Been eating there for years and have never been disappointed 😁 I would strongly recommend to call for reservation on peak days/hours as it can get really packed. The food was amazing and at an affordable price! There is a large variety on the menu! The pizzas, starters and pasta are nice. I recommend to book in advance before going, especially during weekends if you dont want to wait at least 45 minutes and the food takes approximately 45 minutes after you have order your food. The staff are really friendly. There are also parking facilities. The atmosphere and decorations are really nice.

The dishes were tasty; lasagna, pizza, ravioli. Would recommend the Mexicana Pizza. Friendly staff. Overall great experience, definitely recommended for Italian cuisine. To top it all, very affordable price. Value for money if you're looking for good taste.

Excellent Italian food, very tasty. Good portion as well, not too much or too little. We asked for some changes to our dishes and it was done. Love the decor as well. Would go there again.

Strictly OK. Honestly was expecting better. To be fair it was a busy Saturday evening and the rush was there. However disappointed with the service and wait time. Of the two pizzas ordered one was excellent and the other half burnt. Taste wise, was excellent (where not burnt). May be on another occasion it will be better hopefully. Waiters were overwhelmed probably. I'll let you have a look at the pizzas.

Great food. Grilled gambas was great. Lamb chop had too much fat for my taste. Spaghetti was delicious. Lamb shank was tender, melts in your mouth. The beef steak was good even if they missed the cooking, ordered medium rare but got rare. Their fresh mussels was perfect! Great Italian place to eat. Now in their new location at Choisy Mall, it is more spacious to enjoy those delicious meal.

Great place. We went when it was a bit overcrowded but we still managed to get places. The servers were a little overwhelmed but they still took care of us properly. Few of them even came by to ask if we got what we requested. Good thing we weren't in a hurry though. Food took some time to arrive as there were so many people to serve. If you go there, just go with good company and relax and enjoy the place and the food, which is really tasty.

Glad we could get a table so quickly since it's always so pack. Because the food is so good!!! Affordable, good quantity that will leave you stuffed like a Thanksgiving turkey. One of the best place in MRU to eat genuine Italian pizza.

Really nice pizza at a good price. Wide variety to satisfy every taste. Doesn't make you feel stuffed up at the end (don't push it though) so that's a plus. The chicken lasagna wasn't for me though - didn't find it to live up to the hype based off the other reviews. The fruit punch could be better. Didn't get to try the deserts considering the portion of the generous lasagne but they did seem delicious. Pizzas definitely worth trying! Lots of parking spaces out back. Decor and atmosphere is nice as well.

Without any doubt this is the best Italian restaurant in Mauritius with the best pizza so far. Family friendly, good service, friendly staff despite being very busy. We certainly will be back and recommend to everyone, don’t look further, we tasted them all but this is freshly prepared food with fresh ingredients. Thank you!

For years, this family and their team have run the best Italian restaurant in Mauritius. Fast and polite service with consistent excellently cooking is their trademark. Margarita pizza tastes exactly as it should with tomato freshness leading the cheese. Lamb shanks are highly recommended, very soft, falling of the bone. For starter I recommend foccacia with Italian antipasti. The prices are very very fair. Family friendly atmosphere. Good value for money. Must try.

Terrible service. Despite making a reservation, we waited almost 15 minutes to be served. We waited another hour for 4 dishes, only to be given 3 of the dishes we ordered. They forgot to make the last order and lied about forgetting it. Chef blamed the waitress. No real apology extended either verbally or commercially. Customer service is about respect and accountability, something that is sorely lacking at Luigi's. Never again. And btw, it didn't seem as if social distancing protocol was being respected. Given our experience, not surprising. Sad.

Consistently good. Good service, good food, good atmosphere. And the new location at Mont Choisy Mall is bigger with more dining space and more parking space.

The food here is absolutely amazing. The staff have good vibes, they're really good at what they do. Ordered 3 pizza's, was not disappointed at all. I recommend Luigi's to anyone in the area. Lovely south african team doing their best and not disappointing. I think the cue in front of the dinner shows how good they are.

Great food at an affordable price point. The service there is really great, staff are very friendly and helpful. I had dinner there recently and despite having made a reservation (always make a reservation because they are always fully booked), i did not specify that we had a baby with our party. They initially put us at a table inside but the location was too tight for a baby in a stroller. Despite the place being crowded, we still asked if they could move us to a different table and they were so nice about it and moved us asap. That was very nice of them considering how packed the restaurant was, so great service!

The food is great here, also we sat outside under an air conditioner so it was cool too. I just can’t understand why a lovely evening with good food and company is completely ruined by having to get up a from your table and stand in a queue at the counter to pay the bill. It was stressful as the queue was long and ruined a lovely relaxed evening.

They accepted reservation via phone but then when we reached the lady said they never picked up any call and they do not accept reservations. Weird. Portions for pasta rather small. The ravioli especially. Taste was good overall. Tiramisu was really yummy.

We've visited this restaurant for years, since it was opened in Grand Baie! It is affordable and the food is of very good quality and decent portion size. There is a variety for all dietary requirements. My friend is vegan and they had the best vegan italian food she's ever tasted! Book in advance because it is always busy! I'd recommend going early and enjoying the chill atmosphere.

It is what it is, I would say. We wanted to visit this place for days, and we did it on our last day. It was quite disappointing that they are not having any bread service upon your sitting in an "famous" Italian restaurant. Burata is served with not thay fresh Lettuce and some roughly chopped tomatoes. No olive oil, no toasted bread or anything similar that will accompany a Burata that was not good it self either. Garlic "Foccacia" is actually a thin pizza dough, not cooked all the way, topped with garlic granules... Italian restaurant, fresh produce,... Pasta... I don't remember tasting something so unbalanced and acid, with the lumps of meat. Bolognes pasta and Napoliten pasta. I will not say anything else, but will leave the photos so you can see it yourself. To bad... we left the plates 1/2 full, paid, and left. No one even asked was everything okay... I wouldn't recommend this place.

This place require advance booking, we just walked in and it was almost full. Still the waiter tried his best to give us a table for five unfortunately the table was quite small we were gaving difficulty to eat as there was not enough space to place the large plates and trays. We ordered a pizza 🍕 lasagne, lamb shank, seafood gnocchi and seafood frito misto. Coke was served first followed by the food 30-45 mins later. By that time the ice already disappear we asked for more they gave us huge chucks all sticked together. Starting with the gnocchi it was pretty good with enough sauce but the seafood was very less in quantity. Only 1 person got his food other kept waiting 🙄 after enquiring several times then we received the lasagne which was in an unpleasant Bowl painted with the sauce to commenton the lasagnethere was very few stuffing in between the sheets it was all stacked together without fillings or enough sauce. Waiting for some more minutes we received the pizza and the lamb shank. Pizza was 👍good but very thin crust. Lamb shank was delicious to the eye only bone out of the meat already. Meat was very soft and dry. Served with 3 big pickled potatoes and a few vegies which tasteless. May be they serve best to tourist and locals are treated otherwise even though we pay same price. It was also noticed that other table received their orders before us and we were there before them. Anyways will recommend to those who wants to throw money 💰 🤑 💸 Not going there again

Friendly & efficient service from all staff. First time visit on recommendation and it won't be the last. We just had a couple of starters and a pizza to share. The Tuna Carpaccio was impressively thin and garnished with fresh peppery rocket leaves. The other starter of Grilled Mushrooms also delicious and the pizza tasty with a well cooked base. Good options for drinks and reasonably priced. Here I actually got a glass of wine, not just a tasting amount! Located in a small shopping centre, it may not have the views - but this place delivers in all other ways. Having said that their outdoor area is inviting and attractive. Looking forward to trying more of the menu next time.

Good quality Italian restaurant. The food is served very quickly. The taste was light a little, but perhaps I am just used to the strong European taste. The Price were reasonable every menu.

Staff really welcoming and helpful. Food was very tasty. Grilled mushroom was not what we expected, but to our great surprise was delicious. Tiramisu was one of the best we had 😍 Overall: 8/10

Food is okay. The poulet fondant wasn’t that great & extremely basic. We ordered a seafood pizza, was a very average pizza with only 3-4 shrimps. Pizza prices are decent. Service was not best, maybe we chose the wrong day.

One of my fav italian resto, been there a few times...Cosy and Chill atmosphere to dine in with family, friends or couples...They do have a large variety on the menu which will suit your taste. My favs are the crispy calamri rings, pizza, pasta and lasagnas. I always try a new plate to know how they taste. The food is really delicious there. I love the dinner set up more, with candles on the table adds up to a romantic touch to the atmosphere. For the staffs, they have some very friendly and welcoming, but we do have a few (attitude wise) who serves foreigner clients better than Mauritian ones. A little smile and sweetness won't hurt!😎 We might need a little grooming and training for the staffs. P.s: We took a chicken lasagna last time, just the chicken was missing in the lasagna!😅 I will still reccommend Luigi's as the food is worth it!😍😍😍

I really appreciated that they can their time to make the food. It's a restaurant not a fast food joint. Calamari was tender and tasted fresh. Absolutely adored the calamari. Frutti de marre was nice, as was the ravioli and pizza. It was much better than other places.. I just happened to build up the expectation in my mind.

We went on a recommendation from a friend and it certainly lived up to the hype! For starter we had clams in a seafood tomato sauce and snails which came in mushrooms. For mains my wife had seafood spaghetti (you can customise what pasta you want with your choice of sauce) and she said it was great, but could maybe have done with a bit more tomato (really a minor comment). I had the salami and olive pizza which was as good as you would find in Italy. A wafer thin base, crispy crust and plenty of topping. We would go back again!

Luigi's has now moved to Mont Choosy mall so it's bigger and better

Place is nice. Food is very nice. Had pizza and homemade cheesecake for dessert. I know that is actually real cheesecake but couldn't eat it 😅 Careful guys the chili paste is not that hot but it didn't go with me 😣

Very delightful food available there! Tasted the crispy calamari, seafood pizza and seafood tagliatelle and they were so delicious with generous portions. What was appreciated was that, they agreed to give us another tagliatelle without any additional cost because of a fly ending up in the food. The attitude of the staff is really really nice.
