you are greeted in a warm and friendly way and feel immediately at ease. Thank you Emanuelle! Thank you Vanila and Sandi for your great massages! You are great! There is still much to write and much to praise. You will remain in our memories and we hope to come back. If you are looking for a classy hotel, a cuisine that matches the stars of the hotel, a place of peace and relaxation, a professional and caring service, the Prince Maurice is the place for you. Thank you again so much for this memorable stay! Eva & Daniele

Mauritius offers a lot of resorts, i was so hesitant about which hotel to stay at. i must say i am so thankful that i picked Constance prince Maurice. I loved everything about the hotel and the service is just incredible, let me start with the staff, since I check in till the day I checked out, I was amazed by the way they greeted me every day! and each staff would greet you with ur name !! The staff is really not good they are very bad and just looking for money not looking to Comfort you, and they didn't give us our Ocean view room.. and we booked I have bored package and they refused to give us anything other than breakfast in bed. And the payment in every thing must be in cash they don't have the Machine to pay in card. the food is very bad and the most of it is not halal we were hungry all the time and there is no restaurant near the hotel. taxis are very poor in the Area they will try to show you that they are good but when the payment comes they turn aggressive and greedy. we were happy to leave the hotel honesty, and we enjoyed the rest of our holiday at Another hotel and it was amazing different then this poor hotel.

Constance hotels - A favorite of mine. One can always expect impeccable service served with a smile in locations that are unique and breathtakingly beautiful. The hotel PM & it’s sister hotel Belle Mare P Have beautiful beaches and pool areas. Great restaurants are nestled in all around the hotel in the most beautiful areas. The rooms are nicely decorated but the beds are very hard to sleep in which is bad as sleeping comfortable is of major importance. The hotel staff sorted this out by giving me an extra duvet which helped. The Spa is beautiful and felt secluded. I hope to visit Constance other hotels in a near future and I’m looking forward to my next stay.

I stayed here for my birthday, it was amazing. The staff provide excellent service and are all very friendly. The room we had which was the beach front villa was excellent and worth the price. We had direct access to the beach as well as a private pool. I also enjoyed the watersports provided for free at the hotel. The restaurant also gave me a free birthday cake! I would recommend this to anyone looking for a luxurious stay in Mauritius.

Words cannot describe this absolute paradise on earth. Location, beach, service, food, drinks, hotel, spa... EVERYTHING is perfection, which is so rare. The staff are so incredible, I have never experienced service like it in my life. It was my first time experience when every single person working at the hotel have good energy, kind and attentive. And it was a true personalized service experience. The hotel facilities and the room we were very happy with. We enjoyed our stay at the hotel very much. Just when it came to food the breakfast was good but as for a vegetarian it was difficult to find things to eat for dinner and especially for lunch, but the hotel was flexible to give me vegetable soup or steamed veggies which was not on the menu. I was missing ingredients like lentilles, quinoa, chickpea, buckwheat and whole grain pasta. When you go to the Asian restaurant you need to have the table on the terrace because it’s an open kitchen and the ventilation is not good. The vegetable wok portion is small, not a main dish size.

What a fantastic hotel! We have been to Mauritius 6 times and the last two times in Prince Maurice. We have been fortunate enough to try all the best hotels on this island but we all agree that our experience has been the best here! The staff go above and beyond to make our stay even more memorable. We honestly cannot think of one negative comment to give. We would especially like to thank the following staff who are absolutely brilliant! Manjoola ( executive assistant manager)- We will miss her great sense of humour:-) Hurry & Pascal ( main restaurant) - brilliant service!!! Sachin & Hemraj & Danique ( Lotus bar)- excellent, friendly service and amazing cocktails!! Try the tarte tatin or the crepe suzette. We will miss these! Vikram & Vikash ( bar staff by the pool)- these two made our stay at the pool so much more enjoyable:-) Lorenzo and Abeede ( the asian bar)- Very friendly and made excellent cocktails too!! Thank you everyone and we will be back again soon!!!!

If you’re checking reviews to see if you should stay here - you can stop now! This is, quite simply a slice of paradise. The hotel is utterly stunning but the team behind it is what makes the Prince Maurice so incredibly special. They all (from housekeeping to the pool/beachside, bar and restaurant teams) clearly spend a lot of time meeting and planning how to ensure all guests have the most incredible experience. Nothing was too much trouble and the staff are given carte blanche to focus on making guests stay utter heaven. The food and wines on the all inclusive menu were exceptional and way beyond what I was expecting. We were told “you arrive as guests and leave as friends” and this was so very true. Stephanie, Manjula, Bhivi, Jevalla, Yaseen, Guillamo, Vishal, Suman, Bayo, Charlene, Hurry and Sachin (Mauritius’s best mixologist and exceptional Martini maker!) thank you for everything you did to make our honeymoon so incredible and we cannot wait to return soon. Susie Freeman travel were outstanding and made everything feel tailor made and easy. We were also hugely impressed with Air Mauritius and would not hesitate to recommend. With lots of love and thanks from Bart and Anna x

Amazing hotel. Amazing. Not your typical “resort”… Beautifully designed, calm, clean, and spacious. Well equipped, with excellent tennis courts, spa, pristine beach, and gorgeous pools. Water sports are included and plentiful - wakeboarding and waterskiing were so fun! Their child care was fantastic. We hired a nanny from the hotel who took excellent care of our 14-month old son. It really helped to make the trip - he was soooo happy at their amazing Kids Club with his nanny and my partner and I got to fall in love all over again. She really was amazing….. The food is incredible. Every meal was spectacular (their Chef just won “best chef in Africa”). Excellent variety of cuisine options and a la carte menus - we stayed 2 weeks and never ate the same thing twice. Rooms that are regal, spacious, classically tropical, very clean, and private. Worth highlighting is the service. I have never encountered such timely, caring, genuine, and sophisticated service…. The staff are incredible. They took the time to get to know us, everyone knew our names and greeted us, and took world-class care of us. It was the best hotel experience of my well-travelled life. I have stayed at many fine resorts around the world, and Constance Prince Maurice is the best experience I have ever enjoyed. Kudos to Constance and thank you for the wonderful experience. We are leaving wish positive memories that we will cherish for a life time. Ps - the grass is so green and beautiful!

Luxury in Paradise. From the moment we arrived, we were in awe at the beauty of this resort. This feeling never went away. To say that the staff is warm, friendly, and attentive is to undersell their efforts. We felt welcomed every moment we were there. The rooms are spectacular and the variety is incredible. You will enjoy gourmet food at every dinner, at any location. Truly top notch with world class chefs and sommeliers. And again, the staff are absolutely there for you, to ensure that your meals are equally as luxurious as the environment. Breakfasts are buffet style with a delicious variety and individual pots of excellent coffee and tea to enjoy. We took advantage of the offered water sports and even borrowed bikes to ride into Flacq, but mostly relaxed on the beach. Excursions are available to be booked at the hotel so no need to worry about those on your own. I’d be remiss if I didn’t call out a few of the staff who made an impression on us: Imtiez, the lovely man who checked us in and helped us with any request and questions we had during our stay. Ritika- whose smile made my wife smile even more. Hurry - the first person we met at the restaurant who made certain we were taken care of at every meal following. He is a star. Clayton, Wendel and Mehvine who were there at so many meals delivering, clearing, pouring anything that was required. Jaisen - Somelier who would talk about wines with us as much as required. An absolute gentleman. Ravesh- who made our meals at the Asian restaurant perfect! Yaseen at Barachois who wanted to arrange a proper curry meal for us however we just ran out of time. His excitement over this matched our own. Siddhi - Sommelier (in training) whose love for wines and pride in Mauritius will take very far in her chosen profession. She is a true rising star Kersley - who took care of us for our private dinner. A true gentleman in every sense of the word. His manner, and excellence were not lost on us. Jesse on our beach - always there with fruit or a surprise ice cream cup just when the heat of the day required it. His smile was enormous and he added to our enjoyment. And finally Okim who was with us on the beach most days, who shared our joy at us finally trying some street food at the market in Flacqa. Who stopped to see us even when we weren’t in his area for the day. Who shared parts of his life with us and who truly felt like a friend at the end - Thank you for all of that. I know we have missed so many, but I think the above tells you just how much of an impact you all had. Thank you all for allowing us to experience such a high quality resort.

We had a most memorable stay at Prince Maurice. From the welcome upon our arrival to the warm farewell, everything was just perfect. Let's talk about the resort in general: We really liked the layout of the resort, the very ingenious architecture adapted to Mauritius, the well-kept gardens and the well-placed swimming pools. Everything was very neat and clean. Let's talk about the staff: What warm kindness and friendliness we encountered every day! Nothing was ever too much, everyone wanted to contribute so that we could enjoy our stay without a worry. We were particularly spoiled, and therefore worth a special thank you, by Christine and Hemraj. Let's talk about the accommodation: The Beach Villa was designed very generously and is very well maintained. Room service is also impeccable, morning and evening. Let's talk about the restaurants: The breakfast and dinners were excellently prepared and the theme evenings in particular were a highlight. Speaking of the spa: The massages, whether face or body, were carried out professionally and I felt very pampered. Let's talk about the management: In our opinion, all this friendliness and professionalism are only possible if the extraordinary is demanded, the bar is set high and the demanded is then also exemplified. Hence our very special thanks to General Manager Christophe Planatier and Quality Manager Edouard Labat. Of course there is always a hair in the soup, albeit a very fine one: the quality of the hair conditioner still has a lot of room for improvement.

We spent a great night at Prince Maurice. Hotel was nice but the service took things to a different level. Breakfast was excellent and everyone was helpful without being intrusive. The pool is relaxing while swimming at the beach is fun although its mostly shallow. We had a sunset drink at the bar which had a superb view. Only complaint at the bar is the bug situation was so bad we finished our drinks as fast as possible. Other than this minor issue we had a great time.
